Subway in Cardiff

Excellent concept and food Always loved subway Very expensive

Avoid this subway for sure, I waited behind a single customer while they were being served by one member of staff, another was also on the counter but not paying attention and building an unrelated sandwich. After waiting a while for the first customer to finish the original member of staff came and started doing something else, at no point was I or the other customer behind me acknowledged or asked to wait while they sorted something, I am not even convinced they noticed me. When I turned to walk away after waiting a more than reasonable amount of time, the staff didn’t say anything, they just appeared unbothered. If I was the franchise owner I would be ashamed that I had hired such rude and incompetent staff. Also I want across the road to Tesco and got a meal deal for about 1/3rd of the price, just save the hassle and go across the road.

This branch is absolutely minging! I ordered a steak and cheese footlong and it was saturated by whatever the steak was swimming in. I know Subway isn’t exactly meant to be fine dining and not exactly the finest cuts of steak but it should be edible. Even at £7 I was happy to lob this in the bin and I’m looking forward to it leaving my body through the rear exit.

Absolute worst subway. They've gotten my order wrong every time and the last one was the worst, gave me completely the wrong food and the salad box I order is so rediculously empty (with missing stuff in it) it's not even worth half the price. If you're considering ordering subway I highly recommend you look somewhere else.

If you've never had a subway, I highly recommend that you get one. They're bloody amazing.

Small store but amazing staff, really friendly and easy to have a chat with them.

Very small store with 4 bar stool seats in the main window. Staff polite and helpful. Food as you would expect, no complaints. Visited prior to going to CIA to see the Kaiser Chiefs.

As soon as I walked in to this branch I felt the atmosphere was off. I was the only customer there - worrying when compared to other nearby branches. I looked briefly at the salad and meat items in the containers and everything looked limp or off-colour. The woman at the counter spoke some English but she talked very quickly and with a strong accent which made it difficult for me to understand her. I had money off coupons in my hand that had arrived in the post and just wanted something quick that didn't cost their normal ridiculous price. Unfortunately this franchise does not accept vouchers / coupons so I left.

Awful service would not recommend wordt subway ever

Server was just rude. Went there today because I received a deal through post and wanted to use it. Was told they don't do it. You can say no in a nicer way or just smile and actually explain why as you're representing the brand. Doesn't cost you anything to make someone's day. Nasty.

The best gf bread sandwich I've ever had

Ordered food through Uber Eats. Everything was delicious, fresh and well packed! Nice experience, thank you to those who made my order on evening May 4th! :)

Standard Subway. Very helpful staff.

Came for a lunchtime meal on Saturday the 18th and I was impressed with the service from the staff. They were very busy but nevertheless efficient. All wore their masks and gloves when serving. Very reassuring so credit where its due!

Standard subway experience and result! I just wanted to help out the lady that was working hard to make sure service wasn't too slow! She was doing her best so big respect! Very nice staff as well!

I highly doubt these get reviewed by subway but went in this afternoon to be greeted by a guy who found his own jokes funny he didn't act professionally and kept making silly jokes to the point it became very annoying. shop was in disarray and after going away Discovered my partners bread was stale so ended up in the bin not a great experience

Friendly staff, fast service and clean. Eat in, eat out, take away.

Ordered a mega meat for collection on the app and it was only when i got home that I discovered it was missing meatballs from the spec and the extra cheese I had asked for, disappointing.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Also incredibly patient with communication problems caused by masks.

Customer service poor..and got given the wrong order tas he wasserving 3 customers at a time and mixing the order.

I had two free coffees. I bought a footlong and asked to scan the app and ‘get the coffee for free’. We asked again coffee is free. He said yes! Then the price he asked me to pay was £8.77 which was higher than the advertised price of the sub. I paid and asked to see the receipt. He seemed hesitant and then gave it to me and when I said you charged for the drinks. He said I didn’t tell him to take it from the app. He didn’t apologise or seem apologetic in this situation. He tried to shift the blame on me. Other customers in the store heard me say can I get the coffees for the free on the app. Just very disappointed with subway and the way he handled the situation was appalling.

I usually enjoy a subway salad, this one was very sparse

Used to go to this place, every morning, as it is near my workplace. The food used to be great, but after the quarantine, it does not taste like it used to. The sandwiches have a sour taste to them, perhaps they are out of date? Thought it was just some mistake at first, but the second time I visited, with my friends, all of them also complained about the sourness. Wouldn't go back here nor wouldn't recommend this subway shop to anyone.

I journeyed here in the hopes of meeting "the one", that sandwich you know you were just destined to eat. Being a bit of a romantic I dressed up, practiced my best sandwich ordering lines and had a pep talk from my mates. So after some introductions by the lovely member of staff, I met my sandwich, I took her out on the town and we had lunch together on the park, it was almost romantic. We spent a lovely half hour our so together but I realised that if we remained together she would change and I would be left hungry for more. So I ate her, and I threw her wrapping away. I'm not proud of what I did but I felt it was best for both of us. Not the one but a good casual sandwich.

Although it was busy on match day in Cardiff ( Wales v Italy) rugby 🏉 the staff were very efficient and polite.

It was very subpar.. The people working clearly hated their job or just didn't know what they were doing. The guy put barely any salad into my sandwich even though I asked for extra and didn't even cut it in half. I was disappointed by it. Subway is normally really good. Maybe I just got it on an off day..

Was OK my chicken sub was not heated properly done if it was cold. Location is good

Had to wait a bit as the employees were a bit slow, but other than that amazing!

The service here is very quick. Don't think that you will eat in at lunch time though as the shop is very small

' ¡a las 6 pm!El miembro del personal (con el cabello rubio largo y rizado, que realmente terminó en mi comida ...) esta noche no parecía que quisiera estar allí, no dijo hola, no sonrió, nuevamente ella estaba 'limpiando', así que me sorprende que incluso me hayan servido. No ranch sauce or honey oat bread

Buena ubicación en la calle Mary Street, casi enfrente de Mcdonald's.Este es un metro muy pequeño.No hay mucho espacio para estar de pie y solo 4 asientos.No es la mejor ensalada del mundo y, para colmo, no aceptan descuentos de Slimming World.Además, hace mucho frío aquí.Solo lo recomendaría si en cualquier otro lugar estaba cerrado.

I don't like a Subway sandwich so I've always avoided going but my son likes them, so, on a recent visit I discovered Subway salads! So pleased I tried one as I was really impressed. You choose your salad by selecting from the sandwich menu but have the sandwich filling as a salad instead plus you can make changes to suit your taste. I will no longer be a reluctant subwayer.

That was the worst £6 I’ve ever spent,all 3 of my snacks were tasteless,I had the mini taco wrap,the taco meat nachos and the flat bread pizza,disgusting won’t be wasting my money here again

A standard chain sandwich shop. If you've been to one before, you know exactly what you're getting. Good for convenience, though not sure I'd go out of my way to visit.

my fiancee is allergic to dairy and she has never had an adverse reaction to the food here, if you have allergies just ask them to swap their gloves.

we went mc donalds & they were not doing eat in so we crossed street to here food was ok not a huge choice of salad or sandwich fillings but we picked they heated we ate & left place needded a good clean

Good location, food as you'd expect

Server was rude, tables and floor were filthy. When asked if someone could wipe them down we were handed a few serviettes and told to do it ourselves. Everything too much trouble. Will never use this Subway again.

Llegué muy tarde en la noche, así que no te apetece ir a comer me decidí por metro.Traté de pedir un metro Club y no sabían lo que era. Se sugirió que esperar por el gerente que 'acercamos' y que estaría de vuelta en 20 minutos. otras dos selecciones que hice, no tenían los ingredientes.Los pobres en general y no volveré.

Stopped by here for a Breakfast when visiting Speedway GP at Millenium Stadium.We had 2 foot longs with all the trimmings and 2 coffees,We were stuffed afterwards.Very tasty and all for 9 pounds for 2.The lasy serving and Sat Morning July the 15th 2015 was also very pleasant and packed us up some great food,Well done Subway.

We grabbed a sub before we went home from a night out, can't complain, it tasted good and was cheap as a meal deal was advised to us.

Duży wybór pieczywa, bardzo dobre mięso, sporo warzyw, świetne sosy. Kanapki wypełnione po brzegi pysznymi dodatkami. Obsługa sprawna i bardzo miła. Miejsce zdecydowanie godne polecenia.

Went to get our lunch , even when the place was packed and a long queue , service was quick and efficient , we used a discount coupon and got a good price for our meal . Meal was good , but not spectacular.

this must be the smallest subway I have ever been in so limited salad choice ( went in for the sald bowl which is usually very good) but had a roll instead
