On this visit I ordered a pulled pork burger. And also a kids fish goujon meal. The goujons,which they call baubles were four in number and came with a small chip and a frozen slush drink of your choosing. The burger was so big and heavy and as I asked for extra bbq sauce became a huge gooey mess. I eat less than half,but more my fault than Smokey's. It is a clean friendly and busy place. Recommended.

Always call if in area. Quite a few carry outs in Castlewellan,including a chip trailer,which pays no rates. Seems unfair on those who pay rates etc. Smokeys is Ajbanian/Italian which means good chips. And it dues not disappoint. I like fish so I had fish balls of fresh cod. They call it baubles,I call it goujons. At £4.50 it is fair priced and delicious. I always like to support them. You will not be disappointed with their kebabs etc. Try it.

This is a fish and chip,kebab and pizza place run by a nice Albanian family. This time I took a single cod at 4.50 stg. I was hungry and found it very good. The batter was thin and crifpy and the flesh was flaky and white. Not too long to wait and I recommend it fully.

Was here sometime ago. Because they close Monday and Tuesday I thought they had closed when I was last in the area. Was very busy this Friday night. Chicken flame grilled in front of you. I ordered marinated and flame grilled chicken kebab on nan bread with house and chilli sauce and salad. At 6.50 its a tad expensive. Chicken lovely. Not a lot of salad. Portion size good. Friendly Albanian boss and other staff. Well worth another visit. Hidden gem. Try it.

Tried toscano for the first time tonight, we were so impressed with the quality of the pizza and prices. It is proper authentic Italian pizza. So thin and fresh we will be back again very soon! Staff also lovely and helpful.

31 Main StreetUnfortunately after an average pizza and shared bottle of wine,we were asked to leave. We had exceeded 1hr 20 mins of alloted time we were told, which was not conveyed to us upon booking. I had assumed a 2 hour window as is the norm. I'd asked for a digestif rather than a dessert which was just offered. At that point the manager came over to explain our time, 1hr 20 mins had expired. Even though we'd just been offered dessert. Very rude manager. We left immediately very annoyed. We won't return. The waitress had been amazing. The management let her down.

13 Central PromenadeMy goodness, this pizza is class. Hot honey pizza. Convenient car parking across the road. Good service, I really recommend here, best pizza in Newcastle, hands down.
