Quick service, friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Nice selection Timon of beverages and cakes. Sadly we had to wait a while to pay when we wanted to leave.

A little gem in Marlow town centre. The staff were really friendly and the service was very good. We had the lemon cake and a scone and they were both delicious

Today I had a delicious salmon & avocado bagel with a deluxe hot chocolate. My friend had a salt beef bagel which he thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the cosy atmosphere and the young lady working there was super friendly whilst providing a top notch service. Thank you

Superb quality food and such warm friendly service. My son had the most delicious bacon and egg sandwich and the bacon was cooked to perfection. My husband had the avocado salmon and cream cheese bagel and loved it. The coffee I had was lovely , strong but not bitter. Only for I have a beach holiday I would have ordered that bacon sandwich so I’ll be back 😆

Stopped here for lunch whilst on a bike ride in the Chilterns. Ordered one salt beef bagel (very nice), two toasted teacakes (just ordinary), two cans of drink and a pot of tea for two which came to £32.95 which we thought was pricey for an everyday sort of lunch. We think a 10% service charge may also have been added on. Surprised to find that there is no toilet or anywhere to wash our hands at the Strawberry Grove which is highly unusual for a cafe serving food; we were directed to the public facilities in the nearby car park. Don't think we'll be returning.

We had a fabulous team lunch here made by Jo and Shannon. They were extremely hospitable and the food was outstanding! My vegan option was absolutely delicious! We also had a team photo here against their pretty flower wall backdrop. Jo quickly cleared the area for us and also took the photo's xx nothing was too much trouble. An absolute gem of a cafe xx

Average -- nothing special and certainly not worth the very tony price for lunch north of £25 for 2 bagel sandwiches, cuppa tea and cappucino. After all the positive feedback we decided to go in and frankly, between grumpy staff and having to take our chances parking on a double yellow line we'll not be going back.

Such a wonderful experience! A beautiful afternoon tea! We loved it ! Fabulous cake and sandwiches were super tasty!!!!!

So first time here today. Seen it driving through lane end, but hadn’t tried it yet. Service was fast and efficient. Had the “proper” BLT and was one of if not the best BLT I’ve ever tasted! Coffee and brownie were also top notch. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very happy customer! Will definitely visit frequently now.

Today I went into strawberry grove Lane End and Jo and Shannon were very polite and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Jo’s bronuts we’re absolutely amazing! Other customers were very lovely and were up for a laugh. I would highly recommend to my friends and other family.

Came here to have breakfast with the family- 10 of us! Sam(manager) and the team made us so welcomed and the food was outstanding. We all had a mixture of cooked breakfasts- meat, vegetarian etc and the quality was excellent. Look forward to coming back- thank you 😊

My husband and I had a lovely yummy lunchat Strawberry Grove in Maidenhead. The Hot Salt beef was very delicious. It was tender and succulent. The cafe is bright and colourful. Sarah served us. She was friendly and welcoming. It has a relaxed atmosphere that makes you sit back and chill out. We will definitely go back for more yummy food. We enjoyed it and will try the brunch next time.

My two children and I visited strawberry grove Maidenhead for lunch today and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, which is unusual with a one and a three year old. I did ring ahead to book and to advise that I would require a high chair and to let them know that I’d have a double buggy with me. Staff, in particular Sarah were very accommodating found a large table where we would not be in anyone’s way and could keep the buggy with us. When taking our order, Sarah was kind enough to recommend things for the children and be flexible with the menu options. There are so many yummy options on the menu, it’s hard to decide. We then borrowed children’s books from the little library to read as we waited for our food, which wasn’t long at all. When it came it did not disappoint and everyone was happy! All in all a very successful lunch. Thank you.

We sat at our table for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, there was no acknowledgement of will be with you shortly, I then asked do we order at the counter and reply was ‘will be with you soon’ and that soon was another 10 minutes! The cakes were yummy but the coffee was awful, so weak like there was a coffee shortage. Meanwhile we witnessed the lady serving being very rude to a customer behind us, who in fairness to them only wanted to know where the cake they ordered was! I asked for the bill and waited 10 minutes, then went up to the counter and asked the same lady for bill again and did mention I asked for the bill 10 minutes ago, her reply wasn’t ‘I’m sorry’ but ‘where are you sitting’!! Our first day in Marlow and memorable for all the wrong reasons!

We feel lucky to have found this cafe. Visited on three consecutive days for breakfast and made to feel very welcome. The food was lovely and and the cafe spotlessly clean. By day three we felt like locals and were sorry that our short break had come to and end. All credit to the cafe manager, she’s an absolute star.

I ordered fruit and vegetables to be delivered. I was hesitant, and this morning hadn’t received confirmation, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. My order was delivered in paper and cardboard packaging, and the products look and smell amazing! There was even a bonus afternoon treat which is very much appreciated! Will definitely be using this again!

This place is lovely always spotlessly clean and service with a smile. The tables are nicely spaced out so great for social distancing. The staff are very friendly and nothing seems to be a problem. The coffee is great and cake even better. Ill be back soon

Met with a friend for a morning coffee. We couldn't fault the service we received from the staff. The coffee was excellent. We will make this our regular meeting place.

Great breakfast and coffee in a lovely building and great Staff, the shop also sells some great unusual products, recommended highly.

We started buying from the Marlow branch during lock down when there was only take away. The service and attitude of all staff impressed us and the food was superb. Today we were able to experience eating in and it was fab. Service spot on, food wonderful, relaxed atmosphere and we so enjoyed our peaceful time eating a great meal. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Strawberry Grove we will be back very soon. You are HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

This company has been a lifesaver during this pandemic.My daughter found it and sent me a veg/fruit box with bread and milk at the start of the lock down, and we were so pleased with the selection and freshness that we have become regulars now buying both veg and meat boxes.Friendly switched on staff and reliable deliveries.Great value, highly recommend.

As a devotee of salt Beef i can but say how excellent the variety of options and the superb quality of the beef keeps me going back as well as the very friendly fast and efficient staff. Cannot praise it more highly but dar readers based only on th brilliant salt beef!!

I've eaten at Strawberry Grove a few times but regularly buy their salt beef bagels to take away. They are incredible!

Food was ok but the staff were so rude. It was busy but I asked twice for the table to be cleaned as it had dried food and was sticky. This request was ignored. Tables are stacked so tightly next to each other and too many people were inside despite this they then added a chair to the aisle telling us to move our dog (we did ask if we could have her in). No please or thank you just rudeness. we then decided we were leaving the waitress hover over us so closely to put other people on the chair that I couldn’t move my chair back. Rude, ignorant and not worth the hassle or cost. But based on the comment made by management as a response to a post on hygiene I would image this rudeness may be a common thing

Stopped on here for s coffee and a quick bite to eat while working around the corner. Not really my sort of place.But if you don't mind the expense it's s nice little please to sit with friends and watch the world go by with a coffee

Newly opened..disappointed with my lunch had BLT very fatty bacon and all i could taste was the mayonnaise.very hard bagel..bacon needs a little more cooking..shame..had been looking forward to the cafes opening..very noisy room when full.

Visited for the first time today looking forward their salt beef menu. After at least 40 mins no food had arrived the order had been lost. Asked for a refund which I got. The acoustics are very poor and uncomfortable with my damaged hearing. The tea blend was to our liking also they allow dogs, unlikely to return soon as menu is interesting

Marta is lovely 😊 we booked for soft launch open first week, bit chaotic but that’s to be expected. I popped back yesterday and it has a much more relaxed vibe! Love the ambiance. Great coffee and cakes look awesome 👏

We had a day out yesterday in Marlow and found this wonderful place to eat. Decor lovely,food great,service perhaps a little slow, but give them a chance, it has only been open a week. Am surprised earlier comments were so negative, we found the staff very friendly and keen to help, we will be going back there.

I think frankly it is over p;riced. There was very little choice of cakes....serviced was indeed very slow..nice young man but needs to be trained if you are asking those prices..nice decor...please if you are in the hospality business train your staff well......would I come back NO

We visited Strawberry Grove in Marlow mid afternoon on the Sunday of their first week of opening. It is rather cute inside but the first thing we noticed was that it was all a bit chaotic! There were dirty cups and plates over the tables and when they were collected the staff didn’t even wipe over the wet and dirty tables. We ordered our drinks and they were forgotten, we reordered and then got them fairly quickly. There was only one choice of cake left and a few scones so we opted for a scone which was served with jam and a very small amount of clotted cream. It was rather nice but would have been even nicer with a more generous amount of cream. Despite there being 4/5 staff working they didn’t seem to be working in sync but I guess it’s very early days. The young man working was rather friendly but it was him who took our order and forgot to process it. The coffees and hot chocolate were very nice and we loved the mugs and plates too.

I ordered a latte with a young man a waited a long time and it never came a lady came over to my table and asked if I have ordered anything I said yes she went and talked to the other staff then came back and asked me what I ordered and brought my coffee over there was a lot of staff on for a small cafe and it appeared to be a bit hit and miss with the service the lady was trying hard to keep everyone happy but keep being told to do other jobs by the young man on the till and a lady that was not in uniform my be as it is new the staff just needs me training as it was the lady’s first day

This is a review for the recently opened Marlow branch. Great decor, friendly staff and average service, and sadly my Buddah salad, whilst not poor, did not live up to my expectations of a £10 dish, and the £2.55 for the can of coke seems steep. If they are having to charge these prices to cover costs, then I worry about the longevity of this coffee shop, which is sad as it has so much potential.

I was excited to try the new coffee shop in Marlow. The Toasted sandwich was average and we had to wait.

What a beautiful new addition to Marlow. Popped in today and was served by a young girl called Shannon. Warm welcoming smile and made my visit very pleasant. Will definitely visit again with wonderful food choices and delightful waitress

A very cute cafe with the most polite young man serving! Delicious coffee with a range of dairy free milks - plus no extra charge for them! and yummy looking food with vegan and vegetarian options! A little on the pricey side for food but will still be returning for some brunch next time as it definitely looked too good to pass up!

Whilst waiting to have a game of bridge in the village hall in Lane End,we called into the Strawberry grove.It is shabby chic,coffee definitely not memorable.,its noted for the salt beef on offer.The menu was intriguing as we have never tasted salt beef we asked if we could take some away with us.They do a takeaway menu so thought that would be no problem.The young lady behing the counter did not have any idea what to charge,and after failing to contact the owner by telephone she cut us 6 generous slices and charged us £6.50.It was very tender,not unlike corned beef,will not be having it again.

I visit daily for my morning caffeine fix with a dash of cream, and a chat with the staff. The staff are wonderful, friendly and accommodating.

Came in today to see what everybody is talking about and must say had the best salt beef breakfast in a long time. The place itself was busy, but under control. The lady running it clearly overworked however managed it very well. Even had a chance to chat at the end. Highly recommend! Will return.

As someone who lives locally we have regularly visited Strawberry Grove in Maidenhead since it opened with numerous visits for brunches and coffees and alway had a great experience.

Really enjoyed my visit. Had tea and shared an apple tart with my husband who had coffee. Great service, very friendly and good value for money (large portions). Will definitely return...want to try the salt beef sandwiches next time!

Stopped for a coffee here on our way into Marlow one Saturday morning. A delightful place with wonderful food and very pleasant staff. Would certainly return & have no hesitation in recommending it. The warm homemade scones were amazing!!

Nice place, cosy, clean, but we did have to wait a bit for 2 coffees. Admittedly, this was because the cafe was very busy. Of the two members of staff on, it appeared that only one was actually doing anything - serving, preparing drinks, cutting cake, taking orders, taking money, waiting tables etc. She was amazing to watch. Not the usual menu - which is a good thing. We didn't eat there as time was marching on. There are no toilets, which is a pity, but the place is small.

Had high expectations as had read lots of good reviews but was disappointed unfortunately. Firstly no toilets (have to walk to the public ones a few mins away, not easy with small children), very slow service and not great portions for the price (eg salmon bagel, £7, one very small piece of salmon). Coffee disappointing. Staff very friendly however, but rushed off feet and leaving people waiting a long time before food and drinks arrive and not able to ask if want a second drink for example, or the bill. So had to keep getting up each time, which isn’t a big deal but a bit annoying after a while. Real shame as staff lovely but the whole thing wasn’t quite working

A lovely place to have an afternoon tea with my friends. The homemade sandwiches and cakes were delicious and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again.

Little disappointed with the salt beef sandwich prep today. It was disconcerting to see the blonde lady who was preparing it, dropped the bagel on the floor then picked it up and continued to finish making it. Was also disappointing to also watch her licking her fingers WHILST preparing it. To be honest, if I wasn’t starving i would have left it behind.

We dropped in just before closing on a Saturday after a morning of walking nearby. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed some delicious sandwiches and soup as well as cakes to take home. Very cosy atmosphere and great food.

This is no run-of-the-mill high street cafe. Anything from a coffee and cake to a full-blown brunch is served at this oasis for travellers. An imaginative choice of food is accompanied by cheerful service and attention to detail. It is now one of my favourites. However Lane End is NOT particularly near Marlow or High Wycombe.

Decided to try this new establishment out in Maidenhead sadly very disappointed toast arrived 20 minutes no service plates to put them on then. Breakfast came 30 mins later cold sausages very hard bacon and black pudding and mushrooms were like they came straight from fridge plus canned drinks £2.75 come on there’s making a mark up but sorry that’s not funny 95p in shops plus I ordered cake to go but never turned up so asked to cancel it but they refused to cancel sorry won’t be returning prices do need to be reviewed

We were served by Helene and she really made our visit special, very knowledgable about the menu and area. Food was delish. Will be returning whenever we are in the area!

Lovely little place we had a Ruben and one other sandwich I can’t remember the name of! But they were delicious. Not too expensive either. Just wish the place had a little toilet!

Small and friendly little cafe with a cottagey feel. Fresh sandwiches, bacon and sausage baguettes etc., eat in or takeaway. Worth a visit.

Strawberry Grove provided lunch for +40 guests for my daughter's christening last Sunday...and they were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and Marta threw in a yummy chocolate cake which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent, arrived hot and her and her team presented it beautifully. Whilst staple Chicken and Beef hot dishes they each had a little twist and the flavours were delicious. May of our guests praised the food, and hardly any leftovers (unfortunately!) so that says it all I think.

The Salt Beef sandwich from here is totally out of this world amaxing. A little expensive at £7 but worth it as a treat. Stop just driving past this place, pull in and have a bite.

This place is fantastic- I've been visiting every now and then for about two years. If you like bagels and salt beef you'll be in heaven! But there's much more, a great tasty selection of sandwiches on a selection of breads, hot plates, salads and cakes- even Polish cheesecake (delicious) A great deli section too- bread, local meats, honey etc.

We visit this lovely cafe frequently and have reviewed it once before. We visited for a late lunch today and departed from our usual choices, The Fromage, and Virgin Mary. We decided on the Macbeth, an inspired toasted sandwich made up of delicious layers.It was the best we had ever tasted!

on our journey home went to Marlow hoping to have lunch but it was very busy so took the back way home through Lane end. We spotted a café and called in to find delicious bagels and salt beef, chicken and avocado warmed bagels with salad and crisps and delicious coffee. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The menu was varied with plenty of choice and the furnishings rustic, comfortable and warming.

Wonderful Salt Beef, great tea, and super nice people. For the lovely chap or girl even free WiFi. A gem in this lovely town.

This is a lovely little cafe that also does take away, I had a salt beef bagel to eat which was delicious. Lovely friendly independent family run cafe. Only down side is they don't open early in the mornings.

Just the place for a quick lunch with minimum fuss, but we found it to be rather expensive for what we had to eat. The salt beef was very good but served in a very small bagel with minimal garnish it looked a little lonely on a large plate. Green salad with parmesan shavings presented in a cereal bowl, so not very inspiring or easy to eat!

Not far from Marlow or Wycombe is this little cafe which serves a range of foods and drinks. Salt beef is a speciality and deliciously soft. Good quality and worth a visit if your passing.

You can easily find a bland sandwich in any number of shops, stores or pubs. This cafe delivers a great sandwich with quirky surroundings, but a pleasant and warm welcome.

Just popped in to grab a salt beef bagel during my lunch break. It was immense, a monster portion of salt beef, very tender, succulent and totally delicious! Will be recommending to my colleagues that we introduce 'salt beef bagel day' to the office (I understand they will deliver to local offices). Will be back again soon for my salt beef hit!

My wife and I stop off in lane end to buy their wonderful salt beef bagels to take away. The service is swift and friendly - but the food is wonderful. Have a great picnic from their lovely menu or eat in. Either way you will not be disappointed.

The cafe is tiny but crammed full of lovely foods to buy and homemade cakes. The bagels are stuffed full of the cafe's speciality, salt beef, and were gorgeous! Lots of other things on the menu too like salads, toasties and soup. The bagels were fresh and chunky, served warm with the beef and pickles. Can't wait to try their variations! We also tried some hazelnut cheesecake which was dreamy! Staff were so welcoming too. Lovely local cafe to stop at.

Been here a couple of times, the salt beef bagels are superb and there is a choice of fillings, freshly made in front of you. Coffee is very good as well. Its a popular cafe, about half a dozen tables inside. Well worth visiting if passing through Lane End.

Firstly, Marta is super accommodating to requests - which of course is a real bonus as I'm an out-of-towner.I chose this place as I was treating some clients to take away breakfast and was sold on the idea of having salt beef bagels first thing!All of my clients who ate breakfast LOVED it and those that opted out were visibly envious... and have now put their names up for the next time I'm in!We all chose different menu items but not one person came back with an disappointments. i can confidently state I will be visiting Strawberry Grove regularly, what a rare find!

Somehow the sleepy little village of Lane End isn't where I expected to find the best salt beef bagels I've tasted outside New York City. But there it was. Friendly service, varied clientele, just great.

Quirky little place but with a menu where you want to eat everything. The Salt beef bagels look great but I went for the cake. Victoria sponge made as it ought to be. If you live locally or are passing by get quirky and try it out.

I've been here four times now just after lunchtime following a hard morning at work. Each visit has been really good. I'm a fan of pickles and the gherkins, sauerkraut and beetroot sauerkraut accompany some of the offerings. I request them on the side. The staff are very friendly and amenable to requests. It's not cheap here but the ingredients are top quality and made to order. The hot salt beef "Polska" bagel is a revelation, the avocado and smoked salmon one I had today was superb. It gets busy at times and peaceful in the lulls. There is a Polish flavour to the food and the staff. There are also food sales of granola, chutneys, bread etc. I just think how great it is to see a village like this support such a well thought out business.

It would not be out of place in Islington, but is in the middle of Lane End! Well worth visiting.
