Great food and atmosphere. The kids absolutely loved the grub and Pallavi was an excellent server. She attended to all our requests and even let our daughter help her which gave us 2 minutes of peace 😜

The food and ambience were great. The menu is extensive to suit everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Have been for Sunday lunch there many times and the food has always been great. Not yesterday unfortunately. The waiter insisted on taking all 6 of our orders from memory rather than taking a note, and as he walked off I said that it was a certainty that he would miss something. He did. All of the side orders, which we eventually had to cancel as we were mid way through mains and still no sign. My roast was not great at all. The potatoes were hard and undercooked, the Yorkshire puddings were like sponge and the gravy like water. Really really disappointing. I told the waiter how unimpressed I was and he did give us a round of drinks on the house. It’s a real shame especially as the food is not cheap either.

Truly terrible roast. The beef was inedible. The gravy was watery and the potatoes were so pale and anemic that I doubt they had seen an oven let alone beef drippings. The worst roast I’ve ever had and truly disappointing

I booked the ‘semi-private space with capacity up to 20 people’ for 20 people for my birthday. The picture on the website for this space is of the Signal Box room (slightly separated from the pub). I had this booking confirmed via email. When I arrived we were told our space was tables within the restaurant. I showed the staff my booking confirmation for a private space and expressed that I was disappointed as this was not what I booked and we were not eating. There was another party within the Signal Box so it had clearly been double booked. The staff did not offer any apology or explanation which was very disappointing so we had no choice but to sit in the restaurant. Whilst I understand that mistakes in booking can be made I thought this was poorly handled by staff as I would have preferred they apologised for this mistake.

We arrived at 10am on Sunday February 18th. We were about to catch a train to the Midlands and had decided to have a breakfast before travelling. We were told that serving breakfast finished at 10am. We have frequently had breakfasts here on a Sunday and were not aware there had been a change. As a business it seems a poor decision.

Very good service. There was a timing mistake with the food arrival , but the manager was quick to apologise and sort out the problem and offering us a few drinks , The food was good and tasty . Only problem was one of group is gluten intolerant but there was only steak and then ice cream for her to eat. Can a few gluten free dishes be added please.

It has been hit and miss for me for quite a while in the station pub, I have drank in there for 40years so am disappointed as it is my local. The pub is unkempt the sofa which we were asked to keep our dogs away from is disgusting.. and today I went to the toilets and not a single piece of toilet tissue in sight and when the tissue was put in there it was just put on the side where there are not proper toilet tissue holders, I find this awful..infection control right out the window. For the price we pay for drinks i would expect you can afford decent toilet roll holders. I have spoken to last manager with no signs of improvement. We came in today to eat as well, but changed our minds, i feel staff should have some kind of uniform I do not want to keep going else where as it is my local and I have always liked it in there. I love the Station Hotel. Repeat booking. They are welcoming and the room is lovely in a pretty bit of SE London. They do roasts all day on Sunday. We went at 5:30pm. The service was good and the ambience lovely. My only issue was that on the latest visit the food wasn’t hot. My beef was lukewarm warm. Even the roast potatoes were luke warm warm so I imagine it had been ready to serve 10 minutes earlier.

we had booked a table of four to watch the football. I had downloaded the app prior to attending, but for some reason it would not accept my credit card. Fortunately it accepted my husbands. Teething problems re ordering food and drink as you have to go through the list of items to find what you want. One of the staff did come over and help with the food order. Not a good system at all.there were issues with the Wifi and eventually in the second half - England v Germany everything went and those left in the pub resorted to watching on their phones. We were told we could stay however, there was little point as they could not serve food, drinks or accept payment as all systems had gone down. This also affected the hotel. Fortunately we are local and were able to get home in time to see England score the 2 goals.Lessons to learn - the pub need to have systems in place for such events as this. Having been closed for so long due to Covid, the money they could have made from the football, Tennis etc. has been lost.

Just want to say thank you to all the staff at this lovely hotel which has been refurbished to a very high standard, my friend and I really enjoyed our stay, the bed is so comfortable, the room was just the right size for us and spotlessly clean with an amazing shower and bathroom and very quiet, we had a fan which was ideal given it was extremely hot weather, a nice coffee machine and large bottle of complimentary water was a nice touch too, breakfast was amazing I asked for extra poached eggs which I got, and a lovely vegetarian/vegan brekky for my friend, parking was on the street which was payable online for only two hours free after that , which was easy to do with the help from staff (not technology savvy) close to the station, we were doing trips down memory lane so walked a lot everywhere is accessible by local transport anyway not that we used it, thank you Becky (manager/owner)you are lovely and look forward to staying again.. soon

We went there and the staff didn't even properly know the name of the app. No barcode to download it so we need to ask the staff again. Once downloaded you need to register and if you exit the app to check the code sent on your mail you need to go through the registration process again. We left frustrated without even drink....this place ain't going to make money this way

Staff constantly either not wearing face masks or wearing them with mouth or nose showing. Even after being asked by customers the staff still did not comply.If the staff ignore the legal requirements to wearing face coverings I can only assume that they have the same casual attitude to food hygiene .Because of this, neither I or my family will never again use this pub or restaurant.

Went to pub with three adults and 4 kids for Sunday lunch. It’s a lovely big venue and felt very clean and nicely laid out but the service was so slow. It took over 20 mins to see the kids menu and when we did it only had three options on it! We were also disappointed that when the children’s mash arrived it was not very four year old friendly. It had leeks and green veg crushed into it so it had quite a strong taste which put them off. Staff were nice but service needs to be quicker and the experience for children visitors needs to be considered.

So we arrived with a planned booking. We were advised to order on the app, so we did. The food arrived didnt match what we ordered. The waiter confirmed with the kitchen and it was wrong kn the app. No offer to change/ replace or refund and joys of the app you pay immediately so couldn't refuse to pay. Our dessert order was also brought out incorrectly. The food itself was mostly nice, chips underdone and fish had alot of bones which csnt be helped but was off putting. The staff were efficient at bringing out drinks promptly however lacked customer service when handling issues such as the above. Would only go again for drinks

I've been going to this restaurant before lockdown, often. But on my first visit back post lockdown, I think it might be my last.From the hostess who dismissed our every call to her (with a finger and she never returned), to the very dry, uneaten pork chop. The restaurant wasn't busy so being ignored was ï.I went to the bar to try and talk to the 'manager' who just barked 'you can't be here'I spent £70+ on food we barely ate with terrible service in a half empty restaurant

We had eaten here in the garden a couple of weeks ago and the service wasn't bad, although the only veggie/vegan non-burger main course was an inedible pea risotto. We tweeted the pub to complain about the risotto and ask for an alternative but they didn't bother to respond. This time we were in the pub and the service was appalling - they really need to get more staff as the waiting time for drinks must be hurting their profits as well as frustrating the customers. The plant burgers are not bad but it would be good to have a veggie/vegan alternative other than the aforementioned pea risotto. My wife had two starters instead of a main: the hummus was good but came with a huge stack of not very fresh sourdough bread, and the hummus fries came with a sauce that was quite unpleasant. We won't be coming here again until we hear that the service has improved and the menu has changed!

It’s a lovely place and the staff are really nice but the food alas is disappointing. First time I’ve had a meal out in months - ordered the hot smoked salmon salad - tasteless, mushy and not much salmon, I ended up leaving most of it, it needed some flavour and some love - my husband and son had hamburgers in a cardboard box which they said were quite nice but bit stingy on the chips. But the drinks outside were nice! (Once we negotiated the app ordering - nightmare).

Visited over three nights whilst visiting our son. Hither Green has a village feel about it and the hotel is a little gem in the centre. Our room was a very good size and the one breakfast we had there was excellent. Plenty of free overnight parking at the weekends. We will use it in the future.

After many months it was great to be back inside.Service was great, all drinks ordered and paid through the app, and delivered with a (masked) smile. Only criticism: there will be an increased inspection of pubs to ensure everyone follows the rules, any persistent offenders will be closed down. Please ensure everyone wears a mask when they leave their chairs.

We had an outside hut for 6 and cannot fault the service or food, prices slightly higher than average but just a relief to get back out. Hut had a heater and fully protective of weather.

We’ve been going to The Station pub for a while and always enjoyed their food. We were very excited to go back tonight to celebrate the return of indoor dining and support our local community. I must say it came with shock and (great) disappointment to see that they are now charging £16 for a fish&chips...!!! Bill came for over £40 for 2 fish&chips and two drinks (beer and soft drink). I’m sorry but NO! Sadly we will not dine here again, it’s unacceptable!

We've been eating here for years, and this was our first time back since lockdown. Seating in the outside patio was spacious. While it felt very strange to order and pay through the app, everything worked well. While nothing on the menu particularly grabbed me, I ordered the crab salad for starter and had the pea risotto for main; the others had the chicken pie and salmon niçoise. We were not disappointed - all were generous servings and well presented; the salmon particularly good. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our meal over, we got up and left, having settled the bill via the app. It all felt very strange and a bit naughty not to have asked for the bill!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Station Pub who accomodated myself and two friends on Saturday 1st May from around 18:00 onwards. The lady who I think was the manager(?) was so lovely and every other member of staff (chef and bar) were very friendly and gave the pub a naturally really nice atmosphere to be in. It must be challenging for all staff because of this big rush after lockdown, but they did the pub very proud. I can't remember leaving but I know the three of us had a great time!!! Also the fish & chips was so delicious
