Spavens staff are willing to go the extra mile to help customers. I needed two big boxes of cherry chocolates, they went out of their way to make sure I got them. I can highly recommend Spavens.

We loved it. Delicious pancakes and ice cream and the milkshake so good. Had fun painting out glas and then went on to fill it with candy. Thank you!!!

Great place for the kids to do something different. Staff are just lovely and are there to help and advise all the way. Came home with a lovely painted sea horse and elephant.

Popped in here on the way past, and what a selection. Everything from posh chocolates to lucky dips, and an enormous array of old-fashioned sweet jars. I didn't know there were so many varieties of liquorice. Staff are really friendly, helpful and patient. We will be back

Fantastic place for children with a great, relaxed atmosphere.

The best place for old fashioned sweets and lovely staff! They do amazing pancakes, loads of ice cream in various flavours and amazing tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Everyone who works there is friendly and lovely. The parties/packages are fab and the pot decorating is fab. Nothing bad to say about "The Magic Sweet Shop"

I would give even more stars if I could! We were walk-ins and it was for my dad’s birthday, Rhian went above and beyond to fit us in! She also surprised us with a little candle in the crepe he ordered. The painting and crepe deal is an incredible offer and the staff made us feel more than welcome. I can only recommend this wonderful shop for its kind and enthusiastic staff, great prices and cosy environment. Will absolutely be back again! ❤️

We visited here for our sons 13th teenage party, he absolutely loved this place as so we! He had an awesome time, really loved it, staff were lovely, we've visited here many years, and always recommend to friends. Next time think we might do an adults only party! 🤣🤣

Spavens is a delightful little haven that sends you back to those glorious childhood Sundays in your local sweet shop. Walked in and immediately felt like a kid in wonder again. The owner is super kind and welcoming, very patient with indecision in customers, and went above and beyond to ensure we were making informed selections and getting the best value. I believe they also cater parties, woop woop :) Huge variety of confectionery available, including specialist licorice, pick 'n' mix, handmade fudge, ice cream, and it's all very reasonably priced. Was also ecstatic to discover they cater to dietary restrictions such as lactose intolerance and coeliac disease, so if you've been missing out on ice cream for years like me, this is for sure the place to go! :D

We stumbled across Spavens whilst having a family weekend break and wow, what a wonderful place. The staff were so friendly to both us and even more so to our dog. We had a dessert here and it was wonderful. The visit was a highlight of our weekend and if we are close again we will definitely be calling in. Thank you

Great place to visit with the kids. Staff are very welcoming and service is great even during a busy half term. First we designed our jars then we filled them with sweets, the staff were very helpful. Then they took our order for crepes, ice cream and drinks. It didn't take long for them to arrive, they were very tasty and hot, I highly recommend them. Great place to get a bit creative and lots of sweets to choose from.

Went to Spavens in Mold for my leaving do on Thursday 27th Feb 2020. Had an amazing time, pancakes were yummy, the ice-cream was gorgeous, bubblegum and rum and raisin are my favourite!! If you want a giggle with your mates around a table painting pottery, then this is the place to come! And, you get to pick your own sweets too, what more do you want ... A great night, thank you to the amazing staff we couldn't of done it without you !! Cheers, see you soon XXXXX

What a wonderful place. Row upon row of traditional sweets are on display as you walk through the door. Certainly a hit with the child inside me! Superb ice cream - delicious flavours. Certainly worth a visit with children or as an adult for a walk down memory lane.

Great place staff very friendly. We go every year for our Xmas eve crafting and sweet selection. Kids love it even though they are getting older.

Had my little girls birthday there and her and her friends loved every second. Their eyes lit up with all the sweets they could put in their newly designed jars and take home with them as well as painting their own money boxes. That's before the slush, pancakes and ice cream!! Thank you for a wonderful experience and real value for money

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. If you can't find something you want I'm here then there's definitely something wrong. The craft sessions and parties for kids are also brilliant and thoroughly enjoyable.

AMAZING everyone was so friendly

Came in on spec to be met with a warm welcome. We sat and painted a dragon and an elephant, had some coffee and a crepe before getting some pick and mix. Huge selection! Went back to collect them after they had been glazed. A fab time and wonderful staff

Another brilliant night at Spavens! What's better than drinking your own alcohol in a sweet shop surrounded by your friends acting like kids! Pancakes, ice cream, as many sweets as you can cram into a beaker, popcorn and candy floss!! Not forgetting the all important painting an item of your choice in any colour you choose. It's an amazing experience every child should have opportunity to enjoy. Ladies in the shop are extremely lovely and welcoming. Food and ice creams taste delicious. Great choice of items to colour.

A fun place to go with family a bit crowded but plenty of sweets to pick a mix from and things to do.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. The kids love it and it's great to catch up over a coffee whilst the little ones and bigger ones are fully occupied.
