Top food in a great atmosphere! We had the buffet menu which was of high quality and full of flavour. The Duck was the best we’ve had and all was serviced piping hot! It was a cold night and the restaurant temperature was perfect. We will definitely be back.

The food is just lovely. A small little place with a HUGE menu. We had the buffet menu and were not disappointed. So much food - well worth a visit.

The service and food were both very good. My friend, who is gluten intolerant, was impressed with the comprehensive information by recipe of all allergens. The pricing was around average from my experience. It was a little quiet when we were there but we were early in the evening. I would definitely use it again.

A return visit for us, and we will continue to use this excellent thai restaurant for both meals in and takeaways. We had the buffet, and it was delicious as always, and good value. Service was attentive but not intrusive, and the complimentary drink at the end was well received. Highly recommended.

We ordered a takeaway from Siam Orchid this evening. My partner ordered a vegetarian dish with tofu. When he went to collect the food, he was handed the bag and the member of staff told him there was no tofu so it was just vegetables. They didn't call to see if he wanted to choose an alternative or offer a discounted price. I wish he'd asked for a refund at the time. The rest of the food was ok. We won't order again.

We tried the buffet this evening and must say it was quite disappointing. We felt as if the staff just wanted to lock up and go ! Food was pretty average and that is being very realistic. I had 2 dishes marked on the menu as 3 chillis for heat. In my honest opinion it was all very bland. The young waiter that was very new tried his best tho and was very helpful - full credit where it is due

Birthday celebrations for 3 generations. What a lovely place. Food was amazing, service great very patient explaining the buffet menu (while not complicated, they was a few us and perhaps not everyone got it first time!!). Highly recommended and we will be back.

Have known of this little gem for a number of years but as we're not local to the town, we haven't had the opportunity to eat here until now. Such a quirky little restaurant, split out on two levels. Food was absolutely fantastic (we had one of the set menus, starter sharing platter, four main dishes and a dessert each) plenty to feed us both with a little left over. One thing which added to the quirkiness, was being handed a pint glass of water (when asking if we could have some water at the table) 🤭. Certainly didn't detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Went here years ago and it was really good. Not so good now. Duck was very fatty and not crispy. Food was very salty. Service OK but only ok. All you can eat buffet, but felt guilty asking for more. Bit disappointing tbh.

Worst Thai food of my life, the squid was inedible, I removed the batter from one of the peace’s and it was solid and looked like nanny Mcfees toe nails. Sweet pad Thai was sweeter then sugar it’s self. Never ordering from here again

Lovely quiet little restaurant, with a friendly and quirky atmosphere. Service was perfect and the meal was utterly divine. I feel myself salivating just thinking about it. Worth the hour drive to Andover! I will definitely be visiting again.

Disappointing meal, was expecting more from the reviews. Not an authentic Thai restaurant, tasted cheap and bland. Tom yam soup was the only good thing we tried. Will not be returning, there is a much better Thai restaurant nearby.

Myself and friend visited Siam Orchid last night and I can't say enough good about it. It is small but cosy. Warm and inviting. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was top notch full of flavour. The service was quick but you could tell a lot of care had gone into the food. Very reasonably price too. Will definitely be returning. Second time visiting tonight... Food was amazing as before. However service was more 3 star than 5. The waiter did not know how to pronounce the menu options, was brought out green Thai curry instead of red and also not given the option to order rice which ideally should have been offered once we have the order of a curry. Brought coconut rice before being given an option to begin with. Apart from that, lovely atmosphere and nice background music. A very intimate and perfect place for a romantic date. Will be returning.

This is comfortably the best place in Andover to go and eat, great atmosphere good favour and the food is cracking. Would definitely recommend if you want to have dinner out, I wish we had something similar in Guidlford!

We used to love this place but the food appears to have gone downhill. A couple of the dishes smelt and tasted off. Shame.

I have been a customer at this restaurant and have always been satisfied with their food. However, my most recent order of noodles with chicken was a disappointment. The moment I opened the package at home, an unpleasant odor wafted out, making it difficult to cope with. Sadly, the food had to be discarded outside as the smell was so overwhelming. This is the first time I have had to leave a negative review for anyone, but I felt it necessary to share my experience. It is my hope that the restaurant can take this feedback constructively and improve its quality control measures to ensure a consistent standard of food for its customers.

I love this place, the food is amazing and the service is great. I live 150 miles away, but when I stay in Andover, this is the first place I eat. I recommend the soft shell crab. It's delicious

The food was quite good, I avoided the fried starters and had satay and ribs with chicken curry and rice for main course. Service wasn't brilliant but this may be to having new staff. A quiet evening and not many customers. Slightly annoying that they brought the bill before we asked for it. Otherwise ok

Let's start with the good - lovely setting in a small unusual building. Food wise the chicken satay was delicious and the coconut rice was excellent. Unfortunately though that's where the good finished... Don't know if our waiter was new or just having a bad night, but he got our drinks order wrong, and I had to twice ask twice for a glass of water. Also waited over 15 mins from asking for the bill to receiving it. Didn't seem to be able to remember more than one thing at once. Was also treated to the aroma of burnt food wafting from the kitchen.... Food wise it was all just a bit disappointing. We had the mixed platter to start, the ribs were pretty tasteless, whilst there seemed to be filling missing from my spring roll! The other items were greasy and overdone. Also had some tempura veg, which was bland and very greasy. Mains sadly didn't improve. The massaman tasted like it had caught the pan, the sweet and sour was vinegary and the panang overly flavoured. Been about 10 years since I ate here and will probably be another 10 before I try it again.

Wow this place is terrible!! We went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, my wife is Thai and we have eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the area and this is by far the very worst. Drinks orange juice and coke, the orange juice was more fizzy than the coke almost gone off, the stater was actually ok but I expect bought in as the mains were awful, not hot and salty, very salty, my noodles were so over cooked they were slimey. We didn't drink our drinks and ate 1/3 our mains, complained and they didn't charge for 1 main. Never go there again.

I first visited here when I moved to Andover and was reassured to find a decent local thai, having been spoilt for choice living in London. Tonight I had yet another awful meal from here and will not return. The egg fried rice was so greasy my kids (who were starving after playing sports) refused to eat it. My thai rice was also bland, greasy and looked like the innards from a hoover bag. The only thing that was nice were the spring rolls but then they are frozen and thrown in the oven. Such a shame as this place was good once. Finally, being asked to pay cash on collection was not appreciated.

My 2nd time visiting here and will definitely be our last. Very awkward and unprofessional welcome, followed by a very long wait to even ask our drinks order,not that the flat,warm Diet Coke was worth the wait, we bailed out before even ordering food as we could foresee it was going to be just as bad as our last visit where our food wasn’t hot and the service was terrible.
