Ordered a Donner Kebab and wondered why it was ready so quick it must have been lying there ready for someone who never picked it up.. its Rank rotten. Not long moved to East Kilbride and will never use this shop again.

After trying a few different takeaways in EK which were disappointing we thought we try this place . What can I say but WOW absolutely delicious nicest takeaway we have had in years . Will definitely be back !

ordered a munchie box and garlic nan, delivered on time however, everything was cold, over cooked, tasteless and the salad was sitting on top of chips which had obviously been reheated.. never again... avoid like the plague. dinner went in the bin wouldnt even feed it to the dog !!... box it came in was all soggy affecting the food inside.

Small donner kebab . Slices of thin rubber no taste from the spices. Guy slices in front of you puts it in the top hot holding top tray . Then opens up the next one down and uses that old meat . Was totally disgusted he knew I saw what he done . Got it home was like slices of thin rubber . Threw it in the bin what a waste of £4 . Give people what they see you cutting not other crap . Maybe old meat from last night . Review today 28/6/2020 . NEVER AGAIN.

Once you decide from the vast menu, you fill out the form online and are given a delivery slot. The food when it arrives (usually earlier), it is always piping hot and delivery staff so cheerful.

I know it was Easter Saturday but, delivery was very slow. Ordered on line at 6:00. Had eventually to call shop, and order delivered at 7:40. It was also not very warm and had to be reheated. Very bad show, as your food is good.

We got a family munchie box and we could not eat it . The chips were cold and not fresh the donner kebab meat was disgusting definitely won’t be buying from here again

I have asked 2 days in row for an order stating no mushroom pakora as have an allergy on both occasions got 11 pieces which ended me having to call nhs24 for help will not be ordering anymore from them food is delicious but cant get orders right

We ordered our favourite takeaway meal and as usual we were not disappointed. Will most definitely be back.

We ordered a meal for four for a birthday dinner, got it home and found we had four of the same curry, which is not what they have on the menu. Although we weren't happy about this, nobody wanted to go back out and we thought it would be impossible to explain over the phone as the member of staff who served us just wasn't interested. We further disappointed to find the meals were bland, we had no idea what they were supposed to be as there was very little flavour. I will not buy from here again.

The starters were ok but when we took the main meals out of the bag we discovered four runny brown coloured spice less chicken meals. We had been told that we couldn't change any of the meals in the meal for four, then they give us four the same, unsure what it was that we received. Have tried to send email to Spice of Life to complain however their website would not allow me to send it. Find it really hard to believe that every single review they have received since 2015 has been five stars.

Have used this takeaway many times over the years and have always found it very good. I ordered a meal sat night and once again it was totally delicious. The chicken tandoori was mouth watering with curry sauce, hot fresh rice and a lovely crispy salad I also ordered the nan bread which was huge, lovely and fresh straight out the oven a large portion of food for the money, one of the best takeaways in East Kilbride.

Back at Spice Of Life East Kilbride on December 30th 2018 for the first time in what seemed like ages, well the last time was July 3rd 2018. I think from the memory Spice Of Life East Kilbride had been changing staff/chefs & for a while there the quality was starting to suffer. Anyway, decided to revisit an old favourite order which was a small spicy chicken pizza & a large chicken tikka kebab. Ordered via the Spice Of Life East Kilbride website, was a little disappointed that the website no longer seems to offer a 10% discount like it used to, perhaps it's been removed for the Christmas period? Advised collection would be in 20 minutes & true to form in exactly 20 minutes I was walking out the door of Spice Of Life East Kilbride with my order piping hot. To be fair, the small spicy chicken pizza did seem smaller than I remember, but it was deliciously spicy & thoroughly enjoyed. I again wished I'd ordered the medium spicy chicken pizza. The chicken tikka kebab was also full of succulent well spiced chicken & I'm reliably informed the kebab sauce that Spice Of Life East Kilbride provide with the kebab is to die for. Thoroughly enjoyed my order & hopefully a return to form for the boys at Spice Of Life East Kilbride. When they are on form there isn't a better Indian takeaway in East Kilbride.

We all ordered our favourite takeaway meals and were not disappointed. Our order was delivered early and everything was perfect. Will most certainly be back in the New Year.

Después de haber sido cliente durante muchos años, soy muy triste al decir que estoy muy decepcionado y consternado. Solo llamé por llevar, un gran pollo tikka kabab y un gran shashlik. Ambos con ensalada y salsa. El pollo era abundante y sabroso, aunque le faltaba ensalada y no había pepino, tomate ni lejía. Al parecer, la ensalada ahora solo consiste en repollo con algo de hierba mezclada. El shashlik, sin embargo, no tenía ni pimientos ni setas, ni lettice, pepino ni tomate (que siempre lo acompañaban en abundancia) y ¡una escasa cantidad de LAMB! Scararlige! Otra vez falta de variedad. ¿Qué salió mal aquí? Solías ser un certificado muerto para una comida genuina. Me siento estafado. Desafortunadamente ahora has perdido mi costumbre.

Went for a quick bite ordered food just pakora , waited 35 minutes only to be told they forgot to put my order through. Walked away in disgust never again will i go near this dump.

Had my first pizza from here a couple of weeks ago and will never go elsewhere - IT It was just amazing, and such great value for money! Dominoes and pizza hut pale in comparison for yumminess and value! thank you x

Waited over 2 hours for a delivery, called the place after an hour and a half and was told it was enroute. Half an hour later the delivery guy turned up with the wrong order and it was cold too. This place is a joke and doesn't even merit a 1 star rating.

The restaurant changed the time to 19.50 which is fine. Giving us a 50min wait. We then had to phone at 20.30 because it still hadnt arrived yet. To which we where told it was leaving. We then phoned at 21.00 because still no show and to be told we are busy tonight! It then came at 21.20 with no discount for the wait and the food was the cold!!!

We orderd around 11:30 food was due to come about 00:25 but my husband phoned around 00:05 and they said food was on its way our food did not arrive untill 1am 55 mins after it apparently left the shop it was freezing cold disgusting when i tried to phone shop there phone rang out very dissapointed and will not be ordering from here again

I ordered a large Chicken Tikka Kebab & a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken. The Chicken Tikka Kebab was full of succulent Chicken Tikka & was absolutely delicious, no complaints at all. The small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken was absolutely fabulous. Wonderfully spicy & you could taste all the fresh elements of the pizza from Spice Of Life. Certainly better taste & better value for money than the big chains. Spice Of Life really did spice up a cold October evening & it's again credit to the staff up at East Kilbride's finest Indian takeaway for yet another superb meal. I'm running out of superlatives to describe how great this takeaway is. My advice, just try it, you'll never order from any other Indian takeaway in East Kilbride once you have. was amazing. only ordered from here as it was only place open but will be ordering again. the burger and chips were amazing, the nan was the biggest we have seen and the curry had a lot of chicken. spiced onions and popodoms were also lovely. not a bad thing to say about them.

we ordered a spicy mince pizza with extra green peppers last night, with chips. We were really looking forward to this as we LOVE this pizza from you guys, however when it was delivered to our horror it wasn't what we asked for. Yes there was chips, but our pizza had chicken on it, which was extremely dry, the peppers were horrible too, so overall it wasn't great. We tried to get the delivery drivers attention but we didn't, we then called to get no answer. we tried to eat it but it was horrible.

Ordered my usual of a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken & a small Chicken Tikka Kebab. Spicy Chicken Pizza was stunning with lots of beautiful spicy chicken topping. Left a nice tingle in the mouth. I've said it before but the boys up at Spice Of Life really know how to make a great pizza that puts all the big chains to shame. The small Chicken Tikka Kebab was full of lovely succulent strips of Chicken Tikka & the sauce that topped the kebab was wonderfully spicy. Only things that could make Spice Of Life better are, maybe a buy one get one free pizza night or for a regular customer such as myself, a loyalty card. Tonight I ordered a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken & a small Chicken Tikka Kebab (Pretty much my usual). Chicken Tikka Kebab was absolutely delicious with plenty of succulent Chicken Tikka within it. My small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken was nice. I've had it spicier, but the pizzas at Spice Of Life still beat the big chains any day of the week. 22 orders so far in less than a year. 21 have been fantastic & only 1 hasn't been up to the high standards Spice Of Life normally set themselves. That to me is good going. Shows Spice Of Life to be consistent with excellent food quality & standards & that is what makes it East Kilbride's finest Indian takeaway. Keep up the good work. A Wednesday night order from what is usually East Kilbride's finest Indian takeaway. I ordered a small Chicken Tikka Kebab & a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken. Tonight the Chicken Tikka Kebab didn't have as much succulent Chicken Tikka within it, which left me a bit disappointed given I'm a regular customer of Spice Of Life. The small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken was fine. To be honest, I have had it spicier from the boys up at Spice Of Life before but it was still tasty. Finally quoted JustEat price was £9.20. When I went to collect my order I was told £9.25, obviously charging for the small plastic bag. Gave over the money only to then not be charged for the plastic bag after all. If you have to charge 5p for a plastic bag, at least put it on the menu as an option for when collecting food. Afraid to say that East Kilbride's finest Indian takeaway wasn't up to their usual high standards that they have set themselves previously. Hopefully just a one off? As they are usually superb.

If there was an award for East Kilbride's best pizza, it wouldn't be an Italian takeaway or a chippy that would win it, it would be East Kilbride's finest Indian takeaway, Spice Of Life. Pizza's are really that good! Chicken Tikka Kebab had lots of long lovely succulent strips of Chicken Tikka within it. Fresh salad & lots of kebab sauce. Absolutely divine it was. Don't understand all the 1 star reviews? I guess in the haste to give Spice Of Life full stars it's easy for ones finger to slip to accidently only give it 1 star. It is not a 1 star takeaway. Wednesday June 21st 2017 & I fancy tasting the best Spicy Chicken Pizza East Kilbride has to offer. Where do I go to find such you may ask? Spice Of Life is the answer. I ordered a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken & a small Chicken Tikka Kebab from East Kilbride's finest Indian takeaway all for a very reasonable £9.20. Spicy Chicken Pizza was topped to absolute perfection with tongue tingling Spicy Chicken. Every element of the pizza could be tasted from the fresh base, tomato, cheese & of course the spicy chicken topping. Beats the big chains hands down. Chicken Tikka Kebab had more Chicken than my last order, which was extremely pleasing to see. Glad to see it containing the usual amount of Chicken Tikka which I must say was absolutely superb. Very tasty indeed. If you want to eat the best Indian food on East Kilbride's takeaway scene, then the only place to go is Spice Of Life. Accept no poor imitations! Ordered a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with extra Spicy Chicken & a small Chicken Tikka Kebab. Spicy Chicken Pizza was as always, well topped, fresh & tasty. The small Chicken Tikka Kebab didn't have as much Chicken Tikka within it as last time but was still tender & enjoyable. Overall another enjoyable order from the boys up at Spice Of Life. No problems with food not getting delivered or anything as it was a collection order, ready to collect, fresh, hot & tasty on time. Not ordered last thing at night & complaints of apparent non delivery like some. Nothing but high praise from me for the boys up at Spice Of Life. The best in East Kilbride by far. Waited over two hours for a munchy box. The box was soaked all the way through that the food was resting in a Polly bag. Food was absolutely ice cold and completely inedible. Complete waste of time and money.

Meat quality in my hoagie was awful, very small portion for what the price asks for, avoid this restaurant at all costs, they're very sly with prices for low quantity. Lastly, I can recommend Marmaris better in the village

I was apparently not in and most likely forgotten about. He spun a story saying he knocked 3 times but i didn't hear my flat buzzer or any knocking. I then only encountered him when i decided to go down and investigate. I see the car pull up and he phones me. Why did he not phone me the 3 previous times? Food was stale and hard. Disappointed is an understatement...

A Bank Holiday Monday order from the Kings Of Spice up at Spice Of Life. Ordered a small Chicken Tikka Kebab & a small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken. Usually order a large Chicken Tikka Kebab but wasn't as hungry. The small Chicken Tikka Kebab was still very generous with the Chicken & very substantial given its price. The small Spicy Chicken Pizza with additional Spicy Chicken was extremely well topped, spicy & absolutely delicious. I have said it before but I shall say it again. The boys up at Spice Of Life really do put the big pizza chains to shame when it comes to pizza. They really are delicious, as is in actual fact all their food. I have been ordering regularly for a while & it's credit to the boys that I have never had a bad meal yet! Ordered a large kebab and got what seems like a small one the meat was a bit dry and chewy plus too much grease soaked into the pita bread made it fall apart

This is the worst food I've ordered on just eat and I've ordered from many restaurants in different towns. Large kebab was anything but large. was litterally about 12 strips of burnt chewy old meat and a soggy chilli sauce soaked chapati. I wish I could upload a picture. the order came at about 00:15 and therefore I couldn't return upon realising so instead chose to write this review. disgusting, do not order.

Order arrived in two parts separately as half of the order was missing when it was originally ordered. I called and the remainder was delivered. As a result I had to assemble a cold kebab. I didn't expect a DIY takeaway so am very annoyed.

havent ordered chicken tikka main for a while but decided was in the mood. chicken, salad and rice excellent as usual, but dont know wants happened to raita sauce . always order the raita sauce instead of curry sauce and it usually has a lovely spicy flavour. but i dont know if theyve changed the recipe or what but certainly had a very bland yoghurty flavour.

Awful. Meat tasted like rubber like it had been made days ago and reheated. Nan was mush and the salad consisted of a few strands of cabbage. Easily one of the worst kebabs I have had. After a few bites it went in the bin.

I will never order from here again, nearly an hour and a half wait, paid extra for chicken breast, it was overcooked and tough, what a waste if money.

Really really good food, let down by very very slow delivery. Seems to be a general issue in EK though - successful takeaway equals slow service. If you can collect then defo go for it, or if you don't mind waiting 1hr 40mins then you're set!

Not ordered in nearly 3 weeks but I am glad to say the quality hasn't dropped. I ordered a small Spicy Chicken Pizza & a large Chicken Tikka Kebab. Pizza was wonderful. Nice 'n' Spicy & well topped. Puts the big chains to shame. Chicken Tikka Kebab was lovely. An excellent amount of big pieces of succulent Chicken within which was thoroughly enjoyed & demolished in record time. Keep up the good work guys & keep that good food spicy.

My order came about half an hour early. Brilliant. Food was good as usual 👍🏼

Food quality was pretty poor, unfortunately. The kebab meat was so unappetising we couldn't actually eat it.

Best Indian meal I have had. Every mouthful was delicious , so fresh, even the nan bread was amazing and better than any I've had before! Can be a little expensive but they do set menus and pre theatres

Ordered a King donner kebab and received it relatively quickly, only to receive less than a handful of donner meat in the pizza box and this was meant to be a 'king' the meat itself looked as though it had been lying for days and was basically rubber, phoned up was told they'll send more out, waited half an hour for more to come only to open the box with 'fresh' meat to be greeted with a thick layer of fat and grease at the bottom of the container. Will definitely not be ordering again.

Food was freezing cold when it arrived.

Love the food, but the delivery was a joke. Placed the order at 6.30 and just eat said it would arrive at 7.50, understandable for valentines night, at 8.20 we phoned and order was 'on its way' 8.55 phone again and the order was just coming into our street. Usually good delivery but let it down tonight.

Ordered and had the order time pushed back. 15 mins after this time when Just Eat track said it was no longer en route we called and they hadnt even been out with it to deliver. We only order two kebabs, totally disappointed. Wont be placing another order after waiting 90mins for our food to eventually arrive
