Something has gone fundamentally wrong with this once superb in every way restaurant. Ate here on Saturday evening, & for the second time in two visits, waited over an hour for our food, & had to draw the staff's attention to this. The food was not all brought out at the same time, no excuse for this as there were only three of us. Staff full of apologies when we left - we have been reasonably regular customers for a good few years now - but standard of service is so disappointing given what it used to be. Ate here a few years ago on a Saturday night, we were a table of ten or twelve people, the restaurant was full, & the service was outstanding. I did say as we were leaving that our disappointment was exacerbated by the service having been so very good for so very long. Given the recent very good reviews on here, perhaps we've just been unlucky on our most recent visits, but we would certainly think twice before returning any time soon, which is a real shame, as we have been huge fans for a long time.

Trafiliśmy tu na niedzielny bufet obiadowy. Wystarczy w Inverurie przejść przez most na rzece Don, gdzie na brzegu znajduje się teren wypoczynkowy, sportowy i spacerowy. Właściciel i kelner z wyspy Goa serwują naprawdę oryginalne smaki Indii. Czyste, eleganckie miejsce godne polecenia.

Derbar Indian Restaurant

02/06/2019: Had an excellent meal at This restaurant tonight! Great service and a delicious meal! Wine was good too! Would highly recommend!
11/04/2019: We ate here on two consecutive nights & wish we had gone back for a third evening instead of going elsewhere. There is a huge choice on the menu & we found the portion sizes just right. Lots of choice to suit all tastes from creamy to spicy. The proprietors are very attentive & friendly. They do a buffet evening on Tuesday & Sunday - I think it was £15 each. Well worth a visit if you like Indian style food. I had the best onion bhaji’s I have ever tasted. Our new favourite restaurant in Banchory.
