Subway Eastleigh in Eastleigh

I'm a subway fan, but this is a poor one. Been twice as I like to give second chances. Felt unorganised and sub quality was low too. Nice enough staff but wouldn't be returning.

Popped in to get the kids Subway. They only like ham and cucumber and ham, sweetcorn and cucumber. Not toasted, no cheese and no sauce. I feel a little angry at my experience of going there and having to ask for more sweetcorn and cucumber and getting an extra slice of cucumber taking this up to 3 slices and 3 extra bits of sweetcorn. I don't think you should have to barter for veg in Subway. This is the 2nd time we've had this experience at the same Subway. When you're spending nearly £8 for 4 pieces of ham, 6 slices of cucumber, 10 bits of sweetcorn and 1 roll of bread it does take the piss! Please sort this out!!!!

Good food, But took too long. I'm fat and I didn't enjoy waiting

Bread tasted stale this is awful, wasn't offered any salad with my partners sandwich wasn't even toasted correctly for 15 quid waste of money had to throw both sandwiches away as not edible this store needs to be check out by subway as my partner knows standards set by them as was a regional manager for a few years

The lettuce looked off colour didn’t asked if I wanted tomatoes on the sub didn’t ask if I wanted extra salad

Having been away from Subway for quite some time, I decided to stop by the one in Eastleigh on a whim. It was a pleasant surprise from the get-go. Arriving quite late on a Sunday, I wasn't certain of their closing time, but hunger propelled me to try my luck anyway. To my amazement, even though it was past closing, a wonderful man, whom I believe is the manager, graciously chose to serve me. This level of kindness, especially late on a Sunday, was truly refreshing and unexpected. I genuinely appreciated the gesture. Not only did I find the type of sub and bread I was craving (meatball marinara on hearty Italian), but they were all remarkably fresh and delicious. All my preferred toppings were available, and they were of excellent quality. I decided to indulge in a cookie as well because, why not? The person serving me, who I believe was the manager, was not only efficient but also incredibly pleasant and upbeat. Despite the late hour, he made me feel welcome and not the slightest bit rushed. This unexpected and warm experience truly saved my Sunday evening. I'll definitely be back, and the primary reason is the exceptional quality of service I received. Kudos to Subway Eastleigh for going above and beyond to make my visit a memorable one.

The drinks are watered down to the point of ‘trades descriptions’ personnel needing to be involved as they are not as advertised. The sub was ok - nothing special. Other establishments are available - use them

New Staff is really good. Best sandwich I ever had

Good amount of meat, however when it was toasted, it wasn’t toasted for anywhere near as long as it should have been and the veggies were really wet still

Average subway, the staff were quite moody & seemed untrained. The store wasn't accepting the September vouchers posted to local residents and instead was refusing them yet was in the participating restaurants on the Subway site. Food itself was a let down compared to other Subways, meatballs were burnt to the container with no sauce.

Slowest subway I've ever been to by a mile, and they weren't managing to stay on top of supplies so kept being out of an ingredient and needing to go out back to hunt it down. Sandwiches were fine, but very poor organisation led to extremely slow service.

We went to Subway in Eastleigh to get food and John Maunders (i think that’s his name) he was so lovely and sweet!! he said he had his name on the wall for something and honestly deserves it. he was welcoming and treated us amazing. Also the food was bloody delicious!!

Pretty average Subway, nothing amazing but also no complaints. Food looks fresh and general area clean and tidy.

John, Nathan & Lewis alongside the ladies I have had a service from is immaculate! Not only is this facility throughly clean from top to bottom but the service from the individuals makes the presentation that much more worth it. I will continue to visit here on my breaks from work and I am extremely satisfied doing so!

Whenever I’m in town I go to this subway, the staff are super friendly, the manager always says hello to me and it’s a nice meal On this trip I tried the vegan option and the server helped me through it (I’m new to this veggie lifestyle) The salad was filling and tasty and very highly recommended, it was a nice surprise to get a decent meat free meal My daughter has a meatball marinara and she was happy (she did complain she wasn’t offered a footlong but she’s a regular and always has the 6”.. so that’s her fault)Thanks for a nice lunch and friendly service

Em always makes an amazing sub, always deserving and receiving of a bell ring! Never have any issues coming here and it's always nice to see her. Definitely reccomend for lunch when you're busy and just want something quick and still good! I will be back soon. : )

visited this evening around 7-8pm & served by two young gentlemen harry & nathan. what can i say? this was without a doubt the best, professional and welcoming visit ive ever experienced. these two are indeed a credit to both this outlet and subway in general. both deserve highest of compliments & i sure hope its them that i have the pleasure to be served by again :-D

Went to Subway for a lunch and a very kind lady served us I think her name is Emily? Very kind,helpful and polite. And the Sub roll was very well presented and yummy.

A lovely lad called Travis served me, he was very polite and welcoming, will definitely be coming back and if you want nice service this is the place to go!

This is a very worthwhile chain. You choose a type of baguette (from 5/6 different ones), then select various fillings from the servery. My wife and I chose ham (3 folded pieces) cheese (two triangles), lettuce, tomatoes and green peppers. The ingredients were melded together with mayonnaise. Since it was only 11.45, we requested takeaway and greatly enjoyed the baguettes at home. Several tables and chairs are provided, to eat on the premises.

Visited Subway on 12th January with my wife and grandson and extremely impressed with the friendly, helpful , excellent service received from Emily, Harry and John. Will definitely come again :-)

I was rushed for time before my movie at Vue but Emily who had been working since 6am was very helpful, friendly and efficient. Great branch of Subway!

My Fiancé and I find ourselves in this subway sometimes too much, but it’s clean and the sandwiches are nicely prepared. I’ve never had to wait too long either. But the thing that makes this subway better then then most as well as the sandwiches taste better, is the people. The lovely people behind the counter are always happy to see us and always strike up conversation. I come out smiling of this place just by being around people that are enthusiastic and friendly.

I was concerned to see so many new faces serving but not to worry they still greet you with a smile and a chat. The new wraps they are doing are fantastic, very very tasty and good value.

This place has gone downhill in the last six months. Young guy working there has no clue about hygiene. I don’t know the staff member’s name, but as we were queueing he obviously had a cold. He used his tee shirt sleeve to wipe his nose, and on our last visit he pulled his tee shirt away from his body and didn’t change his clear gloves when he served the next customer. Basic hygiene sense young man !! Staff keep the clear gloves on when taking customers money. When you have to clear the table before you sit down to eat there’s something wrong. We won’t eat in there now. There’s a Costa a few doors up which sell a blinding Panini

Subway is mostly the same wherever you go although this Subway has the best staff ever. Everyone is so lovely and helpful so it makes it a much more pleasant experience. Definitely my favourite Subway!

Very efficient sandwich production but made all the better by very courteous and friendly staff. All most satisfactory.

My first visit to subway Eastleigh, we were warmly greeted by Alfie. Ordered 3 foot longs which were probably the best we ever had put together with care and professionalism. Alfie is a real benefit to the business and I will be back

They list there Sunday closing time as 6:00pm on the outside of the store, on TripAdvisor & Google, yet they regularly close at 5:00pm without any notice. It's really not hard to change an opening time to save your customers wasting a trip on a Sunday.

My first visit to subway was forced on me by my children and as my previous review shows they did me a favour. I have since been to other subways and noticed the portions vary slightly. What makes the difference is the staff, Eastleigh has the cleanest shop and the best staff.

Great work by the team for sorting out a good sized order. Stress free!! I ordered everything a couple of days before and it was all ready to be collected at the time I needed to pick it up.

So got an email saying free cookie as it was my bday and have a month to use the offer ( thought that’s cool) I went to subway the day after my bday to grab some lunch as a treat. Firstly I get your trying to save costs on food but putting just 3 little slices of olives a and basically a string of lettuce on top isn’t what I class as adding salad. Then low and behold I wasn’t allowed a free cookie because clearly an email with a barcode that says scan this wasn’t enough for them. It’s a cookie and generally was my email so yeah felt so embarrassed and think they need to be a little bit understanding or make an email say basically no subway card no cookie. Think staff need some training on manners too and how to make a subway!

Can't go wrong with a Subway. Reliable food, coffee is good, more so when compared to an overpriced Costa.

This is subway, the menu is the same worldwide. Predictable but reasonable. Sadly eastleigh was a very busy place yesterday so service was not quick

Had A subway with My Mum 31st June and was served by a guy called John I have to say what a pleasant and friendly young guy and a very hard worker he was on the go non stop I hope the company know what an asset he is to them and deserves to go a long way in the company. I wish all restaurant staff where like him. Big high five to him. Great food too all very crash and very tasty.

I'm giving 5 stars for the food but 0 for advert iceberg ahead please remove as this is disrespectful to 1500 people who died on the titanic.

At a time with prices rising & food & services in decline, it's pleasing, to be able to go out for lunch, where you can be assured the food is fresh, & customers are treated as individuals. Well done Subway, for keeping prices down, unlike other companies who stumble on a great idea, start of with low prices, but before long raise there price, totally out of proportion.

Without seeming too repetitive if you read my other reviews.. Subway is a brand name, they are all very much the same, if you've had a subway before you know what to expect, if this is your first time... You'll know what to expect next time (here or elsewhere) this particular place is always spot on when I go there.

The staff were really friendly and the difference between this subways truly scrumptious food to other restaurants was surprising - it was the best subway i have ever had! There was a really friendly atmosphere and it is an extra good point on top! There is no bad comments on this subway - i would recommend you to go this restaurant! It has won a guiness world record for most subs sold and has 5 other rewards - amazing will go again

We go to Eastleigh once a week and usually visit Subway for our lunch. No matter what time of day we visit there is always a good selection of fillings and bread available. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and we always enjoy some banter with them.We always 'eat in' and the cleanliness of the tables and floor areas are very good, NO remnants of food on tables or floor lying around. Once a year there is 'Pulled Pork' available which is our favourite, So Yummy! Such a shame it is not available regularly?

After a few months away on business, I was in Eastleigh so visited my favourite subway again, it was nice to see that although some staff have changed it is still the happiest, friendliest and cleanest restaurant around.Ben remembered my name, my favourite sandwich and even how long it was since I last visited, it made me feel wanted and appreciated - that is what I call customer service.Needles to say the sandwich was as good as the service so I will be back yet again.

We visited the Eastleigh restaurant at 6.45 pm on Friday 14/10/16. It was not busy, we chose our subs, salad, etc. and were asked if we wanted sauces. I requested light mayo and mine got swamped with it, ok fair enough I did not say just a little. The Mrs asked for a little light mayo and mustard, apparently the mustard that was put on was honey mustard (not what was expected). Then she asked for some salt and pepper on her 6" sub; one whole sachet of salt and one whole sachet of pepper was tipped on top, it was far too much, and totally overpowered the food.The Mrs had a bottle of water to wash down her salt and pepper roll and I chose a diet coke, as most overweight people do lol! My empty cup was placed drinking side down on an unclean counter for me to then take to fill with post mix diet coke.As a hygienic human being, I went to the toilet to wash my hands after handling money, and the door was locked. Oh dear me, I have to be honest, when I was asked if I would like it unlocked in front of other resturant goers I declined abruptly, however what I really wanted to say was "perhaps I should announce to the whole restraunt that I need a download!!" I truly had the hump at this point.So to recap .....Too much sauce and seasoning - how to resolve - ask the costumer how much would you like?Dirty tables - how to resolve - clean them!Un-hygenic handling of drinking vessel - how to resolve - train staff to place cups drinking side up on a clean counter.Unable to wash hands without announcing to the whole restraunt that I need the WC unlocked - how to resolve - fit a hand wash area similar to those I have seen in Nando's, or leave the toilet door unlocked and check and clean it regularly.Will I return? Certainly not!

Having cycled to Eastleigh to carry out some duties in town it was getting close to lunch time and I knew that the subway lunches are very good value and of course tasty. Standing in the que looking at the large menu I was draw to the spicy Italian roll and before you know your at the front of the que and a very polite member of staff was asking what I would like, oh sorry I said day dreaming away. Well I had chosen the 6 inch roll crisps and a drink but the member of staff talked me into a large roll so I decided to drop the crisps of trying to be healthy and had nearly every salad item I the fridge with a squirt of mayo. What a tasty combination it was I sat in the restaurant to eat and was most impressed with the staff cleaning up straight away after people had got up to leave . This is a very well run establishment and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a meal on the go , eat in or takeaway.

I've been to this subway numerous times and it's your average subway. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly. There's plenty of space to sit too.

Came here with my two young ones last week and got kids packs. Children seemed to enjoy food a lot as they keep asking to come back! The girl that served us was about 19 with pink hair (sorry dont remember name lol) and was lovely, Nothing was to much trouble for her, and thanked us when we left will deffo be coming back!!!

Been here on a couple of occasions - plenty of room to sit and obviously all the normal offers you get in other subways. Cheap food for those on the run.

This is just a normal sub, however what makes them stand out is the service and friendliness of the staff. We try to visit this sub whenever we feel like having a subway.

Love this subway, we get them delivered to us at work! We love seeing "dad" when he brings them out to us! He's always cheerful. When we ring to order the staff are all helpful. Great service

Back in Eastleigh on my travels again and had to go back to subway to check it was not a one off.This is still the best service and atmosphere I have experienced.Found out that this is a family run store - husband, wife and daughter and always one member on site which is probably why it is the best.They also do a delivery service, wish they came out my way!I will be returning again !

i visit a lot of subways throughout my travels and I have to say this is the best I have seen by far.The staff are all happy and present a smiley welcome. The young girl, Laura, who served me could not be more helpful and made great recommendations for new recipes not tried before. She also brought my coffee to my table for me - what service.The store was spotlessly clean the food was great and all in all a great experience, I will be going back.

My colleague and I regularly use this Subway location for providing lunch platters to delegates for business meetings and events. The staff are always friendly and it is extremely convenient - we telephone our order through in the morning, and they are delivered to our door at a specified time with various fillings and sauces on the side. The delegates are always impressed and enjoy the meal, and it is much better value than the local catering company we have previously used.Highly recommended.

Best subway I have ever eaten in by far. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was also the cleanest fast food establishment I've seen.

Not sure when I came here but I know it was when they hadn't been open long. I went into the store and ordered so proceeded to checkout where I was told to their card machine was not working after I had been waiting to be served for a long time. I asked where was the signs to say it was out of order, a jumped up young girl pointed to a small sized flyer I said where and she pointed over to a poster that had an object covering it and I said well that wasn't helpful then with sarcasm she then pointed to a same sign next to the door entrance, the sign was very small to notice. The girl had no intention of being sorry after I wasted my time waiting, I love subway food but I have never returned to this store as I don't care if subway have nice food I won't be talked to like an idiot by a teen, more training needs to be done!

The place had a fantastic haloween theme. The staff were helpful,polite and had a positive attitude.The food was outstanding for value. Me and the kifs had a great time.£2 for a coffee and a bacon roll that os probably the best bacon i have ever eaten is outstanding. If you went to McDonalds you would be looking at at least £6.

This is my first visit to a Subway Store, and was absolutely overwhelmed by my Service, Customer Service & Attention to Detail to my Sandwich was incredible. Its good to see there still people with this great Skills, just like the advert say! This wont be my last Visit and I will be coming here on my lunch breaks from now on. My guy Robert was friendly and welcoming, This Subway, has set the bar high. I also think its great they are running charity event and getting everybody involved.

OK, Subway food is pretty much the same whatever outlet you go to but the Eastleigh branch is always friendly and speedy.This one is certainly cheaper then ones in 'touristy' locations. For anyone who has eaten at Subway's before it's an easy process but it can confuse those who don't understand the process of choosing your bread type and length, topping, toasted or not, salad then drinks. A production line but it does work and it means you get whatever you personally want.

Subway in eastleigh has been open for less that a year, however the staff are fantastic and the food is great. All subways are pretty much the same however it does make a big difference when the staff are friendly and speedy. Would recommend eating here, however be mindful that subway's prices are slightly higher than what most would expect.

Usually Avoid fast food outlets but the Subway franchise is good value and a lot healthier choice than others.I make a point of visiting a Subway when I am abroad and can confirm they offer the same food as your local UK shop.The Eastleigh subway are getting there act together.What do they always say about a busy shop and queues.It's got something the others haven't.Decent food!

This is not the best subway by a long shot, the music is way to loud and you can't hear what the servers are saying. Mentioned to the owner and they just smiled, perhaps they did not hear me?Thought when subway moved to Eastleigh would use them loads but have been put of a return visit

Weekend lunchtime, choices of bread were limited as they'd run out of a couple (including what I wanted). Filling was ok, a little sparce though. Seating was ok, shame about the ketchup all over the chair I was about to sit on. Better stock control needed, staff cleaning up more often would be good. Average for a warm sandwich, nothing special. I've been in better Subways, probably why this was quiet at lunchtime on a weekend.

Service patchy but food ok,love a Subway!Queue was out of the door but maybe teething problem,alongside cash only,bit annoying and hopefully resolved soon/now.On my visit had only Coke in fountain drink and no Diet Coke in bottle either so had to settle for water!

I have tried Subway in Southampton and they were not good, messy service areas and grumpy staff. This franchise in Eastleigh is well run, clean and the food is served hot on request. The staff were pleasant and the service was quick even when it was busy. Reasonable size seating area inside with a small number of tables outside.One problem was the restaurant only takes cash at the moment - teething problems with their card readers. Hopefully will be sorted again.Will be going again

A small subway for the town but all the food is fresh and prepared in front of you. There always seems to be a queue, is that bad or good. I would suggest the latter. Good staff and efficient service. Recommend a try.
