We went to the new simply Asia on the opening night and the food was 5 star, i have never had a bad meal in this restaurant, the food and staff are always top notch, the new restaurant destination is bigger and better aswell *****

We have been ordering takeaways from Simply Asia for a while now, and have never been disappointed. The food is always ready on time and the prices are reasonable, with good portion sizes. The chef has a very delicate hand with the flavours, not over spiced, and will always adapt a dish if possible when requested. Although we have not eaten in the restaurant, the staff are always courteous and obliging when we phone through to order a takeaway.

Ive been here several times never had takeaway BUT DUE TO CORONA i had to have takeaway.tonight ..I phoned my order collected it 20 mins later..Chicken Madras was perfect.. so skilled with spices this chef not just massive amounts of chilli pilau rice poppadom thank you see you again soon Clive

Food is the best I've ever had. The service IS absolutely brilliant. A nice relaxing restaurant and ideal for family occasions.

Always visit here, they make a point of remembering you. Food is excellent and will always go that extra mile. If theres something you require that is not on the menu, just ask and they'll whip it up for you! Recommended.

Weve passed this place many times its pub like outside not so inviting HOW WRONG CAN I BE . the people were very welcoming food was amazing typical Indian menu BUT far better than average lovely use off spices not just hot chilli !! we will be back try some of your specials ..papadoms 5 dishes 2 glass wine 1 pint of beer licquer coffee and a shot £46 a bargain .and a large car park at the rear .see you soon Clive n Sue

We eat here quite often. Food is very tasty and a reasonable price. Staff have been friendly over probably the ladt20 years. With moved with the manager when he left Collier Row. About 18-19 years ago. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Simply Asia was recommended to us, so we gave it a try. Two of us had dish of the day, the sizzling sea bass was over done ,flavour nice ,but fish ruined,my son had sizzling king prawns mostly sauce , it was more like a starter, my chicken jalfrezi was bulked out with onion. They forgot one of the side dishes, the place only had two other people to cater for ,so hardly busy. The staff were very pleasant. But we won't be returning

Mi novia y yo decidimos comer fuera en una hermosa noche de verano. La comida llegó rápidamente y yo tenía uno de los mejores curris que he probado, pero las especias suaves eran extremadamente agradable. Mi novia tenía pollo tandoori y hablamos con el personal, que era muy simpático y vimos la puesta de sol. Una estancia muy agradable.

La comida llegó una hora tarde y el tamaño de las porciones eran realmente significa, especialmente teniendo en cuenta el coste.

Not knowing where to go in the area, gave this place a try after visiting the pub. Very happy with the quality curries we had. It's in the same building as the pub so it's a bit of a hidden gem.

Había ido con mi familia y la comida era increíble. Desde que la nueva apertura, la comida se ha convertido en genial. Tiene el mejor curry como otros han dicho, tiene una buena variedad de comida. Si te gusta la cocina india, no te puedes equivocar. Comimos en simplemente Asia anoche con mi esposa y nuestros amigos. hemos comido en simplemente Asia durante unos cuantos años y, aunque la comida siempre ha sido excelente, todos estábamos de acuerdo en última noche fue la mejor comida que hemos comido allí. El servicio es siempre primera clase y nada parece ser una molestia. Sin duda recomendaría este restaurante. Pruébalo, os garantizo que no te decepcionará.

Hemos comido aquí por 12 años 3 veces a la semana y nunca hemos tenido una mala comida.

This is a truly fantastic curry restaurant, the food is always brilliant and the service and general hospitality second to none. I try to visit 2 or 3 times per month and have never been let down, it's consistently excellent. Don't expect "posh" surroundings and decoration, just the best curry possible, try for yourself.

Visited Simply Asia over the weekend but was really disappointed with the food. Had a chicken madras with pilau rice but the madras was nothing like an authentic curry. More like a curry you could expect to find in a Chinese takeaway. Very bland in taste with a sauce that was more like thick gravy with half dozen pieces of chicken floating in it. No hot plate and food served up in china breakfast bowls which went cold very quickly. No atmosphere as only 2 other people were seated in the restaurant. Not what we had expected for find on a Friday night!

I've been eating at this restaurant for 10 years now at least twice a week, and realised I have never wrote about it.This is Havering-atte-Bowers best kept secret, I never get sick of the excellent flavoursome food all cooked fresh to order, I have been to many Indian restaurants and can't find anything that matches the food here even in the most expensive ones!The staff are all very friendly and will explain everything in detail if your not sure, my favourite is always the No1 on the specials board, Garlic chilli, chicken tikka with sag absolutely delicious!Extremely well priced and they also offer a takeaway or delivery service.

I have been here twice now after a friend introduced me to the place. A real lovely little find. I would never have known it was there. I think for me what make it so nice is the customer service. The waiter is always so polite and helpful and explains every dish with lots of patience. I will be coming back for sure.

Simply Asia is an Indian restaurant at the back of the Royal Oak Pub. You could easily overlook this restaurant as it is not well signed-posted or advertised, and you would be forgiven for thinking that you had arrived at a traditional English Pub as there is no immediate sign of the restaurant as you enter the pub. Food is delicious with many specials listed on the board. 'Cheeky Chicken' is a firm favourite with my friends and I. The food and wine are reasonably priced, and we've always found the service to be great, in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Decor is probably a bit on the tired side, but this is the only thing I could say could do with improving. At the end of your evening you can go through to the small pub area to finish with a night cap. Can't wait to go again!
