Yet again great food with requests for alterations done perfectly. Also items not on the menu made to order. Bring your a bottle just adds to the experience. Great value for money.

Been coming to Spice village for few years and always have a friendly welcome from Shar and Bob, the food is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. Always offer advice and recommendations from the menu which is welcomed. Spice village also offer take away service which has always been equally as good. Highly recommend .

Absolutely love this place. Have been coming for years and finally got round to doing a review. Such a lovely atmosphere, and two of the best hosts, Shah and Bob, you'll find anywhere. You'll be very well looked after. Menu is huge and varied. Food is absolutely delicious. Friends we take always comment how tasty it is. Also, taking your own drinks makes the bill very reasonable. Highly recommend Spice Village!

I highly recommend this restaurant, I went for the first time with Nag rugby club and in 3 months I went there with other groups of friends, with my family and did take aways around 15 times already. The service is great, the quality of the food its amazing, and for a very good price. Nothing bad to say about the restaurant, it's just amazing!!

We recently visited the Spice Village and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. As part of their May deal, we received a complimentary side dish or starter. We have used this restaurant regularly but over the past couple of months have found the standard of food has dropped. Maybe because they have become so popular. We have kept going back and getting takeaway but now decided it may be time to try somewhere new. Shame because we love to stay local

I have visited this restaurant over 10 times and the food has been consistently amazing. The staff are friendly and always accommodating, and they offer vegan options. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. I must say we were extremely happy with the whole set up. The food was lovely. The portion's are big and were very tasty. Restaurant was very clean and Staff are extremely friendly. We will definitely go back and let others know how nice it is in there.

My wife and I are regulars to spice village and love it. It’s hands down the best restaurant in new ash green and the food is always great. Excellent value for money and the portions are huge. Never had a bad meal from them!

Food was reasonable quality. Too much sauce and very little meat... Biryani was over spiced and minute frozen prawns with two bits of chicken and two bits of lamb. The vegetable curry showed little sign of vegetables. But all tasted ok. The service was but very friendly staff however half our party got served nearly 30 minutes before rest so had nearly finished their meal before the rest got served.. staff however very nice couldn't fault them. Restaurant has had good standard of decoration.. bring your own bottles was very well catered for as they have no licence. Overall service was done by very nice staff. Food was of reasonable quality however they need to cut sauce and improve ingredients to be able to say that it was very good..

Amazing curry here tonight for our family of 12. We booked last minute and they were really accomodating. Really fresh, yummy food. Lovely staff who provided a birthday dessert and candles for us. Will definitely be back!!

The chefs lamb curry takes a bit of beating, I use some east London Indian/Pakistani cafes where the local community’s choose to eat and it’s as close to that as you like. Cushty Chavvy.

Why does the chef put all this sugar in his food even cucumber raita. I had to throw away my curry last night which was a shame as a lot of the dishes are good. Please cook authentic Indian. They do not put this amount...

Excellent meal out at the Spice Village in New Ash Green. We tried 3 of the recommended dishes, fantastic, favourites being the Dhakeshuwari and Sunset Simla. The accompaniments were great, highlight was the Sag Paneer. Great service, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend will return.

We met friends who we have not seen since the beginning of March and found a totally refurbished restaurant! Although there was nothing wrong with the old one, the newly decorated one is clean and fresh looking and a huge improvement. The food is stiil excellent and there are some new dishes which will all need to be tasted.!!! The staff are, as always, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This restaurant has the added bonus of being ‘bring your own bottle’ which makes it an even better night out.

Visited on a cold night and was immediately struck by the warmth of the reception by Babul aka. Bob. My wife and I were not sure what to have but Bob was only too willing to assist with our choice. My wife went with Bobs suggestion and I had a chicken Jalfrezi with Pilau rice.It was the best Jalfrezi that I have ever had and both my wife and myself agreed that the food and service were five star.We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough as it transformed a miserable night into an absolute delight.

Been a semi-regular at this restaurant over the years. Since the recent change of ownership, the deal now is that you take your own booze (glasses and soft drinks are available).The food continues to be excellent and the menu seems to be updated regularly. The staff are great - Bob is awesome as front of house. Like everything that is great, you sometimes need to be a bit patient. If you want a relaxed evening, with no sense of rush and gorgeous freshly prepared food, then this is the place for you.

Eaten here twice in a week with friends then family. Attentive service, excellent food and we can walk home after! No table licence so its BYOB which is great as we can bring decent wines & beers along.

Para llevar. Peshwari Naan ordenados y me enviaron un naan sencilla. Arroz Pilaw ordenados y mandaron a arroz hervido. Los Bhajis de cebolla seca, dura y era duro. La comida estaba tibia y frío muy rápidamente. Decepcionó a pasar 30 libras en una comida y conseguir de mala calidad. La entrega fue a tiempo.

We use spice village for a regular weekly takeaway they always deliver in good time good value for money plus the food is great, recommend to anyone.

Turned up on time and was hot but am afraid to say this is by far the worst Indian takeaway I've had. I've only ever ordered from here once so looking at other reviews perhaps it was a one off but all of the dishes were very bland and very greasy.

He estado aquí muchas veces y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. El servicio es atento, la comida siempre es buena. La comida es deliciosa y se puede degustar las especias en contraposición a 'calor'! El restaurante se enorgullece de utilizar sólo ingredientes naturales y esto ayuda con la presentación de la comida. Siempre caliente, con calientaplatos en la mesa. Esta visita fue con amigos, un total de 12.
