Food was pretty bland but decent enough and a bit on the cold side, but it was early and good enough for the price.

This was, without any doubt the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Cardboard has more flavour than the prawn starter. Main was supposed to be spicy instead was tasteless

We ordered a lamb dish which turned out to be mutton. When we called the restaurant they blamed the chef when it's the produce ordering and lying to the customer. I would not choose to speak with the owner again as he thought we were after free food rather what we ordered. He screamed and shouted down the phone. We simply asked why they would do such a thing. They rely on deliveries for a reason hence the restaurant is empty. People won't travel to challenge them

By far the best Indian in South Liverpool, maybe even the whole of Liverpool. Perfect service, perfect food and perfect in every other respect. We cannot recommend Shah's Balti House highly enough.

We ordered at 8 and didn’t get the food until 9:45 and was lukewarm. Had ordered veggie curries and the quality wasn’t great, looked like they had tipped boil in the bag mixed veg into a sauce, rather than fresh peppers mushrooms etc.

Food usually amazing from here. I ordered my usual and a special chicken bhuna type, the chicken was very chewy. I don't usually complain but wasn't happy with this special

The food was incredibly disappointing. i've never had a curry without any spices in. It didn't even taste like Indian food. It was edible but unbelievably bland. The prawns were weird and grisly. Will never order from here again.

Delivered at 7.10pm. Estimated delivery 8pm. Called twice due to delay eventually turned up at 9.10pm. Food was cold poppadoms soggy due to where they had been stored.

I ordered at 7pm and was told it would be delivered between 8:05-8:25. At 8:30 I rang the restaurant to see where the food was ( as the app said it had been delivered) and they told me it was going to be 5 minutes. At 8:57 my food arrived- the naan bread and onion bargees were stone cold. The masala was really nice but only 5 pieces of chicken throughout the whole masala :(. Really good reviews so disappointing but it’s a Saturday night so will give benefit of the doubt!

Best Indian takeaway I’ve had in Liverpool. Quality is always consistently excellent, although last night the naan was cold on arrival and was a bit overcooked, but the meal as a whole was still incredibly satisfying.

Food was delayed by 20 mins through the app, then arrived a further 20 mins later than the second time given. Food seemed to be lacking flavour and was a bit bland. A shame as we’ve eaten from Shah’s before and were happy with the food, so don’t no if it was just an off night.

Shah's is always early and incredibly tasty. I can't fault their food at all. I always go for the madras, and I love it every time. Their delivery driver is always polite and happy to say hello. I couldnt recommend them enough. If you like a hot madras for a very decent, if not very much under priced value, Shah's is the place to go for sure :)

we was recommended this indian and it didnt disappoint. Lovely food for amazing prices. Lamb bhuna melted in your mouth. Chilli massala was lovely. Will be ordering again and highly recommend.

It was good but I just feel I've had better.

1st time eating from here, Onion bahji would be perfect with a little salt, not greasy at all though which is a first and ate the lot with daughter. The veg samosas,,,, I will order 20 next time must've been oven cooked? They were belter. Vindaloo chicken tikka had no grease, chicken and potato were perfect and it blew our faces off but didn't overwhelm the overall flavour, Pesh naan mopped rest up, job done cheers guys! Definitely order again, which was early and fella was sound.

The food was absolutely gorgeous and hot too! In top of that the price of the food on the menu was quite cheap compared to other Indians I’ve been to in the past! Arrive earlier than expected which was also a bonus. Ordered the chicken bhuna and lamb madras and both were so nice.

Ordered after looking at lovely review. Sadly for me these did not meet the reviews, the food was cold and nann and chips felt like they had been there for ages and was rock hard.. also the wrong item got delivered and ended up not really eating anything. Everything tasted like been sitting there for ages and like it was all rushed. Sorry but I wouldn’t go there again!

Most of the meal was good apart from the main event. I don't think anyone in Liverpool knows how to cook a good Dansak. Bland without any of the sweetness and slightly sour taste you should get in a Dansak. Poor but no worse thqn the other places I've tried.

Normally love Shah's, missed the mark this time unfortunately. Meal was over 20 minutes late and the naan bread very burnt, black across one side, rest of the was nice however.

We have ordered from here a few times but this time was a bit disappointing. It didn't taste as good as the last few times. Not sure we'll order again.

Worst Indian ever !!!!!. The food was bland, old and tasteless. The Naan bread was soggy and cold. The Chicken Tikka Massala was flaoting in bright red tomato sauce and this is not what a Tikka Masala should be. The Chicken Biryani was old and flavourless and the chicken was spongey and not grilled properly. The pilau rice was old and dry and cold and could taste it was reheated. Phoned the restaurant and they did not apologise and were extremely rude when we told them to pleasee collect the delivery as it was inedible. I wold like a full refund. Not impressed and will NEVER order from them again.

Amazing place, lovely and considerate staff. My partner has an allergy and they helped us to make the right choices and even called us back to advise us on something we'd ordered. This is so refreshing as usually the places we go to have no idea and we're left to worry. Delicious food, filling and really reasonably priced! Arrived really fast as we're down the road with a nice delivery driver 🙂 Got a huge side salad with my order and loads of chutneys. The tarka daal and the curry were amazing too 😍 Thank you, will definitely be coming here again!

Food was lovely, great portion sizes and meat was cooked well. Had jalfrezi and vindaloo and both were nice and spicy with great flavours. Naan and samosas were nice. Good prices and 5* hygiene which is important. Arrived on time, packed well and still hot. Delivery driver was great for contactless delivery Would definitely order from here again!
