Bland tasting food, the pad thai’s taste was taken over by the burnt oil. Do not recommend.

I am quite disappointed with this place. First and foremost, rice should be ideal for a Thai restaurant. It is unbelievable that the rice was not properly cooked. We placed an order for jungle curry, bamboo shoot salad, and stir-fried with prawns. All other dishes—aside from stir-fried—are not authentic and tasty. The salad dressing is mediocre and the premade bamboo shoots are somewhat not fresh. Tiny quantities of jungle curry consist solely of bamboo shoots. The interior decorations make the already small space much smaller. Last but not least, you have to pay for the service charge and overall, it is quite expensive for below average food. We won’t come back and you can get better food in other places for what you might pay for here.

Amazing food, great family run restaurant with friendly customer service! I would definitely recommend! :) came here with my friends, one of us are vegan and they can make almost every dishes vegan to fit with our needs! I've ordered beef randang, deep fried seabass and special fried rice; the food is sooo goood, very generous amount for it price to the point that I have to take it home to have seconds! The restaurant is very aesthetic, vintage looking, I love it!!

We came here for one of our friend birthday party. The staff are supper helpful as she spend time explaining the menu as one of our friend have a mushroom allergy. All I can say is foods are amazing and the potions size is reasonably large, staff are helpful and friendly, atmosphere is great. Will return again. 🥰

The food is nice but shame on the service. They asked us how we liked the food. We were honest by telling them that we liked the food but the rice portions were tiny. We also reminded them that their takeaway rice portions are much larger than eating in. A bit sad given it's the cheapest ingredient. Instead of acknowledging, the waitress argued back. The manager was glued to her phone and when the waitress was telling her about our feedback, we only got a dirty look from the manger. We know restaurants in Britain aren't known for their hospitality. But at least don't ask your customers about their experience if you aren't willing to listen to them. Non-UK visitors, remember in the UK guests and constomers are not king/queen!!! 😩

Rudest place i have ever been to in my life. We were turned away at 1pm for lunch because they didn't open til 1.30pm (for lunch). The starters were nice but were obviously not fresh, as tepid. Probably what gave me the food poisoning. I had the "large" tom yam for main, £20 and more like a starter. By that time, my stomach started to turn.... i was told i couldn't go to the loo or i would have to pay her parking ticket. This was at 3pm. 1.5 hours after we ordered a 2 course meal. Revolting customer service. I had to go to the pub next door to go to the loo because she was so aggressive. Then was up all night on the loo. Avoid!!

Popped in for a Green Curry with sticky rice and vegetable spring rolls. Food was very tasty, filling and good portion sizes. Good customer service too. Would definitely return.

Second time to Siam Siam. The first time the food was great but the owner was very rude. We just put this down to him having a stressful busy night. (We think he’s the owner if he isn’t sack him!) So round two, we return as a family October 23. No change on the attitude. Walked in with one other couple in front of us and was then told all of you wait outside in the cold. The restaurant was quarter full. Maybe take a seat and have a drink would of been a good start, just a little tip there!! Never before have as a family have we been spoken to like this so of course it was time to leave For the second time this surly not acceptable. Manners cost nothing and nothing is what they received from us. Walked down the round and ended in PHO. What an amazing place. Great service and very professional staff. Ask for Aussie Nick he’s a legend who’s knows his stuff, a true professional. So the bottom line is DON’T GO TO SIAM SIAM there are so many great places to go in Brighton Siam is not one.

Back again for another visit, the staff are always polite and attentive and the food is just amazing, we had a mix of starters, satay chicken, vegetable tempura, spring rools. then for mains i had a chicken and cashew nut stir fry with coconut rice and my wife had a curry with coconut rice. beautiful food

Very friendly place, and I found the food to be delicious, so far so good. But it is a little bit expensive for what we received. Also, portions of rice served are far too small. however, I might come again in the future as we still enjoyed our experience.

Got a takeaway from the restaurant last night. It was the worst Thai food I've ever experienced. I'm not sure whether they prepare their own take-away at the restaurant because whatever we go seemed to have been prepared by someone who could not point out Thailand on a map. I'm not sure where to start so I'll start with the starters. Old Chicken on skewers Thai Fish cake that tasted over fishy Green Curry that tasted like it had no Green curry paste in it. I'll never order food from this place again.

We were hungry and tired and despite being a busy Saturday night, we were found a table for two. The staff were busy, but this didn't stop attention to detail and were so friendly and chatty without being intrusive. In fact, we could have chatted more! They gave us hints of where to visit as well as a bit of local knowledge and background. The food was FABULOUS. Fresh and plenty of it. It was reasonably priced and we will definitely re- visit next time we're in the area.

Great service on Saturday night. The staff fitted us in without a reservation and provided a warm and friendly service. Food was perfect and atmosphere great. Will be back soon.

Not fantastic and very small portions

We enjoyed dinner here and from the moment we arrived the service was friendly and impeccable. The menu was fantastic and the food we ordered was absolutely delicious Thai food served in good portions at reasonable prices. The restaurant also had a beautiful relaxed atmosphere that rounded out a wonderful experience

After reading reviews decided to visit restaurant…wasn’t that impressed seemed a bit too cafe style for us. Busy so others must like it

We ordered takeaway as we were staying in the airbnb right opposite. We got 10% discount as we picked it up ourselves. We didn't sit in the restaurant but can see from our apartment window that the restaurant looks nice & buzzing with dinners. The food was good but the tomyum soup was a little disappointing as I ordered mix seafood but not 1 piece of fish could be found in it. Also, the 1st sip of the soup, I was hit by a very strong fishy, almost like stale cuttlefish kinda taste.. abit unpleasant but it was ok after that. The Som Tam was very refreshing on the pallet. Overall, a nice change from Fish & Chips by the seaside. I would happily recommend this place.

A rocked up really a little bit too late to this Thai bistro. It was very busy despite the late hour and the staff were very welcoming and found me a table. The food was great - tasty and fresh.

The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. However the service is chaotic. The food does not come out in the order you would expect, with some tables getting their meals before others that had placed their orders way before them. Saying this though for the quality of food I would definitely return.

Came here because of good review, they are very busy even at 10pm on Wed, so they are obviously popular for the locals. The food is quite good, but wouldn't say the best Thai I have ever had. The portion is small, at least order one starter, one main and one side for one person. The price is standard, not too cheap and not too expensive.

Worst service I've ever experienced. Long wait for food. Overpriced. Mediocre food. Came with a group of friends for dinner. We didn't have a reservation, so had to wait 20mins (which wasn't a problem). Unfortunately, they then didn't come to take our order for a while, until one of the group asked a waitress. We ordered drinks, starters (which included prawn crackers) and mains, altogether, but with the expectation, that they would arrive staggered. We waited over 30mins to get our drinks, which only came, again, after a member of the party asking where our drinks were. We waited a further 30mins before we asked where the prawn crackers were. Once we ate the prawn crackers, there was another long wait before we got the other starters, and then another long wait before the mains came. We saw other peoples' food arrive before ours, even though we ordered our food before them. The prawn crackers came in a small basket, and there were no more than 8-10 crackers in the basket; I'm unsure as to how they can justify charging £3.50 for that! Soft drinks were ridiculously overpriced. In terms of the food, the duck was dry and thai green curry was watery. When we complained at the end, we were rudely dismissed by the female manager. We asked why we weren't told there was a long wait for food before we sat down, her response was, "can't you see it's busy!" We advised her, in the future she should tell customers before they sit down, that the wait for food is over an hour, so they can then make the decision themselves; she continued to argue with us.

A very nice and friendly little restaurant. The food was very tasty, especially the chicken wings. We ordered 2 mains but the kitchen staff only realised one was out of stock about 15 mins after we had ordered. The man who was serving our table was extremely apologetic and ended up taking our drinks order off of the bill, which was a really nice touch. Definitely a good find and would never have found it without trip advisor

Lovely friendly service and a beautiful looking restaurant. The food was tasty - two drunken noodles (which was VERY spicy - be warned) and a delicious, rich beef rendang. Not giving five stars though as next time, I’d swerve the starters - not up to the main courses - and the vegetable tempura was deep fried veg in breadcrumbs - delicious, but not as described! 😃

Really friendly welcome, the young guy who served us had his pictures up on the wall so was obviously part of the family. I had the Pad Thai and asked for duck rather than the normal chicken. He explained that this would cost a little more and that was fine, they were happy to accommodate even though it wasn't technically on the much time menu. Food came quick and was really tasty, a great Pad Thai if not a little on the small side. The duck was great, extremely tasty. My friends Green Thai Curry was also a little on the small side but then this was lunch I suppose. Overall I really liked this place and I have to say you did leave without feeling too over full which sometimes happens with curries (Thai or Indian). You have to be aware though that this is the kind of place were it is quality but on the pricier side of Thai food in Brighton. You are looking at £30 for 2 dishes, if we had thrown in starters and drinks as well I think we would have been looking at close to £50 and they are kind of small portions. BUT and this is the most important thing the food was amazing so if you have deep pockets or this is a business lunch with work paying then definitely give it a go

The food at Siam Siam was brilliant. I had Tom yum soup to start and it was delicious, (We also had dumpling to share which were as good as any dumpling I’ve had before) My girlfriend had the wings which were also really nice and a big portion, but they forgot to bring them out so had to wait a little while for them. But This is the reason it was a 4 instead of a 5 as the food was a 5/5! But the wait for the mains after our starters was easily 45 minutes. Which is a bit to long for me. Once the mains came out they was as tasty as the starters I had beef Rangdang and my girlfriend had the beef massaman, both were really nice and again big portion sizes. We also had the drunken noodles but we didn’t like them (not the restaurant fault we just don’t like really fishy things) Was good value as well, I was surprised to see the bill was less than £90. If I could give a 4.5 I would but it wasn’t quite a 5 just because of the long waits. Would definitely go again if in the area!

Would have been 5 stars but yhe online booking doesn't have the option to book for 1 person. This may put some people off. Luckily it didn't put me off and everything about the place was incredible

Amazing food. Ambiance is a little bit old fashion just can say not my style maybe. The place is a little bit allover unarrnaged. Apart from that can go to try some delicious thai food. A bit expensive from other restaurants when compared everthing.

Stopped in for a quick meal after a long day travelling. Got seated straight away just as the restaurant was filling up. We hadn’t booked. Can’t fault the food or service. We had two mains two sides and two small beers and came to £60. Thought that was a bit pricey.

I decided to visit this restaurant for a solo dinner, intrigued by its Thai cuisine and influenced by the positive reviews, especially considering it was one of the last ones to close. Promptly, I ordered an appetizer followed by a main course. Surprisingly, despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff served my food quickly, which I appreciated since dining alone can sometimes feel monotonous if the wait is too long. The food itself was acceptable, meeting my basic expectations. However, it didn't leave a lasting impression or stand out from other Thai dishes I've tried elsewhere. While the experience was satisfactory, it wasn't compelling enough to entice me to return solely for the food. In summary, this restaurant's fast service and decent food make it a viable option for a quick and convenient meal, particularly for solo diners. However, in terms of flavour and uniqueness, it falls in line with other Thai food offerings that can be found throughout the area.

We arrived Saturday night with no reservation and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. The server was brilliant and was able to provide recommendations. The food was hot and fresh when it arrived and came in a timely manner. I really can't fault anything about the restaurant. Best thai we've ever had and will be returning on our next trip to Brighton.

Ordered Pad Thai, Stir Fry and Chicken Wings to be delivered at home. The delivery was very fast, despite ordering at a very busy time (dinner) and the food was great - Especially their Pad Thai! Tastes just like the food I’ve had when I visited Thailand. Next time I’ll order Thai food, it will definitely be from this place again.

From the beggining, it looked like we're not welcome there, from the owners reactions. Food was generally good, as only few dishes were not tasty (spare ribs, bamboo salad). But service was extremely poor. Waitress did not know all the menu, and didnt get one of the dishes. But the worst thing was the attitude after 30 minutes wait for desert. As I noted that to the restaurants owner, no apology was made. Furthermore, no action was made , and a promise for 15 minutes more, with a sour face. As this comes from management, who cant take responsibility and treats a customer this way, one can learn how they values the customers.

Good Thai food - fresh tasting - nice vibe. A little pricey perhaps. Great service though, and absolute credit to our top waitress who reacted with great calm and speed when someone's menu caught fire.

Pad Thai with chicken was good. Green curry with chicken was seriously chilli hot, too much for me to enjoy it, and very light on chicken. The duck with red curry had very little duck meat, mainly bits of fat. Overall pretty disappointed.

Had a quick dinner prior to a bit meeting. Had the Pad Thai which was excellent. Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Dined here last night for a belated valentines dinner. Food was incredible, the drunken noodles (while rather spicy) were out of this world. Staff are just wonderful and possibly the most welcoming restaurant experience I've had in a while. Family run, owned and discovered some of the pictures on the wall were our waiter! 10/10 from me and the Ms. Can't wait for next time...

Food was tasty, but the table was uneven and too small for the food, very over priced, double gin, soft drink and 2 mains over £58.00, bill was badly printed, toilets poor with no way to dry hands. I wouldnt reckonmend this restuarnt, and I like Thai food.

Randomly walked in on a busy Friday night and the staff were amazing! Found us a table and were so attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious, fresh and perfectly presented. Definitely a gem.

I recommend this place. The customer service is great, they made a space for us without reservation on a weekend, and the food is amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly, so crispy and flavorous. The restaurant interior looks great too.
