I have to say if you want the best fresh fish ever this is the place to go. We have always had the best ever and the service is amazing and friendly. Only place to go. Well done Sarah and Richard.

Wow, I love this fishmongers, firstly the fish is first class fresh for which I can give no bigger acknowledgement. The lovely lady serving was part owner with her husband who does the fixing and she was brilliant (apologies, didn’t get her name), as a fishmonger by trade it was so lovely to see this place open in February when most of Tenby was unfortunately closed. We bought a lobster for £18, massive and the best I’ve ever had and there have been many, a large flatfish, Brill for £20, which fed the family, stupidly fresh and gorgeous, a large tub of cockles, small but beautiful and a pint of cooked prawns, which all were fab, we would have bought more but only had three days left of holidays. The lady was brilliantly knowledgeable and passionate and as an island nation we need to look after these people / businesses as they are few and far between. I spent over £50 and would've spent double to keep this business going. Rick Stein once did a series called ‘Food Heroes’ and he would be well versed visiting Tenby finest, rather than his current series focusing on anything but around the nation. Lovely friendly lady who sells the tastiest cockles , I try and go there every week sometimes twice as I only live up the road, no need for seasoning they are just so fresh, always buy a big pot and take them home gorgeous with wholemeal bread, thankyou, enjoy your break both, see you when you open 😊👍.

The lobster rolls and crab sandwiches. Should I really be telling everyone how wonderful they are? First place we go when we visit Tenby.

I went in for two seafood pots and ended up buying monkfish and hake which were both amazing. The seafood is so fresh. I went in July as well and bought fresh mussels they were incredible.

Wow.. really is all that can be said and not in a good way! Customer service skills are non existent! No crab or lobster when we visited! It was 14:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday! They embarrassed the chap in front of us, with his 3 kids, under 10 years old! They asked for 3 mackerel to be filleted and said they’d pay, to be told “no sorry”. Disgusting, given it’s a supposed family business! My husband ended up filleting the fish for the man and his family on the street, for no charge! Defo not family friendly. We won’t be back. Perhaps this business should remember…your trade is seasonal. Try to be kind in future!!

Amazing crab sandwich,I would make the trip to Tenby just for a sandwich,the cockles and prawns are just as good…..would definitely recommend a visit 👍

Excellent seafood, we had two lobsters which were huge and excellent value, bream fillets that were filleted for us there and then, prawns, and lava bread... We have been visiting Simply Seafoods every time we have been in Tenby over the past 10 years and it's always been excellent, the staff have always been extremely polite and helpful (especially when the card reader would not work...not their fault by the way). If you only visit one place while in Tenby make it Simply Seafoods...

Bought monkfish from here for our tea and it was phenomenal! So fresh and meaty. The selection they've got is great and the oysters were a tasty treat too.

Well what do you know. Feeling like I have eaten in a Michelin star , crab sandwiches like no other overlooking the sea. A freezer stocked plus a gorgeous supper of smoked haddock with brown butter, Pembrokeshire potatoes and fine beans. You have done it again. Thank you from the Meidrim couple.

What a brilliant shop. The fish and customer service were both exceptional. We made several visits, buying fresh local fish, cockles, samphire, and lobster rolls. Every single purchase was perfect. Thank you Simply Seafoods for your contribution to a great holiday.

A day in Tenby in glorious February sunshine, to buy lovely fresh fish. The cherry on the top was crab sandwiches for lunch - we have waited a long grey winter for this and as usual they were fresh and superb.

We purchased two lobsters and they were absolutely delicious! Our grandson had fresh salmon and couldn’t eat it quickly enough. The owners were extremely helpful and very accommodating a!

Superb selection of fresh fish at a great price in this tiny fresh fish shop on the quay in Tenby. The crab sandwiches and lobster rolls were superb.

Excellent fresh seafood. The best crab I have tasted. It’s difficult to get fresh fish in this area so it makes this little hut even better. Brilliant fishmongers.

Crab sandwich,lobster roll and cockles all absolutely delicious,I would go as far to say best crab sarni I have ever eaten ( I have eaten a fair few), the ladies serving are lovely and very helpful ,they do however need to keep the queue moving,lot of people go in and just want to chat to them regardless of the queue,that said next time I’m in Tenby I will queue again .

Well another trip to our favourite fishmongers. Beautiful fresh cod. Smoked haddock like nowhere else. What made our day was the sunshine and even more, delicious crab sandwiches to eat overlooking the sea. Nothing added just crab as it should be and lots of it . A real unexpected treat. Sarah always remembers us and the fact we had to queue for 15 mins in November is testament to the quality of the seafood.

We went to Tenby for a few days in November. Simply seafoods gave us the best day ever. We’d been before and I sent my husband out with a list. He came back with a lobster roll (which was beautiful, so much lobster), a pint of prawns, some white crabmeat and some hake fillets. The sun came out and we had a picnic on the decking of the caravan we were staying in. In the evening we cooked the hake...it was beautiful. Thanks Simply Seafoods, you gave us the best day of our holiday. See you next year.

Made a point of going here for a lobster roll and we were not disappointed. Half a very fresh baguette with gorgeous, juicy, fresh lobster meat is just what we wanted. All the fish looked great and we would be more than happy to return in future.

Never having visited this takeaway before but after reading the reviews we pre ordered 2 lobster rolls. How on earth they managed to get a whole lobster in a roll is quite amazing, absolutely delicious. We also bought fish and a dressed crab, we will return.

Excellent service from this little shed at the top of the old harbour. Lovely fresh crab sandwiches in soft brown bread plus a gorgeous tub of fresh whelks! Couldn’t ge happier.

If like me, you struggle to find a decent crab sandwich these days, then struggle no longer. Get there early to avoid disappointment and join the queue. Trust me it is worth it.The lobster rolls are also excellent.Other seafood s available and looked delicious. However my time (and appetite) was limited.

We had heard good things about this place and after a longish wait it was worth the wait, we had a lobster rolls which was packed full of lobster and a crab sandwich which was equally full! Our only wish is we ordered more!

The most delicious lobster roll ever. So generous with the amount of lobster which was the best Ive tasted. Prawns also divine - so sweet and full of flavour. Friendly staff. I can totally understand why there is always a queue for this shop.

Be prepared to join the queue at this terrific fishmongers in front of the harbour. The dressed crab was probably the best I have had anywhere (Sorry Cromer!). Cockles were delicious and we were lucky enough to get some very reasonably priced turbot fillets which made a delicious dinner. Seemed to be plenty of local customers as well as tourists. Friendly service! I may have to travel back to Tenby from London just to get some more crabs!

We travel to Tenby just to visit this shop because we cannot get fish like it anywhere else. It has the best smoked haddock we have ever eaten. Also dressed crab is delicious and fresh. Never been disappointed

My favourite was crab sandwich and mini seafood cup. It was fresh seafood and lucky me that I did not have to queue. Did not expect any seat be available as it was just right next to the busy harbour stalls.

Always my favourite place to get a fresh crab sandwich from. Absolutely the hight of the season and wonderful service and standard.

For a place that advertises lobster rolls they never seem to have any Always disappointed You have to queue for 30 mins to be told they’ve got no lobster

Got a lobster roll from here. Loved the bread but it was almost too much lobster. I’m thankful they included the garlic mayonnaise or else it would have been tough to eat. A little overpriced in my opinion.

Been here many times over the years on our visits to Tenby and each time is rewarding. Very fresh selection of fish. Always have the cockles which are plump and taste of the sea. A must if you like seafood and are visiting Tenby

We were staying a few minutes walk from here and I had looked up where to buy fresh seafood. I wasn’t disappointed! I bought a crab sandwich, a lobster roll and a pint of prawns and two of us shared them for our tea. They were absolutely delicious and the sandwich and roll were stuffed full of crab/lobster. Service is really friendly, and being so close to the beach these would make a great treat for a picnic lunch.

Great lobster rolls for a decent price. Several park benches a few steps away uphill towards the beach made for a fabulous picnic lunch.

Searched for potential places to buy seafood to take home for a holiday and this came up. Opens at 10:00 a.m. with a big queue building beforehand that demonstrates the quality. Great variety and value but a good idea to pre-order if you want something specific - we were told especially on Fridays

This is not my first visit to Simply Seafoods in Tenby Harbour as I have used on 4 other occasions whilst visiting Tenby area, this time I was with my 84 year old father who loves seafood just like me.The unit is allways spotlessly clean and doesn't have that fishy smell that occurs when fish and seafood isn't fresh and kept correctly. The ladies are always friendly and previous time told us her partner catches some of the fish.We bought 2 tubs of peeled prawns, some cockles and a cooked lobster. The prawns tasted as if had been peeled onsite rather than usual peeled at sea prawns so much more flavour. We had the lobster packed in ice to use in evening and this was down and had a great taste.The prices are reasonable for the portions and quality is the reason why have used more than once.Would I use again - YesWould I recommend to others - Yes

Stopped by for a seafood snack. I had cockles and my partner had Prawns. Both were very fresh and tasty.

A seriously super find, the most fabulous lobster and the most amazing prawns. Run by genuine people and the food is incredible, fresh and just fabulous, will certainly visit again really soon.

As Cornishmen from Mount's Bay, we think we know a thing or two about seafood especially crab sandwiches. Newlyn crab et al. When asked where this crab was from, the response was ' From my husband's boat this morning.' 'Nough said. Fresh thick white and brown crab on granary. Heaven !!!! A meal on its own. The display on the counter was gleaming and mouth-watering.......the queue outside said all you need to know. Brilliant. Thoroughly recommend. Enjoy.

Having read all of the excellent reviews about Simply Seafoods on TA, we had to try their crab sandwiches.We pre ordered two crab sandwiches to collect at noon, together with a container of cockles and prawns. There was a generous filling of white and brown crab meat on fresh granary bread. Can honestly say that it was the best crab sandwich we have every tasted, together with the cockles and prawns and with a glass of white wine made an excellent lunch back in our apartment.The couple who run this business are very friendly and knowledgeable about their fish and seafood. There is a good variety of fish and seafood on offer in this shop. Definitely a place to visit.Our sandwiches were ready for us when we called back to collect them at noon. As this place is so popular can only imagine how busy it is in the high summer months.We will most definitely return here for more crab sandwiches on our next visit to Tenby.

Lobster roll was stuffed full of fresh, delicious lobster and the cockles were big and juicy. Well worth a visit. You won’t miss it as there’s usually a big queue leading up to the small door!

Once we tasted the crab sandwiches and lobster rolls we understood why there were long queues for the food. Beautifully cooked and prepared seafood.

Customers were queueing in a long line down the harbour, all waiting patiently to buy fresh Crab Sandwiches, fresh Lobster Buns and a cocktail of shellfish. We were lucky to get the last Lobster Roll. We sat in a picturesque little park overlooking the beach. Sparrows and Bumblebees were in perfusion and fascinating to watch.

Queued up and was served by a very knowledgable lady who was the owner of this operation and of course the partner of the fisherman who collects this top quality fish and shellfish. Crab sandwich was most generous, packed with flavour and totally fresh. There was hardly any aroma in the shop, clean as a whistle and the fish is so fresh! Great value, top quality and great ambassadors for Tenby, the region and the friendly, hardworking people of this area. Don't go anywhere else!

Excellent quality fresh seafood would definitely recommend during your trip to Tenby a small queuing system due to cover but worth it

We were holidaying in Pembrokeshire and took a day trip to Tenby. Saw the shop and vowed to go back for a crab sandwich for lunch. There was a queue but it was well worth the wait. The crab sandwich was certainly the best I have ever eaten; masses of crab, good quality bread and great value for money.

The queuing was worth it, purchased 2 lemon sole for dinner, absolutely delicious, so fresh and melted in the mouth. So flavoursome. Highly recommended superb quality. Thank you

Visited this little seafood gem many times,its the reason why we visit Tenby, Inside is packed with beautifully fresh sea food,I had a lobster roll 3 days ago just gorgeous, and the mussels are divine.They sell the best seafood anywhere,the reason is simple,everything is fresh.Places like this are rare, and they need as much public support as possible.i wish it was next door to me.

The best seafood in Pembrokeshire (if not the uk) From there boat strait into there own fishmongers. Anyone visiting Tenby has to try a pot of cockles and walk down the harbour. Fresh fish each day! 10/10

Thank goodness Sarah and Richard are open again after the storms. I'll be shopping here three or four times a week until November, as I have since they started.

Its such a tiny place. We have sea food to take away and eat in the harbour at lunch time. We go in every day if we are passing. Highly recommended and not expensive.

We love love love this place, the lady who owns it is brilliant and such a hard worker! She serves us the best and most amazing seafood always and we travel 3 hours to get to her, even for a day trip.....it’s that good! Would recommend the dressed crabs, cockles, prawns and sea bass but actually would recommend it ALL, we are going back to Tenby in August and this place will be our first stop! LOVE IT

Must confess we had seen this fascinating Fresh Fish and Seafood 'shop' on TV on a couple of occasions. It looked so appealing that it featured highly on our list of 'must visit' places in Tenby. How right we were to follow other people's high recommendations. The Lady who served us with our 'flapping fresh' choices couldn't have been more helpful and kind - we sampled Crab Sandwiches, Large Raw Crevettes, Cooked Prawns, Plaice Fillets and Salmon - each and every one proved to be simply delicious - thank you so much - couldn't have been better.

Gorgeous fresh fish daily, lots of choice, owner really helpful and pleasant. Will be calling there regularly whilst we are in Tenby on holiday. Highly recommended.

We had Lobster, Scallops, Sea Bass fillets, Plaice fillets, Cravettes, Samphire and of course multiple pots of Prawns over the week we were there , all were wonderfully fresh and tasted amazing.

This small shack is often characterised by lengthening queues as people wait patiently to choose from the wide array of seafood on display. The crab sandwiches at £6 knock the spots off the more expensive, upscale offerings elsewhere. Get there early!

Stopped by for a crab sandwich and cockles to take to the beach. Both tasted great. Don't forget to use the vinegar by the door for your cockles, I almost missed it!

Only a tiny hut really, but jam-packed with lovely seafood. We had the best crab sandwiches ever, eaten on a bench overlooking the sea.

Decent price, good hygiene rating and easy to spot right by the sea. You can easily sit down on the benches outside and eat.

Call in here at least 3 times a year when on holiday and look forward to the fresh fish served by very friendly and polite staff, think the young lady is the owner and she's lovely so when your down you must give it a go.

We went to this fish shop three times in one week! The bream and bass fillets were lovely, and they remove the pin bones for you as well. Very friendly lady who always has time for a chat. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced

Whenever I'm in Tenby I always get a crab sandwich or dressed crab from this outlet for lunch. So generous are they in size that I usually make them last for 2 days, and the quality is superb. You can really taste the sea! No matter how busy the place is, and it's usually mobbed, the proprietress always makes time for a brief chat and it's a real pleasure to visit. This establishment is one of the jewels in Tenby's crown.

Having been in the trade I really do appreciate fresh quality seafood and this is certainly the place to get it

I visit this shop regularly and it always has a fantastic selection of fresh fish , dressed crab and lobster by far the best in the area. I would suggest to the previous reviewer that there is nothing wrong with a plastic fork providing you dispose of it correctly.

Nice food. But as they are a few feet from the sea surely they should be using biodegradable packaging and wooden forks. As mentioned this to the lady serving and she did not care. Just said plenty of bins close by. I would not recommend using this place as they can't be bothered protecting the sea even though their business depends on it.

Always come here for sea food each time we visit Tenby, it's always amazing everything we have is always really nice and fresh, we definitely have prawn withdrawal symptoms when we get home. See you next time :-)

My favourite ever place to go for my whelks. Better than any I have ever had. Sarah and Richard are such lovely people, and everyone needs to support them as there aren't enough fishmongers at the best of times. Their fish is absolutely the best in the area.

Called in when we arrived in Tenby, Lovely lady serving, warm welcome and happy for us to just browse.When we chose some fish we asked if we could leave our choice there and call back later and were told it was no trouble and we could call back anytime before 6pm. The lady offered to completely pin-bone the fillets and it is the first time we have had totally bone free fillets. The flavour was exceptional, the texture wonderful, you could tell it was really fresh. We have bought fish in many fishmongers and supermarkets but never had fresh fish like this before. Will definitely be back and will recommend this shop to friends.

We had 3 half lobsters for £18 to eat on the beach. Fully dressed crabs are £5. You just can't beat these prices.

very very clean...sell fresh fish, sea food (selection of each in a pot if you want) plus crab sandwiches...cockles with pepper and vinegar a must every visit to Tenby..always fresh..they also supply to the local restaurants plus take orders..so you can collect and cook a fish supper in your own home....we live in Swansea and the cockles in simply seafoods Tenby are fresher than Swansea market

We were recommended to go to this lovely place. This is the best seafood you will ever get not tampered with or crab not bulked out with breadcrumbs totally fresh and delicious served with a smile.

Every time I go to Tenby this place is on my must visit list. Delicious fresh seafood. Everything from cockles and mussels to crab and lobster. Great prices and great servings. Gutted it’s not open over the winter.

We had the most amazing fully filled crab, brown sandwich, truly fresh and scrumptious. The fresh fish for sale looked fabulous.

We have been purchasing fresh fish from 'Simply Seafoods' for many years now, and are greeted warmly every time we visit. Can especially recommend the dressed Lobster, Crab, Samphire, whole Sewin, Mackeral and Salmon. Also the Seabass is excellent and my Dad is a big fan of the fresh cockles (doused in vinegar).

Enjoyed my tub of fresh cockles. The building is situated close to the harbour, in an extremely good spot, and they sell lots of fresh seafood. The cockles were delicious!

The dressed crab was by far the best of those we've enjoyed in many a year, and real value for money. The array of locally-caught fish and crustaceans was impressive so there's no real need to dip in to the bought-in prawns and other ready-to-eats unless you really insist on missing out on the delight of the crab sandwiches that are also available.

Great little place. We bought crab and lobster which had been freshly caught just hours earlier. We took it back to our holiday cottage and had a great meal with some crusty bread, wine and squeeze of lemon juice on the shellfish. Perfect.

Love this little place on the harbour. Visit it every year we go to tenby. Fish always fresh every day. Thus year we got some fish for a little bbq again could not fault it

Get your fresh seafood straight from the harbour, to eat immediately (cockles/mussels/prawns/crab sandwich) or take home to cook (we enjoyed good value mackrel fillets)

I've visited this quaint little seafood shop so many times, it's been there forever, such a great range of fresh local produce. Well worth a visit to Tenby just for this x

Every time we visit Tenby we have to have the crab sandwich its delicious. Nothing more to be said only watch the blooming seagulls they are lethal

Had a freshly prepared crab sandwich from here for lunch. Cost £4.80 so a bit in expensive side but fresh and locally caught so you pay for that.

Fresh dressed crab collected, plenty of other seafood on offer, all nice and fresh, small and compact, but plenty of choice right on the harbour side.

Fantastic fresh fish, always take home with us and as I'm not a great fish fan they always ensure all the bones are removed, and I'm actually getting to enjoy my fresh fish from Simply Seafood
