Food arrived late to when it said, when it arrived it was lukewarm, bread and popadoms were burnt. Not as nice as usual

I think the system puts out a time of 16.05pm when in actual fact the restaurant doesn't start delivering until 4pm so it wasn't really late and I will order a meal from the restaurant again. The food arrived hot and tasted great. Highly recommend

order took more than 2 hours to come and had 2 x naans missing when it did arrive. After phoning about the naans, they then arrived quickly but, we had finished our food by then.

£10 for a pot FULL of sauce and FIVE chunks of meat, what a rip off, I'll order else where from now on.

Very disappointing experience. Ordered around 8pm via Just Eat to be given 1hr wait time. Have had deliveries before that have taken 1/2 hours so expected that but ours arrived just before closing at 11pm. No communication whatsoever as there was no answer to the phone despite trying at several different times. The app updated twice with “delivered” when it hadn’t been. Food was also disappointing this time as it was barely warm. The Madras had no spice to it and Rogan Josh just tasted like tinned tomatoes. A massive shame as food has usually been decent but it seems they are putting quantity over quality which is a huge shame.

Expected 7.45-8.05. Arrived 8.45 after 2 phone calls to the restaurant. Just eat updated as delivered 20 minutes before it was. Not a good experience.

I have used this takeaway only 4 times and each time the delivery has been unacceptably late. This time I chose to order before they were even open at 15:30 and book a 6pm delivery time. The food didn’t arrive until 19:15, over an hour late yet again. There has never been any attempt at an update, explanation or apology. To their credit the food is always delicious and hot but I think this will be the last time I order from here.

As usual the food is fantastic , but pre ordered very early about 3pm on Saturday afternoon to arrive at 19.50 and had to phone twice to find out where our food was and was told it’s on the way unfortunately it turned up 1hour 25mins late and this is not acceptable. The delivery driver was very apologetic which is not his fault as he said that they just don’t care , only wish just eat would add a function to cancel your order online order if it’s 1 hour late but highly doubtful.

4 HOUR WAIT!!!! Bang average and delivery time was appalling!!! Aiming to feed my family at dinner time I ordered around 6pm and it arrived at home 10pm!

The best takeaway around and lovely people running it. Have had around 20 takeaways from here, always superb quality. Keep up the great cooking.

it was so late I went out for food. my neighbours took in the food 45mis after it was supposed to be delivered. I've ordered food here back a while ago and the food was nice. needs to have love updates

Ordered at 7:10, didnt turn up till 10. Couldnt get through to restaurant as line constantly busy. No apology for late delivery. Wont be ordering from Spice Valley again!

SLOW, UNRELIABLE SERVICE AND ISSUES WITH REFUNDING - STAY AWAY! 21:09 - Ordered a takeaway, 2 curries, 2 rice, one chips, one naan. 22:05 - We called as we still haven’t received, they said it would be here in 10 minutes. As the driver dropped off the curry, they mentioned they were short one curry and told us it was out for delivery. 22:19 - we called to ask where the next curry was. They said it’s out with their driver. 22:45 - we called again, it still wasn’t here. We ordered through their website and requested a full refund where they said they were unable to as it wasn’t through Just Eat or Deliveroo. We had multiple conversations with them leading into 2300 to no avail. Awaited a return phone call at 2320 saying they wanted the food back for a refund and they’d return it in cash. At this point we threw the food out and had gone to bed. After explaining this they said they’d only refund £20. We didn’t eat the food as it was incomplete and we waited for the other curry to be able to sit and enjoy it. By the time it was resolved the food was cold and inedible and thrown away. £43.80 we paid for the food and the time it took and the service we received was SHOCKING. I have enjoyed their food on times but I have to say over the years we have experienced this kind of thing before. There are far better Indian restaurants in the area which will give much better service and have a lot more morality. Absolute last straw will never order from them again.

Food was lovely, the delivery was very bad. It was updated as late twice and was still later. If we have known it would have been over 2 hours for food, we would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. (Ordered at 18.00, estimated delivery 19.20-19.40, arrived 20.25) Delivery driver however was very apologetic, and very friendly.

We were away on holiday and ordered to the accommodation. Food was OK, bhajis were excellent. Ordered two spicy Poppadums in addition to what we assumed would be free plain ones for a £60 order but there were none and no dips either. Naan bread was missing and the refund is useless as we don’t use Just Eat at home, we live too rurally. Over £5 for rice seems a bit steep.

Completely inedible disgusting food. The chips were full of grease. The chicken tikka was bland. The naan bread was basically dough completely disgusting will be reporting to the food standards agency, there was a bone in the chicken tikka I now feel completely sick. Never go here, will be taking this further with the food standard’s agency.

The quality of food has always been to my liking and the flavours are sublime! Generous portion sizes, although prices have increased beyond what is usually expected recently, which makes things a little off putting but when the mood is there, its always worth the price!

2 hours late. Had to ring up to find where my order was? Ordered on a Thursday at 10 to 6….not a common day for a takeaway or time so I’m not sure what they were doing with my food? The food was pretty tasty. But I won’t be ordering again.
