Spaghetti Junction in Derry

We went for dinner this evening (thursday night) and really enjoyed ourselves. From the moment we walked in we were met by the most kindest staff who looked after us brilliantly. You can see the passion the staff have in their work. The food was beautiful. The decor was very unique and made us feel we were in italy ourselves. We will definitely be back when visiting again. Thank you to all the staff, apologies we forgot your names.

Amazing food and amazing service

Had one the nicest vegan pizza's at spaghetti junction. Service was great and pizza was so authentic really recommended.

Decor and Furnishings were a bit off-putting for me personally. I can definitely see what they're aiming to do but for me it just feels a tad tacky. Others may love it though?! The service was very good. Two older gentlemen and two young staff worked the floor the evening we visited on 16th Feb. The young lad was very professional. The food I received was really disappointing unfortunately. Starter of Calamari & Prawns - poor presentation and absolutely zero flavour. Even when covered in salt+pepper it was still terrible. Seafood Linguine had 3 Calamari Rings, literally one prawn and some tiny muscles. The Langoustine was more for decorative purposes it was that small and probably had a thumbnail worth of meat in it. The Pizza ordered was very good and another person had Bolognese which they enjoyed. The Entertainment by 'Bruno' was really enjoyable and definitely made the night. Would I go back based on what I ordered - unfortunately not. It's worth a visit for the Entertainment though.

I was very happy with everything until the bill was issued to our table, we were charged for another bottle of wine which we did not receive, the wine he put onto our bill was more expensive than the one we received and when I confronted him about the issue he said sorry it was a mistake. This was his response, I thought the wine was the table beside you, but when I checked the table beside me, it was a completely different wine that was charged to our bill, so then I knew he was trying his luck on us to receive more money, probably because I was slightly tipsy? Who knows. My husband and I always check the bill, because this has happened before to us in other restaurants. So..... I confronted the owner and he said it was a genuine mistake but I said as a business person myself, I know what is correct or not correct, so I said to him that I was very unhappy with this and that it was not a genuine mistake on the restaurant but the restaurant trying to receive extra money and hoping I would not notice, As a business woman myself , I see when people are ready to pay their bill and never check the bill amount, so make this your issue when purchasing any meal or item before you pay. Had a lovely meal but I would not return because of the restaurant trying to over charge me. So people always check your final bill 💸.

We had night in spagetti junction with my family. OMG it was amazing ... the staff were amazing and entertainment was 110% .....1 of 13 of us ordered a pizza and it didn't come but we shared 😀

What a fab place! I was there as part of a group of 12. The food was delicious, the music brilliant, Bruno was singing, and the atmosphere fantastic. The staff are brilliant from explaining the items on the menu to recommendations on what to try. I will definitely go again.

Good atmosphere Service reasonable although I had to ask for my side order twice which got delivered after the main course was eaten. They also never came back for follow up drinks. Had to ask more than once. Food was truly awful. Tiny portions and display was terrible. Tasted very average. I’d go here for atmosphere only. Definitely not the food.

Spaghetti Junction Derry What a nite!!!!! Our first time at the restaurant and it did not disappoint .... We had an absolute ball... Staff ... friendly funny & so attentive ... Food was unreal , cooked to perfection, tasty warm and plentiful... Entertainment, WOW 😱 gobsmacked at the singing, Bruno take a bow, ..u were something else....👏👏👏👏👏👏 could not fault the nite in anyway .... We live locally and had not been to the restaurant. Two sets of friends independently commented on the good meal they had recently so we decided to go. We will definitely the back!! The food was beautiful. We chose two chicken dishes with beautiful vegetables. The flavours were delicious. They recommended the wine snd it complimented so well. Thank you

We visited spaghetti junction on a busy Saturday at end of September. As per some comments below it does not look much from the outside but once inside you feel like you are transported to Italy. Menu is typical Italian and with 10 in our party a wide range of started came on all to an excellent standard. We then had mains again a wife variety of pasta, pizza and meat and all excellent. Waiting staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. As we were finishing startera the entertainment started with Bruno on the microphone. He started slowly but by the time we had finished all 10 of us plus the rest of the restaurant and waiting staff were up dancing to his array of songs. Highly recommended. Food excellent.

We’ve been here numerous times, great value for money, staff are excellent, food is superb - portion sizes are overly generous. Never had a bad meal or experience in all the years I’ve been coming. Highly recommend

Exaggeratedly Italian, a place for foreigners looking for a bit of Italy, average food, friendly staff.

A nice restaurant and a pleasant dining experience, very central. Staff pleasant, alert and efficient. Antipasto and lasagne excellent…expensive seafood ravioli tasted is if it had been frozen. Pizzas at next table looked great. Wine selection good, draught beers available. Appearance of restaurant outside poor, looks like a take out.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Derry with a great Italian atmosphere (with photos and Italian mandolin music) and delicious food. We had orange chicken and fettuccine bolognese along with the tiramisu. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Wow. Simply amazing atmosphere. Friday night singer was incredible. Such a fun night Thank you for finding a spot for us. 5 stars. Try the montelpuciano red wine as well as the best teramisu in my life.

We had dinner here at the weekend. I had pizza which was delicious and my husband had pasta which he enjoyed very much. Service was excellent even though the restaurant was packed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I will be back.

Always a fabulous time at Spaghetti Junction and last night was no exception. The authentic and beautiful decor transports you to the beauty of Italy, the friendliest and very professional owners and staff, the delicious food and the outstanding and wonderful voice of Bruno makes for a very entertaining and truly enjoyable time. No wonder it has become so popular and is a favorite with its many returning customers. I will be back!

This place is a true gem. The food is amazing - definitely authentic Italian. The owners are funny and charming and will work to make your experience excellent. The location is historic too - right in the middle of the Bloody Sunday area. Great value too.

We are not Italians who usually go to Italian restaurants abroad but we let ourselves be tempted and left satisfied.

As we walked through the doors of Spaghetti Junction, we left Derry and arrived in Italy 🇮🇹 Greeted by a lovely Italian man, Walter, who guided us to our table through the perfect interior decor which made us feel like we were dining in the streets of Sicily. We were waited upon by another brilliant Italian man, Max, who was very fun yet efficient. The food, cooked by an amazing Italian chef, was unreal and all the staff were fantastic, always ensuring everything was great for us. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we were blown away by one more amazing Italian, Bruno, who entertained us with a mix of Italian classics and 80’s music. We danced the rest of the night away until 11. We then left Italy, returning to the streets of Derry with the biggest smiles on our faces. What a night! Thank you to all at Spaghetti Junction for our mini trip to Italy 🤍

We ordered pasta dishes and it was very good. The curious place, let's leave it here. But we enjoyed the pasta. Extensive range of both pasta, pizza and antipasti. Recommended. We've had enough with the pasta dish.

This is a family run restaurant and we loved it and were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. While we didn't have a booking they were able to fit us in. The atmosphere was excellent, the service was just right and the food was absolutely amazing from the starter all the way to the deserts! Probably the best Italian we have been in outside of Italy. Definitely well worth a visit!

very yummy food and very attractive waiters ! came after a very long tiring day and i was very sad and i left very happy . the owners r very nice and i told walter his staff were attractive and he was like “i’ll tell them” and he turned and screamed “ADAM” . 10/10 i would come everyday if i was irish this is my favorite place in ireland

We had the loveliest night for my friends birthday at spaghetti Junction last night. From greeting on arrival to service, the atmosphere and the food..everything was perfect. The music was a delightful addition which made the night even more fun and enjoyable. We will definitely be regulars here.

If you want genuine Italian restaurant experience away from Italy, this is a must! Food was perfect! Had too much sauvignon blanc and was very merry after haha! Apart from their nespresso coffee, everything was great! I mean I was expecting Italian coffee but who would go here anyway just for coffee. Haha! Staff were very nice as well! Their interior is class!

Unexpectedly nice. Had the daily special porcini risotto. It was one of the best risotto I ever had, and I don’t normally like risotto :) Pizza base was diff than usual but still nice. I prefer the pasta selection.

Just back from a meal this evening the place inside is lovely and authentic you would think you were in Italy ! The service is good and The food was a taste of ltaly absolute quality seafood linguine was excellent along with the pollo pasta and bruchetta couldn't fault anything I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Derry.

Whenever I'm in Derry I try to book (well in advance 'cos its so popular) as apart from the delicious food, the ambience and the authenticity of this little gem ..there's Bruno! Bruno with a voice so stunning he can sing anything from 'That's Amore', 'Ave Maria' etc etc to 'Physco Killer' !! 👏👏 This is not just a restaurant its an 'Experience'. Nice atmosphere, staff were nice/friendly food was poor. 2 Italian gentlemen running the place but food had no garlic at all. Had to ask for black pepper and olive oil. Very poor imitation of an Italian restaurant.

Went there for a birthday dinner. I got the chicken and chorizo penne pasta. My mum got the lasagne and then 5 others got pizza. My pasta was tasty. And I liked how it was good portion. Although very salty. No need to have salt...

My wife had what she enthusiastically called "the best carbonara I've ever had" in this busy Italian restaurant. This isn't a quiet romantic Italian but you'll get good solid Italian pasta & pizza with efficient service at a sharp price.

The restaurant environment is beautiful and very comfortable, which makes me relax in a boring life.
