Starbucks in City of London, Westminster

Desperate for a warm drink after a charity walk through London. My friend and I had spent 8 hours walking 30 miles. We were cold, exhausted and in need of warmth. This unit was grubby, at best. The staff entirely lacklustre, no sense of urgency or anything remotely resembling customer service. In fact it felt our order (at 6:45pm?) was a huge inconvenience to them. No eye contact, no engagement, our drinks were just plonked in front of us, without a word uttered. Our hot drinks were OK, nothing remarkable but the sweet warmth was very welcome

Needed to get a train asap, the man made my drink very quickly to ensure that I wasn’t late for it. A true gentleman!

It is very nice venue, clean and inviting and comfortable - would use again if I was in the vicinity.

Visted the store and Marpreet was so kind to all the customers. Really helpful and kind. She seemed to genuinely care.

Clean and tidy, Staff friendly. Good choice of food and snack options and my coffee was up to its usual standard.

Will go again.I only popped in to get take-away cappuccinos, but I was struck by how friendly Mr Khan was. The cappuccinos were wonderful too! Me and my husband are your new regular customer because of lovely Mr Khan.

I’ve falling in love as of late with eggnog lattes but they are made differently each time depending on who makes them. The one from here was so milky that I couldn’t even drink it. There was no flavour whatsoever. Sadly I had to bin it. Hopefully I’ll strike lucky again and it will be made perfectly again.

I was waiting for my coach and there was a relatively angry surly girl working the till. I couldnt even believe it because it was like she was doing me a favor by taking my order. Wont return thats for sure! Coffee is same old, not great with a burnt taste.

Came here after a busy day in London, Was in a slight rush as to make sure not miss our coach, not many places in the vicinity were open on a Sunday, and there was a queue to order which is understandable considering it being the only place serving. However we noticed that the queue was moving slowly, which is fine, maybe understaffed. When we eventually got to the counter, Nino took our order, she wasn’t overly friendly but she could’ve been stressed, but she then didn’t really proceed to move any faster to serve customers (a couple of people behind us got frustrated and left because they were made late and no one was moving fast enough) After notifying us part of our order wasn’t available, we changed one of the orders to something that was available. No harm done, we realised there was only two people working; her and another male. They were simply making no effort to make haste and everyone was visibly frustrated. However, after waiting for part of our order we realised that it wasn’t being done, so I asked the man how long it would be, he looked confused and asked her, she then told me to “get in the queue” meaning the one that was we were just in. Didn’t really appreciate the attitude. I told her that I just was and she said “Well I didn’t put it through”, absolutely no apology, no attempt to rectify the situation and it was simply dismissed like I needed to queue again. At this point, I couldn’t order again because we would miss the coach at the rate they were going at which was embarrassingly slow. I understand that working on sunday is tiring and it can be frustrating, but that lack of customer service and lack of urgency was just kind of embarrassing to witness to be honest. That being said, the toastie was nice, so well done on that part.

Made me the wrong coffee, asked her to kindly remake it and if she needed me to tell her what it was again but she said no! Rude, couldn’t even crack a smile, think her name was Zain from what I could read off the name badge. She got my coffee wrong again so I asked for a refund and went elsewhere, even the manager a bad attitude. Don’t waste your time here!

I had a cappuccino which came way too hot and no froth on it. With milk that was already frothed and used for a customer before me. The tuna melt tastes and looked like they had played tennis with it before serving it. Really awful. Staff looks tired and drained, clearly they can’t stand being here, which is why they shove customers about like cattle 🐮

I guess with places like Starbucks, you really know the deal. You queue to have your order taken - have to have your name written on the cup and called out and join the group at the end of the counter - waiting for you your drink. On this occasion - no queue. Got my order wrong - was overcharged - had to wait a long time (almost missed my train). Come on guys! It's a cup of coffee - not meant to be an ordeal.

Popped in here for lunch prior to going to the Theatre. Ordered the Tuna Panini, that was warmed up. It was extremely fishy and so had to order some cake to take the taste away. Will not oder that item again.

The cashier was really slow and had to wait ten minutes even though there were only two persons before me.

I went to Starbucks with my best friend, it was a good service. I ordered a cookie which wasn’t warmed up so my friend went back to the counter and they were happy to do it. The food was good and the drink as well.

First time here and it was very good, service was fast with a good menu choice on offer. And usual prices for a Starbucks.
