What a delicious meal we all had celebrating a friends birthday there🎉. The food is delicious.Highly recommended.

Korma was ok, nothing special that we haven't made ourselves before. Mango chutney tasted stale. As you can see from the photos the garlic naan was inedible being burnt underneath and black round the edges. I can't believe that they served it, if I hadn't have got home I've have taken it back. Unfortunately I won't be returning again, very disappointed after reading the reviews

Visted early evening midweek, we were greeted by a very polite member of staff who gave us a choice of tables. We were served promptly both for drinks and our meals.The meals were hot,fresh, tasty and plentiful. The staff checked on us twice during our meal to ensure all was well, they were polite and professional. The building is lovely with plenty of car parking. We will be returning with more family members.

I couldn't fault it ! The whole meal from start to finish was fantastic. The service is excellent, the food outstanding. The curries have no sign of oil on the top like many do...the madras was superb. Their Naan bread is out of this world. Can't praise it enough

Went for an evening meal. Was OK, but don't get why if has such a fantastic reputation. Our papadoms were slightly stale. I had Malibu Chicken which was nice but could have done with being heated up more, it was only warm...same for Hubby who has a Passander. The Chips needed cooking ! I asked twice for a glass of water...I am still waiting for it. Drinks expensive £12 for3 cokes. We will not be going again. Disappointed.

My husband and I love this place and always receive a lovely welcome and fantastic food but last nights visit was exceptional. Our meals were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. I had a chicken tikka balti and my husband had as always the mixed tandoori grill, his curry sauce was so good we shared a tikka paneer and onion bhaji which were also delicious. Thank you Suhail

Called in on a reasonably busy Wednesday and was soon sat in a boith munching poppadoms. Went for the old faithful chicken tikka jalfrezi, and whilst there was loads of it, it seemed to lack the usual vibrancy of a good jalfrezi. Service was good, food reasonably priced.

One of the best tandoori meals I have had in years.

If you are from india and pakistan or from any other asian country, i will recommend you to not to go for main course dishes. Starters are 6 on 10. Overall below average indian food.

The food served was not up to quality.Biryani was not fresh and all the curries tasted the same.

For a Wednesday night it was a little quiet, but then we are in the post Christmas period. This restaurant is the best. We had plenty of time to enjoy our evening out. Thank you team for making it special.

Went here a couple of weeks ago for a family meal, 6 of us total, as it was recommended on Facebook. I had pre booked a table and when we walked in we were made to wait by the front by a rude manager (assuming he was) even though the table was ready and waiting. We had to ask to be seated as we were just left standing and waiting. The food was pretty average and pretty bland, I’ve had better elsewhere. The waitress we had was kind, however the same manager from the start kept trying to drag her away to serve the table next to us instead. He only started being nice to us when we started ordering bottles of wine and our bill was creeping up. No one on the table felt welcome the whole time we were there, which was embarrassing for myself as I’d arranged the meal and said that Suhail had come recommended. Overall a pretty bad experience and definitely will not be going back, which is a shame because they have a lovely restaurant.

The food was fabulous, the service attentive and the ambience calm. Our visit was midweek on impulse but we will visit again to taste more of the varied menu

Buzzy atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, great food. 5 selection of poppadum dips. I ordered the shashlik tikka and changed the vegetable curry sauce for the samba sauce - so nice! One think to note, their allergens info on the menu just need updating as it appeared several had a peanut symbol next to the item, where as in fact they do not cook with peanuts or peanut oil at all. If in doubt, ask. Front of house could not have done more to reassure me. Recommend.

Booked a table for New Year's eve to celebrate a family members birthday. On arrival we had to queue outside in the wind and rain along with many other people who had pre booked tables. There were no tables available, already full of diners and we had to wait for them to finish their meals. It seems the Suhail booked diners when they knew the restaurant was already full. Shame on you, you ruined a lot of people's NY Eve. No apologies whatsoever from the Suhail. How they won restaurant of the year is a mystery. Be lucky to win again if this is how you treat your customers.

We regularly order food to take away from Suhail so I can't comment too much on the in-house service or atmosphere - but the food quality has always been outstanding. We holiday in Talacre a few times every year and always make a point of getting a takeaway each time we come back. Superb food every time. The garlic chilli chicken is to die for!

Terrible would not recommend! We booked a table For 6 people over a week ago and when we turned up there was no front of house staff to organise take away and sit down so we were waiting in a queue of mixed people. They then moved us inside and then we were standing around waiting for 20 mins for a table to free up, They then said there was nothing they could do. Don’t waste your time

It is a lovely place to eat. Refurbished and looked after, clean toilets, which is a good sign of hygiene. I thought my lamb tasted like beef, though, plus my Naan bread was very dry and tasted like a cake. My meal was undercooked, and I left it as it was not edible, I complained, I was just told it would be better next time, not taken off my bill even though I touched none of it. Seems to have let standards drop.

Came here for a meal on Boxing Day, we came as soon as it opened so the restaurant was not busy. We are loyal customers to the Suhail we have been coming here since it’s opened and never go anywhere else for our tandori food. We were extremely disappointed on Boxing Day, not by the food the food was great, but by getting ripped off on our bill. We had noted once we had got home that the waitor had added a few extras onto our bill that we didn’t have. He had added 3 extra drinks and extra popadoms and an extra chutney tray that we DID NOT have. We were very disappointed to be ripped off by a member of your staff after leaving a £13 tip aswell. We had not noticed until we got home, we will not be returning, it is very disappointing as we are very loyal customers.

We went with a group of friends on Christmas Day , 10 people in total. There had been a mix up with our booking, booked it weeks in advance and even called to check the day before and then again 15 before leaving and they still didn’t have a table for us. It was quickly resolved though and we were all seated between two tables. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious, piping hot and well presented. It was the busiest I’ve ever seen and the staff worked really hard and were very attentive. Would definitely go again for our Christmas Day feast!

Fantastic food, lovely clean restaurant with very friendly accommodating staff. Only one small point staff could give you a couple minutes before removing plates. I was still eating my last mouth full and my plate was taken. Saying that highly recommend, best Indian food ever.

Ok, I’d heard a few good comments about this particular restaurant so decided to pay it a visit during a recent weekend in Rhyl. Service was good but the food was rather disappointing! I had the chicken tikka masala and couldn’t break the chicken up with my folk! Found it quite tough like as if it had been refrigerated and just added to a masala sauce when needed ? Usually the chicken is very tender and breaks up much easier than this did, sauce was very bland and I’ve had better at less established places here in the Uk and in India, maybe the chef was having a moment ? But I thought the experience I had at the restaurant was substandard and had better curry from Tesco!

Had a great meal. Got there 5.30 and it was quiet. By the time we left 7ish. It was full. Great everything. Book in advance may be wise

Visited on a Tuesday night in half term without a booking. Restaurant itself was so pretty. Ordered poppadoms, one starter and 4 mains. The king prawn puri was lovely. I had one of the tandoori meals and the chicken was a little chewy. Food all round nice though. Marked down as once plates cleared we were left - we had to ask for a desert menu then go down and pay.

Visited this restaurant as on holiday in the area, when entering the facility we was seated, asked what drinks we wanted and if we wanted popadoms and got all this in 3 mins, when finished they asked if we wanted our mains, that would have been lovely but we hadn’t even been given a menu to order what food we wanted! We then was given a menu to order our food and the order was then taken, we asked for another drink, didn’t get and then when the food came we was very disappointed as it didn’t even look like a curry it looked like a stew and we have eaten in many Indians around the county, overall very disappointing and wouldn’t eat there again unfortunately.

Lovely food and customer service was spot on. The waiters were friendly and very attentive. We ordered chicken tikka for starter along with chicken chat and king prawn chat. All were equally delicious. I can’t remember what curry’s we ordered unfortunately, other than lamb saag which was really tasty. Great experience, we’ll be back.

1st time there. Although food was nice. It was nothing special. There was no back ground music and no atmosphere. Service was awful. Drinks arrived in stages when the staff were reminded about our drinks order,trying to get staff attention to.order, we gave up and found paper and pen, wrote down our own order and handed it to a not so with it waitress. When food finally arrived in stages over the next 15 minutes, we were simultaneously served with the table next to us. On finally getting a bill, We had to bring to the attention of the staff that we did not receive all the drinks on.our bill, mostly due to the fact that so many staff members had been asked where our drinks were that they must have been written down but not given to us Will not be using again.

Ordered a take away an hour in advance , waited over 30 mins at the bar for the food to arrive , got home some of the order was wrong especially one who is a vegetarian and got chicken , food was over priced and was just ok , won't be going back

What a great find, here visiting the local area with another family and we love a curry. We popped in for a takeaway and from start to finish I was blown away. Firstly its a well kept property, lovely building and well kitted out inside. Very clean and tidy all round and as I was waiting to order a nice little chat with the staff who were happy and polite. Food came in good time and when we got back to where we were staying we got stuck in- very nice indeed. If back in the area we would be sure to come back here without a doubt. Thank you

Bought a takeaway from here and it was the nicest Indian I’ve had. The food is so perfect and rich in flavour, the price isn’t as high and you would expect for food of that quality. Since we collected and had to wait a little bit, we sat inside and wow this restaurant is amazing inside. Highly recommend!!

From crewe, Cheshire to Prestatyn for a curry. Best ever indian

Lovely food. Visited a few times. Incredibly prompt service between courses, probably because we visited on a Monday evening and it was clear that the staff were itching for us to eat up, drink up and go so they could close and go home. We didn't feel particularly welcome by the end, and it wasn't late. You're not exactly spoilt for choice in N Wales for decent curry, but the food at Suhail is lovely and for these reasons I would still recommend.

I honestly wasn’t expecting anything special after reading some of the poorer reviews of this establishment but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was a lot better than expected although not the best I’ve ever had but the Naan Bread we got which was called a G.C.K Naan was the best Naan Bread I’ve ever had. It was Garlic, Chilli & Minced Meat cooked into it. Outstanding. Very reasonably priced and service was very good and decor and cleanliness of the restaurant was also very good. If you’re ever in the area it’s definitely worth checking out.

We rang and asked if they would deliver to our caravan site as we were placing a large order- £100, which they agreed to, food arrived on time, hot and we all said our dishes were beautiful, would definitely recommend.

Best of a bad bunch of curry houses in Prestatyn . Prices are ridiculously extortionate . £4 for a glass of coke . Some nights the foods great , others not so great . But without a doubt the best in Prestatyn

Had a takeaway as our usual place was closed. Very impressed with the food and service. The building looks a little odd on the outside, but the interior is fantastic, and we're planning to visit for a sit in meal very soon. Very busy so clearly very popular.

Visited on last minute, service was very quick if a bit too quick, food was lovely and enough to take away a doggy bag, Keema Nan looked a bit strange so not sure how it was cooked but overall nice food good value for money, service was good will definitely go again

Got a takeaway tonight Monday 7th August 2023 . Food was lovely we had poppadoms to start they were fabulous although one of the dips were coleslaw ?? Never had this at a takeaway Indian before . We ordered 4 mains all good portions and piping hot even travelling back to haven where we are staying. Would highly recommend trying this place was very good value for money

It pains me to write this, but here we go... I have fond memories of times in the Suhail when waiters would emerge with an elegant tray of food on wheels, and the meal would be accompanied by the dulcet tones of Indian background music. This has since been replaced by zero music (see atmosphere rating) and food delivered by waiters who clearly couldn't give a monkeys about how it finds its way onto your table. The food itself is now OK, nothing special, rather bland. The entire dining experience feels rushed, and the attention to detail which was a big feature previously, is alas now a thing of the past. Hopefully my next visit will be more satisfactory 🧐

Overall food was good but some dishes could have been a bit spicier. Pashwari nann was a bit too dense. Overall a good experience.

Being on a caravan and weather wasn’t great, we fancies an Indian and this was top choice on Tripadvisor. Pre booked and explained the two children wouldn’t be eating. Great welcome and food was really tasty. Nice large chutney tray and lovely crispy poppadoms. Don’t be put off by the exterior. The inside is very modern. Staff really friendly throughout. The mains are around £12 per curry but sides and starters are more than reasonable. Will definitely return if going for an Indian in the area in the future.

Tell you what, service and food unbelievable. Food came out rapid, was hot and quality of it was amazing. Only gave 4 start because we had to lay our own table and the popadoms were a bit stale. But overall an amazing dining experience, probably the best curry I’ve ever had and that’s from a brummy in Wales. Would recommend to anyone. Class.

I have to say this is by far the best indian restaurant i have been in a long time we were visiting my friend who now lives here so this will be the place to eat the staff were very well mannered and polite and the building is amazing plenty of parking food very reasonably priced thank you for the lovely experience as Arnie would say I will be back 😀

First time visiting this restaurant. Read great reviews so thought we’d give it a try. We’re glad we did, food was some of the best Indian food we have tasted. Staff were all very friendly and polite, service was quick. Prices were good and had a good atmosphere. It gets very busy, both with diners eating in and take aways being collected. We will deffo go again and would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious takeaway - and a beautiful restaurant. The manager recommended the lamb jamshadpuri (made with chickpeas) and it was very very good. My less adventurous dad went with a chicken tikka masala which he said was “up there with the best he’s had” (he’s had a few!) and the rice and bread were d excellent (especially the paratha). All for a standard, reasonable price.

Once great , now avaerage The beer was tasteless and the food was average, a couple of the plates were dirty and the service wasn’t the best. At one time we thought it was the best around but sadly those days are gone.

Unfortunately we ate here this evening, we found the staff were extremely pushy and rude. Trying to get us to order more food, they told us we would have to order a main course otherwise we could not dine with them! My children only eat chips and naan bread, surely it is up to us what we order! I wouldn’t waste my money going there again, the food was bland and service was disgraceful! Plus boiled rice appeared on the bill even though we hadn’t even ordered it, so make sure you check your bill thoroughly before you pay! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING HERE!!

Went for an evening meal, treated ourselves to an Indian meal. Food was fab, Starter was fab Main meal was fab Would highly recommend going here for a meal, sit down or takeaway.

It was ok but no options for people with nut allergies.

This was our 3rd visit here and we can sadly say we will not return! We rang up to book a table, upon arrival the restaurant was busy but still plenty of double tables available and these stayed available throughout our meal. We got seated in the most awkward of spaces, right at the back on the right hand side, it was as wide as a small hall way! I honestly don’t know how they managed to squeeze our table plus chairs into it. I had to literally squeeze the rough to be seated and if I needed to get up my husband would if had to of let me out. The table was so wobbly we had to hold it down with our foot whilst we eat our meal. Anyway we ordered drinks and poppadoms whilst we looked through the menu. The poppadoms arrived and they were completely stale! You could fully bend them in half without them snapping. We called the waiter over to have replacements ( the waiter had to serve us over the balcony as there was no room! ) so the second lot arrived, and the waiter apologised saying they was under cooked these should be better, to be honest they wasn’t any better just reheated! Our food arrived and it wasn’t great, very bland and not much presentation. The atmosphere in the restaurant was extremely loud with about 4 young babies/children crying which isn’t there fault they get bored easily, but the overall experience wasn’t great at all. So we will stick with our new find of Indian restaurants. It’s a shame because the first two times we visited it was completely different it had better service, better food, better atmosphere

Friendly reception and quick service, we appreciated that. The food was nice and plentyful. but no problem to have the surplus wrapped up for a 'doggy bag' take away.

Exquisite! The decor is out of this world! Intricate fretwork and elegant chandeliers. Just beautiful! The food is divine and equally matches the beautiful surroundings. I had a meat tethulia, and the flavours were out of this world. If it wasn't 160 odd miles from home, I'd be here all the time!

Worst Indian food and poorest service ever experienced - food was very bland and staff really can’t be bothered to look after you. Watch out when the bill comes, because they over charged us for things we hadn’t ordered, so check the bill carefully before handing over your hard earned cash.
