Excellent breakfast good value stayed for cakes and coffee first class service from declan lovely atmosphere would recommend visiting

We stopped in with the dog for coffee and cake. Staff were lovely as always especially our server Emma. Very accommodating to the dog and checking he always had water.

The potting shed is a very trendy place to go and hands down the customer service is the best due to one young guy named Declan. Each and every time we have been in he is attentive, friendly and nothing is ever and issue for him. He deserves a pay rise for sure!

Fabulously quick service by the lovely Declan. Eggs royal were superb. Thanks guys, highly recommend! Nothing was too much trouble. Decor is amazing, and a nice buzz for a Monday morning.

Emma was our server and was very attentive and friendly. The overall look and atmosphere is great! Promt service, good menu. We got the smoked salmon wrap and the steak wrap, either garlic salted fries and potato and leek soup. We really enjoyed all apart from the flavour of the steak wrap. Although the meat was lovely and tender the flavor was really bland, a bit soggy and we didn't enjoy that so much, bit overall a lovely lunch and very much enjoyed being in. Would definitely be back. Had the smoked cheese and ham sandwich which was fine but bread on the dry side. Nice selection of cakes and traybakes. Coffee good. Attractive decor.

3 adults and 1 child. Mug of soup was tasty and thick but small (£4) 2 pancakes with toppings were very dry and again, a small portion (£8.50!) Sharing platter was nowhere near worth the money. £19 for 8 small tater tots, 2 skewers of chorizo and halloumi and 2 spoons of pulled pork on a lettuce leaf and some battered chicken. Platter was missing half the halloumi. The pulled pork was blended smooth, not pulled and everything was cold. £7 for a glass of red wine. Charged for an alcoholic version of the virgin Bloody Mary because they don't have a button for the virgin one (£8) Had to ask for our station to be cleaned when we arrived as the floor was covered in food. Also the waitress tried to clear the table while we were still eating which is annoying. Even after a discount the total was still nearly £50. Pros - The food was tasty and the setting is really nicely done.

A delicious lunch as always with lovely service from Declan. We recommend the filled bagels and baguettes. The mint slice is a tasty treat.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor, we both feel really comfortable and cosy here! We had a lovely valentines dinner: the food was great and well presented, the staff were very accommodating, especially our server Declan! He is so lovely, friendly and helpful and we think he does an amazing job! Thanks for a great night :)

A great little spot for lunch. We were served by Declan and despite there being a rush in the restaurant, Declan was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. He was very friendly and provided service with a smile. Food was lovely and service quick. Would absolutely visit again especially if we were being served by Declan!

Had an amazing time at the boozy brunch, atmosphere was amazing, food was excellent and the staff very fab, especially Carrie , amazing service from herself, nothing was too much trouble, highly recommend this as a day out, worth every penny. Continued downstairs for live music with Jamie clark, excellent entertainment from him, lovely atmosphere and setting was ideal, thoroughly enjoyed my day, can't wait to go back.

I really enjoyed my lunch at the Potting Shed. I had the Highlander loaded tater tots. It was lovely to see something delicious on the menu that was also unique. I have not seen this offered anywhere else, and I am hooked. I'll be coming back for more! The only reason I have given this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't serve burgers for lunch. Burgers don't start until 3. The menu for lunch is quite small for such a large place and mostly consists of breakfast food. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The music was a bit loud and I couldn't understand why they were playing hip-hop/rap in a restaurant that seems designed to make you feel as if you're relaxing outside. Large windows. High ceilings. Green plants. Neutral tones. The restaurant is beautiful. The music was unnecessarily distracting. Our server was Declan and he was brilliant. He was polite and friendly and very efficient. Lovely young fella. Overall, it's those haggis tots that will bring me back. This was a working lunch for me but my co-worker found the menu to be too limited for us to recommend for another work lunch. Honestly, it's a shame about the burgers. I can't see why in the world they don't serve them until 3.

We came out as a group of 4 to celebrate my brother in laws recent engagement. The terrace did not disappoint infact, it exceeded all of our expectations. The food, wine, ambience and overall experience was second to none! The quality of food was fantastic...

Not a great experience. Booked in for Xmas day dinner with the family. We were seated at our time of 4pm. Took a full hour for our starters to arrive. In that hour we had one round of drinks and no one came near us again until our starters arrived. Mine was fine but 3 others had Mellon which came out dry,hard and inedible. We all enjoyed our intermediate, not sure if this was because most of us were still starving. Took a further 1hr and 15mins for our mains to come out. This was after being told twice they were on their way. Again once eating no one came near us to ask how our food was although there was plenty waiting staff standing at the bar. Again we had to get the attention to ask for drinks. Now one of the children had gor a cheeseburger that came out very pink in the middle, the meat also came out very dry and most left this also. But the very worst was when our deserts came, one had ordered a trio of sorbet with fruit. It came glass and all straight out the freezer. The fruit was frozen solid and the sorbet had refrozen and inedible, this was exchanged but came out a melted mess, then everyone that had desserts on plates had one spoonful and them left. Not because they tasted bad but because the plates which they were served on were filthy. Obvs been washed they a dirty dishwasher. We did show the floor manager and he was embarrassed and couldn't apologise enough. To his credit we were compt a round of drinks and on our way out we were given a £50 voucher. This is all well and good but cost us a lot more than this to have a ruined Xmas dinner. We decided to have a nice meal out to avoid the stress of cooking an Xmas meal in the house buy ended up having a disaster. Over 3.5 for dinner was unacceptable and but having all these problems too is not on. Were were not the only customers having issues, people waiting that long they were having to leave with deserts in takeaway tubs. More guests being compt drinks off bill when leaving. Looks like they had the same issues as us. The setting does look lovely but we definitely did not have a good experience.

Popped in for lunch on boxing day, mainly as only place that was dog friendly. Opted for festive baguette which was delicious, son had the turkey burger and said was amazing. The dog menu and attention paid to my wee dog was fantastic. Told the husband to take me here for my birthday next week. Will definitely recommend, especially if you have your dog with you.

We enjoyed a great breakfast with Santa at The Potting Shed this morning. The surroundings were lovely and both the food and service were fantastic. I have to follow a gluten free diet which can be awkward. However Geo and Casey discussed the menu with me and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal , confident that I was looked after.

Well, normally it’s an upbeat “hey, I enjoyed myself but ….” Unfortunately this time it was terrible from the outset ! At a Christmas party night you expect to enjoy yourself, and especially at this time of the year and at this juncture in the grand scheme of things. Starting at 7.00 pm but not being fed until after 8.00 pm was a bit much coupled with the fact the food was limited. The pate starter was tiny and basic, the mains were cool but not cold, plus the vegetables were seriously undercooked. Unimpressed !!! Now we come to the ‘entertainment’ … ( sack the DJ ) I’m sorry son but your choice of tunes was terrible. GB Experience is great at a 18th birthday celebration but not at the beginning of the night, and certainly NOT during a meal !! [ etiquette dictates middle of the road music played at a low level while people are eating ] ….. and last but by no means least “The Drink” … way overpriced !! All in all a miserable party night at the Potting Shed …. Ach well … on to the next party …. But not here . . . Pictures …??? Na !!

Visited the potting shed today for breakfast with a toddler and baby! Staff were really friendly and accommodating. I have a diary allergy which was no hassle and they checked what was dairy free for me. Super tasty food. We will be back x

Met my brother Eddie and his wife Pauline and my Liz at this popular restaurant in Irvine. Great location. We were looked after by Casey and Nicole who were so friendly and attentive during our visit. Both are great ambassadors for the company. Big shout to the kitchen brigade for the very high standard of food. Menu is varied and caters for all tastes. Will be back for sure.

Visited for the first time today for lunch. We were greeted by a lovely young lady and shown to our table. Our server Chloe was very pleasant, efficient and attentive. It is so important to get good customer service so whoever is training the staff gets 10/10 from us. They were all very attentive. We were very pleased with both meals and drinks. The decor is beautiful. A lovely atmosphere. Our first visit but will definitely not be our last. We even got to see the Christmas tree going up and it looks beautiful. Till next time. 🌟

Dined in the Terrace on the 10th November. Service was fantastic could not fault apart from more than half an hour wait for main courses. Starters amazing, main course - cajun chicken was solid couldn't even bite through it. Chicken pie was sent back as it was a pot of grease, chef added cream reheat and sent back out again, still full of grease, was discgusting not edible, chef didnt even make a fresh main course and had the cheek to add cream to try and disguise the grease. This main course was for our autistic son which caused great upset and resulted in him coming home with no meal. £135 spent at the restaurant and we came home very disappointed would not recommend food or the quality of food produced by the chef.

Called late on a Sunday evening (18:30), got a Sunday lunch,which was on the whole very good, meat was hard to cut though with normal knives, suggest stake knives with this dish. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Popped in today for some brunch (not the boozy brunch deal). Food was really lovely, probably best selection I've ever seen on a breakfast/lunch menu! Lots to choose from! Good value too. Place is gorgeous! Very trendy but cosy/comfy too and absolutely spotless! Dog friendly too with a dog menu (I'll remember this for next time!) Hands down best service I have had anywhere for ages. First class. Friendly, efficient, nothing too much trouble, lovely ❤️

We went for Sunday night dinner and overall it was nice. The lava fries weren't great, but overall the food was good. There was a bunch of woman arguing when we got there, that was kind of a big put off, shouting at each other to the extend the 8 year old complained about there language. However that being said Declan was fantastic, his customer service is elite. And a credit to the company, he looked after us, he was attentive, and he gave extra attention to our kid 11/10 service from this guy.

This was our debut visit to any of the Si! venues, and it was completely FANTASTIC from start to finish! We were served brilliantly by DECLAN, who went out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed, without being as intrusive as you would get in many restaurants. Our brunch order was taking a wee while to arrive, and only because there were four of us and the two kids (plus their Dad lol) were getting restless, but a member of the team very kindly came over to tell us we wouldn't be too much longer, which was a relief! The food was really OUTSTANDING, and there were four very clean plates. We had also stumbled on a cracking offer that kids eat free during Halloween weekend, so that was a lovely and very welcome bonus on paying the bill - what a bargain! All staff were extremely smiley and very courteous, and we'll definitely be back. A really fabulous experience all round, and the kids were also given an awesome Halloween bag, which was the cherry on top of an excellent visit! My ridiculously-talented good friend, Jamie Clark, regularly plays this venue at weekends, and I'd urge anyone to pop along and check out his music - just another reason to visit Si! in Irvine. Just visited for dinner on a Monday night - whilst it was extremely quiet the environment and music made it feel quite comfortable and cosy. The girl serving us was lovely and very bubbly! She was very attentive and polite. The food was also 10/10.. I generally hesitate at ordering a salad when eating out but the Cajun chicken salad was not only delish and well dressed, but there was enough there to feel satiated. We also got the pepperoni pizza, which was a nice wood-fired style pizza with loaded tater tots. The portion sizes were perfect and well worth the money. I highly recommend it here! Thank you :)

Went in to Si with family members on a Monday evening. So my burger, which was very good quality beef, arrived on a tea plate. Did not come with fries or any trimmings, fries had to be bought separately and the portion was poor. Overall, nice surroundings and pleasant staff. However, way too expensive, poor presentation and staff, although pleasant, were more interested in getting a good review as competing with other staff members. Not the best meal experience at all !

Came here with a couple of my girls and we had a nice evening meal plus dessert. Service was great and the staff were really friendly. Food was 10/10 and the atmosphere was exactly the vibe we wanted. No complaints here!

I had the vegetarian breakfast. It was quite a plateful! They were happy to swap out items that I didn't like. Everything tasted as it should and the staff were friendly and helpful. Since reopening the prices have gone up and there's been a big change to the menus. I'm not sure I would go at any other time as the new lunch/dinner menus do not have anything I would eat (it's probably a tad too fancy for my tastes). It's a shame because I previously enjoyed going to Si for an evening meal.
