A cozy and charming place. Apart from that, the pizzas are exquisite, thin dough and with a lot of flavor. The authentic Italian pizza.

I have changed my review after taking the owners superior knowledge of Neapolitan pizza bases on board. Disappointed with the base I found it very stodgy although the toppings were very tasty, also the provola fritta was rather bland. My experience of a quality pizza is of one always cooked in a wood fired oven.

What to say? A shining gem! Pizza with buffalo mozzarella (without parmesan). Sardinian beer. Neapolitan pizza dough (cooked at a higher temperature than normal, home-made Italian pizzas) quality tomato that remains a little liquid. The pizza melts in your mouth!! Six star experience. Seriously the best pizza in the UK

Ive been here with my firends, asked for a table for 3 and they said they didnt have unless we had booked. We put a take away order and 10 minutes later they sat other people without booking as they said they had a cancelled table.. unfair, should have asked us first if we still wanted to dine in as we were there waiting.. tall lady with glasses was too rude and kept saying that we put a take away order and thats why..you can easily put the food in a plate istead in a pizza box my girl! Super simple!!! After we left the lady was keep talking with her colleagues about us! Very disappointed as the food is superb!

The the best Italian pizza in the vicinity. Made by italian chefs too! Right in front of you as well! I would`ve loved if the fourmagi(the 4 italian cheese pizza) were made with italian cheese and not the british equivalent but aside from that(It was still so good!) the whole thing is just lovely. One more thing. If you love italian strong espresso I can recommend it. It's not in the menu but it's been many years since I had so good coffee. Proper strong italian stuff. Prices are more than affordable. It's cheaper than than Takeaway pizzas for example. You`re looking at about 20 odd pounds per person.

Excellent pizza and very friendly service. The only negative I can think of is the restaurant has lots of hard surfaces and is quite noisy when busy.

Our first time in Chester, what a find - delicious pizza, great location and atmosphere with attentive staff - highly recommended and excellent value

We were celebrating my cousin's birthday and they knew already of this hidden delight. I did not. The truffle pizza was off the scale. Amélie the waitress was like an A to Z of information and helpfulness, infact she suggested my entire choices. Not enough words. Belissimo!

Very small an personal, food is fantastic and cooked to perfection could of eaten it again. Try the homemade tiramisu it's bliss . You will have to pre book to avoid disappointment at busy times.

The food and service both excellent, one of the best pizzeria we have visited, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent quality food and quick, efficient service.

Went here for the first time. Had 3 different pizzas between us and all were really nice. Generous toppings without being smothered. Cheese was nice. Dough was puffy but really airy and not heavy, lovely taste to it aswell. Staff were friendly. Nice simple pizza menu with a few salad/starters.

Just got back from Italy, wanted to try the "best pizza restaurant in England" as awarded, and it did NOT disappoint! Food was excellent and authentic, service was incredible (friendly, prompt, bonus is most spoke Italian), reasonably priced, and a great atmosphere in simple comfortable decor. Highly recommended 👌🏽

Oh my god! What can I say? It was perfect. Honestly the best pizza my boyfriend and I have ever had. Even thinking about it makes me hungry! It’s such a cute little restaurant and a calm atmosphere. I liked that they were playing modern music in their simplistic decor, it just felt really cosy. We got the garlic focaccia with mozzarella for a starter and then for mains: I had a ham and rocket pizza and my boyfriend had a margarita. Delicious. It was our anniversary and it was just so very special. Can’t wait to return!

2 years ago - early October 2023 I’ve been to Stile 7 or 8 times and the food is impeccable, on point service and absolutely delicious. Best pizza I’ve ate outside of Italy. The smaller menu and dedication to a quality dough and specific choice of ingredients is unmatched in Chester for sure. 25th October 2023 Tonight though the pizza was inedible and oily and generally disgusting. I’m hoping it was an off night, but, the food was plastic like and required a strong soap to get the smell off my hands.

We visited for the 3rd time yesterday evening and every time has been flawless. We arrived quite late last night without a booking and the girls working could not have been more friendly and accommodating to us and our two dogs. The pizza is absolutely amazing and the service was quick and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be back whenever we're in Chester!

This is a purely pizza restaurant although the choices are many and varied. There were 8 of us and the meals arrived not at the same time which was disappointing. The food was good and was well cooked and the staff were very friendly.

A friend and I called in here as we both fancied a pizza. It was delicious and well worth the money. The service was excellent too. Will be back again in the future

Best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy!

Probably the only place I've eaten where the terrible customer service is outweighed by fantastic food.

Looking for an Italian restaurant we found "Stile Napoletano". We were helped friendly and quickly. I ordered the Capricciosa. Well-stocked. But I still miss the real Italian crispy crust a bit. (I've been visiting family in Italy for 40 years. I've eaten a lot of pizzas). It's a little too bready. Then the Babá Napoletano. That was delicious. It could also be decorated a bit more cozily. But Stile Napoletano is definitely recommended.

Amazing pizza! Really tasty and filling. Just the right amount for a evening meal! Extremely welcoming staff!! Lovely and efficient service from them! Would recommend to anyone looking for some delicious pizza in Chester!

Don’t know why I waited so long to go here! Fancied a last minute dinner out with my daughter who’s 10. Heard lots of rave reviews for here so we popped in. Staff so polite and friendly. And oh my god honestly best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m annoyed I’ve waited 2 years to come! I’ll 100% be returning regularly 😃

True Italian pizza with friendly Italian service Clean & tidy restaurant

They have a very basic menux, not much to choose from. When I ask for a decent common beer like Peroni they didn’t have any, what they have is probably some cheap beer you never heard of. If you ask for soft drink they bring to you just a can of coke (no glass with ice) and charge you 30p worth (bulk buy) can for £3. The so-called pizza has a huge crust like ring of balun and in the middle, you have some eatable area. I think, it gives the illusion that you have good size pizza and to cut the pizza they don’t give the pizza cutters they give you steak knife as you have ordered a steak. If you ask for peperoni, they give you salami as it is the same thing, they treat people like we are idiots. When I asked for pepper and salt the pepper grinder did not work it was joke. Overall, it didn’t feel like you are eating at the restaurant but some makeshift room. They didn’t even try to hide the extractor fan pipe running along the inside of the shop. To my opinion it is not worth eating at places like that because they are not given you something authentic just a cheap food in a basic room. Only one thing good about the place is the decoration is so basic, it is easy to clean. If you care about what you eat and your money you should avoid this place.

This is an easily missed superb pizza restaurant on Watergate Street. Mostly busy due to the excellent pizza on offer. However we enjoyed the Caprese salad as a starter to enjoy an excellent Parmigiana . We then shared a delicious Margherita pizza with salami. Very good Ichnusa Italian beer as well. Dont miss out !

The best Neapolitan style pizza I have had outside Italy. Light, baked beautifully and every bite was delicious. Beautiful sparking red to go with it.

Thankfully it was a nice evening as we made the mistake of turning up on a Monday evening, without a reservation, to find the place fully booked. We managed to get one of the pavement tables which was absolutely fine. The service was lovely and the pizzas were delicious. Pricing was very reasonable.

Don’t bother trying this place if you have any dietary requirements. Front of house waitress did her best to help but was being let down by the management staff. Not prepared to be flexible and went back on promises that were made. Other than that, the food was ok, but nothing to write home about.

A magnificent meal and 10/10! The pizzas were so tasty and the lemon sorbet is something you must try. Special thanks to Eleonora who made it a memorable experience!!

I’ve travelled the world. I’ve eaten pizza. I can honestly say this was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The base was cooked to perfection, the sauce was full of flavour and the toppings were exquisite. Try it for yourself. If you love pizza, you won’t be disappointed.

I came here for a meal for my sister's hen party and the staff were really attentive and patient with such a big group of us. We stayed until closing and one super kind waitress even moonlighted as our personal photographer! The pizza was delicious and everyone enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend.

Another return visit after a great experience. This time the pizza was as soggy/ un cooked and the service was too. The waitress apologised for the service, no questions about the food though hence the need to write a negative review. We will give this place time to sort themselves out before returning. May be the are trying to satisfy the deliveries rather than focusing on their customers? Lots of delivery people at the door, not a good look.

Nduja pizza was good. When I rang to order for collection the lady on the phone was quite rude. When I went in the restaurant to collect it was very busy which is always a good sign. Lady on the phone was no longer rude and welcomed me in. You can see the chef cooking the pizzas fresh too.

It was my husbands birthday, and as we made our way through the streets of Chester, the smell emanating from Stile Napolentano was impossible to resist. My husband was blown away with the quality and excellent service that we received. They even offered him a complimentary dessert to celibrate his birthday, but we were too full. We accepted limonchello liquor for both of us instead.

One of the best pizzerias in Europe! Pizza chef and owner Giacomo, from Ischia, has won many awards and just been selected by '50 Top Pizza Europa' in the excellent category. His authentic Neapolitan pizzas are superb and unsurprisingly most of his clientele are Italian. This adds to the atmosphere as indeed does the fact all his staff are Italian. Nino, his pizza chef, ably assists Giacomo. Eleanora, his manager, is friendly and efficient and she in turn is assisted by Daiana. On the last occasion I visited I selected the piquant 'nduja pizza and a bottle of Gragnano sparkling red wine (a traditional choice with Neapolitan pizzas). I was not disappointed!

This is the best pizza in Chester we've found in nearly 3 years of living here. The service is always friendly and relaxed. It's great value, too. It's so good we chose to eat here for our last meal in Chester the night before moving away.

Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. The Margherita pizzas are so good, you can taste every flavour on the base including the oregano and olive oil. What's so interesting about this place is the fact that you can watch your pizza go in a big pizza oven. The pizza crust is by far the best part of the pizza since it is cooked in a pizza oven. I would love to go here again at some point, and I've already recommended this place to my family and friends. Keep up the good work! Thank you!

Went with some friends to dine in on a Saturday. The pizza was delicious, however after 45 minutes, when we asked for the dessert menu, we were not-so-subtly informed that the next customers for our table were here, so we decided to go elsewhere for dessert! Also, the beer could've been more chilled and the door was left open so it was a bit draughty. Overall we'll probably try other pizza places in Chester before going back.
