Really enjoyed our meal here. Great food, reasonably priced and lovely owners. The recommended wine was great too. Will definitely return.

Very nice evening, forty Forth wedding anniversary and another couple in the restaurant was there 44th. Good traditional food, pleasant atmosphere reasonable price.

A little gem of a restaurant! Me and my partner visited here for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. Aside from the lovely food, the hosts there are what make this place, so friendly and down to earth. Food freshly cooked, not rushed and decent portions. The chips are like your granny would make (in a good way) and the garlic pizza breads are lovely. All the food we've had has been brill. We've since visited again, and food and atmosphere was great again. Not a shiny glitzy place, but if you're after a chilled evening with lovely hosts and great food then give this place a try. We'll be back soon. x

Impressed by the food. Hadnt been in nearly 2 years but still very tasty food which was nicely presented. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly and really juicy. The service was excellent too. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious and amazing meal, again, from Sinatra's. The restaurant is spotless, everything is spaced so that you are not on top of each other. The staff are lovely, attentive without being smothering. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The food is delicious. Cooked to perfection and fresh. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

We visited Sinatra’s after it was recommended to us by some friends as we were looking for somewhere to spend our wedding anniversary. The proprietors Karen and Alivini were extremely friendly and accommodating. What was good for us but not for them was the fact that we were the only 2 people in the restaurant so service was just at the right pace. They left us alone but were always on hand if we wanted anything. We loved the fact that the background music was in keeping with the venue; Italian songs and of course, a bit of Sinatra. The food was absolutely fabulous; genuine Italian food cooked by a genuine Italian. Some of the previous revues have said that the portions were on the small side but we think that they were just about right and we were happy with the bill at the end! If you have seen any previous revues about Sinatra’s that are less than 4 or 5 stars, take them with a pinch of salt – some people just love to find fault. We can’t find any fault at all and will definitely be back

I came here on a Thursday evening with my partner and couldn’t of asked for a nicer meal with fantastic, personal service throughout. We had the penne picante and mozerella chicken with vegetables, both very good portion sizes. Both meals were delicious and cooked from scratch and you can really tell! accompanied by a lovely bottle of house white wine. We will definitely be visiting again!

Asparagus chicken was tough , the sauce curdled. The Tagliatelle marinara was dry with just a few mussels .Posted a letter of complaint ,no response.

I Love Sinatras’s, a family run Italian restaurant. Karen, Ali and Dominic always make you welcome and their food is fab. Great night with friends or family to celebrate anything you want to. First class 5 stars.

Arrived at 6.30 pm very cold inside the restaurant, radiator next to table not working, but was pleasantly greeted by the owner.We both ordered a chicken dish with chips and salad garnish mine included asparagus spears which were inedible apart from the top inch and the salad garnish comprised of 2 desert spoons of sliced iceberg lettuce and nothing else.What a sorry looking plate of food.The owner asked if every thing was alright and after pointing out the above complaints I was told the asparagus was fresh and I should CUTOFF the brown bottom 2 inches. Having pointed out that should be done in the kitchen before cooking he told me that he had not had any other complaints.At no point did he apologise for our disappointments.The only saving grace would be the excellent chips served separately and that is why I can give Sinatra's 2 star

We had dinner at Sinatra’s for the first time yesterday. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The restaurant and staff are warm and the food smelt amazing.The menu has a good selection (veggies well catered for) and the (inexpensive) wine list is good.We really enjoyed the food, but the ambience of Sinatra’s is what really makes it a great place. The owners are lovely, genuinely warm people and made us feel so welcome. Totally recommend this little gem and we will definitely be back.

Comí allí anoche con amigos y me sorprendió gratamente. La comida era buena, sabrosa y abundante. Me gustó mucho. El estacionamiento podría ser un problema ya que Sinatra está escondido en una calle lateral, pero hay un gran estacionamiento a unos cientos de metros de distancia. No tendría ningún problema en gong allí de nuevo.

La decoración está bastante cansada y anticuada, las sillas estaban rotas y apiladas contra la pared, lo que no era particularmente cálido. OK, a veces el servicio puede ser lento. Pero si tienes prisa, ve a un lugar de comida rápida. Nos gusta la comida, el ambiente y el personal. Y es local. Si no apoyas tus lugares locales, se cierran y te quedan las fábricas de alimentos de producción en masa. Aquí, la comida es fresca y sabrosa. El vino está muy bien de precio. Como dijo una revisión anterior, no se nos pudo convencer para que regresáramos aunque fuera gratis. Estaban vacíos, pero aún le tomó más de media hora servir 6 entrantes muy básicos y luego una hora para los platos principales. Cada comida salió con una brecha de 3 minutos entre cada una también. Al comparar con la comida de otros restaurantes italianos, consideramos que es muy pobre pero muy caro. El servicio fue agradable, pero no hay nada que destacar. No estaban ocupados, pero no comprobaron si estábamos contentos con la comida ni si mantenían las bebidas fluyendo. Esta es una pequeña empresa familiar. En mi opinión, necesitan mejorar su juego para que los clientes regresen y recomienden que de lo contrario fracasará.

Having lived in Kimberley for a number of years and been a regular, but following a career change now 'down South', we booked for a Northern family and friends party. From the first inquiry, it was the same helpful, friendly and professional service I've known. On the night, the food (for nineteen) was outstanding with time between courses for everyone to chat, some even managed a desert. Sinatra's is really worth a two hundred mile round trip!

Out standing meal as per usual with this family run restaurant. Freshly cooked so if you want fast food ,don't come here but worth the wait. Save a little room for the home made tiramisu.

We had our 1st visit last night and it is now our favourite Italian in Nottingham! We tried pizza,canneloni and 2 chicken dishes; plates were almost licked clean. The chicken melted in the mouth. We managed to fit in puddings and all delicious. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A thoroughly lovely meal

I came here on Saturday night for the first time with my fella. He has been here a few times and has also raved on about how amazing it is, so decided to give it a try. First of all the service is fantastic. Everyone who works there clearly enjoys there job and can not do enough to make sure everything is perfect for you.

Calzone está repleto de abundante y enorme! En cuanto al precio que mejor que no vayas, pero cada fin de semana a tratar de razonable! Gigante profiteroles son deliciosos. Regresaremos de nuevo.

We went here for our Christmas meal but obviously the menu was restricted so we went back to have the A La Carte menu. Excellent food, great atmosphere, reasonable price & good service. Authentic Italian cuisine. Can recommend it.

My first visit to this restaurant and I must say it was lovely.The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with the music not being loud at all it was as it should be background music.I had 3 courses with salmon and prawn starter that was lovely.I then had a steak diane with mushroom sauce with chips.The chips appeared to be homemade and also shared some rosemary roasts.Both my friends meals were lovely too.There is another room too when it gets busy.The service was good.We had a bottle of Chardonay and it was very reasonable for around £10 for a bottle of wine.

Has a lovely meal. Mussels and sea bass. Their rosemary roast potatoes are the best. Hope to be back very soon.

I dine here regularly with friends and family, the food is delicious with plenty of choices. The venue has ample seating for large parties and separate tables for romancing couples. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. all top knot. Excellent value all round love it.

Visited last night with friends and family. Great menu. Lots to choose from and all authentic Italian dishes. Karen and her husband are great hosts and very accommodating if you want to slightly change a meal, IE my daughter didn't want mushrooms in her calzone this was no problem at all. I can definitely recommend the cannelloni and the garlic bread is amazing. The house Merlot is a gorgeous smooth red and is a good price for a litre bottle. Got no complaints at all and will definitely be back

Me the wife and a few friends went there last night , and the food and service was exerlant, don't go and think you can order your food and it will be in front ov you in 5 mins cos it won't, all the food is cooked fresh to order that's wot makes the food so good , very reasonable priced, the owner and staff take time out to have chat with you and make you feel very welcome be bk very soon thank again Sinatras

We went as a foursome and had a starter and a main each and three puddings between us. A bottle of wine, a g and t and a soft drink....it came to just under £25 each. And the food was really delicious and tasty. We will definitely go back.

We've visited several times, as a couple and with friends. This is the best value restaurant we have been to. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the food is cooked fresh and hasn't stood for a few hours. The wine is superbly priced, and good quality. Overall, this is a restaurant that everyone we've taken adores. Not just likes, all our friends have been highly impressed with all aspects of the visit.

Courteous, polite and timely service was just fab at Sinatra's (without being obsequious) - and the food was even better. A bowl of olives to start - came with a lovely sauce - really very good.The Steak fell of the fork - perfect! The chicken pesto was to die for, and 'afters' were perfect too, can't recommend this place enough, a hidden gem, don't miss it.

Ate here on a business trip, wanting a non-chain Italian. Very pleased with our choice, as the food was excellent, the owner very engaging and friendly, and the atmosphere friendly. We will be back, and would encourage others to try it.

Not bad for Italian food but quite expensive. We went there to celebrate valentine day. We had set up menu and was very expensive. I would prefer to choose something from every day menu. Owner very friendly.

Ignore the moaners, we have regularly eaten here for three years - NEVER had a bad meal. Spag bol is the best I have eaten. Look after customers, especially my 3 year old. Try the tiramisu too.

We booked a table for 5 and the place was quite busy. It took a long time, around 10 mins for drinks, 20 mins maybe more for food, for our order to be taken. It then took a further 10mins for the drinks to arrive and we had been there an hour and half before our mains finally came. The people were lovely and accommodating but they really need more staff. The setting of the place is nice, nice music and fairly relaxed but the tables had crumbs and were a little 'sticky'. The steaks were really nice but the side dishes of veg and potatoes were cold, the chips looked frozen and not from fresh potatoes and there was an incredibly limited menu for our vegan and vegetarian diners. One choice of pasta, a a pizza and a risotto but overall 1 choice for the vegan. It was standard price I guess, perhaps a little expensive for Kimberley but I'm more than happy to pay for good quality but didn't feel we had good value for money. With an extra waiter and probably another chef, attention to detail on cleaning and maybe some additional vegan choices this place could be incredible. Personally wouldn't choose to go back as it is now. Would go to Moda in Hucknall as a first choice, Bella Mia as a second.

Delicious meal last night. Fantastic value for money. Warm and friendly. Perfect! It is family owned and staffed, atmosphere warm but informal and not at all 'starchy'. Plenty of on street parking nearby. Highly recommended.

Sinatras in Kimberly is my favourite place to eat,from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave,you're made to feel at home, Karen and Ali are superb hosts and know you by name in minutes and never forget. The food is fantastic,I would gladly recommend this Italian to everyone,and anyone I know that's been agrees,so anyone that doesn't,shame on you!

Came here at the end of a stressful day, having visited a few years ago and liked the atmosphere and food. Being early evening it was a bit quieter than before, but still pleasant. The menu is slightly restricted, but we prefer a few things done very well to many done ordinarily. The service was helpful, by people who seemed pleased to be serving us. The food was very good, and in the night there was an offer of a free cocktail, both of which were well-made and refreshing. Don't know about the wine, as we didn't have any, but the list looked at least comparable to other similar places. Would definitely go back again.

First impression was it felt nice and homely! Then the starters came out, mushroom and a meatball one, all you could taste was oil! Main course and AGAIN just tasted oil. At home now and still all we can taste is OIL! Really gutted as it's quite local, but I'm sorry but NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Ate here on Fathers Day, the restaurant was unusually quiet.The service was good, started with Prawn cocktail which was nice, the bread that came with it was stale, my daughter had soup, again it was served with stale bread.Two of us had the Sunday lunch which was served with a very burnt Yorkshire pudding.Daughter had the Burger with chips, the chips looked old and reheated.The only reason we did not complain about the food was the fact that the 3 people that were sat next to us complained about every course that they were served.The manager came out to them and was very apologetic, we did not want the staff to feel as if we were jumping on the bandwagon.The whole thing was embarrassing, as the restaurant was so quiet. This is the first time I have rated a restaurant poor, but for Nottingham city centre its really not good enough.

The food is amazing, very clean fast service and great food. Great for family's are the food is to die for must go. Food is well priced for the great quality you get.

From reading other reviews, it looks like some comments are for a different Sinatra's restaurant. We frequent the Kimberley restaurant on a regular basis and find it extremely good value for money. It can be slow at times, especially when busy,but this should not put people off. We have found all the meals to be of a very acceptable standard and not too expensive. The house wine is very reasonable too. Try the mushroom risotto for something different and you will be amazed.

I love love love it here :) we have fallen in love with this place The food is simply devine. They cater for our ever so fussy 10 year old which believe me is a challenge! Nothing is to much the owners are so friendly and really provide the Italian experience. Myself & friend went for a meal on Saturday evening & it was lovely. Great food, good wine & the owners couldn't do enough for you.

A surprise because we had planned to go somewhere else but the place was closed. We had a quick look on TA and decided to chance it. Pleasantly surprised. No frills but a genuine feel about the place. Little touches like showing you the wine before opening it give me confidence. Call me a traditionalist but I like that sort of thing and you don't see it so much now. Recommend it for a visit at least once. Food very nice. Good selection of Italian wine. Good, unfussy service.

Went for a wedding reception. .small party 20 person. Ordered the meals before hand . from menu. in advance. Service good. food very good. staff OK. very good portions . was very happy. very one had a good time .i heard no complaints from anyone in our party

Absolute rip off for a local restaurant...food average, cold inside, only one toilet for male & female. Never spent so much for just the two of us. Won't be going again any time soon.

We booked our table for 9pm but when we arrived had to wait for a good 15 mins before being seated. Ecen though we had purused the menus whilst waiting to be seated we still waited 15 mins before our order was taken. Food was average, service ok but more staff needed to cope with number of tables.

We had a Valentine meal here - the restaurant was nearly full which perhaps accounted for the slow service. Not all the meals arrived together and the steaks didn't match the requests. The food however was good and the owner very accommodating. It's a pleasure to find somewhere local to eat - avoiding taxis or driving. Set menu for the occasion but plenty of choice and very reasonable - same for the wine list. Might be worth employing say a student to "wait" on a busy night.

Nice meal. Owners were really friendly and welcoming. The pizza I ordered however resembled a Chicago town but overall a nice decent meal and would probably return at some point.

Its as the title says but much more, an excellent meal every time backed up with friendly owners. Good choice of wines and litre bottles as well for the more thirsty of you and at a great price for a restaurant. The steak is recommended along with the fish pasta dishes. We always have the olive bowl to wile away the preparation time of the meal.been going for a couple of years now and they always remember your name and squeeze you in if possible wen busy. We have now completed the menu, so karen, may be time to alter it a little to keep our interest in the future?

Booked a table for 7.30pm, arrived and 3 other tables had diners, so not busy we ordered a bruschetta to share to start which to be fair was ok, we had ordered a straight forward pizza and Lasagne for main which took an age to arrive (well over an hour) restaurant still not busy, when the mains eventually turned up the Lasagne was cold in the middle and the Pizza resembled a Chicago Town frozen special from Iceland!We mentioned the Lasagne and the owner said it had been made fresh that day and offered to re-heat it.......so an hour and 15 mins to warm up a pre made Lasagne and stick a pizza under the grill.....Add to this the restaurant was freezing cold and the unisex toilet is separated by 1 door from the main restaurant, Never again, the one redeeming act was to take the Lasagne off the bill.

I'm a regular visitor to Sinatras. Love it! I don't always leave a review though. My most recent visit though needs to be mentioned. I decided to try the steak. I like to think I'm a bit of an expert. Never in my life have I eaten steak like it!! I could have cut it with a spoon. That's no exaggeration.

the first impression when you enter the restaurant is the freindly welcome you recieve.moving on to the food an excellent choice of homemade italian cuisine,and a cracking bottle of house red to wash it down.would definetly recommend but do not forget to book

Decided on an impromptu meal out, was not disappointed. The hosts are a lovely couple who made you feel welcome nothing was too much trouble. The food is well presented and of good quality, and they are not skimpy on portion size (one garlic bread is big enough for 3!), The house red wine is very nice. A lovely place to sit and enjoy good food and company, they do not rush you, A lovely little Italian would certainly recommend.

This is a favourite of mine and whenever myself and husband manage to get babysitters we try and make our way to Sinatras.Sadly the last time we had babysitters there were no tables available so we went elsewhere.Their house rose wine is very good and I have never had a bad meal. I love the food here and can not wait to come back.The staff that work here are always very welcoming and also remembered my name.If you want a nice relaxed evening with good food and wine then look no further than Sinatras Kimberley.

Had a lovely vegetarian meal. Although not a vegetarian the mushrooms sounded too good to resist; had bruchetta with spinach, mushrooms and goats cheese and then a mixed mushroom risotto and my friend a lasagne - all delicious. Very friendly husband and wife team run this restaurant. Will be back soon.

Had a lovely evening here with the family, celebrating a special occasion, the couple who were serving us were lovely and couldn't do enough for us, food was excellent and will definitely be returning!

Last time we came the steaks were tough and massively overpriced, especially seeing as you have to pay extra for chips!We gave it another chance as we live locally, and if pizzas made on a crunchy shop-bought frozen base for £10 are your thing then this is the place for you. Profits are obviously more important than quality here.

Enjoyed the meal but found it a bit expensive for what it was. Would definitely recommend unless it looks busy, then avoid as it gets VERY loud VERY quickly.

We stumbled across Sinatra's after moving to the area we love Italian so thought we would give it a try. I didn't know what to expect my (former!!) favourite Italian in the city had very high standards! Well from the minute we arrived ( we didn't booked just wandered in one night) we were looked after so well. The restaurant itself is quite plain in decor i suppose nothing fancy but the food speaks for itself ! It is amazing lots to try on the menu and the prices are good too.The best thing for me though is that I can take my children and they can have the same as me but smaller portions they are made to feel welcome and the owners know there menu inside out so can help you out when deciding what to try this has certainly helped us all be more adventurous in our choices. It's just a lovely relaxed place to eat quality Italian food. We have now visited several times and look forward to more.

Used to go to Sinatras years ago under the previous owner, always had a fantastic meal. It has since been taken over and refurbished slightly. Unfortunately it is not on a par anymore. The meal was pretty average, decent prices but nothing to shout about. The waitress forgot a side dish, by the time it was pointed out it was too late. Not massive portions but tasty and well presented. Will go again but maybe when it has been up and running for a little longer.
