Too much rice long delivery time and still late

Cold place, wrong food were given after a long time of waiting. Took 55 mins to get starter, no apologies. Take away food also wasn't the one we had ordered. Poor service

I eat here every time I come to Glasgow, such is the appeal of expertly cooked Persian food. Try the lamb shank, the kebab, the onion yogurt, and especially the ashe reshteh soup, a difficult-to-find specialty I jump on whenever I see it on a menu.

Went tonight after not having been for a while and the food is just as good as I remember it being. Always hits the spot. Need to remember to go here more often. Service was on point. Mentioned I was fasting and I was presented with dates and water to break fast with and was offered tea too. So accommodating.

Still a good place to eat Iranian home food. It still maintains the delicious quality of food

After my first visit, it was completely the opposite, very disappointing. After taking the order, the waitress has to come back and forth several times to adjust the order as they did not have all the items in the kitchen very unprofessional. We book a table and we we arrive nobody was there to greet us after almost 10 minutes, table was not ready. When seated knives were missing. The waitress did not really care. We will not go back bad experience.

Food is always 10/10, delivery can sometimes take a bit longer but it’s definitely worth the wait!

Overpriced and bad service - wouldn’t recommend

Drove 2 hours to get here. Was running late and asked to change the booking for half an hour later, that was refused and said they can do 15 minutes ( as if we are at some bazaar ). At arrival we found out we’ve got an hour and 15 minutes to order food, eat it all and leave as they’ve got reservations. I’ve never been told over the phone that there’s a time limit. The service was super slow too. Finished up booking a table at another Persian restaurant close by to get a full experience and not rush. The aura in the restaurant is super heavy and unpleasant. Don’t come if you’re sad.

The worst Persian food I have ever tasted, my first and last experience a wise man once said first impressions last, the chops were over cooked and cold all the meat was overcooked and cold, no side servings with chops nan was cold and badly made, restaurant was also cold either I had a bad day or the chef did, I won't be returning here and not good for my guest who travelled from Windsor! Over priced and underdelivered

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and the staff. The guy was friendly and polite, the food was tasty and various and a fair portion. Definitely recommend.

Lovely Persian Restaurant in Tradeston area. Mixed Kebab for 2 and Lamb Chops. Meat was very very succulent, seasoned very well. Bread was lovely, soft and very tasty.

Ordered mixed kebab for one says on menu comes with chicken pieces / shoulder of lamb and pieces of loin chop only came with the chicken and lamb , no loin in dish so happy getting fleeced

Order placed early as expected a long wait time on a Friday but was delivered approx 2hours after submitting order and 30mins later than the latest delivery window provided. Called restaurant to check on order when it went past delivery time and they were polite and apologetic and gave an instant update. When food arrived it was delicious and worth the wait despite being given hummus instead of the baba ghanoush we ordered - initially disappointed but to be fair it was very tasty too.

Food was good but spicy option wasn’t spicy?

Been going to restaurant for over 8 years, recently prices got much higher and quality lower. Got two stews today for £12.9 each and only 5 or 6 small pieces of lamb in the ghorme and the gheyme is really watery. Will not go back anymore

Prices very high! The size also gone smaller . The main barbecue was very tasty however takes long to arrive in table. Hummus very small and doesn’t taste how the hummus should taste. Max 3 stars!

Food is excellent! very authentic Persian restaurant, we have visited many times in the past years however, recently the service has declined dramatically for some reason...before this year the gentleman (the son) provided an excellent and friendly service ..but during our last visits we were very disappointed! the young lady's service is TERRIBLE!! she is constantly on her phone ignoring all hygiene standards, her very long nails go everywhere on your food and drinks! (she licked her fingers after serving us ice-cream!! then grabbing teaspoons from the top with her fingers! Disgusting!!)...what a shame! The chef does a great job preparing amazing food and it's all ruined once it gets to the floor....Also the management keeps eating and sipping tea while on service!! It's sooo pricey, the least they can do is respect hygiene standards.

It's my first time experience in an Iranian restaurant. Really enjoyed the taste. Rather trying conventional grills/kebab, I really recommend for Subzees.

Kebabs are very small and lacking flavour, no nan but far too much rice, no nan or bead with hummus which again is quite a small porrtion, wont be ordering again from here.

Best Persian restaurant in Scotland, definitely recommend it, mirzaghasemi with bread would be awesome if you're vegetarian and there are loads of vegetarian option

I had a delightful dining experience at this Persian restaurant. The food was nothing short of amazing; the kebabs were exceptionally juicy and flavourful. However, I did notice that the server's demeanor could have been warmer and more welcoming. As a visitor from Canada, I may not have the best frame of reference for local service standards, but a friendly touch can enhance any dining experience. Additionally, it would have been appreciated if the cutlery had been cleaner. Overall, a delicious meal with room for some improvements in service and cleanliness.

Food was average, too expensive for the portion sizes, my sister got baba finish and plan bread for £15!!! The hell?

If you are willing to enjoy wonderful Iranian dishes, it is one of the best places to visit.

Excellent food! The fresh bread, mast o museer, paneer, and sabzi made for great starters. I've had the ghormeh sabzi here twice in a week. It's just phenomenal. The chenjeh, spicy chicken, and baghali polou ba mahicheh was also fabulous. Visit this place when you have an appetite and when you want some really good, authentic, Persian food.

We were a group of 13- 9 adults and 4 kids. The food was amazing. Service was very slow, I had to go downstairs to ask them to come and take our drinks order, it took 15mins for them to bring the drinks, it was all cans of juice so very straightforward In fairness, they did bring a couple of free starters and bread to apologise for how long it is taking. Would be 5 star if service was more welcoming

Firstly food was fab. Service was slow (45 mins), we only had mains. But in fairness it was very fresh & hot when it arrived . The restaurant itself just lacked any form of atmosphere. But as I say the food was very good .

I like their food I go three most Saturdays but unfortunately they have no good service very poor quality of service they don’t come around ask if somebody needs something they don’t respect people enough as customers.

We went to this restaurant as we love Persian cuisine. 1st disappointing- we enter restaurent and the women(the owner I guess) walk away from the front desk. It wasn't busy - just 3 tables with guests and she was not serving, then why? Hmm interesting, but that's fine. She took us to the table, gives us a menu and left without a word. Old sofas to seat, menu card should be changed years ago, especially that the new prices where just labeled on the top of old one. Young waitress looks like doing everything there - taking orders, serving, running up and down, inside and out of the kitchen..... Food - very average. Nothing special. Portions also average. The best from the whole order were 2 type of soups which we ordered. At the end when we was waiting to pay ( only us) - the women was speaking through the phone and taking our payment! Seriously???!!!! In the restaurant you doing thing like that on front of the customer???? I felt soooo ignored. And she still dare to ask how it was?? Hahaha - just feel sorry for the young girl - because we tried to tip her but we couldn't as the women was in charge to take payment. We will not back there and do not recommend it.

I tried this Persian restaurant for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty, moderately priced food. The flavors were unique and intriguing - I'd recommend it for anyone looking to expand their palate. Compared to other Persian spots in Glasgow, it's more casual with a takeaway vibe, though seating is available. The atmosphere was lacking at times with the music abruptly stopping, leaving silence. Similarly, the presentation was just average. The location isn't ideal either, though it's currently the only Persian option in the area. However, the stews and skewers were delightful; the celery stew perfectly complemented the saffron rice. Undoubtedly, the highlight was the exquisite saffron ice cream with pistachios and rose - it's truly unparalleled! While not the most refined Persian restaurant, the novelty of the flavors and that sensational ice cream will bring me back. For an introduction to Persian cuisine without the frills, it's a great local find.

Delicious food and came nice and hot and well packaged however I did feel like the portions were a bit small for the price and felt the mixed grill for two could’ve came with a wee salad or some sauce included. Other than that everything was delicious :)

We had hot and spicy chicken with momtaz and dessert which called faloode which all of those were delicious and phenomenal food .🤌🏻

This restaurant used to be good but not anymore. Food prices are high compared to their quality and most of the time they forget an item. I ordered Fasanjan, which only had a few pieces of meat and the rest was mostly sauce. I complained to the manager that the amount of meat was much less than expected for the price (£18). She took the spoon and counted the small pieces of meat and said there were 5 pieces, so it's true! Her behavior was so disgusting that even my other friends were shocked. The customer service is awful. I will never back to this restaurant.

We came to Glasgow for 4 days and one night we ordered from this place for delivery. The delivery arrived on time and driver was so polite. The kebab was fresh, juicy and tasty with generous portions . Overall satisfied with the taste and quality. We will definitely order from this place again in our next trip to Glasgow. Thanks Sholeh

Koobideh was dry and didn't taste really authentic unfortunately.

Food was lovely. Nan bread is massive. But meat portion was small. I found it expensive compared to other local restaurants. £40 for a mixed grill that we usually pay £25 for in most restaurants.

Never had Persian food before so thought we would try it. Their normal menu is really expensive so went for the lunch menu, although still not cheap. @£13.95 a head. Unfortunately they decided lunch menu wasn't on today as it was the coronation bank holiday. Left and won't be back, will try Persian food elsewhere.

Keep away from this place! The manager woman is a bully and they did not deliver all items that I order!! I ordered 2 nights in a row; the first night food came an hour late but missing an item. They refunded the delivery charge but not the missing item! When I reached London, I rang to say the items missing she asked me to F off! Food is reasonable but not special but the service is appalling and the woman with heavy makeup is a bully!!

Although the food was okay, it was delivered very late. One item was replaced with my consent but they charged for the original item which was wrong

Been told by my Persian mate that this was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. My dream would be the Ghorme Sabzi “sauce” with chicken, even if it’s not authentic. The flavours were *chef’s kiss* but I don’t eat lamb. My Zereshk Polo Ba Morgh was banging!

Great authentic Persian food. A top choice for lunch or dinner that I find myself regularly craving. A top quality establishment in the Tradeston area. If you're looking for quality, authentic food, with good service, this is definitely a contender. My one note would be that the prices are slightly higher than other establishments in the area, but well worth the extra you're paying.

The food was a little late but I would’ve waited for hours - it was amazing! Will definitely eat here again :-)

I have been a quite few times after my initial visit and the service has vastly improved. Friendly and attentive staff. I do not say this lightly and I do not say this often but the food is absolutely exceptional! Authentic Persian cuisine to perfection. Fresh and always up to standard. Could not recommend it enough. I bring all my friends and family to the place whenever they visit. Keep it up!

My Iranian friend insisted we go here! Very nice Restraunt, very nice ladies who work here! Food was lovely & an acquired taste for my Scottish Taste buds! Will definitely be back! Then tried to tell me he's Scottish like I know bro! But your clearly not wanting a white lad coming in ... If Meze Meze was open we would have left due to this guy! Delicious food, great portion sizes and friendly, attentive staff. Only issue is parking (as it’s pretty limited) but other than that all good.

Disgrace.. Wrong food.. Chips are vile. Why put them in a metal container?! Spent £35 quid here and only 16quif of the food was edible.. Called the restaurant done nothing for me.. Tried to contact just eat! Hey guess what they don't deal with this restaurants complaints.. So deal with the restaurant 🙄 gee wonder why they do that!? To rip people off CLEARLY!

Disgusting staff so rude shouting at customers for no reason avoid this restaurant at all costs. They served burnt food and prices are sky high don’t recommend going here unless you want to be treated badly by staff here and bad food.
