Yet another overpriced chippy with yarmouth prices selling Wentworth food it's terrible I say go down Daves you'd be better off doing that

Great large cod and chips, light crispy batter, not greasy, tasty chips, cooked to order.

The best fish and chips we’ve had for years. Succulent fresh fish, crispy batter and delicious chips. So many fish and chip shops do awful chips that are either over cooked or soggy and greasy these were perfect every time. We visited 3 times over our holiday and every time the food was exceptional

Food was delicious. However, they dropped our written order and ended up service 5 people who ordered after us. Unfortunately the building caught fire last night so is now closed.

So we had fish and chips as our one of holiday meal and it was so good we went back again at the end of the week. We dinned in as there happened to be a space become available but would have happily walked the 2 mins to the beach to eat them there. The portions were very big and the fish had chunky flakes which we don't get back home. It was so much cheaper than at home and by far the best value for money meal I had all week. The owners chatted to us while we waited and seemed so passionate about what the do. Will be back there next year on day one of our holiday.

The best fish and chips we have had in ages!

Had a weekend away and paid a spontaneous visit as it’s close to the beach. Lovely to be able to sit inside and eat a delicious cod and chips. Great food and friendly service.

What a treat finding this place! Perfectly cooked fish the batter was so nice great portion sizes and a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere! And tea made as it should be not the weak stuff you find so often, a real gem and I’ll certainly be back regularly!

Went in here for a family tea before heading to the Theatre. We chose it based on recommendations from a local and the reviews, but I think they have had a bit of an off-day. Fish selection was limited against the sit on the menu - only cod and haddock available. My wife is a lover of Rock which was on the menu but sadly not available so she ended up having cod. I had the haddock and our daughter had scampi. The scampi was reported to be good, however my wife and I both found the fish to be a bit on the soggy side, as were the chips sadly. They all tasted fine, but they lacked the crispness that makes for really good fish and chips. We'd likely try elsewhere on our next visit, which is a shame as others have clearly had better experiences there.

We had some wonderful fish and chips for our lunch. The portions were a good size, the chips were freshly cooked and the fish was cooked to perfection with lovely crispy batter and this was accompanied by a steaming cup of tea. The service we received was swift and courteous. We will return when next in Sheringham! Thankyou.

Fish and chips were fabulous. Freshly cooked and the chips were the best we’ve tasted. Fish perfectly cooked and batter was crisp and light. Even my cup of tea was perfect! Will definitely revisit as we are Norfolk locals.

Called in for fish and chips before setting off for home. So so pleased we did. They were the best fish and chips ever. We ordered Plaice and chips. It was so fresh and tasty. The batter it was cooked in , wow, have never tasted batter like it. Usually leave most of it but today I ate every last piece. The chips were piping hot to the end. Would thoroughly recommend. Went back and thanked the staff for producing a fantastic meal for us to enjoy.

Food and service excellent, even on a very busy Sunday lunchtime. Friendly staff, working hard and efficiently. We had a large cod and chips with mushy peas and ate in. Great atmosphere created by the orders for take away being communicated to staff verbally in the visible kitchen area.

Got the urge for Fish and Chips by the seaside , so checked for recommendations on-line. Stevenson were recommended and they certainly didn't disappoint ! The Fish and Chips were freshly prepared , the staff were very friendly and eating our meal overlooking the coast made a perfect afternoon. Highly recommended!

Awful experience in here tonight - very rude staff who did not accommodate my order of what I wanted. They did not put salt and vinegar on the chips, despite asking. Quite an old school styled cafe on the High Street. 6 tables inside, but the sea front is only a short walk away for view to enjoy. Cooked to order when I was there. The chips were OK, not much flavour which is surprising, and the malt vinegar seemed watered down (truly a shame) but the fish, which was cod, was perfect. Lovely light batter, non greasy, and cooked spot on. The cod flaked as it should and full of flavour. It was recommended to me to check out and overall I'm glad I went.
