In the heart of Old Spitafield Market, this little gem brings a wonderful taste of Italy to London. Great and quick service, amazing pizza, and a cool atmosphere! Bravissimi!

The overall consistency was good and the dough was perfectly made. However, the pizza didn't have enough salt in it to taste good. It's not worth to go back again because it lacked flavour. On the positive side, the service and the employees were great and worked very fast to deliver the orders.

It seems incredible that such an extremely delicious pizza can come out of a food truck. I don't know if I've ever eaten a better one in my life. Depending of course on the time there can be quite a lot of people but without a doubt the wait is more than worth it and the guys at the food truck go out of their way to make the wait as pleasant as possible. If you visit the Spitafields market it is a must-see. Totally recommended

I found this place through research, it is truly magnificent, wonderful, and filled with enthusiastic staff. The ambience is very original, it's not like a classic location where you have enough seats and tables, but you sit on a bench and eat when you get the chance. The maestro who makes the pizza does this while listening to his wonderful Italian music, almost as if in ecstasy. Accordingly, the Neapolitan pizza actually tastes like it does in Napoli, and all the ingredients come from the Italian area. Accordingly, the taste of the pizza is simply perfect, a real enrichment for Londoners who should feast their souls on this pizza. Pizza, quality of ingredients, friendliness of the staff, the original ambience of the place and the super fast service are unique selling points of this location. Always happy, always with great joy.

The pizza tastes excellent but is impossibly inconvenient to eat. Get extra napkins and you’ll be fine, however despite the messiness this is definitely a great pizza place to try when in London. Miles better than any ‘Italian’ chain in the UK, and the prices aren’t terrible for what you get as well.

If you are a pizza lover, like myself, you have to spare some extra time and try this place. Their stone oven pizzas are amazing. Not many options to chose from makes it even better for experience. There is a common place to sit but dont rely on it at the weekends. Be prepared to eat standing. A pizza costs around 10 pounds.

these guys are the best when it comes to italian pizza. Franco Manca and Pizza Pilgrims don't ever get close to what classic italian pizza tastes like. Plus whenever you go by their pizza van you see the cooks and how well coordinated they are. They're all working together and not forgetting to laugh while doing what they love, you can clearly see that. Would recommend either to pick up and eat at the Spitalfields tables or order home, pizza tastes good the same. The only thing i'd like to say, i haven't seen the NY pizza on the menu when i came around there, but it's available on deliveroo and it's delicious.

Finally had their wrapped pizza. Cheap and ok. Filling enough for £5 with tomato and mozarella. Interesting as I can bring it around to eat as I walk. Like a snack but a meal.

I thought I would stop by this place on my lunch break and was appalled by the way I witnessed a staff member treat a customer. She was giving attitude the whole time the customer was trying to order, even giving attitude when they couldn't pronounce something properly. After that she replied in a snarky way when asked roughly how long it will be.

Thanks to the food YouTuber Lukas I came across this great shop. I think it couldn't be more authentic. My portafoglio was a delight. The ingredients were heavenly and especially the tomato sauce was a poem. The prices are fair and the rush is correspondingly great. But trust me, every minute of waiting is worth it.

Truly no longer an insider tip. The small Sud Italia Pizza Van at Spitalfields Market has now become a real institution. The Portafoglia pizza for £5 is a stunner in terms of price and tastes great too. The small pizzas are sold hand-to-hand like in Naples and come steaming out of the oven. You actually feel like you've been transported to Naples for a moment. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable for London standards.

We were walking around Spitalfield Market and I couldn't help but see the blue van. When I saw more that they made pizza I decided to stop and try something. The idea of ​​making wallet-sized pizza was nice, but also pizzas. normal people don't joke, the dough is very good, even with so many people the queue is smooth, the kids are cheerful, very good and very polite, the prices are another reason to try what they do😎

I've been there with my friend this friday we've been absolutely blown away by their food. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Everything is fresh and definatley worth the price. The service is very quick aswell given by the movement surrounding the place when I've been there. There was like 9-10 people that had ordered before me and I have recived my food within 10min. Great service, great food nothing to add or subtract simply stunning 🫶🍕

The little pizza was a massive pizza - we had the folded pizza which was only £5 ! And had the most incredible dips with it. I had the mushroom truffle dip and my life has been changed. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the market and an incredible pre pub and post pub snack ✨ Also the maradona picture on the box made me lol

Very tasty and fresh pizzas made inside a van. The menu is fairly short but at least that allows the chefs to concentrate their efforts. I did make the elementary mistake of ordering a version with ham, when I expected a vegetarian pizza, but rather than admit my mistake I just took the hit. Which was fine as the pizza was excellent despite the folds of flesh decorating each slice.

We got our food around five minutes after putting in our order. It’s especially fast on weekdays and during off peak times. The most well known pizza from them is the ‘wallet’ folded pizza and it was great value for money. Great for on the go and when you want something light but still filling.

The pizza is one of the best I’ve had in London. The cheese to crust ratio is insanely good. The selection is great, every pizza on there is amazing! For what you get, it’s good value.

At the end of the day, you give me a pizza I can't fault and you get maximum marks. Well done guys. Compare it to somewhere like Crisp in Hammersmith which has a lot of buzz but definitely has faults and is overpriced and this is why I give Sud Italia five stars but Crisp only gets four. Friendly staff, good service despite how busy they are, great venue in Spitalfields. All that stuff is nice but if you want to focus on just the pizza then you won't be disappointed. The toppings taste high quality and fresh, especially the cheese. The crust was perfect. Just go there and enjoy a great pizza that they somehow produce out of a van. Well done to the guys making it, you can see them working really hard in there. If you want a quick cheap option get the portafoglio, you won't regret it. But their regular sized more expensive (but not overpriced) pizzas are even better!

Incredible to think these pizza’s are made inside a van! Really high quality pizzas definitely in line with top pizza places in London! We had the Capricciosa which had juicy artichokes, mushroom and ham and also the Zucca which had a delicious pumpkin base - very interesting and definitely worth trying if you want to try something unique!

Great value for your money. Even when it was busy we didnt have to wait that long for the pizza, garlic mayo dip was delicious and so was the pepperoni pizza, the pepperoni slices could have been a bit more evenly distributed but that's just nit picking every single detail! Didn't have effect on taste it was still really delicious!! Staff is also really friendly, if you're in Spitafields and craving a pizza, this is the place to go you won't be disappointed.

Ordered the Margherita and within 10 mins we had our order. This despite it being lunch time and the place had a bunch of customers before us. Friendly ladies at the counter and very prompt service. There are benches nearby to enjoy your meal.
