Food was fantastic our waitress was Alex she was so attentive nothing was too much trouble would recommend this place for a lovely experience

Awful service place was empty at 14:00 on a Tuesday afternoon and was told they could not accommodate us even though the place was empty. The waiter had said it was the school holidays but there was not a single child in the building.

After writing my review back dec 21 off poor service, yesterday the manager commented on my post and asked me why I drink in there and said I should drink somewhere else , must say the attitude is appalling, my husband is a regular in there so it’s handy as we live near by he enjoys chatting to other regulars.

Shocking place, Shocking staff. Would not recommend & would not go back. Staff were bullies & intimidating. No customer should be treated the way we were treated. Manager snatched my wine glass out my hand all because I bought a pint for my teenage son & I was going to order food. Absolutely disgusting experience never in all my years have I experienced this.

After a bad experience with poor service a few minths ago with friends I said I wouldn’t be back here. Tonight I went in with my husband and daughter, how bad could it be? The place was half full, if that. People behind the bad and from where I was sitting 3 girls waiting table. We were seated instantly and asked what drinks we would like before we sat down, ordered 2 cokes and the girl left instantly and didn’t ask if my daughter wanted a drink (you get one with the kids menu?). 20 minutes had passed and we still hadn’t had our drinks, we understand orders get lost, but after my daughter was getting restless I took her for a walk round the place and the waitress noticed us and said she would be over in just a second. Which she did, she took our orders and still never noticed we didn’t have drinks. Another 15 minutes on top of this and we just left. If you can’t even get drinks how long would we be waiting on food? I completely understand if the place is busy and under staffed. Even to say we are running a bit behind. But as I say, this is a second experience like this and has completely put me off. Staff are not attentive and don’t really seem to care. Shame because the food is lovely.

Last night my wife and I along with our god friend met at this venue to have dinner. Staff were attentive, menu was varied and the portions' were ample! I had the Black Pudding fritters for starters which were slightly greasy but tasty. For mains both the ladies opted for the Chicken Enchilada's and I had the Spicy Chicken Burger all of which were well presented and warm, but too much to finish. Overall worth a visit.

Great food, great service really enjoyed our visit. The staff were really friendly and professional providing really good service. The food was really good and plenty of it. The prices are reasonable making this place well worth a visit.

Nice welcome and very pleasant service throughout, we hadn't booked and despite lots of reservations they managed to fit us in. Food was very good and piping hot, service friendly and attentive, we will definitely be back.

Lovely ambiance. Spotless inside and out could be a fabulous place just disappointing few staff let this place down, sad to say you’ll find better service in Mac Donald’s as after finding a hair in my food you would have thought a simple apology would be right thing to do

I was excited about the food after hearing great things. I was really disappointed. The bruschetta was one of the worst I have ever tasted. Raw white onion and tomato on top of a mild garlic bread. The onion was just too harsh and chopped in to large pieces. Not good at all. The macaroni cheese was even worse. Not cheesy at all and the sauce tasted of uncooked flour. Left all of it and ate 2 slices of garlic bread. We were given a dessert menu to look at and after 15 minutes no one came to take our order so we paid and left. A large party gathering came in so I think they were preoccupied. Wouldn’t recommend and doubt I would return.

Visited for the Just John n Paul Beatles tribute party night, and the accompanying meal was first class. Plentiful and tasty, real fresh vegetables and timely presentation. Staff asking at every course if we were enjoying it - we were! Definitely recommend!

Went here for a family meal and can't fault it. I had the vegetable tempura and buffalo cauliflower (both vegan) and both dishes were really delicious. Also, their espresso martini is the best I have had in ages! Really friendly staff (We had a great laugh when the waitress asked our 46-year-old friend if he had ID, which made his night!)

Went here for dinner as we had arrived a little bit early we were allowed to go in & shown to our table after being temperature checked tables were well spaced out service was great & food excellent quality will return again soon.

My friend and I had a lovely meal. Starters excellent. We both had the fish and chips. Best fish ever..lovely crispy batter with chunky tasty chips. Very attentive staff and reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere too. Well worth a visit.

Make sure you are very hungry before eating here as the portions are enormous. Tasty, freshly cooked food, delivered by lovely, friendly staff.

Yes time yesterday we were looking for somewhere close by to eat. Family were visiting & we didn’t want to get caught in the road works everywhere. Not fancying pizza at the shopping centre & not all liking chicken we. Hose Sixty Ate Bar. I’d been before on numerous occasions & it was usually alright. Fed up with mac cheese I decided to go for a cheese burger As a couple of weeks ago down south I had an amazing burger So I was hoping at least for a good one? I specifically asked for it to be well cooked! Well done the waiter actually said so I agree. I also asked for onion rings to be added with my cheese Mouth was watering as we waited. Unfortunately it was not to be, my burger was not any where near well cooked. My sisters burger was a bit brown looking but she didn’t ask for hers to be well done! If the customer asks for a steak to be well done would it be given rare/medium? I’d hope not. The onion rings were also disappointing as they only tasted of grease! I had had them before & should have remembered & not bothered ordering onion rings but the memory from my burger before was too good & I wanted the same!! Never mind the rest of the table enjoyed their meal. I guess I need to give up on burgers in Scotland & definitely onion rings as well. Hope this helps anyone thinking about ordering burger or onion rings?

The food in here is great always well presented tastes lovely and great value for money.

Went for Sunday lunch today got beef

Had 2 7 year old Kids with us and they loved there fish and chips, I had haggis starter and chicken dish for main it was lovely 😊

Just returned from Sunday lunch must say not overly impressed was served by a rather unhappy member of staff that barely said 2 words, waited rather long for 2 main meals and kids meal didn’t order any starters.Asked for some bread for the table to be told no could only be served garlic bread. Food was ok a bit of a big portion for a Sunday lunch,dessert was ok alright value for the price but staff service let it down. 2 other members of staff girl was quite nice but other male didn’t seem to happy either. Won’t be going back which is a shame as it’s handy for me

I was in Clydebank Library to do some work on the internet, when their connection went down!

Went along to see family members who come here regularly at lunchtime and was happy I did. Smart interior, friendly staff and a good menu. On this occasion I went with the BLT sandwich which was very good, served with a good portion of chips and tasty coleslaw. A couple of desserts were ordered and new one on us was cinnamon tortillas beautifully presented and served with ice cream and toffee sauce. Enough for everyone to get a taste. Definitely worth a visit at lunchtime.

Great night out last night at Sixty Ate Bar & Kitchen watching the Tom Jones & Meatloaf tribute. Top notch food, 3 courses and couldn’t fault anything about it. Great friendly staff who were very attentive and helpful. The entertainment was first class. Amazing guy that does both acts, he was one of the best I’ve seen. I will definitely be back to see him. Heard they have plenty more tribute nights coming up too so will be back to see them for sure. They are definitely great value.

Staff were nice and our food was excellent. I had the fish and chips and it was lovely, no bones or anything and really tasty. The waiter got us everything we wanted and didn't hover about like some do so it was all good.

Food is of average quality and incredibly overpriced. Waiting staff are slow and rather arrogant. I’m 23 and got presented with a children’s menu. Upon showing valid id I was refused alcohol. Food was tasteless.

This is a great place to go either with friends or as a couple, the food is also spot on never had anything to complain about. Definitely good value for money, good on a saturday night too as theres a dj after a certain time. Staff are always happy to help never had any complaints and also happy to return

My wife and I went into this restaurant on Friday 8th feb for an evening meal and a few cocktails, after a considerable amount of time our food eventually came out , my usual “chicken fajitas “ , straight away I knew it was a different Chef , bland .

Very comfortable received great service and food was very good. Nice little find in this area. I arrived a bit early but Andrew the waiter made me feel welcome and even gave me a notepad to write my notes on.

My husband & I went in for a meal as an early celebration for my birthday. The staff were friendly, letting us choose our own table. Bringing us menus & taking a drink order chatting about the weather. Also offering a bottle of water for the table

SixtyAte Bar & Kitchen has been the place to go for me for more years now than I care to remember. I think I can just about remember Whisky Joe's and "Shuggy Wuggy & the crew". SixtyAte is a brilliant bar with great entertainment on Friday's and Saturday's. The place is always clean, the decor is modern and the bar long enough to prevent you from having to wait ages to be spotted and served.

Decent lunch, good friendly service. Recommend roast Christmas ham, morretti too. Very busy bar though.

We pre ordered our Christmas lunch which was served promptly and had our drinks order followed by a lovely dessert the staff were helpful and well mannered lovely meal we will return 10/10

Brilliant night. Meal excellent, well done to all the chefs and kitchen staff. Bar staff kept busy but kept us all well watered. Would recommend the tribute nights, time for all to get into the swing.

We are a group of 5 ladies who meet every month for lunch and a catch up.The menu is great, good choice and reasonable prices.one of the group uses a mobility scooter and has no problem with access.

My wife and attend this bar every Friday for starters and cocktails. On one occasion when we walked in a young girl with the blond hair showed us to our table , no ( hi, how are yous welcome ) never asked if we wanted a drink , just walked away , 20 mins gone bye still nothing , eventually I had to go to the bar and get my own drinks . The girl behind the bar said that she would bring the drinks over , watching her pour them , she sat them on the end of the bar for our lazy ignorant dour faced

We had a very nice meal on Friday night. All the food was delicious, the beer was very good too. The honey chilli chicken was particularly good, nice and spicy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Well the wife and myself took my daughter here for dinner last night not been here in months they have a lot off new stuff on there menu and get again great service and very nice surroundings so think I will defo be back in the next few weeks to try out some more stuff from the menu

Just had a meal in this place. Can't fault the food or the staff. Sadly they failed with the soft drinks prices. £1.10 for a small glass of soda water out of their fountain. Ridiculous price to pay when you see that a gin is only £2.10.

Came here with the family for my birthday dinner. The food was absolutely delicious but unfortunately we waited far too long for our food (40-50 mins). I couldn’t quite believe how long it took but it definitely was worth the wait. My 10 year old son was fed up waiting as were we all. 7 adults and 1 child. I would have given 5 stars had we not had so long to wait.

I went here with my Maw & Sis for Mothers day and had great time , food was wonderful and staff were cool ! we were there for quite a few hours and couldn’t fault anything , 10/10 and I will be back.Thank you for such a great night and the table in corner by the window LHS of the door was perfect.

Went here having not set foot in WJs in 25 years. Had drinks and food on a Saturday night - St Paddy’s night - at 8pm but the place was pretty empty which was odd: food was ok (average pub food really), staff were pleasant and decor was nice enough. Weird it was so quiet.

A group of us visited on a Monday evening for a meal. We pretty much had the place to ourselves but it is a big place and we created our own atmosphere.

Nice comfy surroundings. Music is in the background so you can still have a conversation without shouting.

Usually visit once or twice a month for lunch. The service is usually slow and less than friendly however the food is good.

Regularly eat here and the food is always great. Menu could do with a refresh but the beef and chorizo chilli is a real winner.

I was here for my works Xmas night out last night for the second year running and what a great night we all had. 18 of us were there and there wasn’t one complaint amongst us. Food was lovely with great sized portions many of us couldn’t even finish our dinner! Service was fabb as was the DJ. Great night all round!! And was a lovely touch getting a discount voucher to go back and use in January/February for dinner. Thanks guys

Tuvimos el almuerzo y la cena durante dos días aquí. Excelente opción y muy buena relación calidad-precio, con un personal amable. La comida fue atendida rápidamente, con una sonrisa amable y estaba buenísimo. Los precios eran muy razonables con ofrece diario de precios incluso más razonable.

Popped in here after work with a few colleagues for an after work beverage. It was ‘Black Friday’ and quite busy, every table reserved or occupied. The waitress and fellow staff were great, allowing us to sit at a reserved table until they needed it back, and finding us an extra chair. After a while they found us another bigger table that had been vacated, so we then chose to have some food before heading into the city, we did not regret it. We all had a variety of burgers and they were great, and looking at what other people were ordering around us, all the other food looked great. Couldn’t fault the staffs attitude, when they could have easily been less accommodating during this busy period

Went out for ladies afternoon. Service was terrible. Waiting time between each order was extremely long. Food was average, not worth the wait. Finally after waiting around 30 min for our last round of drinks we went up to the bar and asked them to cancel the drinks, advising them we had waited over 30 minutes, for 3 cocktails and 2 whiskeys. Instead of giving our table the two cocktails that had been laying on the bar for 15 + minutes, imagine our shock when they walked to a customer sitting at the bar and handed it to him - FREE drinks said he. Absolutely shocking service. Won't be back!!!

This is a brilliant family restraunt sutibale for children also!!! Nice Christmas Dinner but sometimes they bring out food cold and wet they also have a bar with great atmosphere with tv's and music good hygiene and great waiters

Went for date night with husband and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Dinner was great but eyes bigger than belly syndrome lol. Cocktails were fantastic and fresh made in front of you. Staff friendly and professional. Great night

Visited sixty ate for tea . Based in Clydebank this establishment has a very swish interior, classy and stylish but welcoming. You can get a set menu offering two courses for 11.95 or 3 for 13.95 and they have a good cocktail menu reasonably priced. Burgers fish and chips cottage pie and pasta on menu . We started with chicken satay with a nice sweet chilli sauce. Fish and chips to follow. Huge chips and a good size portion of fish but batter was so greasy it was inedible. Waitresses did a good job. Nice bar, popular with families but nothing that would entice me to return.

Come in a lot with my partner for lunch or dinner. Can honestly say the place has upped its game since Singers, before the food was bland and boring. The food is great now, so whoever the chef is, well done as its really the only place worth eating in Clydebank (if you like decent food).

After going to the footie we met our good ladies here for refreshments. We decided instead of ordering meals we would go for sharing platers. Great choice . Food as usual was very tasty and staff are friendly and helpful. We always have a great time here before we head on elsewhere.

Busy restaurant but food is very average and no imagination. I had the steak and ale pie which was hot and tasty, the potatoes were okay but the vegetables were awful. My friend had the beer battered haddock which was okay but the chips were cold. Would not recommend this restaurant for a night out. Better to travel into Glasgow for a decent restaurant.

I went for the first time with my husband and son for lunch and we were very disappointed.The interior decoration is very nice and the staff are pleasant but sadly the food was poor.My husband and myself ordered Thai red chicken curry. I am almost certain the chicken was not cooked from fresh but from frozen pieces of chicken you would buy in the supermarket. The chicken was not tender but the sauce was very nice. My husband had a starter the black pudding and haggis stack which he enjoyed and again the sauce was lovely. My son had the steak and ale pie. The mixed vegetables were sort of oily and he could not eat them and the meat was shredded. Roast potatoes were supposed to accompany this dish but it was served with boiled potatoes. All plates were poorly presented and the food did not look appetizing. Over-priced. We won't be returning.

Didn't have to wait long for food. I ordered the chicken supreme wth roast veg and it was to die for. Very clean place. Top marks to waiting staff and chef for a lovely time and excellent meal. I highly recommend trying sixty Ate bar. You won't regret it Thanks guys for a lovely time/meal.

I can honestly say the food was great, it states on the menu to give a little extra time as the good is freshly prepared(which I love. It was cooked and served beautifully. The staff so friendly, and the pricing was very reasonable. I will be back! 8/10

Visited for a work's leaving night. Didn't know the cocktails specials until one of our party went to the toilet. No menu with the special priced cocktails on the tables. Waiting staff could've mentioned it when they seated us.Furnishings - nice seating and booths. Comfy furnishings.Staff - very slow but mannerly. Not very tentative, more interested in having their own chats.Food - overpriced for the standard. Macaroni watery. Haggis stack burnt. Steak pie was nice.Cocktails - great value for money, but very poor when we noted 1 drink was missing from our order, asked for this and were told we had already received it?! Eventually sorted out and drink brought to the table with apology and drink deducted from the bill. Very embarrassing - why would we spend over £100 then try & scam a cheap cocktail. Not good.All-in-all, good for a couple of drinks if you aren't in a hurry, but wouldn't recommend the food.

We visited the bar for a early December miner with our 2 year old son. The service wasn't great although they were reasonably busy.The food was average and slightly over priced for the quality.We will give it another go to check for any improvements.I'll keep you posted.
