We called in for breakfast/brunch, having been recommended it by someone local. Staff were lovely, we were welcomed warmly. Lots of food choices. Breakfast was lovely as was the cawl and the dessert options. Would definitely recommend the Station House Inn.

Amazing little find whilst on holiday....made to feel so welcome, a group of 8 of us plus 2 dogs. Food was great and service brilliant. We will be back!

Just had a cracking lunch at the Station house Whitland. The food was excellent good quality. The service was very good. And a cracking pint of Double Dragon for £3.40

Staying in the area and Whitland was the nearest town. We originally called in for a pint and a vino, however the menu looked very inviting so we opted to have some food. I opted for the beef and ale pie with chips, I believe my wife had a fish dish. I am so glad we did. This is possibly the best pub meal I had in the past few years, the chips were fried correctly, soft, fluffy, beautiful and the pie was delicious. My wife's meal was also exemplary. We went away for a few days and then we decided to come back for some more food. I am so glad that we did, I wondered whether to have the pie again but I decided to have the lamb pie this time and I'm glad I did; it was delicious. All I can say is is the Station is an example of a pub that does pub food to the best level, if you are in the area have a meal there as you will not be disappointed. They also offer excellent real ales and my wife had wine at very reasonable prices. And on the Monday night it was an absolute bonus to be greeted in Welsh by the lady behind the bar, top marks for the Station. An absolute quaint feature is the railway station illuminated sign and speaker telling people of the trains arriving at the platform opposite the pub. You must visit this place!

Just popped in here for a pre train bevy and ended up getting drawn into a bar chat about the beer and trying out quite a few of the local ales. There’s a real passion here. And massive bar snack portions. Just love this place. The pic is obviously after I’d been at it! Definitely recommend if you’re in Whitland.

called here yesterday with no booking barman was very nice and accommodating found us a seat with no bother we both had a beautiful gammon and chips lunch with lots of sides very quick service and meal was lovely and presentable would definitely recommend this pub

Tidy enough boozer the food is very good and friendly locals staff are helpful the landlord is a bit dry and has a tendency to short change you after you've had a few pints so look out for that.

Met with three other friends for a catch up lunch. This is a great pub which always has really well kept (and changing) real ales. The food is standard “pub grub” but is plentiful and tasty. The service was good and the staff are friendly. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable which makes you realise the mark up on other pub’s meals. All in all a great experience.

Visited twice on our holiday to Pembrokeshire, had a very warm welcome by locals and staff. Had such a nice, tasty and good quality meal the first time, we went back again. Lovely warm open fire as well and the dog loved sitting in front of it.

Visited twice while on holiday in the area with our 'bear' of a dog and both times received a warm welcome from all the staff. Food was excellent, nothing fancy but good wholesome food, they even gave the dog some sausages and a bowl of water! We will certainly call again when in the area.

Most of the other pubs shut for food we was recommended this place my opinion normal pub food. I had a tuna sandwich they did this for me without the mayo which was nice of them garnished with a little salad & crisps. Husband had Cod & chips

Visited today with our 2 dogs after a long walk, when we went into the pub we were greeted by really friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful. We ordered the drinks and got the menus including Gluten free the pie was amazing and the Gluten free chicken curry was beautiful, all in all a lovely place with lovely food and dog friendly if your in the area it’s well worth a visit

Extra vegan menu with several tasty options, all GENEROUSLY supplied. Draught Guinness (vegan). Service is good day and night (even when busy) with friendly well established owners who involve themselves in community events. Beer garden and an undercover area. Small quiet side room available. Pool table and darts. Log fire in winter. Newspapers and sport TV. Next to the bus stop and just across from the train station, where there is a regular service from Carmarthen and all the branches off to the other destinations west of Whitland. All to make it easy to leave the car at home and be a returning visitor.

From the moment we walked in the friendly atmosphere was lovely, we were met with a smile and made to feel welcome . Sunday lunch was plentiful and very tasty I would highly recommend popping in if you are in the area

Popped in after a day trip to Cardiff. the Menu was just about the right size and featured local dishes as well as honest pub grub. I can recommend the Faggots, Delicious!

3 couples visited The Station House a few times over the Bank Holiday weekend last month and all had a terrific time. The landlord Mike made us feel extremely welcome as did all of the team working there.Drinks were top notch especially the Guiness and Gin, plus the food was very good as well - all very tasty.We will be back again and we all have no doubt another very warm welcome and enjoyable visit awaits all.Thanks Mike and Team

This pub become our local whilst on holiday always a friendly welcome great atmosphere always full of locals. We didn't eat here but the meals we saw being brought out looked pretty good. We'll miss calling in after a day touring round this beautiful area

Visited 5/6 times whilst on holiday in the area. I had emailed beforehand 2 check if they show the football on Sky Sports as my hubby and mum in law love 2 watch certain games. I received an email back to say yes and that our dog was also welcome. They went to watch 4 matches and they were made to feel welcome in a pub that was predominantly locals. Myself, my son and our dog also went twice and we all enjoyed a meal. Food was plentiful prob 2 much even 4 us but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We visited a few other pubs but this was our fav because it had a friendly atmosphere, good food and it was traditional. We shall return Thank You for your hospitality.

We had been in the bar a couple of days earlier for a drink and a look at the menu so we returned at about 5:30pm one evening to give the food a try. The bar was quiet with just a few locals in having a drink.

I took my sister & her friend along with my nice & her two grand children for lunch here . The staff could not be more helpful. The menu caters for every taste . We had to wait for the food as it did not come prepackaged & micro waved . It was good pub grub everyone had a good time. The bill was very reasonable. I will definitely go there again when I go to see my sister.

We popped in for breakfast. The food was nice and everything was in order. The hosts were kind and friendly. Frequented by a lot of locals rather early in the morning it proves that it’s a place appreciated by many.

Had dinner here as we are staying in a holiday cottage near by. We had a very warm welcome from behind the bar and we were assured that the dogs were no problem. The landlord popped across to offer a water bowl for the dogs. The food we had was very good, I had the Welsh beef curry and my wife the chicken curry, was good and there was plenty of it. I would say their menu is honest pub grub. The beers were local real ales and the cost was very reasonable. Overall, a tribute to Welsh hospitality towards their English visitors. Many thanks.

Always excellent food here at a very sensible price

Too loud at weekends music wise. Full of youngsters that look to young to be drinking, also workmanand local alcohollics. Food nice but typical pub grub and not more than that. Based in Whitland (I call it Shitland) those that have been to the town will understand why. I would go there but only to avoid the other local pubs.

Stop here with family on the way to Bluestones. Lovely old fashion pub. The food was perfect homemade grub. I had the pie and chips and it was fantastic. Party of seven had no complaints. The service was very good, really lovely to my children (even when one of them was causing a lot of havoc!) If we are down that way again, we will be back.

Fab family dinner with children. As adults we had the ‘All Day Breakfast’ which we struggled finish (which tells you how much food you get!) and at around £6 is excellent value for money. Food was delicious and enjoyed by all 😊

If the weather is nice my 2 dogs and I will always stop at the Station House to enjoy their lovely beer garden. It never disappoints. From friendly staff and locals to delicious food. I had the pleasure of burger with cheese which was juicy and tasty. The young man behind the bar (with glasses) is very pleasant and the lovely young lady with the long hair made us feel so welcome. Me and my husband come here quite often for a midweek meal just the 2 of us. Always get such a lovely welcome from the staff. Food is very reasonably priced and you get generously sized portions.

We popped in for a quick tasty meal and were not disappointed the steaks were awesome didn’t have to wait long but all greasy and excellent value for money. Would not advise for children. Great pub with plenty of atmosphere.

I have had Breakfast here a few times over the last few months and every time the food has been really great. There are a few Breakfast choices and I find the medium one is enough for my appetite. The food is served very quickly after you order and is one of the nicest cooked Breakfasts I've been lucky to taste. I've also visited a few times on a Sunday afternoon for a quiet pint and with Five handpumps on offer a fan of Real Ale like myself is spoilt for choice!! The Ale is in excellent condition and the Pub is also Good Beer Guide listed. Deservedly so in my opinion!! On my last visit I had a pint of Sharps Sea Fury. It was amazing!! Keep up the great work!!

Having read other Trip Advisor reviews we decided to try this place for a Sunday roast lunch whilst in the area on holiday even though it meant a 45 mile round trip. We booked and were told that having chosen what we wanted on the phone we could turn up at whatever time we wished (to15:45 at the latest).This took the pressure off having to be there at a specific time.

Randomly picked this out for somewhere for lunch while staying in the area. Such a lovely warm welcome for me and my little ones. The kids cleaned their plates which always makes it 5 stars for me, and I got to try some traditional welsh noms that you won't find on chain pubs menus. If you're visiting this wonderful corner of the earth then well worth a visit to the Station house.

We have been here on many occasions and have never been disappointed The atmosphere and the staff are great and very helpful indeed. We had great steaks and gammon with all the trimmings, very generous portions and the quality perfect. We also had in the morning breakfast rolls great quality and service again. If you are in the area it's a must visit

Superb local pub right next to the train station.Great selection of drinks,including some real class real ales in top condition ,try the Courage Directors !First class pub food available all day.The locals are very friendly and there is a great atmosphere there at lunchtime.The landlord Mike is a genial host ,on top of his game,matching business with looking after the community.This is not a theme pub or a disco pub ,this is a real pub!

The pub restaurant was clean and professionally run with a good selection of traditional pub meals on the menu. The food was well cooked with more than adequate quantities for our appetites.

First time to visit Station House. We received a warm welcome from the lady serving behind the bar. The meals we chose were liver and onions and lasagne. The food was tasty and very good value for money. Would definitely return when next visiting Whitland.
