What a little gem 💎 of a place, recommended to us by a few locals in the Greyhound Pub (fab pub) so we went for Breakfast this morning, service was great, dog friendly big plus and the quality of the sausages, bacon and eggs was fantastic and at a decent price. We are on Holiday for the week and I'm sure we be back 👍🏻😋😁

Friendly service and good food. We did arrive late for lunch, so any midday dinners had left, however the place is attractive and clean with a decent range of choice on the menu and specials board.

I have had a special and a Cappuccino here for years! Its easily the best full English breakfast in swaffham!!!

Had the best breakfast, thanks so much, took my littke dog in no probs Poached eggs were just right, bacon was yummy and the bread was amazing gutted they sold out of homemade scones as looked delicious but we were too late to order when we left. Took some desserts instead. Thanks so much 🙏

Lovely food and brilliant service .

Excellent takeaway food, and great customer service as the young lady who served us even came out to the car to provide additional items without charge. Very pleased

Had lunch here. Very welcoming. My dog was even given a blanket to lie on. I had a burger and chips. Food was good and the surroundings were pleasant. No other customers which was a shame.

We were treated to an afternoon tea. Delicious food and cakes, lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Shelly’s Bistro is a great place for anything from a snack to major meal. Staff are very helpful and service is great. A wide selection of delicious foods and cakes. Nice prices and super dog friendly!

Stumbled across this bistro when out with the dogs. Not been to Swaffham before - was a quick pit stop on our way home. Dog friendly, great decor, cute outdoor terrace in the shade. Lovely menu and great selection of drinks. Really warm welcome and really friendly. Would definitely go again if in Swaffham.

Visited Swaffham for the first time and visited Shelly's. Food was really quick and was delicious, very friendly staff and the decor is very niche. Really unique. Highly recommended.

Superb little place, very good prices, lovely and helpful Staff. They had had a rush, and run out of a few things but went out and bought what was needed. I shall visit again.

Really cosy, friendly place. Comfy atmosphere with a touch of grly bling, without being over the top. We had cooked breakfast....well cooked and presented nicely...those sausages!! Massive! Make sure you're hungry.

We had late lunch at this lovely bistro today, the food was lovely, the waitress was welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's such a different quirky little place, can't recommend it highly enough.

A very nice place for an evening meal with the family, dogs are welcomed inside. The food was delicious and didn't take too long to arrive. Staff were extremely nice and you felt very welcome.the decor was very sparkly and very picturesque. The rooms were small and homely and all the serving sizes were accurate. Would really recommend to visit!

Fantastic place. Unusually big and well-crafted wide menu (won 6+ awards and keep on counting). Bistro prices with restaurant-grade food. They do: - eat in/takeaway/delivery - Live music events (generally Friday, Saturday, Sundays) e.g. Blues, Retro, Peaky Blinders etc - Theme nights: e.g. Curry night, Thai night, Mexican night, Steak night etc - Eating areas: inside (casual), upstairs (quieter & posher) and outdoors/courtyard (for the ultimate summer experience). You can also sit around the front of the building for those enjoying the general hustle and bustle of Swaffham 😉 - Take reservations for various events e.g. birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc

Went for a walk around Swaffham and came across Shelly's Bistro, dog friendly and lovely decor, well priced and awesome cakes, we had chilli and rice, and tuna red onion well presented and nice to see proper tea leafs used. With a visit.

Stumbled on this place when looking for lunch on a long car journey. Plenty of choice. Friendly and efficient staff. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The restaurant was clean and Covid measures carefully observed without being obtrusive. It’s a shame it’s 2 and...

Just has a fantastic breakfast, lovely and fresh and best of all it was Hot . Service was great and we was well looked after with all social distancing etc in place . We will be back

During these covid times, Shelly stepped up And adapted to the need of the town and did a fantastic fish selection box for us and it was awesome!! Even before the lockdown the breakfast and food is 10/10 Highly recommend

Shelly’s is amazing for food and service. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They even offer a delivery service which is great. I can highly recommend the afternoon teas and burgers.

We came here for late afternoon snack. Very friendly hostess and good light bites, cakes and tea/coffee.

Shellys afternoon tea is the absolute best! The chicken and avocado sandwiches are so tasty, great selection of sandwiches sausage roll, quiche and the cakes! There was so many and so lovely, highly recommend, great friendly service

Awful afternoon tea. Bad service. Never go again.

Called in for lunch with a friend, first time visit. Greeting by staff member was an effort. Told upstairs only as large table booked downstairs. Small round tables, tub chairs and high back chairs made it feel cramped. Staff had to remove large candelabra (?) from table to make room. Had to sit sideways at table so moved. Then moved large glass jar (?) from table and large cushions from chairs to sit comfortably. No gluten free options at all so stuck with usual jacket potato. Food OK. Solo man at table for 4 offered to move but he was eating so we declined. Could only have sat 3 there as space taken by large floor lamp. Upstairs OK for 1 or 2 for drink, not food. Tacky surroundings. Sorry, won't be back.

Fantastic meal, well catered for and plenty of choice and quantity..... Friendly staff and helpful. Vegetarian option Highly recommended.... Seating arrangement adequate.

My granddaughter and myself ordered ham, eggs and chips. Tea and a cold drink. Very nice setting, upstairs and the food was good value for money. I said I would return and I did a couple of weeks later for a cream tea with daughter in law.

A fantastic place and Good value, with a great selection of meals to choose from, including a good selection of V options and desserts with excellent staff on hand, it has a relaxed informal atmosphere, and is licensed if you fancy a tipple with your meal, there's also a large selection of tea's available all made by the barista on the commercial coffee machine, and i believe its also available as a venue for private function, with a nice little garden hidden at the back for the Summer months - Highly Recommended

Lovely ambience, welcoming staff and gorgeous food choices at reasonable prices. I hope they soon add some gluten-free elements to their menu (hence the 4 stars only) and especially their desserts - they were positively mouthwatering ( but I couldn't eat any). My hubby said his was totally scrumptious. Fabulous decor in a pretty building and our large dog (walking rug) was allowed in as well. This truly is a place worth popping into - you will not regret it.

We went to steak night last night, it was the most amazing steak !, we both said it was the best steak we have ever had whilst eating out. We will nearly always choose steak wherever we go and have been to some of the best rated and expensive places you could imagine but this was better than them all !

Today went our first time to Sheelys for lunch. Small fish chips & peas which did include salad. A good plate full...One word EXCELLENT. Deserves more than 5 Stars. G&A Lincoln.

Afternoon tea .awful. chicken and avocado sandwiches 🤮. Salmon with brown edges. Little squares of shop bought cake tasting stale. Bought angel cake. .scones nice.salad ok sausage rolls and mini quiche ok. Overall poor.

We stumbled on the bistro when looking for somewhere dog friendly to eat on a saturday evening. It was extremely quiet but looked a lot nicer than many of the alternatives so we tried it out. We were glad we did as the food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. I have no idea why it wasn't much busier. Would visit again.

Popped in on the off chance and what a lovely little place, really friendly staff and great coffee and drinks. Dog friendly inside and out, with a lovely little walled garden. Didn’t get to try the food as only in the area for a few days, but will definitely return next time we visit Swaffham

Parked the car at 1730Hrs Sunday 15th September, 2019 and spotted Shelly's Bistro which was open - full menu available with food cooked to order. Food, drinks and service all excellent. An absolutely clean and pleasant bistro.
