Starbucks in Glasgow City

A lot of patience! They 'allowed' you to take food from Tesco. 2011. Good times... Don't follow my example, please. I'm sorry, I was a student.

I visited another disappointing Starbucks. I watched how they made drinks for around 7-10 minutes (because they missed my order). I was very suspicious that the barista followed and stuck to the proper recipe.

Used to be my This used to be a coffee shop I frequented near my university, but the operation and management of the Starbucks brand are undoubtedly shocking and disappointing. At a busy subway exit, a coffee shop had only two employees during the busy Sunday period. The takeaway orders overwhelmed the counter, and I stood in front of it for twenty minutes for an iced Americano that could have been made in two minutes. I will deliberately avoid Starbucks next time thinking about a cup of coffee. Their operating and management level and the extent of employee exploitation are undoubtedly shameful.

order never arrived - had to order again

I've updated my review since it reopened after refurbishment. Things I like This is the only place on Byres Road to get a Venti (huge) latte. Very central location - right next to the underground. The staff are nice and friendly Things I don't like: The coffee has a bit less twang or flavour than some of the other places I tried The new refurbishment (while needed), has clearly been done by people who don't understand what a coffee shop is for. The flow for queueing is now awful. They eliminated a lot of downstairs seating which makes the place look sterile and corporate.

Staff quite rude, saying we have to buy something to sit despite just sitting down. i don’t like being rushed personally so we left. Cafe is meant to be a relaxed atmosphere not rushing customers along

Starbucks on Hillhead makes the best almond milk latte I have ever had. This branch of Starbucks has 2 levels and a couple of tables located at the ground floor windows that you can sit at relax enjoy your drink and watch the world go by. On a colder day you can sit at the window and enjoy the strange expressions on people's faces as they experience the conditions of the cooler outside air mixing with the warmer Glasgow underground (metro) and creating indoor fog

Drink was delivered half full leaking all over the bag, attitude from staff was absolutely disgusting. Appalling service.

Somewhat wished they would check the stickers when making coffee, it's the second time this week that this happened when it's not busy.

Byres Rd., Glasgow - Was over charged £1, request not to fill it full was ignored and tasted like a watery mess.

Delivery time said 10:20 to 10:40 and it didn't come until 11:40, latte was cold as well. Never had to wait this long before.

Friendly staff, but hot chocolate was watery and served in paper cups. Tasted bad. Interior looking tired and grim. No longer a nice environment to be in, not comfortable at all.

I went to met a friend for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. I had my first pumpkin spiced latte lovely not too sweet for me and a ham and cheese toastie my friend had a black coffee and a tomato and cheese toastie. Both enjoy and filled the gap till dinner time. I had my dog with me and he loves his pupacino and the sad part is we had to leave and my friend left to go back home to Canada.

Drink not very well blended, many chunks of ice.

doesn’t know how to drive at all! Must have got his license out a lucky bag all the drinks spilled all over bag may as well have gotten charged half price ridiculous

This shop used to have a great cosy ambience but has entirely lost it in recent years. Shame 🙄

The packaging of my oat milk had been opened, and it was so disturbing

A million stars for service here! After a torrential downpour on a Friday evening - soaked and looking ridiculous for an evening out - the Batista here warmed me and my partner right up again with his fantastic welcoming chat. He even have us a bunch of napkins and things to handle some running makeup.. We had two iced lattes for the irony. It's Starbucks coffee, sure, and I'm usually harsh on high street chains. But not today! I wish I remembered the name of our server, but whoever you were, you're a top bloke.. it's those little things that stay with us! Hope this brightens your day too!

I’m very dissatisfied with my caramel latte, it’s not made the way it should. It’s so bitter and I can’t taste the caramel. It’s not creamy at all. I would like a refund for my order please and I am not happy.

Ordered a toastie, caramel shortbread and a latte. The caramel shortbread had melted all over the bag as it had been next to the hot food and the coffee tasted terrible! Bad bad experience!!!

It's close to campus so it's a great spot to study late, Starbucks prices as always but the staff were kind and had great chat

Two same toasted vanilla, totally different taste. There is no vanilla in mine, it’s really awful. The waitress’s attitude is so so bad when I came back asking for changing. They are cheating on consumers. 两杯一模一样的烤香草新品，我的那杯跟我朋友的那杯味道完全不一样。咖啡师做的时候忘记给我的那杯加料了，当我要求店员换一杯的时候她们的服务态度很差。我花钱买商品却得到了完全不同的商品，这是欺骗消费者的行为。

Dear Starbucks customer I was in Starbucks Glasgow , silverburn last night with my daughter like always minimum 4 times a week we visit Starbucks the surprise was yesterday from one of the stuff member her name Clog when my daughter asked her for cup of water and she refused as they do not give water i couldn’t believe what I heard I attend to her and asked again she said the they don’t give water because we are and I have the conversation recorded, I call to the store when I reach home and I spoke with the manager and told her what happened and she took my email and phone number and she never call back . Promise I will post everywhere possible and complain till I get reply.

the staff here are so nice and sweet, even through brief interactions they make me smile. like all Starbucks, it is incredibly expensive but very tasty. it can often get very busy and be a bit crowded but if you go at the right time it is a very pleasant experience.

Every time I order the coffee is never frothy. What it is with the quality of being in the shop with just eats. Don’t they care that people are paying and eating and drinking there food?. Cold bacon too 😏

Coffee ordered for me and colleagues - terrible all round. Drinks were missing; no sealing foil was added under the lids resulting in an absolute riot of spills from the provided cups. The alleged mocha was a poor quality, watery latte with no hint of cocoa or chocolate. Customer service response was poor. This store makes semi-frequent errors in orders but this is an achievement.

I placed an order for a cold brew latte with oat milk and when I got it it had oat milk and semi-skimmed milk(???) phoned the store and they said that there’s nothing they can do about it. Very disappointed with this.

Iced coffee was cold and brewed to perfection, panini was hot.

Coffee, cakes and sandwiches so overpriced and the tables were full of the last persons rubbish, not a nice experience, won't be using Starbucks again.

The place was quite busy (as someone who works in a chain coffee shop I understand the pressure) but some members of staff, particularly one called Holly, were quite rude and abrasive.

Not always up to the standard. Some baristas are good while some others are not good at all. Sometime I get my best coffee and sometimes I get the worst. So depends on how lucky you are when visiting 😃

Delivery delivery fantastic but store not! They forgot my order and when we call to report my missing items they didn’t care! Told me to reorder! Like really! No I would never go back there again!
