Fabulous food, great and friendly staff, Definitely worth a visit nothing too much trouble for the staff, and the food 3 enormous tapas great value.

Loved it. Had the 3 for £18 tapas. Absolutely delicious. Every dish. Generous portions. Very pleasant surroundings. Top quality staff. Looking forward to coming back and exploring the menu.

Food was to die for. So much choice and not too expensive. Everything tasted so good. We were 4 people and we ordered 3 dishes each and just shared it. Highly recommend you get the Greek salad, the satay chicken, the calamari, the ribs, the goats cheese and finally, the mocktails are gorgeous!

Probably our favourite restaurant in Crosby! We've tried nearly everything in the last three visits and enjoyed it all.

Such a lovely tapas, best I've had for quite a while. Cannot recommend enough the bang cauli, the goats cheese and the mussels. Will definitely be back.

I booked for two was presented with a small high bar table and expected to eat there The deal was not really a deal as most dishes had a £3 supplement and we're talking tapas here So we promptly left and went to a restaurant where we were met with a better attitude and much better value for money Won't be going to so salsa again Not the place it was in the past getting too greedy in my opinion

Waited 15mins before anyone come over to take order then another 15mins for food to arrive it was a joke wouldn't recommend at all

Lovely meal. Bit of a mix up with our booking but sorted immediately. Staff really nice, every one friendly and super efficient! Food amazing - 8 tapas between 3 of us. Only just managed to finish them all!! Excellent value for money.

Went for the wife's birthday on a Saturday. Food was absolutely gorgeous - loved it. We got 7x Tapas between 3 of us - me, the wife and our 10yr old - which was just about perfect, with filled churros to finish for the kid. Was the perfect amount for us, big appetites might want to consider 1 or 2 more tapas. Joe looked after us - from calling earlier in the day to confirm our booking, to seating us and looking after us. Promoted the specials, of which we got one. He was spot on from start to finish. Our little one enjoyed a few Mocktails - super tasty. All in - was just under £70 which I consider good value for how good it was. All in all, we loved it and will be going back again soon - good job So Salsa team :-D

The best tapas we've ever had in the UK. Fantastic, tasty and you get quite a bit on each portion too. And if you go on a certain times the tapas are 3 for £18 well worth it. My compliments to the chef and the lovely waiting on people. Will be visiting again and again, etc👍😊

We were not at all happy with our very brief visit. Sunday afternoon and we were looking forward to dining here. We even knew what we wanted to have. Greeted by a young man who offered us the only available table,one that had high table and chairs. We asked if there was another available as my wife finds it difficult to climb onto these chairs due to a spinal problem, There were at least eight empty low tables. Then to add to her already building discomfort we were told in no uncertain terms that the table must be handed back at 6.30 and it was now 5.05 . Please this is supposed to be tapas,its Spanish , sit at the table and eat, talk drink, talk some more and eat some more then carry on talking.its how the Spanish relax and get together with family and friends. Change the attitude, its a well known place to eat so expect walk ins , its not in Spain obviously, but if you profess to being a Spanish inspired tapas eatery, then don't expect people to throw down food and drink, and have a little sympathy, if someone asks for something there must be a reason and nine times out of ten the reason is genuine, and lots of people like us decide to eat in a place because we read the menu in the front window ,which at that given time is the point of sale, where booking is not mentioned neither is a time limit.

I'm breastfeeding a baby with multiple allergies, and it means I need to be careful to avoid those too. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating - I spoke to the chef and we discussed what I could eat and some adjustments were made to the ways things were cooked / prepared. The food was delicious, and even better, my baby hasn't had a reaction, so I'm confident they did what was needed. Thank you!

I used to love everything about this restaurant. The last 3 times I've been have been awful so will not return. The previous 2 times food has been amazing but service was shocking. Last night food was awful, the waitress 'forgot' to take a drink order from 2 of our party. We were also heavily patronised by one staff member- completely unacceptable

Visited so salsa last night, been here many times and the food is nice and arrives quickly. However we always feel rushed when we come here its like they want you in and out. Staff are very friendly and work hard but continually taking your glasses and plates away. It is very annoying and spoils the experience. They constantly come over a bit too much and diffeerent staff. Wont be rushing back. Its a shame as food and location so nice.

Booked for a 6.30-8.00 slot on Saturday evening, arrived on time but had to wait at the rather packed bar area for almost 25 mins while the previous customers over ran their time, not the best start. Ordered a few things and was surprised how quickly they arrived, a bit too quick if I'm honest, quality of the food was average, nothing unpleasant but nothing that stood out either. Can never understand why people give 5 star reviews, they just don't show a true reflection of anywhere, very, very few establishments warrant 5 stars, this would have been 4 without the wait when we arrived.Service was very good throughout and was a pleasant surprise when the drinks we'd ordered at the bar when forced to wait were discounted.

Been going here for years and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Tapas are always served hot and fresh from the kitchen, some dishes can be made gluten free or vegan and we found out today that some dishes can also be MSG-free! Every dish was well presented and so so tasty with plenty of options for vegetarians like me. Highly recommend the mushrooms and asparagus plus my favourite, the butternut squash and feta salad!

Ok let’s start with I’m not a fan of tapas, but people were raving about how good the food was so I went along with the groupIt failed to impress I had prawn pil, pil which was highly recommended, lamb chops and scallops, of the three only the scallops ticketed my taste buds.I was not alone with the disappointment with every other diner at the table, leaving at least one dish, not because they were full, but due excess grease or pure blandness of the dishes The menu and pricing is difficult to judge, some people had menus with individual pricing some not, when the bill came in at over £35 a head (drinks included) I kind of felt like I had been sold a Porsche and delivered a Skoda Not one for me

Have been to SoSalsa loads of times, one of my favourite places. However...,went there today and was so disappointed. They were busy.... the busiest I’ve personally experienced and obviously it showed with the food they were churning out. The absolute personal best dish, the loaded fries we’re appalling. The gravy was gloopy, chips obviously frozen ones and onions were the worst onion rings minus the onion cut up and thrown on. I carnt even go on, will take up too much of my celebration night. Did I tell the staff, No, because no one asked if everything was ok !!!!

Take away next best thing to eating in. We ordered a takeaway recently and it was gorgeous. Obviously not the same as eating in but still amazing. Would highly recommend. We got 9 tapas and the strawberry sangria all for around £49 absolute bargain for such great a quality food.
