Subway in Conwy

Unbelievable. Colwyn Bay subway. Rejected my order! Placed order online for collection. Gave them hours of warning. Reached the shop door and had an email cancelling the order!!! It was for £38 and was a special tea my son had ordered for the whole family. I'm not a Karen so didn't want to make a scene but I'm guessing rather than having to make 5 footlongs they lazily cancelled the order. Also have to wait up to 5 days for the refund. Chose another shop if you want a subway!!

Staff were rude, talking amongst themselves about my appearance and so on. Countunied to make gagging noises and pointed at me laughing. Like I was oblivious to the situation. Short blonde girl and tubby black hair girl rude and unpleasant staff

Never had such bad customer service in my while life, very disappointed and as a regular customer and I will never be wasting my time or money there again!

Went to subway, was greeted by a young female. Showing another new employee how to make subs. I ordered the cheese garlic bread sub, but the way the woman buttered it, flattened my bread and it was more like a wrap. Disappointed to say the least. This resulted in my sub becoming a greasy horrific mess. I wouldn't mind but the poor gent she was teaching, if he is to make subs like that then God help the future customers. I'm not one to say anything, although I probably should have. Dissapointed. More training is neccesary for the staff. Llandudno subway is by far much more appealing as I have never had a problem there.

quite straight forward like most subways really but have always been greeted with a smile, food very enjoyable, lovely jalapenos.

Only one member of staff on and she was brilliant, she gave fantastic customer service. My breakfast sub was lovely.

Called in for breakfast subs 26/01/19 have to say some of the nicest subs we have ever had in a Subway, havent got that taste and smell you sometimes find, so that was great! Didnt have many rolls had enough for what we could choose from. Definatly will go here again for food, also teas and coffees very nice as were the little hash browns, the young lad that was serving was so good, the service was fab! Sorry didn't get his name we went in about 20 to 9 ish didn't know what time it opened for sure as it was it was 8.30 so was lucky nice and quiet aswel we sat in, there's some seating there either table and chairs or they have stools too, the other staff all nice it's at the back of the spar shop, all looked clean and tidy and toilet too, would definitely recommend!!!

We always use this Subway when in Colwyn Bay. Good healthy eats and friendly staff. However, this time we had a super surprise when we found that a new member of staff there was a friend from another branch - so big hugs all round! Subways are always brilliant value. Be aware motorway ones are so much more expensive.

Been in twice now and as well as waiting ages for someone to appear, the guy (after a couple of minutes putting gloves on - not sure why tbh) proceeded to tell us that they didn't have more or less ANYTHING, even down to the bread. As a one off, you'd probably say they were just having supply issues. Going in twice and hearing the same thing a few weeks later was an absolute joke though. Also, the pots that did have little scraps of products in looked dirty, as did the glass, worktops and tables. Wont be going back. Shambles of a shop.

Popped into Subway for a butty. Was quite disappointed as I wanted a ham with full salad sarnie but they’d run out of the basics such as lettuce and tomato! The young employee was quick and friendly enough, but it’s quite sad from reading previous reviews here that there is a lack of normal ingredients at times. Come on, Subway!

Let's just say this very poor hardly ever anything in stock 1 type of bread available poor customer service the staff were rude and very abrupt they didn't want to be their serving you and if you ordered something they didn't have eg the subway melt no ham only Turkey left they charged you extra if they gave you extra Turkey instead of ham how is that right no other subways that I have been to have ever done that and we're happy to help with what ever they could but this place has been so poorly ran I'm surprised they are still opening

I was shocked when I asked that all of the meat is Halal, I asked what alternatives they had and was told salad! Not everyone is Muslim or supports the cruelty that is Halal, and alternatives should be available

This is our favorite place to eat in the Bay. We have visited loads of Subway, but this is our favourite. Especially love it when Jay is serving, she is cheerful, chatty and makes the best sub.

Me and my friends come in once or twice a week from our school around the corner, and the food is always tasty, the staff are happy to help but sometimes rush through orders, meaning our sandwiches have been cold on a few occasions. Overall, the staff are friendly and the food is your typical subway. My only negative is the cleanliness of the tables and the cramped layout. Room for Improvement but worth a visit.

I visited here mid 2017 and the service was absolutely appalling, the lady was so rude and they had run out of so many things. In the end I left without eating anything, I emailed management who did naff all, I even chased them again about it and heard nothing. I stand by what I told them, I will NEVER return to this joke of a store.

Really bad service. Girl serving me was muttering and really rude. Didn't listen to me at all. Such poor customer service.

I love Subway. The food is always good and healthy. The staff are lovely and used to our 12" cut into 1- 10" piece and 1-2" piece! There is more room for sitting here and it is always clean and tidy. Super coffee too. Thanks to all.

Always good for a sandwich while on the go, meatballs are tremendous and the sauce yummy, build up your own sandwich, just the way you want it.

Estoy local a Colwyn Bay, y cada vez que voy es atroz. He tenido rancio, maíz dulce en polvo en más de una ocasión que me daba para una cantidad de tiempo considerable. Ayer fui y la actitud del personal estaba asqueroso, ME DIERON EN para pedir una fuimos bastante simple" pregunta es la albóndiga marinara picante? ". Originalmente pedimos atún pero no tenia, también sólo tenía 2 panes disponibles, que no me gusta. Luego, cuando me dijo gracias, yo lo deje por hoy me saludaron con más actitud. No volveré!

Mi marido, un metro virgen, había sido a ir en un metro, como había oído opiniones contradictorias, y quizás tenía una opinión sería overfacing con las opciones de menús. Sin embargo, decidimos de repente a esta rama en un momento en que estaba tranquilo. En nombre de la otra mitad, yo te ofrecen esta crítica: Selección, excelente y fresca. Personal, colega fue eficiente, directamente al grano, buen servicio. Él construyó el sub exactamente como solicitado. Excelente sabor, agradable y fresco, muy sabroso y satisfactorio. La variedad de ensaladas, carnes, rellenos, salsas y panes, apeló a la otra mitad y ahora es una transformación. Está en un lugar un poco extraño en la parte trasera de la tienda, sin embargo, verdaderamente no veo esto como un problema. Muy buena 5 estrellas y lo recomiendo.

Food is nice just like any other subway but some customer service would be nice. Staff seem to have an attitude thats if they eventually manage to serve you and not be playing on there mobile phones in the back. All staff but in particular...

Siento que saber el menú mejor que el personal. No es agradable llegar a casa descubres que has olvidado la salsa de tomate en mi pizza pepperoni sandwichera! No dura, deberían haber ofrecido a hacerlo yo! Vivo lejos, así que no iba a molestar en ir de vuelta! Mejor capacitación seguro - o supongo que se podría solicitar al cliente lo que es si puedo leer en el menú! Habría pedido pepperoni y queso, si eso es lo que quería! Decepcionante!

So it says Subway on the outside, walk in and it's a mini mart with a vaping shop and a Subway at the back. The sandwich was a Subway - so nothing special but what you'd expect. I got flat bread - avoid this - it's terrible. Seeing my friends beef n cheese come out of the toaster type thing they have was a depressing sight to say the lease. The staff however were the low-light of this visit. Disinterested is an understatement. They didn't get anything wrong but bloody hell they might as well not have been there - a smile and some manners wouldn't go a miss!

Great service, always happy with my food from here, as I come most days. Always nice to see such lively staff like Sam working. Much better than Llandudno's!

Great for a quick £3 sub and drink lunch. The subway is located at the back of a spar supermarket. There are tables and chairs available.

Called in to grab something to eat as was passing , it had a notice outside saying new spar store . I asked a question to a little man I believe had a scotch accent, well when he replied I nearly fell over . The smell of cigarettes from his clothing and oral vapour was really over powering and rancid . Never bothered getting anything to eat as it really put me off . UGH !!

Food consistent. Never a bad meal. Served fast and polite staff. Chicken cooked to my standard and a reasonable price

I have eaten here a few times now never had a bad sandwich, always been good. The staff are always nice and polite. I would recommend.

I can only base my review on the one time I bought a 6-inch sandwich from Colwyn Bay's Subway (at the back of the old Woolies) but it was one of the worst I've had. The bread was dry and didn't taste the freshest; service was cocky and unwelcoming, and the lettuce on my cheese & ham butty was turning brown at the edges. Choose another shop for your roll.

Subway ok - unusual location - but ho hum. Didn't have any 1pieces but politely explained - I hate copper in my pockets anyway so no problem. Then bought four cans from the off licence section and was charged the £4.99 instead of £3.99 as displayed on the ticket -again not bothered - but then to be told in the most condescending manner that they had no 1ps either and they would owe me one like that is the most normal thing in the world. Why couldnt the disgrace of a member of staff just ask if i had 9p or 4p on me. I know it sounds petty but his attitude was shocking, i dont live in colwyn bay and Im not worried about 1p either but that was service at its worse. BBooze you are a disgrace to employ people of this calibre.

Set in the rear of Bargain Booze the location is not goodFood was o k but dining facilities leave a lot to be desired Overall , leaves plenty of opportunity to improveNot a good representation for the Subway franchise

Dirty no gloves didn't wash hands and I was served by a teenager that looked stoned and stunk of fag. Not going there again. Stuck at back of bargain booze shop. Weird

This Subway is at the back of store. Unusual for Subway, but there is a larger seating area, and a TOILET!! The young lady was very friendly and obliging. My cousin and I always look for a subway when viisiting a town. It's good fresh tasty food and, being pensioners we can eat out more often because of it's cheapnest and value.

On paper maybe the idea of siting a Subway in the hind-end of a "Bargain Booze" store looked good.In fact its terrible!.No decent seating.one pathetic token counter with just two stools.So NO disabled seating.Food is ok.Its Subway so its average.But THIS venue is A BAD IDEA.

The staff are always friendly and chatty at this subway branch, located within the newly relocated Bargain Booze in the old Woolworths site. The subs are always fresh and of a high quality at good value. I would recommend the Big Beef Melt Sub on Italian Herbs and Cheese Sub in the £5 with a drink deal. The breakfast deal is also very good value and very tasty. I would highly recommend it for anyone travelling in Colwyn Bay, as well as for locals like myself!

Colwyn Bay's branch of Subway is a bit unusual (in my experience at least) in that unlike all the other Subways I've seen before which are stand alone shops this one is located within an off licence/convenience store. It's essentially a takeaway but there are a couple of tables tucked away in the corner if you fancy eating your lunch in the off licence.I recently went there to try out the £2 bacon sub plus hot drink breakfast deal. There were a couple of issues, firstly they only had two varieties of bread rather than the full range of six. As it happens one of the two available was Italian which was the one I would have chosen anyway. The second issue was that although I went in fifteen minutes after the advertised opening time neither the toaster or the hot drink machine were properly warmed up. Maybe they don't bother switching them on until they get their first customer? Again this wasn't really a problem, I had to wait five minutes but I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere.As for the food. I had a six inch bacon sub with lettuce, tomato, cheese and brown sauce and it was very nice. My coffee was strong which is how I like it. All in all it was very good value at £2 and I'm sure I'll be back for more.

This is a new branch of Subway opened up within a new convenience store in Colwyn Bay town centre. Colwyn Bay tends to get overlooked by the well known chain food outlets although this Subway is right next door to the only other fast food chain in town, namely KFC. It's ok, if you've been to a Subway before you'll know exactly what to expect so you won't be too disappointed and it's better than KFC.
