Suda Thai Cuisine in Wyre

Had a fantastic meal this week as usual but to have jenny back working here serving us was a massive bonus. She is always friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble.

Went for an early Mother’s Day present for my mum and we absolutely loved it. The staff were superb, especially Jenny, who was so pleasant and made our night special.

Previously avoided after a bad take away experience. Reading reviews most of the bad ones also related to take away so decided to give it a go! Had two starters, TomYum which was a bit more tomato based than previous versions, however understand could easily be family variations. Also had chilli squid, this was tender and cooked well however the batter was a bit greasy and other than a couple of slices of fresh chilli, found it rather bland and could have perhaps done with a chilli sauce accompaniment. Green curry was OK but not particularly spicy. It also had a high coconut content which made it look rather insipid, especially in a white bowl. Other main was beef and cashews. The meat was not the most tender and the sauce was somewhat salty and tasted of fish sauce. I found it pleasant but my wife wasn't keen on the slightly fishy flavor with beef. These are both dishes we frequently order in Thai restaurants. Also had chicken pad thai which was nice. Not an unpleasant experience, but won't be in a rush back. Averagely comparable with our other local Thai.

Disappointed that the chicken dishes no longer use breast. The one I had last night was very chewy unfortunately

A lovely warm welcome from Shell. A beautiful meal so tasty and fresh as ever. My husband and I chose the set menu, with a great selection of starters and then a beef and chicken dish. Our baby granddaughter was with us (we booked for an early sitting) and she was made a fuss of. Met Su Da which was great and she took my baby granddaughter on tour of kitchen! She loved it. Just had dinner here tonight and it was inedible due to having to much salt in it. I complained only to be told yes I know other people have complained about the same thing . Never again

Really enjoyable food, great service with a smile and not too expensive. We will definitely be returning here again but probably on a weekend.

I booked to go here to spend my Christmas money and was not disappointed. We usually order a takeaway from here but we decided to eat in this time. I was able to get a table on the same day I phoned & as always was met with great service and a lovely atmosphere. My mum who suffers from allergies never has an issue at the restaurant and always feels happy. We are also both gluten free and loved being able to look through multiple pages of gluten free items. The food was amazing and we ordered quite a few different plates so enjoyed tasting all the different flavours. I also love that we have separate Thai crackers that are multicoloured so we know we are eating the gluten free ones. They taste so good too! We look forward to our next visit

Service was excellent, menu choice was varied and the food was first class. Will definitely come again.

Meal for 7 people and the food was superb. Had the red curry with egg fried rice myself and it wasn’t too hot, the preparation and quality of the food was very good. Would love to try this place again sometime soon.

I've had lots of takeaways from here and usually they are really good but tonight, it was simply awful - it was soooo salty that it was inedible - how you can make a chicken pineapple dish so salty with not a single trace of any sweetness is a mystery. New chef? Thought about driving it back and asking for a refund as simply couldn't eat it at all but it's been an incredibly long day and I wanted something simple so that I didn't have to cook Won't return sadly ....

Very disappointed, soup was full of lemongrass , the ribs was no meat on them at all , the noodle dish was like slop …went in the bin …we are not people to complain and have ate in the restaurant a good few years ago .

Not been for a while and thought we'd go back for a Friday take out. Ordered a chicken Penang/dry curry and chicken holy basil. The penang was basically an aldi bought red curry with lemon grass and a red pepper thrown in, very unimpressed. The chicken holy basil was a watery bland ginger dish with no chilli in what should be a very hot and spicy dish. The chilli chips had no evidence of chilli on some oven chips. Not impressed, won't be going back

Food is always excellent in her and that goes side by side by the customer service, nothing is too much trouble and they are always willing to assist in any info you need about the dishes, lovely and clean and always leave full.

First time dinning in, we usually get takeaway. The food seems far better eating in, not that it wasn’t good taking it away. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend it. Like the fact they don’t use MSG in their food.

In the centre of Carleton just outside Poulton le Fylde this restaurant never fails to please. The food, service, friendly and welcoming staff are always on point in this busy little restaurant.

The food was delicious (the duck with cashew nuts is a personal favourite). Big, lovely dishes with lots of variety. I’m sure we’ll be back!

All arrived on time however the salt and chilli chips were tasteless and undercooked, we asked for no fish sauce in the chicken and chilli and it tasted like fish, the egg fried rice was really clumpy and hard and the pad Thai tasted extremely sweet and had 0 vegetables in it.

We visit this restaurant regularly, as always this evening was very good… great service, I asked for king prawn with ginger and spring onions (which isn’t on the menu) and was able to have this. It was delicious, should be added to their menu..

We had a bad experience last week and informed the owner directly. In exchange, we got a whopping....F**K all ! Avoid at all costs.

My partner who is a vegetarian, therefore ordered a vegetarian meal from the menu, and it came with chicken in it, she was horrified. Within only 2 or 3 minutes they replaced the meal, however my partner could not eat it, she was so upset. The menu listed the ingredients, it did not list chicken, but the staff said this meal always had chicken in it!

HOW do you make a Thai meal THIS tasteless?????? The sauce on both meals was watery and both beef and chicken tasted the same. Without the very mild peanut sauce, the satay would have just been yellow chicken and as for the fried rice - again tasteless. Having lived in Asia, this was a very expensive trial which DEFIANTLY won’t be repeated. Not an oriental face on view - speaks volumes………………

Don’t bother you’d be better off going to Aldi and getting a ready meal!!! We ordered chilli chips and got ordinary chips which were dreadful and tough. The beef was also tough and not much taste. We ended up throwing most of the meal away.
