Took a long time to deliver, but food was delivered hot.

Good quality food, fast delivery. I recommend this food. The burger is great, the crispy potatoes and the chicken is delicious and juicy. I would repeat it again, my family and I were happy.

Sadly there are not many restaurants that deliver on customer service. Storia is the exception - all of the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. The food is simple but amazing. I had the steak with a salad last night and the steak melted in my mouth. My husband and I shared the antipasti and that was also very good - simple fresh ingredients put together well. Frangelico or Limoncello as a complimentary digestif was also a nice touch. You just don’t find many nice restaurants like this anymore!

I’ve been to Storia twice in June and both times were amazing! One time for dinner with some friends and the other for lunch with my sister. All of us adore the service and food! I recall my friend saying that it was the best carbonara he ever had! My favorite was the truffle arancini, definitely will order again next time. And the cocktails were a plus, just perfect, didn’t know that a restaurant in London could make such amazing cocktails! Can’t recommend enough!

Made an impromptu decision to eat out tonight and thought let’s try Shepperton Storia. Even though we’re local it was our first visit and what a lovely experience. I could wax lyrical about good ingredients, good wine and easy ambience but it was just great service and excellent meal. Anyone who’s not been yet really must. We will definitely be back.

Large chicken poppers ,these were the bottom of the pan ,over cooked and less than minimal.

The staff in Storia are genuinely exceptional. The maitre d is absolutely lovely and really professional. The waiting staff are excellent, good fun and really friendly. The restaurant decor is beautiful. The food is delicious too. Thank you all for another lovely evening, we will be back soon.

Frieda and her team looked after my mother and I superbly. The service was exemplary, the food wonderful (strongly urge that the mushroom risotto is put on the main menu in it's own right!) and the cocktail made for my mother was greatly enjoyed. (Also should go on the menu!) Great service, food and ambience, really enjoyed our meal...thanks all and until next time. :-)

Surprisingly good and a welcome upgrade on Prezzo. The menu is far more interesting, the food quality is great, service friendly and it offers excellent value even if the wines are slightly on the expensive side. You even get a lemon hello to finish off. With School of Spice next door, Thurlestones now offering Tapas on Thursdays and wine bar at weekends plus the choice of Thai and another two Indian restaurants Shepperton is finally becoming a foodie place. There are of course several takeaways too but we need more restaurants: we’ve lost a Chinese, and there’s room for many more cuisines. Let’s get the empty shops filled with fantastic food offerings for the local market.

This is a fantastic restaurant for both a casual & formal night out. My wife & I have been a few times now. Service & food excellent, mention to our waitress Victoria a lovely young lady, personable & engaging adding value to the experience.

Attended Sat 09 March with 5 friends. My Beef Ragu wasn't sparkling but the others all commented on how great their meals were, so I just chose the wrong meal. Issue was at payment when I have never felt so pressured into leaving a cash tip in my life. The girl who came to collect payment had brought a card machine and despite my fellow diners paying cash I decided to pay by card, which brought a great deal of moaning from her about card payments not amounting to decent tips. After some deliberation I put the whole £148.50 on my card and threw £25 cash in her direction. Atrocious service and attitude and a total contrast to her male colleague, an Italian guy who was politeness and helpfulness personified. All my friends concurred.

Placed an order at 9:07pm and had an estimated delivery time of between 9:45-10:05pm. At 9:50pm was still showing as being on the first step ‘Thank you for your order’. Wasn’t even marked as being prepared. Called the store and they said it would be 15mins. At 10:05pm, order was marked as being delivered, when in fact it didn’t turn up until 10:28pm. - with 4 Kellogg’s Nutrigrain bars as a way of apology.

Apparently this is a small chain, there are just five of them. We popped in pre Christmas as we had both worked late and we didn't want to cook. It was suprisingly good. There was nothing new or innovative on the menu, but what was there was done very well. Much better than being badly innovative! I ordered calamari followed by wild mushroom and truffle pizza. My husband ordered wild mushroom soup then gorgonzola and pear pizza. We passed on puddings. What I liked - the decor was smart and the staff were engaging and sassy. Too be honest, there was nothing I disliked, which is unusual for me as I am a tad curmudgeonly! I have found over the years that new chains are often outstanding in their early days, but then reach a tipping point when they expand so much that the focus goes from quality of standard to balance sheets and mediocrity. The Giggling Squid has fallen into this trap. Storia is in its excellent phase, I hope it stays there.

Don't, just don't, 2 of us with the 2 bob bits in our new house. Gona have to replace toilets soon.

The shops say it opens at 11am but at most times it doesn't open till gone 20mins past sometimes all the way up until half 11 and we end up standing out in the cold or rain waiting to come inside.

Lovely food in a lovely setting. Very attentive and helpful staff. A well paced meal in a calm environment . Could not fault in any way.

I’m addicted to the bbq spicy wings best I’ve ever had

Our first visit since in opened .. it was full capacity but the table arrangements are excellent .. lots of space between tables where they could have packed in more table but haven’t .. the quality of the food was outstanding as was our young waitress and the service in general ..couldn’t fault it in any way … will definitely go back ..

This new Restaurant in Shepperton is a welcome addition to eateries in our area. We had previously met up with some friends from Huntingdon at a Storia restaurant in Radlett in Hertfordshire and found that this new venue is part of the same group. The food wad excellent and the decor was very nice. Service was really good and friendly. Definitely will be going back there soon.

This place is fantastic. Great food, wine, decor and ambience. We had a special meal here as a couple and everything we ordered is delicious - so fresh. The service is also excellent, it feels like a family - we can’t wait to go back!

Staff great food poor wine cheap ..what is going on .wine 6 to 7 pound bottle of red 42 pound they charge us . . Come on 121 ponds for really bad wine and not great food . Once again staff are to good for this restaurant .

We visited Storia for the first time and our experience was delightful - we’ve already booked our next visit! The Restaurant was clean with beautiful interiors. The service was exemplary and they were attentive, caring and helpful. The food is freshly made with pizza dough, pastas and sauces made fresh every day. Every course was delicious and well prepared/presented. Storia is a cut above all other Italian Restaurants & highly recommend

It’s a fantastic new spot in Shepperton, with a superb menu and a wonderful overall experience. Went with a group of 8, and everything we ordered was top notch. Having travelled quite far in search of decent Italian food, to have this right on the high street is very special.

Had a fabulous lunch date at this news restaurant in Shepperton, the food was just divine. My husband had the Arancini to start, whilst I had the delicious calamari. The chicken milenese was very tasty to served with a homemade mefaldine. Service was efficient, smart and unobtrusive. Coffee and cannoli was also exceptional. Altogether a really lovely afternoon.

Our escalope Milanese and our steak were excellent, accompanied by a splendid italian rosé, and the staff were attentive and charming. What more could you ask for. We have already booked again !

We were all on tender hooks, waiting to see what Storia would bring to Shepperton, well we were not disappointed, the food and staff were brilliant. i had the Taglioni, which was so tasty and fresh, My Husband had the Cod, which look Fab too. The whole new furnishings give the restaurant a great up market feel which out the fuss, we went on Saturday night so it was good to get a feel how they would cope, and they did it very well. the staff looked smart in their outfits. We will def. be back for more FAB food. Keep it up.

To be honest, all us Sheppertonians were gritting our teeth at the new opening. Prezzo was fine, but as we know it was a chain, and we received as was expected from a corporate chain during its time at the later years. But now, all I can say is wow.. Storia is a breath of fresh air in shepperton’s lungs, it’s exactly what we needed here. I must commend the delicious food, as I’m told it’s very authentic and fresh, which is totally unheard of for the price point. It’s fine dining without the faff. And of course I must mention the manageress, Viola, she is most the sweetest and accommodating, with an infectious smile and attitude, she’s just the right amount of cheeky with a dash of respect for her guests and politeness. and as I was observing, I believe all the customers felt the same way me and my wife did. It’s apparent that her aura is what all the other staff are following, as the sheer respectfulness is shown in even little things, such as rushing to make sure the door is held open for us when we leave! It’s the little things and I believe that this restaurant will be an absolute success for years to come. I couldn’t choose a better menu, better management & staff. I’m honestly lost for words here, please do visit and tell those far and wide!!!!

Never had a bad experience with favorite. Foods better and cheaper than kfc even though it’s pretty much the same type of food.

Dry chicken, not crispy or crunchy. Ribs were also bland and tasted like they were from a packet. Chips were good as were the Mac and cheese bites. Won’t order again - sorry.

Decent chicken 🐔. Slightly more expensive than your local chicken shop but decent coating on the spicy wings which is what i tried with chips and beans which were good.

Paid for cheese for both burgers and only got it on one, not the first time they have done this..very annoying

I’m a big supporter of local business but the food here isn’t great. The chicken today was so so dry and my daughter’s strip meal was atrocious to the point I won’t use again as it’s now happened a couple of times. The guys are very friendly though!

I asked if the shop is halal and they both told me it’s halal and i proceeded to order chicken and ribs later I went on the website to find out they served me pork ribs seems they only care about making money and not their customers beliefs.

Combo meal arrived without chicken. Ice cream packed in same bag as hot food, therefore everything cold. Over an hour to deliver.

We placed our order at 18.05, with an advertised wait time of 25-40 minutes. After the order was accepted, we were given an estimated time of between 19.10 and 19.30. I had a call from the shop at 19.24 to apologise that they were very busy and we would get the order in 15 minutes. I then called the shop again at 19.59 to ask where the order was. The person said it would be there in three minutes. I explained to the person on the phone we would be complaining and requesting a refund. We have a diabetic in the house, and normally assess the initial waiting times (with some obvious allowance for extra time). This person started having a hypo because of having to wait so long to eat. We finally received the order at 20.12, with no apology from the delivery driver. They had also changed the status to delivered well over half and hour before we received the food, obviously to make it seem they kept to the timings. The food had obviously been in the car for a significant amount of time as everything was stone cold. It’s a shame because this shop had been our go to, but this was such an awful experience we feel like we cannot order again. Please don’t advertise one time frame and deliver an hour a half later- people rely on these times for medical reasons.

Order from these guys when I can as everytime I get the food its hot and amazing. Staff are great too as the last time I order they called me that they was running late did I still wanted the order to go through which I thought was excellent on the behalf which I did accept will definitely be ordering off them again I want ppl to order from them too

On the app it said 23-35mins. After ordering it then said 60-80mins which was very annoying. Fiery chicken burger was really nice (wouldn’t call it spicy though) but it was stone cold. Lettuce was crunchy and fresh which was big plus. Popcorn chicken had no flavour at all so I didn’t even eat those. Chips were delicious. Gravy was very bland and again, cold. Chips somehow were still hot. Ribs were really nice but again, cold! So they had gone quite hard. If I collected I’d order again but would never order for delivery which is a shame. I can only assume they don’t use the insulated bags as any other order in this weather still arrives hot?!

Nice food in favourite, clean and tidy place to eat. Probably the best chicken shop within a 10 mile radius. The only reason we don't eat here more is the price! It's more expensive than KFC and every other chicken shop I've been to, I don't understand why it is so expensive. I presume prices are dictated by head office! They should seriously look at them especially now in the cost of living crisis.

The chicken burger was very nice, as were the fries and gravy I ordered. However the 6 chicken strips my brother had were extremely dry and were tasteless, and they were also very expensive at £12.99 for just 6, no fries with them, just 2 tiny little dips that u would need just to get through 1 strip as they were just to dry and that’s it. He couldn’t even eat them as he couldn’t swallow them due to the dryness, we had to throw them in the bin as they were just to dry even when dipped in tomato sauce.

Order for the first time and wasn’t disappointed, chicken coating was crunchy and the chips not at all soggy 👍🏻 Great service too.

I have used these before and the food was good, but I’m afraid I had to throw away my chicken strips because they were dry. crispy and hardly any chicken , not good I’m afraid £40 spend down the drain ☹️

The rude man behind the counter swore at me after asking for no mayo then gave me mayo and he told me I didn’t ask for no mayo. The food was mediocre and overpriced 100% would not recommend.

Food was hot and tasty when arrived. Restaurant missed one item apple pie but promised to deliver it on my next order. Hot chicken wings were amazing. Definitely will order again highly recommended please try this restaurant you won't be disappointed.

I love this place, never an issue and the bbq wings and ribs blow my mind.

First time ordering from here in a while. Sad to see things haven’t changed. Quite pricey. Food items cold and despite asking for no Mayo on one of the burgers, it arrived with it. Was late in the evening and too hungry to mess about calling and waiting for new food.

I have never in my life experienced worse ribs, and how do you mess up chicken????? When the beans are the best part of a meal you know there's a serious problem. Most food got thrown away

Some of the combo order was missing I.e coleslaw and gravy. Chicken and fries were delicious and good quality, however, ribs on both meals very poor. All bone and skin/fat, no meat l, would not order combo again.

The standard pieces of chicken and the beans were good but everything else we ordered, including the chips, boneless chicken selection and ribs were very disappointing. We wouldn't order this again and will stick to KFC in future.

Rude staff. Food missing, so telephoned to enquire, but was sworn at almost immediately and the member of staff denied all responsibility. Shocked that people can be quite so rude when representing a brand. Avoid at all costs.

Food was ordered at 7.06, and was delivered just after 9pm, even though the app says it was delivered at 8.10 which it most certainly was not. It was cold and as like all chips, when microwaved, it was not very appetising

Fried chicken was pretty good, better than kfc. Popcorn chicken was very dry, guaranteed they were cooked earlier and left under a hot lamp.

This was our first time ordering food from Favourite Chicken. We ordered a variety of bits off the menu to get a good taste of what they do. The best part of our whole meal were the doughnuts we ordered - unfortunately I don’t think Favourite are able to take credit for them! The chicken pieces were also pretty good - nice flavour and 3/4 pieces seemed nice and fresh/juicy - only one was bone dry with no flavour and seemed like it had been sitting in the warming cupboard for a while. Unfortunately the rest of our food was a real disappointment - the ribs I ordered seemed over cooked, next to no meat on them (mainly made up of inedible gristle) and the BBQ sauce was ok - just not to my taste. As a result I ended up only eating 1/4 ribs total so very disappointed. The sides we ordered again were a let down - the beans we had were ok but the corn on the cob tasted off so only managed a few bites and the chips and onion rings were soggy - although a very generous portion. Overall I don’t think we will be returning (unfortunately) - quality of the food overall we just didn’t think was very good and made it a very expensive fast food chicken dinner with us only being able to enjoy not even half of the food that we ordered.

The food was of great quality. The chicken fillet burger was moist and full of flavour and the wings were good too as well as fries. The drinks were very cold too
