My friends and l enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant. Very friendly welcome. I would recommend the ribs as a starter. The meat fell off the bone. Would also recommend the Thai white wine. Wonderful atmosphere, great food. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal at Siam Kitchen on Weds 21st July hosted by the family, the service was amazing, the food was incredible and the cost was unbelievable we would definitely recommend to anyone, the restaurant is very authentic with a good real Thai atmosphere no glitz or glamour needed as the food, cost, family speaks for itself. We will 100% be back when next visiting Broadstairs

We had a takeaway from here (lockdown time). The order was ready at the time we requested and the staff are friendly. The menu rates dishes as 0, 1 or 2 chillies. We though 2 chillies woud be very hot (as Thai can be) so went for a Red curry and a Massaman (one chilli rated). The Massaman wasn't bad, had some texture to the sauce and the beef and sweet potato pieces were nice, but it lacked any heat. The red curry was disappointing - very watery and insipid, the chicken and veg were fresh and nicely done but the sauce was like weak soup; no heat discernable. Maybe our fault for not asking for 2-chilli strength, but this for me didn't deserve more than 0 for spice.

We had a fantastic take-away yesterday from Siam Kitchen Thai Food in Broadstairs!! The mixed appetisers and other starters (prawns satay/ tender BBQ ribs/crispy noodles) were amazing and very tasty. The prawns red curry and the duck green curry were excellent!! The banana rolls with honey and coconut sauce finished perfectly the nice treat. The food was yummy, fresh and delicious. We cannot wait to have another take-away!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Popped into this little gem of a place for lunch. From the lunch menu I had dim sum to start and my wife had crab cakes, and they were both delicious, but the main courses - chicken curry with soup and noodles for me, pad thai for my wife - were even better. Fantastic, inexpensive food, lovely relaxed atmosphere, just great. We will be back one evening soon to eat from the full menu, although it's hard to imagine how it could contain anything better than what we had at lunch. Worth travelling to, but booking probably a good idea in the evening, as it is small

Absolutely disgusting please don’t waste your money! I’m not sure I would feed it to my dog! Tasteless, cold, rice and noodles all stuck together, sesame prawn toast like I’ve never seen (see picture) I called to complain about the £60 it cost and wanted to bring it back as inedible and they told me they can only do something if returned within ten minutes of collection! We had to get to the car, get it back and dish it up to discover how rank the food was!! What a disgrace. To top it all of there was a hair in the noodles! Disgusting!!!!! I’ve had better Thai in the M&S dine in two for a tenner! SLUDGE! May as well have burnt £60 notes.

This is the best place to eat in Broadstairs at lunchtime. I have been to the home of Kao Soi, Chiang Mai , Thailand many times and I can confirm that Siam Kitchen make one of the best Kao Soi anywhere. First visit here after moving to E Kent from busy N Kent. Lots of restaurants in Broadstairs but not many Thai. I had a Pad Thai. A bowl of prawn crackers and chilli sauce were brought to me first. Then the Pad Thai. Very hot, fresh and delicious. The Jasmine Tea was excellent. Tea bag Jasmine Tea which I tend to avoid but this tea was as good as loose leaf. The bill came with a chocolate, mint and humbug. I dined alone as I usually do and felt very happy here as clearly it is a family run business with the wife waitressing tonight and the father cooking. Both very pleasant people and I felt very at home. Such a treat to eat out in a family restaurant and the fish tank is delightful (with another on the way out to the toilets). Hand soap and paper towels in the toilet so all good there too. One can go and have a cardboard box of fish and chips or a double gin or, for the same money !!!! sit in a cosy restaurant and eat Pad Thai with tea......... No brainer really!!! I'll be back for sure. Thank you for looking after me tonight.

My wife had the wok stir-fried veg and tofu which she thought was delicious with strong flavours of garlic coming through. My wife opted for coconut rice on the side. We have been regular visitors to Broadstairs over the summer, and have eaten at Siam Kitchen on several occasions. As other reviewers say, it is necessary to book if you really want to eat there on evenings at the weekend. Siam Kitchen only has 6 tables (a max of 20 people seated). The owners/staff are delightful and we have always found the service very friendly and efficient, yet unhurried, so not the place to eat if you are in a rush. Our family has a mix of meat eaters/vegetarians and we all find a lot on the menu to choose from. My own favourite (although it sounds strange as a highlight) is the garlic brown rice. I've never found this anywhere else, and it's really tasty. There's a 10% discount for eating in if you pay in cash.

Came here as a quick stop before heading home after passing by earlier on in the day & noticing the good reviews. We stopped in around 6:30 & noticed that every table in the small quaint restaurant had been reserved! They asked could we leave by 8pm & we would be allowed a table if so! Luckily for us our parking ticket was due to run out so we were happy to oblige! We are so glad we came! The staff were lovely smiling, friendly & Thai people. The chef lady even popped out to hand out some food & gave a winning smile in our direction! The restaurant is typical Thai dashings of bright colours & wooden shrines & decorations including pictures of the king who is so highly loved by the Thai people, which gives a lovely feel to the restaurant & really transports you to Thailand! Lovely traditional thai music was playing in the background during our quick visit. We ordered dim sum, fish cakes & chicken pad kae maow all for us to share. Everything all came together as we didn’t have lots of time. The 5 dim sums were to die for, beautifully fresh dumpling doe, so extremely tasty, the meat just melted in our mouths & came with a lovely dipping sauce. I would highly recommend this dish! The 4 fish cakes were yummy & came with a sweet chilli & crunchy peanut sauce again tasty. The chicken pad kae maow was not somthing we had had before as it’s normally seen as a beef dish throughout Thailand & the hundreds of Thai restaurants I have been to! However it was tasty & quite spicey & fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I have visited Siam Kitchen many times over the years as we live locally. Recently took my parents and nephews as well because they were visiting the area, and they loved it. My parents love Thai food and were really impressed by how delicious and authentic their meals were. My dad enjoyed his beer, my mum and I shared some Thai wine which was very good, and my husband tried the Thai iced tea which was so good I had to have one for myself too. The staff are wonderful hosts, with nothing being too much effort. Their food is consistently great quality, tastes great and the atmosphere within the restaurant itself is always relaxed and welcoming. It is not a large restaurant which my family liked as it gave them a chance to talk to the couple near us who were visiting from The Netherlands and wanted to ask my dad's advice on what to order as they had never had Thai food before. They also seemed really impressed with their meals. Honestly cannot recommend enough.

We went on Saturday evening and chose vegetable spring rolls for starters, vegetarian red curry, chicken with cashew nuts and oyster sauce, with sticky rice and egg noodles. Prawn crackers and a dip were served as a complimentary starter. The ingredients were all very fresh and cooked to order (with maybe a slightly longer wait than would be usual). Courses were delicious, flavours were balanced, and the overall meal was delightful. Visited Broadstairs for the first time in many years. Find Siam Kitchen as we wandered along and noted their lunch menu. I had the red curry with prawns and my significant other had the Chang Mai chicken curry. Both came with rice or noodles and a salad. We had two Cokes and the whole bill came to 15 pounds..they even give 10 per cent discount for cash. The food was excellent. The whole experience was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

We dont go to Siam kitchen that often and probably ought to! Chef always takes a pride in the food he serves and we like it.. 1st time we've been for lunch and the lunch menu is a little limited compared to the evening. We will be back in the evening next time!

It's a small place but the staff was friendly and I was promptly offered the lunch menu. Fair choice of items and reasonably priced. I chose a railroad fried rice but was pleasantly surprised to get a small salad and prawn crackers at no extra charge. The food was tasty and enjoyable. Worth coming again.

There were seven of us in our party and we had a freshly cooked, fabulous meal. Excellent service and good atmosphere, as restaurant was full. Would recommend this restaurant to eat in or take away, as we did the other week.

This is a tiny little restaurant which fits about 6 tables. It is a true family run joint in that when we were there, the husband wife were in the kitchen cooking while the brother of the wife was servingThe food is cheap and good quality. The downside is the wait. We waited almost 2 hours in total to be served our starters and mains. We didn't mind too much. But if you can't deal with that don't go. If you have time do check this page out. The food was great.

What a wonderful Thai restaurant, fantastic food and a great setting.Without doubt it was the best Thai food we've had since visiting Thailand three years ago. The food was authentic and flavoursome and genuine to the Thai way of cooking without loosing the flavours for the English palate which unfortunately many Thai restaurants do.Definitely worth a visit and if it's full then do get a takeaway.

Our family love Thai food but despite the warm welcome we were extremely disappointed with the very poor quality food we had for lunch. Thai red curry didn't taste at all nice and nothing like what you get in a better restaurant. My daughters sweet and sour chicken was awful and full of large pieces of raw vegetables in a thick sticky sauce. Would not recommend even though the price was very reasonable.

I eat here on a fairly regular basis. The staff are sweet and friendly and food is cooked to order so you can ask for more or less chilli depending on your palate. I have always eaten well here

Small restaurant but packs a punch on flavour! We have eaten here several times as we live locally. Each time we are always very happy with our meal and excellent service. It's a family run business and you are always made to feel very welcome by the whole team. Need to book a table during peak summer season and children's holidays. I think the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays out of season. Always best to call to check. We will return as we love Thai food.

We were hoping to go to Da's Thai, which has had great reviews, but as it was closed on Bank Holiday Sunday we came here instead. It looks unassuming, but the food was delicious - we had pad Thai and massaman curry with egg fried rice. The rice was beautiful - so full of flavour, and glossy with oil without being cloying. The curry had two large chunks of chicken on the bone, which fell apart under your fork and were delicious. And the pad Thai was flavourful and delicious too. Portions are quite small, but we were still full at the end of the meal, and for £10 a head including tip (with two soft drinks and the 10% discount), it was a real bargain. I live in London, but really wish this was my local Thai restaurant.

Prospective diners walking down Albion Street will quickly become aware that there are a number of restaurants to hand offering a range of cuisines. After a little `window shopping' our party of three eventually opted for Thai and duly entered this small family run restaurant and takeaway. It came as something of a surprise when we noticed we were the only diners, especially as it was Easter Saturday lunchtime and the town was busy.We received a warm welcome, were offered any table of our choice and handed the menus for perusal. Eventually, after some indecision we made our individual selections and ordered the starters and main courses which included tempura vegetables, thai dim sum, chicken wings and tom yum seafood accompanied by pots of green and jasmine tea.The food was perfectly acceptable, although one or two more items of seafood would have been welcome in the large bowls of tom yum at the expense of the noodles! Table service throughout was very good, friendly but not intrusive and on two occasions we were asked if all was satisfactory which was appreciated, particularly when the chef complete with hat appeared from the kitchen. Our party were all happy with the dining experience and whilst noting some mixed reviews on tripadvisor we could find no faults. The small dining area was clean and comfortable; however on reflection no inspection was made of the washroom facilities on this occasion. We did not consider the various dishes expensive as they seemed to mostly range between £4-7, but in my opinion the cost of beer and wine was rather pricey when compared against similar outlets.
