Subway in Ceredigion

Staff are always kind and accommodating food is always good and properly prepared and nice.

The management are very rude to staff. Twice I’ve seen the manager berate them in front of customers when they were really busy and obviously trying their best . He should learn not to bully people .

Came in on Wednesday afternoon with my friends and the man at the counter snapped at me as I didn’t know that the salad had to put on in a specific order. I’ve gone to subway my whole life and I’ve never had an experience like this before. Really disappointing.

Don't like to leave bad reviews but can't say I'm very happy :( Ordered Tex Mex Footlong and it came with no doritos! :( sandwich was pretty empty.

I am a vegan. Usually, staff automatically change their gloves, but I had to request a change this time. The staff were serving multiple customers and very little interaction with us

Great sandwich but the guy serving on the 9th of June at 2:50pm gave me the worst customer service ever. Firstly, he told us he didn't like his job and proceeded to talk down to us and be disrespectful throughout making our sandwich. Not wanting to be confrontational, i let these comments go and stopped trying to respond to the conversation. This didn't matter anyway as he continued to talk about his problems which we were somehow responsible for and was practically just ranting to us. However, the worst came when I asked for tap water because he proceeded to try and charge me for bottled water. When I brought it up with him at the till, he proceeded to tell me off as "I was going to fill the cup up with soda" and tried to charge me for it. He made up a narrative i was going to this and backed his claim up by talking to himself at which point I told him to forget it because it was obviously too much trouble for him. Please bear in mind me and my girlfriend are closer in age to 25 than 13 and felt ridiculed that we were being treated as if we were 13. Overall, i tried to find an email in which I could complain directly to the store but I couldn't so this will have to do instead. Never had this issue before as everyone else who's served me has always be courteous and professional and to be honest this bad interaction will make me check who's serving before I enter the store.

Despite there only being one member of staff on and a long queue, the girl working absolutely smashed it. Was so quick and friendly, we left very impressed with her.

Young gentleman who was working, 7pm, 15th September, is an amazing individual. Very charismatic, kind, and helpful, certainly deserves a raise, (or a free footlong).

Great service other that I ask for my son just a ham and cucumber sub and one of the stuff though it be ok to put a bunch of seed lol in the sub thank god I noticed b4 my son did or he wouldn't of eat it. Staff should ask if it's OK to put seed it and not just assume it's OK

Small but functional Subway. Don't seem to have any toilets though.

Had a problem about the crisps the 2 stars were for the tasty food staff not very good he just laugh at me when questioned about the crisps sorry I do know it's only 3 packets but it's the principal if they are in the price I've played I would like to be offered ☹️😡

the atmospher here is pretty bad but the food is allright and so are the staff so overall its pretty descent.

Like every subway I have been in, very clean. Two very polite and happy girls served us and with some very picky and indecisive children their patience was appreciated! Bit far from home to visit frequently but this is the second time I've been and I will definitely go again!

Really nice place, the food is delicious and they always add a lot to the sub. I go there every week and am treated kindly by the staff who are very pleasant and willing to help. Would highly recommend going there if you want a quick sub

Really disappointed as this our go to place as its pretty healthy if you make the right choices to order recently noticed they don't pick up the phone to answer calls our subs freezing cold when we asked for toasted

The bread was very stale and hard, there was also hardly any filling inside either.

Well what do I begin with. Asked for to Italian. BMT x2 with cheese and toasted and onions and jalpeones. Got the order no cheese and not toasted. Phoned them and said it will be at least an hour for a new order. Or you can come in a pick it up your self anytime. The service was shocking I won't be going there again. The person on the phone didn't know what was going on but still no appolgie. I think I would rather go to tesco and get a meal deal for half the price and get good customer service plus standard reliable food.

They messed up the order no cheese and not toasted they asked for them back before they would send new ones. That took an extra hour

Subway is always pretty good - even though is a little pricey. £6.49 for a foot long steak and cheese, that said, no one forced me and my stomach was grateful.

Limited choice of bread. Very stingy with the fillings. When I asked if I could have a bit more cheese was told I would have to pay for it. Not great

I was treated disgustingly by the manager Richard. He needs re training in people skills and respect. The sub was poorly made, lacking ingredients, and drenched in sauce. Worst one I’ve ever had.

Standard experience of any subway

Messy to eat but very tasty. Don't bother with the cheesy garlic bread as it makes the sub very greasy.

We both had an excellent sandwich and the coffee was good. Cost was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and efficient. Don't expect toilet facilities, however, the staff will suggest a place nearby, which was very accommodating considering we didn'r buy anything!!!

Lovely staff, very kind and helpful, tasty food well made, a little on the pricier side for a Subway.

As it's on the high street, I pass it when ever I'm on my way to town, perfect for a quick bite. Just like any other subway I guess.

The staff need lesson in manners and how to make hot chocolate with nice milk not milk that had gone off , very bad service want be going there again 😡

I have always found subways to be quick and convenient. This subway was very clean and very fast but sadly there was no toilet; something I expect in public places as cafes. Apart from this it was very nice!

To be honest I can't fault the staff. They were friendly and polite. It's Subway itself that I'm disappointed with. I do remember visit Subway often so I'm going on past experience and my latest visit. I'm a bit of a stick in the mud..I know what I like so I ordered my usual 6" meatball marinara on Italian herb bread...was given a plain bread but didn't complain..I'd eat it...on goes the meatballs which look a bit on the smaller size, no parmasan cheese ( they've stopped doing it) Ended up paying for extra cheese. Salad added and we ate outside as it was a lovely day The bread was nice but nothing to shout about and the Meatballs and sauce totally lacked flavour. Don't know what they've done to their recipe but it's not good. I shan't use this or any other subway again.

What a disappointment the subway is..... Had some food here and can't believe the rubbish they sell, tasteless, rubber like food in stale bread..... Save your money and try elsewhere.

USUAL spicy italian is superb, friendly kind staff. My only fault are meatballs lacking seasoning, not that much seating and sometimes cucumbers look a little dried out.

I absolutely love Subway although I was an absolute sucker for their ice machine so I was gutted when they swapped that out! However, in terms of the service it is generally very quick and as I am vegetarian, I can say that they are great in offering to change gloves and sticking to this throughout my order. The staff are friendly and I find the food lovely.

Although a bit expensive, but there sandwiches are lovely. Defentily go again!

The service is quick and the food is good, but there is limited seating. There are benches just around the corner from the store but if you want to sit in, you'll have to hope its not too busy

standard subway affair, the server with ordering a veg sandwich asked if i'd like her to change her gloves and didn't make it seem like a big farce which some sandwich artists do if you do ask them to change their gloves. only two tables, which meant feeling quite pushed for space and up in other peoples business, but nothing can be done about that. Not a dealbreaker essentially! they are working with the space they have! We also used a voucher for two footlongs and had a bit of a job tearing it out, I always feel a bit under pressure at times like this but survived it.

Speedy service. Food is as you would expect, it is a sandwich shop! Need a quick bite? Like baguettes, crisps and cookies? Go here. Or not, your choice.

The food was great. I was served by two great lady's Gaba and Martyna. It's a very friendly and helpful place with great service.

We all know Subway, so it's a definite 5/5, although this place is extremely popular after a night out, so except a relatively long wait on a Friday or Saturday night.

I ordered my footlong politely I'm never a rude person because I speak to staff with respect, seemed as if the blonde women on the till just wanted to go home, not being funny if you don't like the job then don't bother doing it, I payed for my footlong and as I payed for it I took out a £20 not, the women rudely said to me 'i can't take that off you I don't have change' and I said that's all I have, she rudely then asked me her words 'can't you pay by card' her assuming I had money on my card, I said I couldn't, and her reply to me was 'well you're going to make my life difficult, seriously that place needs to sort out the staff and service, respect works both ways not one way

Really dissatisfied experience with really rude staff who gave me two tomato slices on my foot long when asked politely for more . My foot long had hardly nothing on it and the assistance sparingly gave me 6 pieces of sweetcorn and hardly no sauce . Worst Subway ever Will never return.

Subway standard facilities...ie not too many available seating...but we came in early so had a choice! Timing is everything! Staff were patient as I got confused with 4 orders...and food was fresh as expected...quick service and not tight on sandwich fillings or salad bowl...

Family had food here ,ok if you need a sandwich instead of a sit down meal,only two small tables by the door ,so it's realy a takeaway, no toilets grandson who is seven had to take him to Starbucks toilet over the road.

Went here with my family over Easter what can I say rude staff no wash room facilities , was told by staff my children would have to hold it or go outside to urinate Worst staff ever

All fine, normal subway food. But the space is terrible. No room for a family to sit at a table. The location is probably not the right one for a subway, and it's far too cramped to allow people to sit in.

The Subway in Aberystwyth is situated near the top of Great Darkgate Street close to the clock tower. The food is nice and fresh with a good choice. The service was fairly quick and just the job for a tasty lunch.

Great food and choice, fast service, staff are always friendly. The only negative is they have a very small seating area, but for me that doesn't matter because I always take away. I would recommend Subway

We went in as a group for a snack - at the behest of one of our younger members - and the service from one woman was horrendous. The flatbread served was utterly slap dash, with most of the filling out of the actual flat bread itself (as Subwway die hards, they don't normally do that!), and when questioned as to why the flatbread was like that i.e. not made properly!!, the woman had an attitude and just said "You hold it with both hands!!" - Er, really???? It was rubbish, and they need better training both in sandwich making and customer service!!
