Solo Pasta in Eastbourne

We went for our first time visiting Eastbourne. The meal was perfect ,and the new waiter only his second night .was so polite and intentive. We had white bait and squid cooked perfect ,pizza again perfect And my friend asked for antipasti for a main dish ,as she a picker,and they done this for her. Gorgeous food and lovely staff made for a really lovely evening meal. Everything was just perfect. Went on a Monday evening so it was very quiet with no waiting. The young waiter was so lovely. We had a mains, desserts and soft drinks and were more than happy with what we paid. Such great value for money. The restaurant is so very clean and tidy with lovely decor. If you’re planning to visit you must try the Lotus doughnuts for dessert, recommended by the chef and insanely delicious. Will definitely be eating here again.

My favourite Italian in the south east. Was going to say just in Eastbourne, I live in Hove and I rate it better than those in Hove and Brighton. Service is always impeccable, food is always amazing, not had one dodgy dish, and have frequented many times. The food is freshly made, salads crisp and fresh.. No soggy rocket! And have a very good choice of vegetarian dishes. It's a small place with big taste!.... Its not echoey, so you're not deafened by noisy children. So if you want a superb Italian with a nice quiet chilled ambience totally recommend.. My go to everytime I'm in town 😁

Lovely food and atmosphere, loved all the little art decorations dotted about, especially the bird bowl with parmesan cheese. Had meatball starter, melon & prosciutto, carbonara and the vegetarian gnocci, super tasty. Such a shame we were the only people in there on a Saturday night after a larger party left as we were getting our starters. Would definitely go back!

Lovely little restaurant, very varied menu so something for everyone. Star meal was the Spaghetti Marinara, looked and tasted amazing. Also highly rated the calves liver and the Lamb shank. Great service and good value for money.

We decided to go due to Trip Advisor reviews so wanted to share !!! The food is out of this world. I had the seafood spaghetti, it was the best pasta I have ever had, and I went to Lake Garda last year and ate lots of pasta! As the pasta was homemade it wasn't stodgy or too heavy. There was loads of seafood and a little twist when it came out. My friends had lasagne's, calves liver, ravioli and all said how amazing it was. The starter of chessy garlic bread was amazing too. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and the restaurant was set out nicely so you aren't sitting on top of each other. Thank you for a lovely evening and meal. When I next visit Eastbourne you are a must go to!

So four of us popped out for any early Friday evening dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The service was so friendly and, with only about 25 covers, you really feel like you’re a guest at someone’s home. Two of us has the 2 course menu at less that £20 a head and the two wives asked for variations to the menu that they were happy to accommodate! All the food was beautifully presented and delicious, as was the house Montepulciano, it was lush. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a lovely mid-week dinner at Rossi's. The restaurant is cosy and intimate, and we received a warm welcome from the owner, especially when we were the first to order the new winter special dish, which was a fish stew cooked under a pastry crust. It contained monkfish, mussels. clams, baby squid and more, and was absolutely delicious. We also had the 3 meat cannelloni, which was full of chunks of meat in a delicious sauce, and very filling. It was nice that the owner was keen to have honest feedback on the meals, especially the new dish, and we could only say good things,, as it was all excellent. We haven't been here for a while, but would go again and would definitely recommend.

We attended for dinner on a Monday night. Food very much towards the low end of average and appeared to be more of a takeaway. Spinach cannelloni was best of the bunch but would not bother ordering any of our other dishes again. Soft drinks expensive considering they are poured from a large plastic bottle, not a can or individual glass bottle. Service was, however good, but not enough to compensate for the rest of the experience. Disappointing and would not return.

Lovely restaurant friendly and welcoming and the cannelloni was the best we’d ever tasted and good value. Really enjoyed our late lunch.

Once again TripAdvisor came thru with a recommendation for an Italian meal. The service was excellent and they were more than happy to add extra items to my wife’s pizza. I had the lasagne with egg and it was perfect. There are other restaurants in the town but why take the chance when this is truly authentic . The reviews speak for themselves and well done to our waitress who was amazing.

Came here with family and friends for a lovely lunch out. The service was welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the marinara and I really enjoyed the fresh sea food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely impromptu lunch at this authentic Italian restaurant. My pizza vegetarians was really tasty and my husband particularly enjoyed the impressive spaghetti marinara as recommended by the chef.
