Had a great meal here. It was on a Friday night so busy but the service was excellent and the food came out quick, fresh and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Service was super speedy, we could probably have gone in and out within 45 minutes if needed, but we didn't because the decor was lovely. Staff were very nice, topping up our drinks so they could move glasses out the way, and moving plates as soon as they were done. Probably not the greatest food, but it was still very good and I think everything else makes up for it. Recommend.

Excellent quality food served in a friendly environment. The menu provides a wide range of Thai dishes. Online booking unreliable - seating location requested a month in advance was not honoured.

What a lovely place, lovely food, and lovely staff! Only “problem” is we were sharing prawn crackers (the best we have tasted!), a vegetarian platter to start, and then a main course, consisting of a pad Thai prawn, and I had crispy aubergine which was amazing, but we were so full we couldn’t finish it!! However, it was delicious, fresh and very tasty. We would absolutely go back!

Amazing food brilliant service, would highly recommend

Very small portions for the price paid £20 for a sharing starter for 2 it was very poor, when it arrives you think its for one till the waiter confirms its for two. We ordered to pad tai for the main one chicken and one pork but some how they managed to bring out to prawn when we challenged the wrong order we got tutted at and given the luck. However the worst part of the whole experience was that we have received all our starter main and desert within 45 minutes to the delightful sum of £70 decently not worth the money .

Nice vegan and veggie options, the spring rolls were different from Indian style, seemed to have a few vegan/veggie optionns there which was nice. The batter on the veg tempura was quite nice too. I had the green tofu curry, which wasn't all that. The sauces that came with the platter were nice!

All excellent. The food was superb. Nonny served us; he was excellent, too. My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch here. We have not been in years but have resolved to come again soon.

Superb Thai food dispensed by enthusiastic friendly staff. Book if you can but I am positive that they will get you in if you just turn up. I had an excellent green curry and my partner an equally good red curry with steamed rice.

Had a family lunch 1st time at this restaurant and I seriously can’t fault it. I have been to Thailand many times and can say the food is definitely authentic Thai. The staff were very helpful and attentive the service was excellent. They have a kids Thai menu. We loved our visit here. Friendly staff, gorgeous rooms, clean, and best of all, the food is STUNNING! I love thai food, but this place is one of the best places ever. Great cocktails, the quality of the food is exceptional, and the ambiance is really lovely. Comfy chairs, great sturdy cutlery and presentation is beautiful.

Wonderful Thai restaurant. Turned up without a reservation on a busy Saturday night, but staff were very helpful and arranged us a table for two. Very nice massaman curry with pad Thai, authentic flavors. Delicious spicy prawns. Lovely evening, recommend highly for excellent Thai food.

I came with my dad early on Saturday evening, food was very fresh and tasty and staff were friendly and attentive, great portion of seafood with my main which you don’t normally get… will return very soon.

We keep coming back to Ma Ma Thai – great Thai cuisine, with ample vegetarian choice. It is our favourite eating place for a meal before attending evening events at the Cathedral, which is a five minute walk away. Service is prompt, so no worries about keeping to schedule! We’d highly recommend.

Lovely early pre theatre dinner with my wife. Polite meet and greet, very comfortable seating and table, excellent service and authentic quality food at a fair price. Portions were just right to. Definitely will visit again when in town.

I love this place. Attentive staff. Great menu. And most importantly, absolutely lovely food. The beef massaman, crispy tamarind duck, pad Thai and yellow chicken curry were all amazing. Warning: there is a high risk of overeating because the food is delicious.

The entrance to the venue is amazing. Litchfield has a popular atmosphere all the time. Starters with a main as no rush evening. Chicken satay, veg spring rolls, little parcells. Noodles, curry and egg fried rice. No rush. Clean and very friendly. Very popular in town.

Wow, what has happened to Ma Ma Thai?! We normally save Thai takeaway for special occasions, today being our anniversary. The food arrived promptly to our door, from a friendly well-dressed lad. Unfortunately the treat ended there, the prawn crackers we paid £4 for were very stale. We absolutely love Thai prawn crackers, but these were not nice. Both of the sauces for our main courses were so watery they could be passed off as soup. My Massaman is usually full of meat, potatoes etc but there were two potatoes and a handful of meat. The rest was watery soup. At least the rice was nice - so a second star given for that at least. Not a great experience overall, especially as 2 main courses, rice and prawn crackers cost us over £40! Sadly we'll be going elsewhere next time.

Booked online, waited for confirmation that didn't materialise so thought we would still pop in. Spoke to the waiter who laughed at us and said we should have booked 2 weeks in advance. Poor customer service and I really do not appreciate being laughed at! Why have a booking system if you don't use it! A no would have done.

Only down side was the price of a small Chang beer, £4.95 which was overpriced, other than that, a lovely experience.

My wife and I ate here last night and although the restaurant was very quiet, the food was excellent, service was very attentive and the cost of food and wine very reasonable, I would highly recommend

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered. We ordered three or four different dishes. They were all very salty and seemed to be doused in a thin brown sauce that made them all taste the same. The noodles were very rubbery and the beef was so tough it was virtually inedible. The waiter asked whether we had enjoyed it and when I gave my opinion he said he would speak to the manager. No compensation was offered. We were presented with a hefty bill for a diabolical meal.

Food is good but your online system for booking a table is absolutely shocking sort it out and get your own website made.

We would say this was the best Thai meal we’ve ever eaten. The restaurant was nicely decorated, there was plenty of choice of food and staff were helpful in telling us about the dishes. The flavours were varied and uniformly delicious and quantities were generous. We paid £94 for a half-bottle of sparkling wine, a bottle of red, a plate of starters and one of the set menus which featured a selection of meat, fish and vegetables. We think this was excellent value and would happily eat here again.

Had dinner here on Saturday and had a great meal. Food is incredibly tasty and authentic. We had the sharing platter starter which had crispy spring rolls, fish cakes chicken skewers and other thing which were very tasty. My only issue was that you don't get a lot for the price. Wife had the duck red curry for main which had super crispy skin and was very tasty. I had the chicken noodles which were equally as good. Came to £80 for a sharing starter, two mains and bottle of wine which is a bit in the expensive side but the food really is very good

Got takeout from here... Managed to get a gluten free vegetarian dish for my wife who has food intolerance issues. I Red Thai curry was delicious.

Visited for the first time yesterday, before attending a concert at the Cathedral. The welcome was warm, the service was excellent and the food outstanding. I had chicken cashew nut stir fry (Pud Med Ma Maung) with steamed rice, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. My husband had crispy duck in Mama's sauce (Ped Sam Rod) with egg fried rice, which again, was really delicious, he said it was the crispiest duck he'd very had and the sauce was gorgeous. Both meals we're beautifully presented and staff checked with us to make sure everything was OK. A great experience and we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately I had food poisoning. Last time I went there they definitely served us some bad food.

My wife and myself stayed in Lichfield and fancied some Thai food so we looked online to find Siam corner which stated they were open from midday to 22:00 so we made our way there at about 14:15 only to be told by the waitress...

Spotlessly clean, attentive staff, excellent service and very very good food. My son and I were lucky enough to get a walk-in table for two amongst the bustling atmosphere. We were promptly sat and had our drinks order taken. My Thai son, although only 5 years old, opted for the whole Sea Bass with a noodle side, I had the Kra Pow Moo, Isaan style, extra spicy Som Tam (papaya salad) and egg fried rice, washed down with 3 Singha beers. The food was excellent, very fresh and full of flavour. My son loved the boneless Sea Bass too. The artistic decor reminded me of the ornate paintings found in the Royal Thai Temple, London, Wat Buddhapadipa. I’d certainly return again. The host and her staff were very attentive. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

Wedding anniversary supper. Having the good fortune to be married to an excellent cook. It can be a challenge to find a restaurant that passes muster. Siam’s website booking system is okish but does not send a email confirmation. Phoned up to confirm. Pleasant welcome into the restaurant’s beautifully opulent dining rooms. Many occupied tables which is encouraging though less open on à Monday night? Opted for the set menu for 3 which was beautifully presented, very tasty and provided a lot of yummy food. Service could be slow but was competent and friendly. It was busy… We felt overall experience was a 5 star one and will return.

Fantastic lunch again here, unbelievably good value. Their satay is the best we’ve ever tasted. Lovely people and a lovely restaurant. Fab!

Excellent lunch out with hubby and sister on Saturday afternoon. We opted for the lunch time set menu at £13.50. It was fantastic! All cooked fresh. We all chose differently so that we could share and everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend :0)

Very authentic Thai food, all staff including the chef are Thai. Highly recommend the starter platter both vegan and the normal one which basically includes everything from the starter menu. You wouldn’t disappointed with any soup either! I use to come every week and I was very lucky to found one extremely tasty Thai fried rice which is not on the menu. Haven’t come back for more than half year now and a bit disappointed about the fried rice is not the one I usually have this time…can’t remember the Thai name and the lady who always serve us is not in on the day we visited. Overall, still recommend to try if you like Thai food like us.

Just returned after my wife's birthday meal. On arrival the place looked nice and we were greeted and shown to our table. We ordered the set menu B for 2. The waitress brought out the Starter which was very nice, a good selection. But it took an age to collect the empty plates and bring the next course. She then brought the rice and a main, and said 'that's everything ' I said I hope not and another waiter came and sorted this out and brought the other dishes Again food was very nice, lovely. After waiting a while to collect the plates. We asked for some table water and the dessert menu. After 20 mins we received neither, so we just got the bill and left. Nice food, shame service was so slow. I don't like to be rushed, but this was the polar opposite. Won't rush back.

This was hands down the nicest Thai meal we have eaten in years. Fantastic variety, brilliant quality and presentation. Good setting and attentive staff. Will be returning.

Booked to go for my husbands meal last nnnight for 4 of us. We were 5 minutes late and when we said we had booked they said no booking. My daughter pointed out that they had crossed our name out and put no show ???...

Great place, interesting and vibrant decor, helpful, friendly staff and plenty of them. Had a delicious meal, reasonably priced considering the quality of ingredients - lots of perfect vegetables and well-cooked proteins, with tasty sauces. We had Set Menu A for 2 people, £22.95 pp (July 2022). Would definitely return.

Dropped in on a Saturday night after so many other places were 'full' or too noisy. Why it wasn't busier suprised me. The welcome was warm, the hosptality and attendance by staff was exceptional and the food was the best we have had out in long long time.

Excellent food. But not cheap. The atmosphere was spoilt by the fact that a family came in and couldn't control their youngest. In my opinion children should be seen and not heard at restaurants. Not be left to run amuck.

Adhoc lunch visit. The guys were about to go on lunch themselves but they said they would we could take a table and they would wait. Within 20 minutes we were served. Food was fantastic, service was superb and considering they were about to close for lunch, we weren't rushed. Extremely accomodating, excellent service and fantastic food. We will definitely be back..
