Food wasn't on when I was there so can't comment 1 might be hash prob don't read j to it Had a welcoming vibe one man and his dug style which it literally was which was cool Decor basic as possible which prob fine when it's busy but I was the only lad there so didn't make it very comfy experience and hence atmosphere. Beer selection was actually pretty poor only 3 or 4 of their own and mostly stuff I'm not a huge fan of ipas etc I had a few pints of the larger which in fairness was excellent so 4 stars

My “local” when I’m in town. We have a holiday home just outside the town and when there we always pop in to see the guys at Brew Co. They always have a great selection of their own brews and guest beers. Staff and atmosphere is always great.

Great wee bar, wonderful beer selection and friendly staff.

First time visit, went in on a Friday for a drink with my friend and my dog. Nice atmosphere and the team were fantastic. They were so good with my dog and made such a fuss of her. Will happily return and will be sure to take my dog with me.

I've been there for the first time on Sunday, last week and the atmosphere was great, service has been great. The only negative thing to say is to keep an eye to the bathroom, it wasn't very tidy or clean and the door could get closed. Other than that the place is great, food is very tasty, the service is 5 🌟. Coffee is olso amazing 👏 Definitely I am coming back.

Great food and drink, draft beers especially. Very helpful and friendly service. The cleanliness is not perfect, but overall, it is a very nice pub.

Really enjoyed the IPAs and food. We ate the soup of the day which I can’t remember the name. We also had the house salad and chicken wings. Both hit the spot. Wings have breading but were still really good.

Cracking brewery pub..excellent food..I'd a cheese burger husband had the Cullen skink..Def recommend..nice friendly and knowledgeable staff

First experience was awful. Approached door around 11.35 and walked in the open door to be shouted at that they weren’t open yet (despite door being unlocked and trip advisor and many other sites showing 11am opening). I would have left it there but we walked past about an hour later and were thirsty so went in to lovely atmosphere and friendly bar staff who were very welcoming. Great drinks. Glad we gave them a 2nd chance.

Thoroughly enjoyed a pale ale after a day of walking the Old Course, West Sands, East Sands and part of the Fife Coastal Path. Delicious beer, lovely place to sit and rest. Didn’t have any food so can’t comment on that but sure it was good.

Been there twice in one day cause it was so good!!!! The drinks are wayyyyy better than the food.

The burger meal was covered salt and pepper which was very disappointing couldn’t eat it, we had previously been there a couple of year back and the burger was great but I would not go back and I cannot recommend

Small pub with great craft beer!

Before we unpacked, we came in for St Andrews Brewery draft beer. We enjoyed a leisurely hour inside, loving every tasty drop. We made reservations for dinner. This was a return visit to this gastro-pub from a year ago so be assured, we love it! Our dinner pizzas were perfection-Campbell, the chef, made a pizza specific to my liking.You can request things not on the menu. Don’t miss it when you’re in town!

Brilliant. Lovely friendly staff, good drink selection and food was top notch. We had pizzas and sides and they were huge...freshly made and delicious..we have never been in before so had no expectations but would now 100% recommend and will be back. Decor is a bit basic and that is the only downside bit who goes for the decor??

Went there to try a few different beers. Really good friendly staff and helpful.

The Mac and cheese I had for was to die for .The flavours complimented each other extremely well. I also decided to try there vippie ipa which was amazing. Staff were absolutely fantastic and the chefs know how to make a exceptional Mac and cheese I would highly recommend.

I was really excited to try the beers here, but I honestly was not happy with what I tried. The place has great staff, but sadly none of the beers that I tried were very good (in my opinion). I'm sure that this changes from time to time, so it may be worth visiting but that was my experience. It was also a bit too expensive.

St. Andrews brewing company is a great place to have a pint in. St. Andrews. I had the IPA and really enjoyed it. The beer was great and the service excellent. I can recommend visiting St. Andrews brewing company if you enjoy beer!

Phoned ahead to book a table and ensure coeliac friendly options, told this wouldn’t be an issue. Arrived and were seated upstairs, ordered our food and drinks at the bar downstairs. The server was unsure about what was gluten free so I chose safely with nachos and paid for our 4 meals and drinks. About 5 minutes later the same sever came and said the chef was unwilling to cook for me as couldn’t guarantee gluten free, no alternative offered or an explanation given other than the kitchen was small. As it was already late I had asked was it that the risk of contamination was high due to a small kitchen or was there’s nothing gluten free, I was told again the chef wasn’t willing to cook for me, which gave us little option. I then had to ask for a refund for our 4 meals which they seemed shocked about at the bar that I wanted our 4 meals refunded seeing as we weren’t getting them. I feel the fact we phoned ahead and specifically said I was a coeliac and was told I could be catered for, coupled with lack of explanation and the I had to ask for a refund rather than it be offered is pretty poor service. I should have actually asked for our drinks to refunded too as we couldn’t finish them as had to find somewhere else to eat at 8pm in a busy St Andrews. Will not visit again.

Great beer pub with delicious food. The outside space is very comfortable and they bring you a bowl of water for your dog.

Great place for my farewell lunch with all my radar and EPR colleagues from St Andrews Uni. I think the chef was overwhelmed by the numbers even though we had submitted our orders earlier. The food was good however, it just came out over a long period. We had our own private room where we could control the volume of the music. All in all a good experience.

Food wasn't great, drinks were fairly priced and the atmosphere was good.

The bar staff were knackered and over pressed on the day of my visit. Selection of beer was reasonable....too many IPA as always. This is a drive through pint rather than a whole evening place. Ok

I had a beer, my wife a tea and my daughter a hot chocolate and we shared a pizza as a snack to keep us going. Drinks were good and pizza very tasty. Quick service. Toilets were clean. It was pretty busy in St.Andrews and we were glad to get a seat.

Amazing place, with yummy food and it’s dog friendly. The staff were really friendly and there is outside seating for warmer days.

We popped in here for lunch as a family of 4, which includes 2 young children. The place had a good, chilled vibe. The meals were tasty and good value. Children's portions were pretty big too. Good selection of beers which my husband loved. Worth a visit!

A decent pub, rather busy, and very loud. Seating upstairs is helpful, drinks are not cheap, but fine by St Andrews standards. We didn't have food - but it looked good!

Absolutely brilliant a fantastic place and the selection of beers / alcohol on offer will keep even the most experienced/fussy of visitors Happy/legless. I visited during the 6 nations rugby championship-scotland vs Wales.supporters of every nationality of the championship contender were present in the pub the atmosphere was friendly and electric to be fair this was the case across the whole town .The staff were brilliant and well up to the task of keeping everyone entertained and supplied. Recommended.

Planning on going for lunch as we heard great things and they are dog friendly. Disappointed right away as the menu online looked great but the menu in the pub was extremely limited. We wanted burgers for lunch as we had seen online but the menu in person had to burgers. Less than half the menu in person that was seen online. If its changed, update your website. Simple. Just as we were about to order the guy behind the bar, who was clearly too busy on his phone, informed us that their delivery hadn't arrived that half of the already limited menu was unavailable. This was after over 5 minutes of being there. Poor service and lack of care and attention to patrons. Won't be back

Was in St andrews looking for quirky Christmas presents. It was a miserable day. On the way back the car my son said he wanted a pint. As we are both real ale buffs we searched for a pub that sold ale. It was around 5pm and quiet but the guy behind the bar was very pleasant and his beer was good. A wee bit different than most pubs but relaxed and friendly

Really need to update their online menu. We planned what we wanted to eat from the online menus, it was why we chose it. Then to find the menu in the pub was totally different. Was a big disappointment for both of us! We had to settle with a pizza as we couldn't get what we wanted (staff mentioned the online menus haven't been updated in over a year!) Staff were friendly & helpful. Dog friendly. Would come back for a drink but not food.

Been before, but brought friends with us on this visit, while they were visiting the area. Great range of local beer aswell as a good selection of other Scottish beers too. Lovely flavoured gins too. Nice place to sit and chat and a great atmosphere too. Plenty of outdoor seating options available too. Friendly and welcoming staff throughout our visit. Will definitely return

I liked this place. Not too noisy, friendly bar staff, gave me a good sized coffee (companion was on beer).

Nice inviting place + good beer. Early Saturday evening wasn't too busy or loud. Livened up when a few in fancy dress popped in for a drink & moved on. Will be back next time 🙂

We went at lunchtime for some food an drinks. Bbq chicken pizza and cajun fries were a winner! Staff were welcoming and friendly. Only thing is that it was quite cold inside, as the door was open. Had to keep our jackets on.

Brew co was very fun. Good atmosphere, good vibes. Very much enjoyed the companionship of my mates in this humble pub. lovely time truly. George absolutely smashed gender norms by trying his first VBL and I think if you asked him he’d say he had a lovely time as well.

Big thanks to Duke, Froodie, and the whole BrewCo team from Cincinnati! Thought we knew how to party, but Yippie (and the great nation of Scotland) put us in our place. Great welcome on arrival for us and the dogs, order taken very quickly and food arrived quickly too. Staff were great and very attentive and as a fussy eater the food was outstanding. Nothing was too much of a problem. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting St. Andrews

A cracking spot for people watching, if outside, and a lovely indoor space if there's a bit of a chill in the air. Friendly staff and customers and a good selection of drinks.

Good beer, but staff were more interested in chatting with their mates than serving customers. Tables were left uncleared whilst the employees chatted at the end of the bar.

Nice pub, with some decent beers and a good deal on cask beers. The hamburger I ate there was about a good as any I've had anywhere, and I've eaten my share of burgers. ETA--After another summer in St. Andrews, this remains my favorite hangout. The staff are great, the food is very good, and the beer is quite good as well.

Nice food and beer, let down by the fact there's no soap in the toilets which aren't that clean.

Sad to see a great independent pub taking advantage of visitors. Three weeks ago before the Open Golf a pint of Yippee (Great beer) was £5.30. Now £6.30 staff were embarrassed when we asked about it. Come on Brewco sort this out!

How come I cannot find any photos of my favorite pub in St Andrews? Probably because I always go there to have a good time, enjoy the wide selection of great local ales and eat some pub classics. I would say this is a must pub even if you're on a half day visit to StA. they also serve in 1/3, 2/3 of pint, so you don't have to get smashed, just enjoy the delicious ales! And ciders too!

Friendly and knowledgeable bar staff, they were able to recommend beers for differing tastes. The food menu is small, but very generous portions and we'll cooked. A venue for a nice evening.

The Pub does not serve food however they do welcome customers to bring their own food from outside eateries. This definitely fit into our plans as we wanted to same some of their craft beers with lunch. Compared to other micro craft breweries there is...

Really excellent coffee, good beer, and delicious pub style food in very generous portions. Also spacious so one of the best places to find a table when it’s busy. And VERY dog (and human) friendly. My favourite place in town.

We went in today got seated easily. I ordered soup they asked if I’d like Cullen Skink instead to save a wait and for the inconvenience gave me it free. The soup was excellent and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his pizza.

Good food, pulled pork nachos are amazing, and very good beer. Very nice surroundings and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hands down the best place to stop in for beer and hamburger in St Andrews

Very very good food I would recommend the burger.

Went for lunch with my grandson and dog and sat in sun eating. The food was served quickly along with the drinks and a bowl of water for the dog. Ladies toilets were immaculately clean. Prices were very reasonable for this day and age. What impressed me also was a sign in the ladies saying that if you found yourself in an awkward or difficult situation and needed help, to go to the bar or ask a member of staff and ask for Angela and the staff would realise you were in trouble and would get a taxi to get you home. What a brilliant idea. I live locally but will visit again. Thank you.

We went in to get some lunch but soon left after being basically ignored by staff who were more preoccupied with their own banter. Never offered a drinks menu and never got a chance to order before the staff disappeared. Not impressed.

Not bad. Had a rhubarb pale ale okay. Bit to noisy for me. I am 82 though. Seems a good student pub.

Good number of tables outside to soak up the sun. Mac 'n' cheese with garlic bread was a hearty portion and very cheesy as you'd expect. Scampi was fine, if a touch overdone. Staff were really nice and beer selection was excellent. For the price, decent value for money

Came here for a feed and a couple (or 5) pints after work with 2 young labradors. The staff, especially Callum , could not have been more helpful. They offered table service to help with the dogs, while offering the dogs cuddles and water. Food was good. Beer was tasty (Yippee IPA is awesome). Definitely recommend.

Visited on Sunday night. We had an itison voucher deal which was great value. We both had Balmoral chicken burgers. They were delicious. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, great service all round. The whole place was spotless. We will definitely return. 😊

Good place to go for a proper beer

Disappointed to see very little gin on shelr. Was same last time. This used to be pacjed with unusual gibs & malts. The place to try something new but sadly not now. Will give it a miss for a while
