Nothing terribly wrong with this cafe, but not sure it deserves the high reviews. We had Saturday morning breakfast here and it was fine - not great, not terrible. I had poached eggs, and asked for them to be cooked soft. They weren't and what's more they were cooked in those little containers, rather than properly, free style. The staff are very friendly and the coffee was good, but the breakfast itself ? Meh .......

The food was really excellent quality for a greasy spoon and with some excellent service. Would recommend their Monster breakfast, great value for money

The Glengower Hotel

02/06/2019: A large pub at the north end of the seafront, near the cliff lift. There was a fine selection of cask ale and real cider and there is a discount for CAMRA members. The service was pleasant, and although we didn't eat the menu looked interesting and the portions looked generous. Good view out to sea if you choose the right table.
02/02/2019: A little off the beaten track the Glengower is towards the end of the promenade as you head towards the cliff railway.

Town Hall Cafe Deli

24/06/2019: Stopped off on our way to the National Trust at Llanerchaeron for lunch. Nice bright deli and cafe with friendly staff. The cheese platter and the pork pie platter were excellent, the cheese one in particular with several local cheeses. They also served a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. A good choice for lunch with toasties, baguettes, sandwiches as well as various platters all reasonably priced. Cakes looked lovely but too full to try. Easy to find on the High Street and plenty of parking either on the main road or nearby car parks.
23/03/2019: A beautifully decorated establishment, with a variety of high-quality, local ingredients. The staff are always friendly, and whilst the prices may be slightly higher than some of the other local cafes, it is worth it for the quality of food you receive. I frequent here every few months, and the food is always of the same high standard.
