Sidra in Richmond upon Thames

I met friends here for lunch and, being vegetarian, opted for the halloumi salad hoping to avoid carbs. Actually the salad came with flatbread which I couldn’t resist eating and enjoyed very much with the most delicious salad. I’m a lover of Lebanese food anyway, but this salad was very very good and I will definitely have it again. I made a point of thanking the lady who made the salad for me. My two friends enjoyed their shakshuka and chicken wrap. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. Thank you.

Sidra is one of the best restaurants in Teddington for eat in and take away. I usually have a wrap meal or take away platter which are both delicious, generously portioned and freshly made. The staff are lovely and friendly and they always make me feel welcome especially when I visit with my dog - they always give him some fresh chicken as a treat which he loves! This place is always busy and for good reason - consistently great food and great service for a very reasonable price! I eat here at least once a month!

Unquestionably the best hummus in the world. I realise that's quite a claim, but I stand by it. Staff are charming. Baklava delicious.

I had a chicken wrap last time I went. The people in there are really friendly and always so welcoming. The wrap comes with some hummus and a side salad. Definitely filling and very tasty.

Teddington is full of little cafes & none like sidra such great sharing platters & food choices truly delightful! I can't wait to come for another mezze platter again! great fresh juices also!

A quick lunch before the match in this very clean and welcoming Cafe. I had the delicious chicken Tagine and my son who is vegan had a falafel and homemade humus wrap. Very pleasant indeed and recommend this place highly.

We go to Sidra Twickenham often and love the fresh food and the Lebanese breakfasts. First time at Teddington one and has same great offering and lovely outdoor space. However the whole meal bit overshadowed by slightly rude regular (I assume regular rather than staff but seemed to know a lot of the staff) who insisted on ordering us where the buggy should go. I’m the first to acknowledge how annoying buggies are in a small space so had deliberately gone outside where a large space out of anybody’s way. He wanted us to put it right beside another table as thought we were in way of ‘deliveries’. I’ll attach a photo to show how ridiculous this was (appreciate if had genuinely been in the way it’s of course fine to ask to move) as could have driven a truck through plus the deliveries he was referring to was a lady with a shopping pull along. Plus if had put where he said would have trapped a table in with it plus was closer to him who proceeded to cough during whole meal so didn’t really want to place baby next to him anyway. Possibly he doesn’t appreciate how off putting it is to know how anti baby someone is who you are sitting next to. Makes breastfeeding etc feel more awkward. I’m not massively keen on patronising coughers either, but too polite to try and ruin his meal by immediately voicing my opinion. All diners at restaurant so maybe some tolerance of each other appreciated. If we’d genuinely been in the way then of course fine to mention but it was ridiculous and clearly he just didn’t want a baby there and looking for a reason to say something as soon as we walked in. Lucky he’s a regular and so probably worth keeping for them if he’s there every day but I’ll be sticking with Twickenham so don’t run into him again.

The best Lebanese Food Ever All the pastries are delicious, the tagine is perfectly spiced, the babaghanouj and the taboulé are the best I have ever had!! Thank goodness for Sidra and now for the one in Twickenham too!!!! Well Done and Thank You!!!

I have visited Sidra numerous times and it has never failed to deliver. The food is fantastic, delicious, and Fresh. The staff are very friendly too. I LOVE the mixed Mezze for 1, and I believe it’s less than £10 and you get loads of food that is presented beautifully, you will not be disappointed visiting Sidra.

Lebanese & Syrian grub - v v good versions of what you would expect from this lovely cuisine - great value lunchtime wraps and super mezze - really nice people - one of first times I visited I said I was visiting a friend in hospital who loved that sort of food -they did up a brilliant wooden platter and tho they didn't know me didn't ask for for a deposit for the platter - been back many times since - generally just for a job lot of wraps for the family - lovely food and excellent value - I'll be ordering occasionally in Tier 3 - their baclava id great too

I had a coffee ,a small pistachio cake and a small takeaway falafel box .great food .all under £10.00 ..lovely fresh dining area and clean loo. Pleasant helpful staff !

This is a very lovely restaurant, focusing on food to go, but they also have a couple of tables. Do not expect a very fancy dining environment, but it is cosy and comfortable. Food is served fast, and exceeding expectations with Mediterranean delicacies. You can bring your own bottle of wine, and they serve it there.Not to miss, they do prepare amazing cakes, for special occasions, or even as a treat for the family. We did a family celebration for our son's birthday there, and it was a very nice memory.

I have recently discovered a real hidden gem nestled in the leafy suburbia of Teddington. Oozing with charm and offering delicious authentic middle Eastern culinary delicacies. Perfect setting for a lunchtime catch up or for an intimate evening weekend rendevouz and I heard a rumour that another branch is due to open soon in Twickenham. Wow, I left feeling very happy and satisfied!Ahmed & Hassan were just wonderful, nothing was too much. I had the halloumi & roasted vegetable wrap, which was served with salad and hummus topped with pomegranate seeds, it was delicious! I debated getting the chicken tagine, but the people next to me had eaten it and said it was wonderful, I shall be trying it the next time I go! Ahmed suggested a fruit tea which used real dried fruits, hot water and came in a device that allowed me to eat the fruits if I wanted, it was an experience I totally enjoyed.It’s a warm, clean and very friendly place to eat, considering I was eating alone, I felt very content. I would highly recommend this gem in Teddington!

Came across Sidra completely by accident as the first few places we tried in Teddington were full. What a happy coincidence! Very friendly staff and we had the mixed platter which was excellent and incredibly good value. Highly recommended.

I loved everything about this restaurant: the delicious, fresh and healthy food, the platings, the friendly staff ready to get you anything you need! Also I loved the fact that it was so clean and cozy perfect for any kind of ppl: couples, friends, kids, business etc! I recommend it, with all my heart, to all my family and friends who travel to UK !

Lived in the Middle East for 10 years, living in Teddington these days & cannot recommend this place enough. The food is really authentic, super tasty, fresh & all really very affordable. Some may find the service abit “rustic” & the place could be a little tiny bit smarter/comfortable but that wouldnt stop me going back!

Even the place is not big but u can order take away food and in summer there is place to sit outside .delecious hand made fresh food every day ,variety of Mezzet and chicken rab or kebab or shawerma rab .all the food tasty and staff v friendly .

Took my family of 5 there and everybody loved it. The welcome was authentic and the staff accommodating especially with my 11 year old as she had her lunch assembled. I bet nobody will have that same combination!

I have recently started using this restaurant for lunch. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. Delicious salads and meze, but hot dishes for take away and delivery are few.

My kids would eat here every day if they had the chance! The falafel wraps are delicious as are the mezze platters. It's amazing value for money whether you eat in or takeaway and the owners are super-friendly.

Lovely small place for lunch or morning snack. It does get extremely busy at lunch time (12:00/13:00) and then things slow down. Staff friendly and always very happy to help.

We've been going to sidra since it opened the cafe is lovely, staff are very nice and accommodating. We usually have the mezze when we are in there and there's plenty to eat and everything on there is delicious both hot and cold

Sidra is one of our favourite locations since moving to Teddington 3 years ago. Very friendly service, fresh food, a great mezze platter and really nice smoothies. My children also love the food and the simple kibbe. Highly recommend it especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside.

This is such a good lunch spot. It’s fresh, delicious food which you can customise, lots of wrap options and salads to go or eat in. The staff are smiley and friendly and although it’s small, there are lots of little tables to eat at. Would highly recommend a visit when you are in the area.

I travel on business regularly to Teddington and this is my go to lunch place most days. What I love is the simplicity and quality of ingredients. Chicken wrap or beef and haloumi! Lot of tasty nibbles too. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We sat outside on a sunny Saturday which as it's on a relatively quiet road was perfect. We ordered the mezze for two, it was quick to arrive and absolutely delicious. Little boats of salad, mini pastries and nibbles and flat bread and dip. We happily worked our way through. Staff were friendly and efficient - it really deserves the good reviews on here.

The reviews are perfectly correct. Lovely food, the most friendly and helpful staff I have come across in a long time and good prices. My husband and son shared a mezze platter and we had to move to a bigger table to accommodate it and my wrap! It's all freshly prepared and tasty. The wraps are delicious and it's nice that they are heated to become crispy on the outside. We did not see the cakes which others have mentioned but could not have found room for them anyway! Thanks for a beautiful meal - we shall be back. It truly is easier than trying to keep the deer from eating your picnic in the park and we enjoyed a lovely walk before and after.

I visited this cafe for a family lunch. The chicken tagine which 4 of us had, was excellent as were the falafel wrap and child's beef wrap. The staff were very helpful and friendly and everywhere was clean.

Lovely friendly staff , very clean and food well displayed , loads to choose from on the menu many different fillings for wraps . Great Mediterranean salads and wonderful yummy desserts , cheesecake and baklava recommended . As a vegetarian I found loads to choose on the menu . Service very friendly and prompt . Will be returning and would highly recommend. One thing I would like to see though is menus on the table as well as behind behind counter as feel like you are holding up queue while deciding what to opt for .

This is the best place in Teddington for middle eastern lunch - mezze and wraps. You can only eat for lunch but it is often aquainted by locals and nearby workers who appreciate good food. And buggy free!

A favourite regular lunch spot of mine. Always a great choice of fresh, delicious middle eastern fare. I particularly like the chicken Mezze plate, changes regularly depending on what's on the menu but always yummy. If you've got space treat yourself to a lovely dessert or homemade baklava.

This place is simply amazing! Incredible food and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We come here every Monday morning and I end up returning for lunch at least twice a week. Could not recommend giving Sidra a visit more highly!

We finally got round to having lunch here today after months of talking about it and WOW, what a find! We were feeling a bit "pubbed out" after one too many burgers / pies / fish and chipses over the past few weeks and this place was the perfect antidote: nice and healthy and tasty and light - everything was very fresh and clean-tasting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the place was spotless, the food delicious, and amazing value too - great find and will definitely be back!

The food is freash, and delicious! They are so friendly and helpful, that although they were very busy I felt like I had the personal service that would come from being their only customer.Home from home.

Having received good reports about the quality of the coffee and the range of cakes in this restaurant, we tried it out today. I asked for a flat white and my wife a latte. The staff said they could make any type of coffee! I did not get a 'proper' flat white nor did my wife have a decent latte. There were only two types of cake on display at 11:15am today.I am Barista trained and I suggest the staff in Sidra attend a professional barista course for some training.

Middle eastern style food - possible Lebanese? - Owner is very hard working and has built a successful business on apparent word of mouth. Much of the food appears to be home made. You won't find anything fresher. You can literally taste the garlic and lemon juice in the humous! Baklawa also great.Now very popular with local office workers, I can highly recommend it myself. A pity their website is down, If you guys read this, keep on doing what you're doing.

I work nearby so often pop into Sidra for lunch. The place is spotlessly clean, the service friendly (they genuinely seem to care) and the food is absolutely fantastic. The wraps are my favourite especially the roasted veg and haloumi cheese- yum! I lovely it here, the best place in Teddington by far.

A great little coffee shop run very personally by the owner who takes enormous care and pride in his ingredients and presentation. A great place to stop for breakfast, coffee, lunch and tea. Exceptionally clean. You can also take away. He custom makes great cakes for special occasions.

The quality and value of the wraps at this cafe are fantastic. I've lived here for years - I can't believe I've only just found about this place! Everything is freshly produced. Certainly my cafe of choice for lunch.One word of warning - it gets very busy at lunchtime on weekdays so get there early. But after me!

We started going to Sidra about 3 years ago and we absolutely fell in love with it. It is always clean and tidy, the food is excellent, fresh and a good option for either vegetarians and meat-eaters. The owner is always there and makes sure things are done to high standards, consistently. The beef and falafel wraps are our favourite choices. Highly recommended.

It was my first time here, the service was excellent, and the ingredients in the wraps were all fresh. Sindra with out a doubt has the best wraps in town. I will definitely be back.

Since Sidra opened it has been delighting me. The owner is a lovely man who pours his intelligence and care into everything that leaves the kitchen. The wraps are out of this world. The pastries always classically understated. Never disspoints.

Go in this morning with my youngest boy aged 18 months!!! The owner produces this brilliant ham and cheese wrap that my boy adores!!!! With quite a few extra pieces of ham and cheese on the side. This has to be one of the best kiddie friendly cafe's around and very reasonably priced

Lovely place for coffee or lunch. My favourite is the falafel wrap which is huge comes with fresh salad. If you have room after that the cakes are so beautiful it is almost a shame to eat them.

Great people and fabulous food. I have never been disappointed with the quality of food and coffee on my many visits. Such a lovely selection of savoury and sweet. A firm favourite of mine and friends. I have also recently ordered a birthday cake from there after trying a number of the lovely cakes over the past few months. Highly recommended.
