Spice Of Life in North Lanarkshire

Ordered 10" grill box. Meat was good, especially the chicken breasts, they were juicy and very tasty, wish there was more of it. Overall the ratio of chips to meat was decent. Chips were average. Would order again.

Total discrase as itsaid deliverd for 20 mins and the driver had no ticket and drove about to regulars and myfood is freezing

Must admit never had a hoagie using a wrap, always came with naan, but this was lovely, food amazing, quickly arrived, really enjoyed it

Onion bahajis were burnt. Chips were not good quality. Lamb was tough.

Food was delivered to wrong house, by the time we got it the food was cold. Normally no issues with this place and food is good, let down on this occasion by poor delivery staff. Phoned restaurant and they offered to replace order, pity about delivery staff.

Food is good. Order was later than expected but they did adjust the time on the app. I asked for a tub of Korma sauce and I would pay extra if required, driver said I owed £6 - complete joke. I paid it however it’s a nonsense to charge that to an already £21 order - no meat, just sauce for £6. Fleecing jokers.

I must say the delivery girl from Spice of life has one kind heart. A girl from Coatbridge really upset took her home..we tried to get her a taxi but this girl went above and beyond took her home … well done. If that was my daughter I would be grateful for making sure she got home ok … 5 stars 🌟

Missing garlic Mayo and pink sauce

Possibly the worst Indian takeaway I’ve had,

1 can of coke and 1 can if irn bru missing from order

Food on par yet again. Portion was huge. Tasted amazing. Plenty of salad too

1 pizza was decent . The other pizza fell apart each slice been took looked absolutely terrible like a big soggy mess

I always enjoy the chicken korma from here. But tonight, it was very watery.

I had a bbq chicken kebab with salad & sauce. The worst kebab I have ever eaten & there was literally 12 strands of salad. Absolutely gobsmacked. Never will I come back here for an order again.

All the kebab meat tasted weird, hard to explain but no one ate the food with kebab it just tasted off and was overly greasy

you delivered the wrong meal .I ordered chicken Tikka .( Chicken pieces and a sauce in a seperate box with rice. we received small pieces of chicken in a sauce. Not what we wanted.

Pizza wasn't hot,base was overcooked,delivery was over 30 mins late despite ordering early and booking delivery for a specific time.

Ordered a lamb chicken tikka and donner hoagie, chips were brown and horrible,it was missing the lamb. The donner meat was dried out with very large gristly bits in it. The meat had obviously been sitting out for a while before it had been served. I’m not usually fussy with food and will soldier on and eat something. But I literally couldn’t eat a quarter of this due to how bad it was. Even the garlic mayo’s and chilli sauces tasted off. It’s a real shame because this used to be a good takeaway but it has went downhill in recent years. Sorry to say but they’ve lost a customer in me. 0/10 for effort

Food was over 30 mins late. I waited one hour and 25 mins. Everything was totally cold and couldn’t be eatin. The chips were left over crumbs black and hard. The pizza was also cold with the thinnest layer of chicken. When I called the restaurant I was told my food left a long time ago. They said it would be another 45 mins for another delivery. Then said they wait 3 weeks for just eat money so I should take it up with them to get a refund. Terrible service and terrible food

Terrible. Embarrassing for the old reputation of Spice of Life. Hardly any chicken in the dish. I remembered after the last awful experience they clearly serve up smaller low quality dishes at the weekend for the pub customers etc. Sad to see how far Spice of Life has gone down over the years. Never again. Much better Indian takeaways in Bellshill.

Enough is enough. Awful food from a once proud Indian takeaway in Bellshill. Gave them yet another final chance but food was terrible. Hardly any meat in the curry. Never ever again.

Everytime we order through just eat, we wait over an hour for delivery. Advised 30-40 min wait when order was placed, now over an hour and still not received the food. Will not be ordering again.

The food has deteriorated in this establishment. Tonight the lotta bread was saturated in grease. The meat was like card board and even the sauce was disgusting. As a regular customer I can assure you I won’t be using this shop again.

Have had a few good experiences and noted this feedback at the time. Tonight the meal was disappointing, chips were mostly hard and soaked in oil. In fairness after speaking with two of the staff a fresh “cooked” portion was dispatched. Ordered a curry that has onions and green peppers these were uncooked and crunchy. Just not enjoyable on this occasion as they really need to be softened by cooking.

Driver left food outside door never chapped the door (that’s the door with the letterbox on it) and when it got to the end of the delivery time I went to look outside and low and behold it was lying outside and it was stone cold I won’t be ordering here again. Note for future tell your driver to chap the letterbox

Things not to buy. Don't buy the munchy box . It's mostly chips and the smallest bits of kebab you have ever seen. You are lucky to even get a bit of chicken pakora. Plus its all mega dry. Don't waste your money. Don't buy any curry as they are all crap and very very small portions. The prices in here do not reflect the portion size. Their pizzas are ok. But the prices yet again are way too high. Sometimes they make the pizza perfect. But there's other times where its all soggy and like mush. I would avoid this place at all cost. Only shop here if you are really desperate and there's nowhere else open. Otherwise avoid it.

Used Spice of Life before for curries etc and has been good. Decided on the scampi and the chicken Maryland for a change. Definitely was not proper scampi. It was some sort of grey fishy paste pumped through a tube and cut into short lengths. This may have been produced using prawns but wasn’t pleasant and not what you expect when you order scampi. Don’t want these comments published as a review or anything as previous orders have been good, but hope spice of life can check what they’re ordering from their suppliers.

Unfortunately on this occasion the panoramic was mainly inedible. It was tough and rubbery. Very disappointed. Food is normally excellent but very, very poor in this occasion

Wasn’t up to scratch tonight at all. Well at least the hoagie I had wasn’t. Ate a little then it got binned. Usually amazing but was off tonight, was so oily/greasy and before anyone comes at me I get it’s a hoagie it’s not a salad but I usually get it and it’s great but there was puddles at the bottom of the tub.

And they wont even let you buy a single burger they make you have a meal so for a single burger you will be paying 6 pounds shocking and food quality shocking

Ordered at 10inch munchie box. Box was mostly full of chips, hardly any kebab meat. Says online you get a pitta bread so I ordered an extra one and when it arrived I only had one. When I called the shop they said you only get pitta with a grill box yet online it distinctly says pitta with munchie box. They also apparently charge £4.50 for delivery even within a mile or two.. pakora was overdone, chips were cold and the box was mainly full of chips and salad. Certainly the last time they will rip me off,!!!!!!!
