Courteous staff, the atmosphere was warm and relaxing and the food was delicious! I also enjoyed the artwork and paintings displayed. A wonderful experience for someone trying Moroccan food for the first time

We feasted ! Delicious and very hearty tagine and couscous. Walid and Reda were very helpful and friendly, they speak several languages ​​including French which is a real plus.

Disappointed, we went for iftar, even though the staff was nice, It was expensive for what it was. mashed potatoes bourek, tiny and tasteless. The tagines were ok but not presented in tagine pots as some pictures would suggest. I asked for extra chips, I was brought a portion of frozen chips which costed £8. Tea was good but the cakes were left overs or the last pieces of a box or what ever it was. This place needs to improve.

Delicious, fresh and authentic food! We had the Labneh Zaatar & fresh pitta, mixed grill, grilled sea bass & the knafeh for desert. Everything was amazing. The mint tea & casablanca lager was also delicious! A relaxed vibe & friendly service! Only thing is that it was a bit cold in there! Surprised it wasn’t busier

Booked out the Casbah as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. Chose the place as some of my party were fasting for Ramadan but others would want to drink, and anybody can Shisha. Was not disappointed. Decor is beautiful and atmosphere was fantastic. By email Samir was very helpful in making sure all our needs were met, and arranged for us to allow a few guests in early for their prayers and a generous Iftar meal before we ordered drinks and started our courses. We were very comfortable considering the amount of people and it was easy to hear each other. They didn’t rush us at all and we were able to chat as much as we wanted. We booked for 2 hours but they let us stay as long as we needed even though it was a busy Saturday night. All the staff were attentive and we had no trouble ordering drinks or getting service or attention despite being tucked away in a small room. We enjoyed our 3 course meals thoroughly and they gave us the “happy birthday” treatment when we asked for the birthday cake to be brought in. It felt intimate and private despite good staffing. Very happy.

Amazing Moroccan food and sisha n lovely surroundings, like being transported. We had the meze platter, tagine and mixed grill. Good for a bite before or after a show (we went after Choir of Man at Arts Theatre only a couple of minutes away).

The food was terrible. The people were okay. We went for the iftar meal and only had the soup as it was awful. We ended up getting charged £11 each for a tiny portion of soup. Not recommended. Please avoid.

I had lunch here with with my partner. We had the Marrakesh set menu. Food was delicious. Lovely cosy restaurant too. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately not the best experience went for my birthday, resturant was freezing then heating was put on as requested for 20 minutes,they made mistakes with the meal that had to be corrected 3 times then gave us the wrong order. Food was,nt hot , very very disappointing

Lunch with 2 friends on the tastecard offer. We chose the ‘Marrakesh set menu’ lovely food, very generous portions. Facilities very clean. Very good friendly service. I didn’t catch our server’s name but he was a lovely man. Will definitely return!

A jewel of a restaurant right in the heart of the theatre district. Serving real Moroccan food at sensible prices. We had the Marrakesh feast set menu, loads of super tasty food, I highly recommend the lamb tagine, bottle of wine and a piña colada with service charge came to £143.

The perfect place to eat before or after the theatre, we had hummus and flatbread to start followed by Beef tagine’s. Excellent quality packed with flavour.

The atmosphere is great, so is the food. The service is extremely slow. Avoid in case of extreme hunger.

Really lovely restaurant and great customer service. Our waiter kindly double checked the spice level with us and offered for the kitchen to remake if it was too hot. It ended up being perfect!

Came for lunch at this place in September for the first time. After lunch I went with my friend for an ice cream and came back for baklava and shisha. I brought my husband for his birthday in December. Came back with other friends in January. Do you see where I'm going? When you come back so often there can only be good things to say about a restaurant. Food is SO GOOD, staff are super friendly, and the restaurant itself feels so authentic!

Horrible service, mediocre food. Rude staff, sticky tables. We booked with a Tastecard, confirmed booking. After we had to chase the staff to pay they argued with us that we can't use it. The Tastecard terms state you only need to mention at the time of booking, which we did. The staff then gave us a mouthful as to why he wasn't able to add the discount to the bill, because we didn't mention it as we walked in. We were left alone for most of the food, having to wait 20 minutes for drinks and had to look for staff to ask for the bill. Waiting staff were extremely rude like were were inconveniencing them for being there. Never ever go back, would not advise anyone to go. Food was mediocre at best , service disgusting and tables sticky.

I loved my dinner at souk last week with my family, the food is phenomenal and walid was one of the best waiters I've had, quick, professional, and very approachable and the chef over delivered when it comes to his service speed and the craftsmanship that goes into making that delicious Moroccan food I would highly recommend that place and especially the fish tagine is a must.

The star of the show here is the venue itself, it’s super cosy with a fantastic book right at the back! The food is varied and there’s options for meat eaters and vegans which makes it a nice place to go for all types of people at the same time. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Food has good flavours and generally seemed a decent quality for the price, I’ll be back for sure.

What an amazing place! I had lunch here today with a friend, and as someone who grew up with authentic Moroccan food, let me tell you - this is it! From the food to the furniture to the music, everything in this place is true to Moroccan cuisine and culture. A special thank you to the waiter, Walid and the chef, Sidi Ali as they did an incredible job in making us feel welcomed! Would give 10 if I could!

We've nipped in for shisha and tried the electronic one. Not exactly great to be fair but it's an option for indoor vaping. The owner is great, very friendly, chatty and polite. The desert was amazing, definitely recommend 👌🏻

The food was amazing ! Tagine was not as good as what you get in Morroco, but still really nice for London. Hummus lacked slight salt but its good for those with hypertension - so no complaints. Really nice vibe ✨️

My husband I visited on a Sunday evening using a Groupon voucher for a Royal Feast. The food was excellent, the venue had good decor and a nice atmosphere - the server was friendly. Much enjoyed.

I've visited souk a few times and I previously loved it. However, the location has changed and the venue is very small and cramped and looks very run down. The food was still great but we did have a couple of issues. The glassware wasn't clean, table was only set for 7, not 8, we couldn't fit our good on the table, so was using spare chairs for overflow bowls of food, the mojito was just sprite with a whole lemon inside. Also the table next to us was quite literally right next to us, you couldn't got between the tables. We were offered to sit upstairs for a slightly bigger table, but we did refuse, because it was cold up there due to the doors being wide open and a rainy day. Part of the novelty of attending this place was because of how stunning the old location was, and unfortunately that novelty has gone. However, the staff are still friendly as ever.

Came here for a family dinner and the service was amazing, the man with the red fez (Samir) was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Thank you :)

Superb restaurant, had the lamb and chicken tagines with cous cous for main courses as part of a 4 course set menu. All the food was delicious, big portion sizes, we could barely finish. Hummus, halloumi, and yoghurt with bread for starter, Baklava for dessert was great too and finished off with a nice mint tea. Interior is lovely, very authentic Moroccan, relaxing and vibrant atmosphere. Amazing value for money, using Tastecard. Service was outstanding and friendly from Mehdi and Walid. Thank you guys, we will be back again and reccomend this place to everyone.

We had the spring rolls, eggplant dip, sour lamb tagine and it was all lovely food.. Everything was cooked to perfection and a great mix of flavours that really came together as expected with this cuisine. A really nice feel to the site too and very friendly service..all up, with two beers, it was less than £60.

Was an extremely lovely evening from the start to finish; we arrived with two large pieces of luggage which the servers placed elsewhere to keep them out of the way. Tony & Mehdi, were very helpful and equally welcoming; joining us for a chat about all kinds of things, this great level of service was also reflected in the food which was prompt, warm and extremely delicious! They also took into account allergens and preferences as well as providing us with recommendations! could not recommend a place more, will definitely be returning! Also the atmosphere and interior was gorgeous, immersive and reminded us of our time in the maghreb.

Absolutely the best tangine I’ve ever had. So delicious! The staff was kind and very accommodating, and the vibe is just lovely. So good!

I very rarely give poor reviews but frankly this is the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of going to. Came here for dinner, got the ineptly named feast set menu. The portions were tiny. It says “feel free to ask for refill of hummus”. When we asked for further refill we were told that “if we kept getting refills there would be no hummus left for anyone else”. There were no other people there on a Saturday night. The mixed grill was dry slabs of overcooked meat with mushy rice. A friend of mine has a nut allergy - they told us we would have to swap for a SINGLE SLICE of chocolate cake between FOUR people instead of just swapping my friend’s portion of baklava for chocolate cake. We were then all charged full price despite my friend not having dessert which is part of the set menu we paid for. In summary, unpalatable food, horrendous service and zero hospitality. Quite literally not even a single redeeming quality for this absolute travesty of a “restaurant”.

Great, authentic Moroccan food that does not fail to satisfy. The service was super friendly and helpful. Not very busy when we went for a late lunch on a weekday and it's always a nice atmosphere.

We were craving Moroccan food but unfortunately this place disappointed us. It’s really a shame to serve a tasteless food that looks like leftovers. The meat was hard and dry and the couscous was worse than the one you get from Tesco. They even have service charges on top of their expensive prices that don’t even match the poor quality. Very very very disappointing.

Expensive for what was a very average home cooked tagine and cous cous. No depth of flavour at all, meat was nice and tender but sat in clear light broth, no herbs or spices. Restaurant was small and tired, current photos not applicable to the Litchfield covent garden location. Service was quick and friendly. More a gimmick for tourists than a taste of northern africa.

Very disappointing experience, we ended up not eating anything they served us. The food has nothing to do with Morocco. I don’t recommend this place at all. The chef is even not Moroccan, but the worst part is that the food tastes like leftovers. I will never come back here again.

I visited Souk last week hoping for a pleasant experience with shisha and food. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, no one greeted or seated us, leaving us waiting for 15 minutes. While the decorations were captivating, reminiscent of Morocco, the lack of air conditioning was uncomfortable. Surprisingly, the main reason for our visit, shisha, was unavailable due to a booked party. It's disappointing that they couldn't accommodate their regular customers. The food arrived cold and unappetizing, and even the coke I ordered was flat. The only redeeming aspect was the tea. Overall, the restaurant's customer service and quality of food left much to be desired.

This restaurant had nice dishes but the wait time for our meals was ridiculously long. My biggest disappointment was the poor security arrangement at the restaurant. For a prolonged period there were no attendants at entrance and this enabled a thief to walk into the restaurant to steal my phone.

I booked the restaurant because I thought that it was the same that I went to few years ago.When I arrived I was surprised because it was a different setting and they gave us a very small table that barely can fit a family of 5.the whole restaurant has barely 5 tables.When I checked with the staff they said that the old restaurant was closed since 2020 but they have still the same food.I looked at the menu and I can tell it is very different. We ordered the set menus that obliged you to to have it double ordered and they the horror started!! The starters are just two tiny balls of falafel and a very salty old hummos that we couldn’t eat.we asked for the mains the 3 tagines was so badly cooked,at the end we ordered the dessert and it was mire than rubbish,if we literally went back home and cooked and omelette because we were startving after payin £130 and ate nothing,they also made no discretion or discount when we complained.Avoid

Delicious Moroccan food and lovely service. Visited for a catch up with friends and our group shared the Marrakesh and Casablanca feasts which we all really loved. Our service was kind and attentive, offering excellent recommendations. I am not sure why others have given low reviews but we loved our experience and would certainly come back.

Staff were not friendly, at first we have been told that it’s full even though there was an empty table outside overall we didn’t feel welcomed there. Plus their “Moroccan Tea” is the worst tea i have ever drank. Never going back there again.

We delight in good Moroccan food. We were not disappointed. The selection was great. Our dinners were all we hoped for. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. I hope your experience will be at least as good.

Honestly, never again. It was quite a lovely experience with friends until it was time to pay the bill. If you’re gonna be offended and intimidate a group of girls as to why we’re asking to remove the OPTIONAL service charge, why even make the service charge optional??? As a grown man, why are you guilt tripping a group of girls? The food was already over priced, and the service was honestly nothing that special; just average.

Amazing staff, great food and the shisha isn’t too bad for the price. Unfortunately, having come here for a while the place is showing it’s age a bit and needs a refurbishment. The shisha tobacco is mostly Al-Fakher which isn’t bad and the price is good for the area. The staff have had a couple of rotations but they’re all good at their jobs.

Visited with friends on Sat 24 June. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived and service started a bit slow and our first drinks took a while to come. But once it got going it was great. The food was amazing. Mixed mezze to start with the yummiest hummus I’d ever had and lovely halumi and falafel and pickled veg and tzatziki. The main courses all went down really well. Hearty portions and really tasty. I had the slow cooked beef tagine which was gorgeous. My friends had chicken dishes which were so large they struggled to finish them.

This is an amazing experience. A little piece of Marakesh in the heart of London. The staff are exquisite and the food is absolutely wonderful . I would whole heartedly, recommend this place.. if not of the belly dancing and the food and the tea and the baklava ...... then, at least, for the wonderful staff who make the experience just so special.

Really disappointed 😞 went last night, ordered the chicken tagine...flavourless, broth with a couple of pieces of chicken, a few olives and a couple of potatoes. Service was awful too and no atmosphere. Gutted we wasted our money eating here!

Souk is a very good restaurant for authentic Moroccan food in the heart of London's West End. From the lamb to the (zaalouk) eggplant, the hummus to the mixed meze and everything inbetween, you won't be disappointed. The decor is splendid and the service excellent. Better still, it's great value for money. Highly recommended.

Lovely small restaurant serving authentic Moroccan cuisine in a nice themed setting. The interior is decorated in a traditional Moroccan style which adds to the ambience of the meal. The set menu portion sizes are generous and there was no need to take advantage of the unlimited houmous/tagine/couscous refills. The food was very tasty and worked well as sharing platters. A nice taste of Morocco. The staff were friendly and attentive, although we were the only diners at the time due to an early table reservation.

This is a pure moroccan restaurant with only moroccan food and decoration , i do not understand why the owner is advertising it as north african including algeria and tunisia and libya when all the dishes are ONLY MOROCCANS! This looks like a scam already, so dishonnest !

The whole experience was bad. The iftar menu was really huge disappointment! Avoid it and save your money while you can!
