Worse place I’ve been to me and my close family went . Had no food come through was sold it was cancelled but then our money was still taken and no refund has been given back when ringing this business and explaining a problem they sat in silence and ignored us prior five minutes before. When finally picking up and explained I was ended on with no response . If you want a nice bit of food go anywhere else but here If you want to keep your money

Do not order from here! They took my money without delivering my order and then I rang to get a refund and after I explained my issue and they ended the phone on me!

I live in Sheffield but I have family in Halifax and visit frequently, when ever I’m here this is always my last port of call after a night out, the super mix donner is superb, lovely naan bread and full of meat, a generous size, great value for money. Brave the hot chilli sauce if you dare, got a hell of a kick to it, just how I like it, the curries are lovely too and just like the kebabs, all the food is prepared fresh while you wait. Friendly staff, well worth a visit, can’t wait to go back. The only fault I can find, is that this restaurant isn’t located in Sheffield 10/10

First ever visit. Went in and ordered a MEAT FEAST and ended up with a margarita pizza!! Phoned up and got called a liar and i had not ordered a MEAT FEAST!! AVOID THIS PLACE!! Will never use again

Really tasty Indian food, excellent breads and great takeaway service. Best in Halifax. The Achari is particularly good, but every dish we’ve tried has been lovely

Lovely pizzas. Donner meat and chips are very nice too. Would recommend chilli sauce. Yummy. There delivery time is good and also quick when taking away.

I will NEVER buy pizza from this place again Not after sitting in the Plummet line and watching an obese child making the pizza boxes up, but afierce every other box he made up, he picked his nose ! So every other box had snot inside !

Food arrived on time after they added 30 minutes to my expected delivery time, when we revieved the food both kebabs were very cold and they had not given the chili sauce I specifically added to my order. Rang up to get the chili sauve since I paid for it and apparently it was 20p more even though I'd already paid, said they'd call us back, never did.

Food was late cold and only 2 out 3 pizzas were delivered had to call multiple times to chase up the delivery and then to get the missing part of the order.

I can't believe I placed an order on here and not only was it late but we actually never received it I placed the order at around 1 oclcock and kept checking on here and the delivery time moved to half 2 I waited till 2.40 and rang usmania but there was no answer and I'm yet to speak to anyone from the take away so thanks usmania I went to sleep hungry and woke up annoyed

food came and got the wrong pizza, then when we got the right pizza it was cold and had to soak the grease up with kitchen roll! the keema didn't even taste like keema either, wouldn't go back again really disappointed after waiting 2 hours for a cheese pizza and keema chips and cheese!

I have never tried food from here befor and had it recomended i was pleasantly supprised although it is more expensive than my usual place i liked the fact that you can get three in one ( fried rice chips and curry sauce)great idea but dissapointed that you have to pay for prawn crackers always had them free befor so i will stick to my usual resteraunt but it deserves a good review as food is hot and tasty (anita)

korma tasted weird and to spicy. pizza was okay but didn't need huge chunks of onion it overloaded it. sorry really disappointed literally ate half a slice of pizza and like two chips. waist of money.

Absolutely disgusting, they obviously run their business off the back of all the hungry drunks from the nearby clubs. Never going back here again

I was very disappointed with the food that I got from seraj. They give me burnt chip that were hard and dry and when I rang up they said it wat the fault of the chips manufacturers but how can that possibly be because the manufacturer didn't make the chip Burnt hard and dry. I I'm very disappointed 😔

Great food and consistently good service with large portions.very basic interior and more cafe than restaurant. I can never eat all the main course as they are so generous with the sizes. Very good value for money.

I went into this establishment last week when I was out up town and feeling peckish. I decided I'd like an onion bhaji or something similar to line my stomach before indulging in a few ales. I entered the place and before deciding what I wanted to nibble on, I asked if there was a toilet I could use to take a leak. I was pointed in the right direction and went inside the toilet. I went into the first (of two) lock-ups only to discover that the toilet was covered in stale, dried urine and excrement. I left quickly and entered the other toilet. This was even worse than the previous one. Judging by what I saw, I'd guess it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It was unbelievably disgusting. Even the toilet roll was damp and looked like there was an abundance of lifeforms having a party on the fabric. There are some things in life that you can't un-see; this was one of them. After feeling sick to my stomach, I didn't take a leak. I zipped-up and swiftly left the building, obviously ordering nothing to eat. To think that the staff actually use these toilets while cooking food on the premises doesn't bear thinking about. I just thank my lucky stars I went to the toilet before deciding (not) to buy any food. I certainly won't be returning to this place in this lifetime.

Didn't deliver on time by time it got delivered we was fast asleep. Won't order from these again. I've gave a 1 star for food quality however I didn't ever get the food.

Bought a pizza, Seraj special. This was honestly the worst pizza I've ever bought, the mince on the Pizza was off and the pizza smelt disgusting. Avoid if you value your health

Asked for 2 piece chicken with donner got no chicken just donner and chips. The pizza was dry not nice and ordered a rubicon drink which were missing will definitely not be ordering again this place again they have gone downhill from the seraj I remember waste of money

2hr wait from order to delivery. Rang restaurant after they delayed the order 30min & it still hadn't arrived but status showed as delivered. Once the order eventually arrived the food was tasty but as if the lateness wasn't poor enough service, the restaurant had short changed my order & missed some off. Not worth waiting another two hours for them to rectify. I won't be using them on just eat again.

Never got the chips I ordered plus everything that did come wasn't even fit for the bin, absolutely appalling food, I am so disgusted with just eat for allowing such poor quality, will never be using this service again. Paid on card and basically just eat have stolen my hard earned money, I feel absolutely violated. Disgusting!

Way too much spice. And pizza was falling apart on touch, ordered stuff crust and got no cheese. In the crust which I paid extra for. 15 mins late, mint sauce burnt our mouths off.

Delivery address little late then expect of also did request some chillies in my pizza but otherwise everything else was fantastic.

Burger was very dry, asked for a very mild balti but turned out to be the strength of a madras....the chicken pakora was inedible due to being reheated, the rogan josh was the only saving grace....lovely!

ordered here for many years and had great food. Their currys are great, the pizzas are phenomenal and the service we get when we are in there is very good and funny. Great food after a night out!

The food had a delivery time of 8.05 which was changed to 8.35. It turned up at 9.06. I'd spoken with restaurant they weren't very helpful. They just said they had been busy. The food was cold & the kebab was very dry & of very poor quality. I am far from happy with the service or the quality of the food.

3 cheese burgers and one potion of donner meat but they only sent one small potion of salad and mint sauce other take aways dont charge for salad and sauce with meals and they send plenty for all the food because its included in the meal 🤔🤔🤔 but food was all delivered at once today. Thank god

It took two hours to be delivered, and was an hour After the delivery time they gave us. We called 3 times to see what was happening to be told it was on its way, now I know I've ordered an Indian, but didn't expect it to be made in India and ferried over on the worlds smallest boat!

Delivery took over 2 hours when it was ment to be 1hr 30min wait. When i called them they just said its on the way and that they only had one delivery driver. Food quality was poor. Soggy, greasy, or over cooked and dry. Ordered a keema madras and it had coconut in it???

The food didnt arrive. an hour after the estimated time i rang to find out the delivery had gone to the wrong house. However once the mix up.wad.sorted out we had the food at the door 20 minutes later. Freshly prepared and spot on. Will defiantly use them again.

Ordered at 8.42 pm told would be delivered at 9.30 pm by app and arrived just after 10pm, far too long for delivery. Kebab ridiculously overloaded with meat with no salad or sauce. Korma and pilau rice was lovely.

Delivery time a lot better than Fri/Sat night, waited nearly 2 hours, and on Sat night got charged for delivery as it was not seraj driver who delivered? Not happy at all, if it wasn't for good food always would not use again, if busy just saw so customer knows there gonna be a long wait!

Living really close the place I have had the opportunity to get take away from this place often. Well being a vegetarian my options are limited but well i cant complain after eating their Veg Biriyani. If you really like Indian (sub continent) style remember to mention "Desi style - Spicy" and be ready to have steamy hot spicy biriyani. THe best i have had in Halifax. They are very very convenient on the pocket as well. They do take away and Delivery. They are open late into the night to cater for the Salvation / Plummet line and the Liquid customers after they have gone on a liquid diet all night :-). Have heard their Pizza is not the best but could have been a one-off bad experience. In all i would recommend this place.

You took over an hour and half to deliver the meal,it was mildy warm,had to re-heat it.there was no phone to inform me it would be un-acceptably late,and delivery driver offered no explanation or apology.a total disgrace.will not be ordering again.

All was great. The main dish was cooked perfectly so was the rotis and thee pizza was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked and all was spicy enough.
