Subway Restaurants in Belfast

Food is good, but I'm sorry, I feel very strongly about this: you cannot say that you open until 12:30am and then refuse me service (for a takeaway order) when I come at 12:20. If you want to close at 12:15, that's fine. I have no problem with that. But I do have a problem with dishonesty. Unacceptable.

Sat in for my food - desute it feeling chilly inside the manager insisted both doors must be kept open. The manager didnt change their gloves after cleaning before making my snadwich. But the most off putting aspect of the visit was being forced to listen to the manager and staff member loudly discuss in huge detail their feelings on their other colleagues and thier plan to have them sacked. This felt unprofessional as if the customers are sitting in the staff lunch room.

Called to subway Botanic, with my young son yesterday. I asked for a 6 inch chicken tikka sub & a kids meal. My 6inch sub was dreadful, there was very little chicken, very little cheese & salad, just not how I usually get it in any other store! Costs over £4.25 alone and had to go to greggs after for something to eat!! The kids meal was served to us in a paper bag with none of the other items that where supposed to be included (cookie&toy) and should these not come in a kids meal box??? I had to go up after my son had eaten and ask for the cookie. Needless to say to foreign guy that served us shouldn’t have a job working with the public, so durr & NO customer service skills at all. Practically threw my receipt at me when I asked for it!! Will not be back & will be warning people of this store.

Asked for a vegetarian alternative sub and the workers acted as though they did not know what I was saying. They then gave me the meat version of the sub and when I told them I couldn’t eat meat they insisted I still bought it as it was already made.

Called in on Sunday evening. It was fairly busy which is usually a good sign. However there were flies around the counter and when I asked for a mega meat sun I got the vegan plant prepared although I stepped in when I realised it was the wrong thing. Couldn’t get out quick enough. Not a mask on any customer and no Covid compliance in sight.

I bought a sub this lunchtime from Botanic, Belfast.. no staff preparing the subs were wearing masks, was going to leave but instead ordered as it was awkward to leave the queue. Now I am a bit worried about it, now that I've come home to family. I wouldn't go back.

Just for a change I popped in here for a carry out. It is only take away despite policy allowing sit in now. I was served by a pleasant Filipino lady. I choose a chicken teriyaki on herb and cheese bread. With spicy cheese,salad,pickles,cucumber and sweet onion sauce this 6 inch roll is adequate. Adding a tea and a macedamia nut cookie as a meal deal cost £5.30. Fair price. How can you go wrong and add loads for free. Worth a visit again.

You know what you get with Subway food wise. This one is no different and the staff are always friendly and efficient.

Haven’t had a subway in long time decided to get one tonight. Visited Botanic Avenue. Got grain honey oat with chicken tikka and salad. Got home to find bread totally hard at one end. Food was pretty tasteless!!!! Never again

I’m a student and regular customer, however recently new staff feel the need to rush customers and try to predetermine your order like having lettuce on your subway before you’ve asked for it. Quit it

I’m terms of food and service it was no different to any other subway. Unfortunately even though it was 5pm on a Monday I felt quite intimated by the 5 homeless/druggy type guys who came in looking for cheap food. The staff handled them quite well despite their aggressive nature. Unfortunately this seems to be on the increase in this part of town and it would put me off returning. The two young girls working would have been very vulnerable if anything more untoward had happened.

I went in to get 3 subs at £9.90 and came out with having to use an extra £5.40 because apparently drinks dont come with subs! But thats fine because this time were just going to go and get a Mc Donalds for better value on food and money!

There is nothing that will put you off your food than a bright morning turning sour because staff are so unhappy in their role at work, and unfortunately this is definitely the case when I called to Subway on Botanic Avenue. Young staff who looked hung over and miserable and couldn't crack a smile preparing my sub ended up filling me with dread and did not lead to a happy lunch, I ended up leaving most of it and grabbing a bag of crisps instead. Come on guys if you have to party, don't do it on a school night. You may not be fine dining but I prefer not to see one of the Adams family (death warmed up) prepare my food and it would be nice to see a bright smile and a little chat.

Good quality fast food.Worth a visit especially if you have kids. Good coffee and wonderful cookies.

The last time I had a subway sandwich for lunch it was just about ok, but I have not hurried back because it was not a memorable experience. However I grabbed a quick filled wrap with my son and have to admit I really enjoyed it. My wrap contained turkey, bacon and guacamole, and my son had an Italian concoction. Both of us said how tasty our choices were, and on that basis I may call in again soon.

Being someone who suffers from prostate cancer.every now and then I need the look quickly .as subway was close by I went in and explained my urgent need for a toilet and the ignorent staff member refused me the use of there facilities ..in 71 from Manchester on a weekend break . absolutely disgusted by subways attitude the reason they used was I need to buy something in order to use the loo.i thankfully a shop close by let me use the loo in their premises subway should allow toilets to be used in an emergency ..disgusted by their policy...

I did not my sandwich in this suibway. It was absolutelly awfull. There was a strange smell in the local. I reccomend you not to go to this place. THEY DO NOT HAVE TOILET.

Va bene per pasti veloci, con basse esigenze qualitative e la voglia di essere pratici e di spendere poco. Personale cortese e disponibile

Actualmente sentado en han servido por el paseo de chica que no tenía secador de pelo en net colgando hacia la ensaladas! Bostezar y portazos de cosas alrededor de los ojos, ya que rolling habló con ella! Empujando jadeando y puffing! Recomendaría a todos que se alejase ya puedes tener comida mejor en otro lugar y se sirve con una sonrisa nunca volveré aquí!

Quite near to Holiday Inn Express. Been here for quick snack. It's on a busy street and the restaurant was busy at the time of my visit. Still sorted out my sandwich quickly. A quick service indeed.

Had the usual BMT as it was a nice treat to have fresh vegys after all the pub food. Easy walking distance located amongst all the bars.

the one thing u always get at thse palces is good choice and good prices im amazed at just how many subways therer are allover belfast we went to two and both very very good

The fella working here was very attentive and gave me lots of options as I discussed with him my variations of sandwiches and prices.....other subway stores do have a desire to sigh loudly and quickly rant an answer to alterations of the menu. This spot was great and if I'm near again I'll return.

No soy un gran fan de metro pero en ocasiones no el trabajo y justo en el clavo. Qué se puede decir de este franquicia - excepto que el almuerzo hora puede ser excepcionalmente ocupados aquí, especialmente durante el período de tiempo.

Si te sientes como ahorrar dinero y tener una comida rápida, el metro es perfecto. Con todas las opciones de ensaladas y carne, se puede resumir su comida del día. Y quizás con una cookie por Reward ;)

Always love visiting subway. There is always a great selection of food to choose from and the staff are always really friendly.

This review is specifically for ORMEAU ROAD SUBWAY, BELFAST: I'm partial to a Subway; super fresh bread with delicious fillings. I call in occasionally to devour the Italian herb and cheese sub filled with veggie patty, mixed salad and olives. It's yummy and excellent. Plus, staff in this particular Subway are lovely and the store's clean and tidy. So, I wonder why I don't visit more frequently. Then I realise - it's the limited Vegetarian options. Apart from the Veggie Patty there's really only the Veggie Delite (a sub filled with salad) or a salad bowl on offer. Maybe I'd frequent Subway more if they offered more veggie fillings, such as falafels, a couple of flavour options in the veggie patty or greater variety in salads (avocados, various salad leaves, nuts, couscous etc). Nonetheless, what they do have is very appetising - good, fresh tasty food.

Okay so they are all the same a bit like McDonalds but the cookies are unreal. The cookies are worth the wait. The cookies are hard and soft with choc chips and smarties. Plus you can buy three for a quid!! Bargain. Baked fresh everyday, maybe the only thing in subway that actually is. Seriously people this is pure processed junk food and dont kid yourself into thinking its healthy or good for you. It aint! Apart from the cookies go eat them

if you saw how this poor aminals die to appease the Muslims I'm sure you would change your eating habits by eating somewhere else. PLEASE BOYCOTT SUBWAY

Food fine but staff attitude terrible. The fellow who served our party was a complete joke should not be working with the public. No hello no please no thank you. Were subway picked this lad from beyond me. People need to be taught about proper customer service

Could not complain about the food at all. My only concern was with the small manager and the way he spoke to his staff.

Siempre que solemos viajar paramos a comer en alguno de estos restaurantes , los bocadillos son muy buenos , todo es 100% natural y te hacen el bocadillo mientras tu puedes verlo , sin duda uno de los restaurantes de comida rápida que no dejaré de visitar !

cheap, drink are refillable. the one at botanic is open late (great for a late munch or lAzy meal for the next day) can pick to your taste

Hi All, I've concern when 'Subway' in UK is certifiying itself as 'Halal'. It in terms forcing all customer to eat 'Halal' meat....instead of any choice.I don't have anything against halal meat but why one is assumed that he is ok for Halal meat.

good for a quick sandwich, very crowded with the University, but the line moves. Prices are higher than the US with N. Ireland being on the Pound.

Staff are always very attentive and friendly.The food is rather limited in scope, but that's only because it's a sandwich-based eatery.I always still feel hungry after a Subway meal, but I enjoy the sub when I buy one.

É uma boa opção nas viagens pela rapidez e comida padronizada. Como saíamos de Belfast para fazer passeios pelo Norte era uma boa opção de lanche para levar.

Cheap ingredients, hashed together. It must cost them about 10p per sub. Its a sandwich bar, you would at least be generous with the fillings... and use nice bread... Veggie delight is not a delight is just sad bit of side salad. I know its cheap but you'll still spend a fiver. Go to coop and get a meal deal, or just buy a baguette. Cookies are nice though..

I have had Subway in many different parts of hte world. Belfast is undoubtedly the best, because of its bready quality and freshness. Crunchy n crisipy vegetables feel the best when sorrounded by hot, freshly tosted bread alongwith a pinch os cheese. LUVIT!!

I love subway and especially this one - it is fantastic food, I always get the BMT and on hearty italian bread, the prices are pretty good. Very student friendly and filling. A footlong with a drink and crisps isnt even too expensive which is rather good. The only thing which annoys me sometimes is that after a certain hour they close off most of the seating area, I'm sure they must do this, but its kind of annoying to be honest. Also I have ordered sometimes and some girl who works in it was yakking away to some guy while she was taking me order and screwing up my order in the process. Overall though cant beat this wee subway :)

Love that you can get healthy fast food at subway (sometimes it is nice to spoil yourself with a meatball though)! Tasty food made however you want it and super cheap! What's not to like?

I love Subway. What is not to love about building yourself the perfect sandwich on tasty unrivaled bread? The prices are reasonable, their foot longs would fill you all day and their southwest sauce is actually something I'm addicted to now. I can't go a week without having a subway. Their points card is great too, I have the app on my phone and every month can treat myself to a free subway :)

Good for the price. £3 will get you a 6 inch (15cm) sub and a drink at lunchtime. You couldn't be bad to that :)

its a franchise and I find the food could be better and no matter how much to request extra they are too wary of portion control. I just want lots of onions, leave out the lettuce and the olives, you still make a profit

Served by a girl who assumed without asking I wanted my sandwich toasted. Before I could tell her I only wanted it heating she'd slapped cheese on it and so I had to have it cold. Wondered why it wasn't that busy in comparison to my local Subway & I know why. Atmosphere and customer services were both poor. If you want Subway I'd recommend one of the 2 in the City centre

If Ure hungry there's nothing like a freshly made sandwich from subway and I've yet to have anything wrong
