£5.50 for 2 pieces of chicken, chips, and a drink.....and the chicken is really tasty!

My gf and her mum usually stop by here on their walks. I finally got to try some and it was incredible. The chips are so tasty, the fish is incredibly fresh and tasty! I finally got to try some chicken and let me tell you it is the juiciest and most succulent fried chicken I have had in a long time! The seasoning is perfect and the quality is phenomenal!! I am usually picky with where I eat due to quality but this place is a must try!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and most importantly the food was delicious.. highly recommended 5 star

We came because on Google, the restaurant was noted as open but ultimately it was closed. Disappointed

This portion is £2! it’s not worth the money. I feel cheated, especially when you go out of way to visit and you leave with a baby meal

I get only chips from here but they are always hot and not long since being cooked and cost £2

Wicked, hot, fresh fish every time, crispy batter and delicious chunky chips. Owners have been there for years, very friendly and immaculately clean.

If you live locally, over the years you've most likely been conditioned into the terrible standards of this chip shop (refer to the "good" reviews for proof). Don't bother asking if food is fresh because the owners will brazenly lie to your face unless you've physically seen the food cooked on the spot. Everything is of relatively low quality or kept heated till it's inedible. Being polite isn't a license to sell poor quality food to the local community, most food establishments have relatively good standards whereas this shop is just about offloading sub par overcooked food that will only make you regret walking through the door no matter how many times you've forgotten how disappointed the last time you visited here. I swear this is the last time I eat ever here

The portion of chips are a shambles especially the small for 1.70 what a shambles you get like 10 chips also it looks like it gets no love

One of these best burger places in London. Lovely family owned business who always welcomes you with a smile. The prices are amazing too. Ask for a 1/4 pounder with red cabbage, white cabbage, lettuce and fried onions. 😋

Good local family run business, very busy Thursday - Saturday evening. Fish & especially Chips are better during these time as they are freshly cooked due to high demand. During quiet time chips can be hit or miss.

Amazing service and fast food by a lovely friendly couple. Would highly reccomend. They're burgers are one of a kind and the lahmachun wrap is just to die for. Definitely satisfies that lazy night, greasy fast food craving!👌🏼

Awful. Raw chips, cold cheap sausages and the mushy peas tasted of stale vinegar. Never going there again.

8 of us visited here on the recommendation of the local pub, as we were performing there. We had a variety of meals including the Turkish Kebab and various burgers. Everything was excellent, really delicious and great value, the staff are lovely and very welcoming. Will definately visit again next time we are in the area.

En realidad no se si son las mejores, pero si que están deliciosas y el pescado otro tanto. El local es más bien modesto y pequeñito, pero para un buen Fish&Chips no se me ocurre mejor lugar. Totalmente recomendable.

Very luck that this is my local chippy. Good ones are hard to come by. The fried chicken is also very good. Been going to this place off and on for 18 years...

The best burger in London hands down

Been coming to this shop since I was a baby, 22 years later its still my munch of choice! Food is always great, and amazingly priced. Staff are a family and have remained the same for as long as i can remember, and it seems as if the greyer they get, the happier they are!

Rock is really good fried to order a must try from usual cod. Now my best local for Friday's. Couple who run place quite friendly too. Cash only

Chips are good and the doner as well. Worth the extra 1-2 gbp compared to other places in the area.

The quality of the food here is unbelievable for a take away fish and chip shop. The chips and chicken are cut fresh on the premises and the batter on the fish and savloy is the best I've ever tasted. Portions are also exceptionally large and it's great value for money. Perhaps even better than the food is the staff - always friendly and welcoming and more than happy to have a chat. Wouldn't get my take away from anywhere else on the Brecknock strip!

I wasn't expecting much- fish and chips are so hit and miss and this place is just plain grotty looking, not "ironic". But they were absolutely spot on- best chips I've had in ages anywhere and the taste and texture of the fish was lovely and not at all greasy. Highly recommended. Nice staff too. Very nice surprise! The chips are okish chunky but flimsy and oily. Fish has way too much batter & not overly fresh. Mushy peas are bland. I also ordered a pasty and they basically microwaved it in the wrapper - so it was soggy and flat! Fortunately for them there are not many chippys around so no real competition.

The service is second to none. Even when busy you get served quickly (they have three staff members to serve you. Lovely Chips

Top marks for a London Chippie! Chips are spot on, fish is pretty good although choice is limited to the usual Cod, Haddock, Rock and Plaice. Fish and Chips in London is normally pretty substandard, but these guys manage to break the mould and serve up decent quality fish that would impress a northerner. Best I’ve had in London, and that includes that overrated posh place in Muswell hill.
