Subway in Great Yarmouth

I love getting a salad from Subway. I normally have the same thing every time I visit so it is interesting to see how different staff present it. The staff at the Subway in Great Yarmouth town centre restaurant were friendly and did my order perfectly. I was very pleased and the salad was very tasty. Many thanks :)

The subs were made with care & we received very polite service from the young man behind the counter.

Lovely fresh food served by very friendly staff. Located near the town centre. One snag is that it’s a mission to get up the stairs to the bathroom

Friendly service and typical subway food. I had the Meat Feast offer which is good value as well as making a lunch.

Not the usual Subway standards we have come to expect from other outlets. Perhaps we just arrived at a bad time. They were receiving a delivery at the same time as orders being placed, and due to the lack of space behind the counter, this meant they had to keep leaving half made sandwiches, to make room for trollies to pass through. There were 3 interruptions to our order. (And not once was there an apology for the wait) Understandably, this meant orders had to be repeated, as the person making it had forgotten what I asked for... when we got to our table, we discovered 2 of our sandwiches were not on the bread we had asked for - presumably due to her being distracted...However, as service had been so slow and sullen, we just ate them, rather than go back to explain, and take even longer! Perhaps staff were tired and stressed, but there was not a single smile, and they did not look like they wanted to be there! Add to this the toilets were out of order, and we were not impressed. Sorry.

Family of 4 had our favourite subs and a drink. All were great standard, prices were the same as our local High Street so not hiked for tourists All in all a good Subway if a little small

Visited twice whilst on holiday in great Yarmouth. Found the service to be quick and efficient. Lovely food as always.

Had vouchers so good value 2 meals for £7.00 including drinks and cookie or crisps. Nice clean premises and went upstairs for the first time didn't even know it was there. Well worth a visit for the family.

I do not like halal meat and therefore no longer eat subway as all their meat is Halal. We are all entitled to our own choices and this is mine.

I had been reading about the breakfast range that Subway do and wanted to try the breakfast one with poached egg. Apparently it comes with bacon and sausage that I do not eat but they adapted it for me. It was delicious! Next time I am gong to try the cheesey omelette one. Really fresh bread and the eggs were delicious.

Had a sub for lunch and was the perfect experience you have at Sub way. Quick food, nicely packed and good ambience, opposite sea.

Visited twice over 2 days. First day was amazing service with all the freshness in the subway. On the second day we went for the Veggi delight again but not only was the bread not as fresh, half the toppings were empty and the two ladies were not even bothered to top up until I asked if there was sweetcorn or had they just run out. No apologies or explanation. Looked like a machine operated as opposed to Human one. Seems severe lack of proper management in this place.

We were eating in our hotel that evening therefore only required a light lunch. Subway being ideal. Jen ordered a meal deal for 4, so ended up with four ham salads and drinks. Managed to fight for a table and soon devoured our ham rolls, lovely. Walked around with the spare roll all afternoon, still do not no what happened to it. Not Jasper,s kind of eating establishment but tasted good and did the trick.

We visited subway yesterday and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff were lovely and let my mum (who can't see very well) take her time whilst looking at the boards. Tables were packed in and not cleanhowever there only seemed to be one member of staff on and I'm sure she was trying her best to get everything done.

Stopped for lunch at Subway after walking around Great Yarmouth. The restaurant itself wasn't that big and lacked in seating. However we did manage to grab a table after waiting for a few minutes. No issue with the food, service was quick too.

Nice, small and tasty as always. Staff are friendly and the price is superb. The deals are just right and they never stingy on the contents of your sub.

Subs are delicious and good value and surroundings clean and tidy cannotfault staff who were prompt and efficient a pleasant experience

Me gusta el metro porque puede ver lo que hicieron ante sus ojos. Esta tienda de metro es bueno y limpio, y como de costumbre, la comida es muy buena

Metro es un lugar agradable y amable. En la tienda de great yarmouth siempre un buen llenado. Siempre hemos sido tratados bien. Se puede comer en el restaurante o para llevar. Hay asientos de arriba. Los baños son limpios. Si tienes suerte puedes conseguir cupones para ofertas especiales.

A very nice subway close to the markets. Staff very friendly and fast service with toilets on first floor. The food in keeping with most subways was fresh and well priced. I would recommend this subway.

usual choice on the menu, most of us that's had subs before, know the menu, speedy counter, hot coffee and service with a smile, all that's expected from a fast food restaurant,

Pick your bread and meat or pick a salad instead of bread great choice but look out for vouchers usually handed out around the cafes great deals

Normal Subway eatery. Limited choice on menu but still served fresh and promptly. Right on sea front so you can watch world go by. Would have 5 stars if it had a full menu.

Not really much you can say about Subway. Its predictable, tastes fresh and the price is ok. It can however be a bit conusing as you are bombarded with questions as to what you want, how you want it, do you want it hot, cold etc.

The same as any Subwway you might find anywhere in the country so no unexpected issues. Only shortfall of this location is the inconvenient and crammed layout at the counter and the number of stairs you need to cli,mb to get to any decent seating. Does anyone ever clean this restaurant? Food and rubbish on the floor as well as remnants on the tables. Perhaps short staffed? Or wrong time to expect clean tables and floors? Not impressed.Very popular restaurant judging by the queue but could be so much better.

It's a chain and its subway, not much difference between them? This one can't get its discounts right and not a lot of seating.

I work in subway as a manager in Kent so when go on holiday have to try other subways to see if food is good and if cooking food in the merrychef on the right settings or will make shore they will but have to say no problems here food was great clean and lovely to see a good subway and nice to eat from will go there again

Got the order wrong for starters. Then was told the wrong price so spent £7 on something I didn't like but I was so hungry I just ate it! Definitely in need of some staff with brain cells

Good sandwiches, fairly priced, with plenty of choice. It's the model of the Subway franchise, and it works. I find it more attractive and tastier than the other high street fast food places, and it almost always satisfies.On my last visit I had a chicken, bacon and chorizo footlong on 9 grain honey oat bread, with chipotle sauce and salad. It was satisfying and tasted good.

Love this on the street chain simply as it's no thrills, healthy, fresh and you choose your sandwich the way you like it.Food is prepared wonderfully and the staff are fast and friendly.Can't beat this for a tasty lunch in town though more seats would be good as they removed some tables.It is a chain so do expect the same standard and choices.

We came here for a quick lunch using some coupons we had. We ordered three foot longs which was fine but the sandwich artist kept coughing in the crook oh her elbow....I thought this was still a little unhygienic! We choose our food and went to use our coupon only for the man at the till to say we didn't need to give it and we could keep it, not sure if this means we can use it again or what! And we chose to eat in which was a big mistake because it was freezing! Had to put our coats back on we were so cold.
