Starbucks in Peterborough

Nice quiet place to enjoy a bite to eat and excellent coffee.

Called in for quick coffee whilst on the road. My weekly treat. I dont know how people who work in a coffee place can make such a bad coffee. My Cappuccino was just luke warm milk and not even drinkable. A huge dissapointment and a waste of money. By the time I realised I had been served an undrinkable coffee, I was back on the road again.

Ordered two pumpkin spice flavoured lattes, received two plain lattes. £14 is an extortionate price for two medium coffees that an empty coffee house couldn’t get right.

Starbucks is Starbucks ,no difference, probably would choose Costa though,if I had a preference.

Shocking for a Starbucks. Place was filthy dirty, dust and rubbish everywhere. Server didn't acknowledge me for 3 mins after I walked in (I was only customer). Not what you expect

Popped in at 7am this morning on route to Norfolk from Derbyshire. Ordered a toasted sandwich & hot drink. The tray I picked up was dirty so got another from underneath the pile & went and sat down. Clear the place had decorating work taking place. Everything was covered in dust, floors tables, chairs, items on sale. I then visited the ladies to find that in a state too. Filthy. Think I will have to find an alternative place to stop.in future. Disgraceful that the place hadn't been cleaned before they opened.

Could do better, furniture old, dirty, needs replacing, sticky surfaces. Would not go to a Starbucks again

It's a Starbucks over priced for what you get. Also it wasn't that clean especially the toilets.

The problem with Starbucks and this one is no different you have to order a mocha extra hot just to get a hot drink if you don't your drink is always lukewarm

I am disappointed in my first time at Starbucks. I used to see the name written on the coffee in commercials, but here they said they won't do it because they don't have anything to write with. An unimpressive and unremarkable cafe.

Usual Starbucks standard, quickly served, friendly staff and coffee as expected

Uninterested staff. Tables looked like they needed a good clean. Toilets needed a bloody good clean.

Coffee tasted very weird. A burnt chemical taste...def something wrong. If we weren't already driving away diwn the A605 I would have taken the coffees back.

Accessibility in a wheelchair is very poor. You have to move chairs and stools in order to get through.

didn't give me one of the two muffins ordered, blondies tasted like blueberry and double chocolate chip frapp was disgusting had no chips in, both frappes came with no whipped cream and were made with way too much ice

No drive-through. Isual fare to eat. One staff on at 9am on Sunday.

I use this Starbucks several times a week, most weeks. The staff are lovely, helpful, and the atmosphere is great. I am Always met with a smile and the place is nice and clean.

Nice to visit a relatively quiet coffee shop for a shop. Free ample parking too.

Wouldnt know what it was like as it was Friday, closing time advertised as 7pm. Yet arrived at 6.45pm and it was closed.

Not overly friendly staff, but did her job well enough.. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, especially for a quiet drink with a friend..

Is it possible to go wrong by going to a Starbucks? Not for me it isn’t, and this one is perfectly okay too. A very welcome break halfway between Leicester and Kings Lynn, where there aren’t too many places available to stop at.

Don’t know how to make custom drinks. Maybe if the staff spend more time serving and less time on their phones that might help. A complete embarrassment to the Starbucks brand.

Coffee overpriced like everywhere. There is no food, only expensive empty sandwiches and less then 1 bite sugar cakes 🙄 before slice of cake used to be the size like now 4-6 in one 😃

Service abysmal - waited at the counter for a good 5/10 minutes before even being acknowledged by the barista, despite it being practically empty. Whilst another staff member was doing what I believed was a "stock-check" (refilling biscuit containers and taking photos?) right in front of me, again, no acknowledgement of my existence that I was there or letting her colleague know that I was waiting to be served. Literally no communication or interaction between staff members, very poor atmosphere. Be warned also if you use the toilet facilities, chances are there is no toilet roll available (I think it's BYO). Drinks / food, overpriced and pretentious, poor quality, as expected from Starbucks so nothing unusual there.

Starbucks these days are defined by their staff. This is a rude one … not recommended

Coffee was OK, panni was no where near as good as Costa, service was slow because of the staff talking to each other, no atmosphere.

Drinks were as expected, but some staff missed the memo about service with a smile 😂😂

Not up to usual standard but still Starbucks!

Had to queue for over 15mins then wait another 10 for coffee. Acoustics so bad you couldn't hear the customer assistant or she you. Late with my food order so coffee was cold by time I got it.

The lady who served us was so offensive towards my mother in law today. Starbucks website doesn't allow customer complaints contact so I have placed a negative review here. So we ordered our drinks and my MIL's starbucks app had kicked her out, we'd spent a lot of money as was buying for the whole family so we wanted the points. Mum tired to log in quickly as she knew there was a que but the lady serving kept getting sarcastic with mum, saying things like there's a que and having a nasty tone saying what Internet are you on, my Internet fine in here etc. There was simply no need for this attitude. This woman had black hair, fake eyelashes, fake tan. The other lady making the drink however was lovely, with dyed redish hair on the ends. She was so helpful and nice after probably seeing the bad attitude of the other staff member.

Good for a quick bite and delicious coffee. Seating area is nice and clean and has a laid back atmosphere

Staff wise pretty friendly, food wise poor plant/vegan options, which consisted of 1 solitary breakfast bap on the shelf, which is getting ridiculously expensive. Toilets not the cleanest but according to my other half the brown sugar oat coffee and vegan breakfast burger were very good.

There never seems to be napkins available to use. The decor in the toilets is very claustrophobic and dark. Your cups are far too heavy, my poor elderly folk couldn't even lift their drink. Maybe a rethink is needed. Staff were accommodating when I suggested a takeaway cup to pour intro

Got my order wrong and didnt realise until i was half way down the road. Very disappointing, not sure how/why they put syrup in my Americano will not be back. The food is also not worth the incredibly high prices.

No gluten free products at all . Not expecting any.

Starbucks seem to always offer the best quality coffee. Caramel macchiato is as lush as it gets for me. If syrup/sweet isn't your cup of coffee - a flat white is always a good shout. I have had numerous flat whites from other coffee establishments and very few can compare to Starbucks!

I mean...an amazing place and I managed to get a cup of tea here...not sure if thats allowed...it was hot and wet...good for me.....👍

Lady who works here on her own is very accomplished and excellent server. She deserves a promotion. We came here Sat 28th on morning very impressed.

I'm known by all the staff in this shop I've been. Going to starbucks now for about 6 years. The staff are great happy and friendly, only thing I am getting fed up with is when I but some good be it a pizza or slice there is always a very hard crusty corner almost stale feeling and you can't eat it and end up having it chuck it away. The.anount these snacks are they shouldn't be like this....

For stuff that was going out of date today, I expected more for my money! It as ok I suppose.

It was Starbucks. The food was as one expected fresh enough and a fair variety. Sadly, though it was 31st October, they were out of ingredients for the seasonal Latte. The staff were apologetic and charming unfair to complain to them about an error made remotely on a much higher salary. However if, like I, you enjoy the seasonal coffee flavours don't make a special trip; the staff at the front end do care and look after you but those in suits far away obviously don't.

Good coffee, beans always ground fresh for every cup, unlike Costa where the ground beans sit in the hopper going off all day.

First time I've ever had a Starbucks and what is the fuss about? How did these ever get so popular? Coffee is weak and not tasty. Aldi instant is better coffee than the Americano I had here. Worst Americano in my life. Service was dire. I was third in the queue and I got my drinks 15 minutes later. Don't bother.

Stopped for comfort break. Of course hot chocolate don't be afraid to ask for how you want it.i find it to hot to drink so always ask for a top up of cold milk.staff all great.place clean.fast service so you can get on your way again or drink in at leisure with a choice of delicious pastries.

Been here many times and the Coffee is always great and tasty. But need to cater more for gluten free intolerant people when ordering food! But about from that well done Starbucks keep making good coffee... 🙂👍🏼

It was clean and tables sanitised

Fridge was broken so had to ask what sandwiches were available, would have been better to have had a list of what they had. Toilets were not pleasant at all and there is definitely a sewage issue. Staff were pleasant enough and drinks were OK but cakes were dry and they reduced them straight after we paid for them which shows how long they has sat there. Not a great experience, possibly the worse Starbucks I'd ever been in.

Well presented hot chocolate and very pleasant staff who were covid compliant, as were the majority of customers. My only criticism was that the staff despite not being overly busy are slow at clearing tables for those drinking beverages inside, and had to ask for this service.

Usually I always get drink from here but to day got one take home and it wasn't nice at all to far to go back may be not enough staff on girl was rushing

Very little choice of food, no Soya milk left and when this was realised and I had normal skimmed milk there was no price adjustment. Really disappointing as my wife and I normally grab some food here after the kids have eaten at McDonald's.

Dirty tables, understaffed and filthy toilets. We walked out and went to McDonald's where it was spotless. Very disappointing starbucks branch.

Only me in the shop, yet the two women behind the till have to finish their conversation before they can even say hello to me. I'll just stand at the till, waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence.

It was very busy with a long wait, but with only 2 members of staff, they did well, and were lovely. Coffee is always good

First time in a starbucks & is the last never in my life have I seen such a dirty cafe 1 customer in front of me she had to wait 10-15minutes for her order I ordered 2 lattes & 1 bottle of juice took another 10 -15 mins before done and there were 3 staff behind counter who were more interested in their phones almost all the tables needed clearing & wiping down not impressed

Very busy, could have done with a couple more people working. Coffee was alright though.
