The best restaurant in newry we went for tea and the service was brilliant and the food was outstanding. I’ll be back. Thanks to the chef and the waitress that was working on 20/12/23 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was just ok, they didn't have many food options. I only wanted plain bread but unavailable. Not the most welcoming, sorry snaubs but this needs to improve. You are here due to your customers not the other way about.

Lovely venue & decorating, relaxed, chill vibes & friendly service. Love to see it in Newry. I wish more places would conjure up this type of atmosphere in town but the majority of venues are 15 years behind.

Terrible. Received lasagne and garlic bread plus side salad. Terrible burnt and like rubber. Garlic bread was a skinny piece of oiled break salad??? Was a few leaves. My main dish was soooo hot it was like something from a microwave then torched by a heat gun. Needless to say l complained refused to eat it and left.

I was disappointed with the food today. Normally, the food is excellent, but there are a couple of things that weren't right. The goujons lacked any kind of flavour, and there was no dressing on the salad. I know it's not their usual standard, so I'll be back again. The staff and atmosphere are always top-notch.

Had lunch and was fabulous however,vour waitperson seemed overwhelmed and distracted. Will go back though, perhaps it was a bad hair day😊

Very disappointed. This is our usual go to place when we visit Newry and we have never had any problems before. The food is usually very good and the staff very helpful but on this occasion we felt seriously let down. We both ordered fish and chips but were served just chips after a bit of a mix up but we had no problem with that. Unfortunately when we received our meal it was a huge disappointment. The fish turned out to be about 60 % batter with a tiny amount of fish in it, which was almost inedible. We left half the dish behind us and when we went to pay were asked did we enjoy it, to which I replied, " not really, you would have found more fish in a single fish finger " . He replied " oh right " and then proceeded to charge us the full amount. No apology and no deduction. POOR CUSTOMER CARE.

The staff and service were excellent. The food was just perfect. I was particularly impressed by 'Oralith'. She'd just started started working there 2 weeks previous to my visit. She was so professional. I find all the staff warm and friendly. I feel like a regular after 3 visits. There's also another waitress from ? Poland, unfortunately I can't remember her name. She's excellent too.

Tasty Food Excellent Service - visited on a Saturday evening. Plenty of space. We had soup and duck spring rolls to start and chicken curry and scampi for the mains. The server was excellent and the food was served promptly and was very well presented. We enjoyed the food and will return.

Their tapas is unreal!!! The selection was great - it tasted gorgeous!!!!! First time I’ve ate here, and cant believe what I’ve been missing!!!def eating here from now on. Loadsa space, casual dining, the staff so friendly! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!! Great wee gem in Newry!!

omg the desserts at snaubs aRE out of this world. we love love love to call in for a coffee and a cake. we've even ordeered them for our parties at home and for taking to other peoles parties. lemon merigue, cheesecakes, and the apple tart are spectacular!!!

Having spent the morning of Christmas Eve shopping in Newry my wife and I decided to get a light lunch before heading home to prepare the Turkey etc. Being close to Snaubs in Monaghan Street we agreed to try it and boy was it an excellent choice! We went for an Avocado, Prawn and Bacon Salad each with champ/chips. It was simply beautiful and was by far the highlight of our festive shopping day. Staff were really friendly and very attentive which made us feel most welcome. I would highly recommend and cannot wait for our next visit!!

Myself and the family are sunday regulars to snaubs. they always have a warm welcome and delicious food. I love the healthy poached eggs on their own homemade sourdough bread and everyone is catered for with hangover fries, soups for the kids and gorgeous homemade desserts with lovely coffeee

I was in newry for the day on business and called in by chance to this bistro for a breakfast and coffee. I was close by and had enjoyed my breakfast so much I popped back for a pastry at lunch and was surprised when the lovely waitress told me they were open late night with a full evening menu. So I went back for 3rd time in the one day! Duck spring roll to start with the tastiest curry to finish. Highly recommended

We had heard about snaubs for years and booked it for my mums 50 th birthday and we were so not disappointed. My dad had the nicest steak he’s ever had he said. They made such a fuss. Super super

Arranged a birthday dinner for a friend on 15th November. The food was delicious but what really stood out was the service. I wish I could remember the girls name, she was so helpful without being intrusive. I will highly recommend Snaubs in the future.

We held our work colleagues birthday party at Snaubs last Saturday night. Great food in a great wee central location. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Love, love, loved it! I had the fresh salmon whilst most of the others had steak. Everyone happy

Had the most delightful meal in Snaubs last Saturday night. We had 12 of our family and they couldn’t have been more diligent. A few vegetarians and even 1 vegan looked after to perfection. I had the duck spring roll to start followed by the tastiest steak I’ve had in years. Could recommend it enough!

4 of us came from kilkeel too snaubbs for brunch we where not disappointed at all Ursula served us and we had great craic with her .made us feel at home .. We a had the full fry and 4 clean plates where left lol ... all well cooked and the coffee was lovely..

I think the food in Snaubs is lovely anything I've had was very tasty.. On Thursday the 15th November my Aunt, Uncle and myself had our lunch the young lady (I didn't get her name she is in her 20s ) behind the counter was an absolute pleasure she was polite , attentive, cheerful it's been a long long time since I came across anyone so happy in her work and also so good at her job I really hope she is appreciated

Three of us called in for an early meal. Excellent service by Ashleen who created a wonderful experience. Food was first class as usual, Paddy their chef makes exceptional home made burgers. Homemade deserts were a treat. Thanks. We look forward to calling again.

Very impressed, arrived on Sunday to be greeted by the lovely Ashleen, she went above and beyond the drinks and food were excellent. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, we had a great selection from frys to sourdoughs all tastes catered for, the flat whites where beautifully made

Began the week with a fab prawn bacon n avocado salad to counteract the weekend excesses. This 2nd generation bistro has always been a family favorite . Exceptional in maintaining standards for almost 40 years its one of few venues that prepares food from scratch including all its own baked products and excels in healthy eating. My daughter indulged in a home made burger stacked with onion rings, bacon n cheese n chunky home made chips. Although my dish was excellent I was very tempted to join her - mouth watering. One of the best lemon meringues I’ve seen was calling to us to share and didn’t disappoint.

The staff, the food and the convenient parking help make this a cracking place to eat. So, so friendly and very helpful. I recommend the Cinnamon French Toast and crispy bacon. Gorgeous.

I recently had dinner with my wife in Snaubs where I ordered the Scampi which was amazing. A secret recipe so I'm lead to believe with a slight spicy kick was the best I have tasted. The ambiance and staff were extremely welcoming as well as the large slice of apple tart for desert. We will certainly be back:-)

Attended a 40th party were Snaubs did the food. Well it was just fabulous from curry an beef stroganoff, garlic potatoes, every gourmet salad which was amazing!!!! Everything fabulous. Plus the deserts were delicious pavlova always my favourite!!

Although the people who joined me for this meal in Snaubs really enjoyed their meal, mine was genuinely terrible. Something so easy to cool was presented so poorly, very overcooked poached eggs and stingy scrape of avocado on sourdough toast doesn't justify the 7.95 price tag. The Grilled Bacon was nice though.

We had our Christmas party here for the third year in a row and it was just such a great night so it was. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was too die for. Some of us were so full we weren't fit for the desserts so they delivered fresh desserts to the shop during the week after it!

We had a little princess turn 3 recently and family & friends travelled from all over the country to help her celebrate.

You won't enjoy any exotic meals at Snaub's, but the food they provide is delicious and filling. Their homemade desserts are incredible, and staff are friendly and accommodating.

Me & the wife have been going in here for years & I have to say we've never had a bad meal in it yet. Usually in on a Sunday and they have lovely dinners and specials every week. Not too mention a great wee...

The curry in this place is unreal. Been going for years and can't get enough of the stuff. Love getting a wee carry out at the weekend. Proper Chinese style curry, not too hot just right

This used to be a fabulous place to eat but now it's tired and shabby looking. The front of house staff are still excellent and do their best and are very welcoming. However the need for a lick of paint and tiding up the furniture...

Had a family dinner here last week and I had to add a review. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Special mention to the chef for my beautiful steak. Cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth with the pepper sauce and home made chips

Fuimos el viernes pasado con mis hijos y esposa. . Yo tenia fritos y debo decir que como alguien que tiene la mayoría de los lugares en Newry comimos fue de lejos el mejor que hemos probado. A los niños les encantó la comida y mi esposa tenía un huevo escalfado muy bien cocinado. Gran servicio de Ursula que era genial con los niños ill sin duda volveremos más a menudo.

Almorcé aquí ayer con mi hija y ahijada, fue el del restaurante 40 cumpleaños y, sinceramente, es ir de fuerza a fuerza! Se siente como en una casa de amigos de llamar, es tan cálido y acogedor, el personal sabe prácticamente todo el mundo y están verdaderamente interesados en cómo son y qué está sucediendo en sus vidas. La comida es deliciosa, con mucha variedad y buena relación calidad-precio y los postres son para morirse! ! ! Padraig supervisa todo con calma y eficiencia, pero entonces él tenía un excelente profesor.

We love this place so much, we have visited nearly every weekend since we discovered it. The menu is excellent, the staff are so lovely and could not do enough for you. The food is so fresh and delicious, warm doughy bread with the soup- gorgeous!! Highly recommend :-)

Have visited Snaubs a number of times. The service is always great and very obliging. On my last visit I had the Egg Benedict. It comes on a toasted ciabatta, I found it very hard to cut with my knife, it was sooo hard, I would not recommend this dish. All other dishes are lovely, for this reason I have scored a 4.

nice little spot depending what time of the day you go. does a great selection of scones and everything is perfectly pleasant. its very short on table space so tip avoid busy meal times and Saturdays, oh and bring a magazine so you don't get pestered by the lonely regulars or the occasional crazy.

Went here today with mum. I had full breakfast which was gorgeous and mum had Plaice Gougons with champ and tarter sauce. We also had tea and a Coke and all for £15. Will definitely be returning again

This restaurant is always great, service is excellen, and can always be guaranteed great food. Ideal place for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

Waiter was nice. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were hard (bad idea-if the customer didn't specify, they should be done soft and allow the customer to wait or not) and the overall experience wasn't fantastic. I give it 2 stars.

I've been coming to Snaubs for many years and this place just keeps getting better. It is by far the best burger you'll get in Newry and all the food is excellent. The staff are wonderful too, always more than helpful. Ask for Ursula and she will help you out.

Have been visiting this restaurant for many years and have never been disappointed. Curry, soup, scones, breads and desserts in particular all delicious. Menu around Christmas was fabulous.

Called into Snaubs for a bite today with my daughter. I ordered my usual burger and my daughter plaice gougons. As im a bit of a burger fanatic I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation ,service,and taste of which I can only describe as the best burger in newry. I overheard a member of staff tell another customer she had shortbread just out of oven so I had some of the best shortbread ever! My daughter enjoyed her plaice although she said she would have liked a bit more. All in all a very pleasant experience in snaubs and ill be back for a burger!!.

Great food , excellent staff and good value!!! We eat regularly in snaubs and it is always such a lovely clean and inviting restaurant to call into.

Good food, a little pricey though. Nice cosy setting, just outside city centre. Will return again soon

This place has gone down hill very quiockly. scones are stale and small compared to adjoining restaurants in monaghan street no wonder it is so quiet. very pricy also try mc cooeys for better scones and better prices.
