The seats are not very wide, and the Vietnamese soup rice noodles and vegetarian spring rolls are good. If you like Hong Kong-style salad noodles, I don’t recommend it.

Really excellent good. We had the shared appetizer plate, the sea bass, the pork belly in carmelized fish sauce and coconut juice ( the most amazing dish) and bbq pork on vermicelli. Every thing I would recommend.

Family Vietnamese restaurant with some northern Vietnamese specials that you won’t be able to find at other restaurants. Food is quick but the place is often busy especially at dinner time so if you’re coming with a group I recommend you book a table

Best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to! The pho is on another level, so rich and yet so clear, I love all the toppings - the mint, the bean sprouts, the chilli. Must get their rare/mixed beef pho, it’s quite a big portion. First time trying fried ice cream, it has peanuts at the top but you can ask to remove peanuts if you have allergies. The ice cream tasted like vanilla flavoured and goes very well with the skin, I loved it. The downside is the time limit, you only get one hour to eat your food. Service is different to what you’re used to, very authentic Asian, simple and direct.

Food was okay. Don’t know what’s the problems with staff. It almost felt like they hate customers but you work in hospitality….

Nice food but miserable service, we turned up 8.45 , was told that the close at 10pm and last order was soon. We were shown to our table, the waitress repeated we needed to order quick.we ordered straight away, we left by 10pm. The waitress and waiter who served us didn't smile once.and just kept hurrying us to leave. Don't think we'll be rushing back. Plenty of more friendly places to eat.

Tasty pho and good portion, banh mi is also a nice surprise!

Sat a group of five as a walk in, great food and atmosphere. Great portions and the 2a and 15c were amazing. The Vietnamese iced coffee was some of the best I've had.

Foods are delicious but a bit of hygiene concern. I hope staffs cover their mouth when they are coughing at front of costumers or foods. Don’t ignore the hands when eye contacts made.

I had the seafood Pho and a viet coffee, very good prices and authentic.

Delicious pho noddle soup, vegan

I am a Vietnamese who far from home for a long time, I accidentally saw the restaurant on Google map when I came to King'cross station. The foods were good, they made me feel less homesick. Will come back when I have opportunity.

Came here for dinner with a friend. I was obsessed with the salt and pepper tofu. We also shared a beef dish and some pak choi. All were delicious

Consistently great pho and some of the best I’ve had. Summer rolls are also delightful.

First 2 experiences were fine. 3rd time brought my mom and brother and we all fell very ill with food poisoning. Never again.

The portion too small for the price, should have used lime instead of lemon and the lemon is rotten!

Delicious Vietnamese restaurant, really well priced for its location! The portions were great - had a really full dinner! Had the BBQ pork with crispy spring roll vermicelli - the pork was very well seasoned and the vermicelli added a very nice light touch to it! The mango spring roll was also a surprisingly delicious dessert!

The catfish and fish cake was lovely.

One of the better meat free meals I’ve had in London - the ‘pork’ and the ‘fishcakes’ in particular tasted like the real thing. The iced coffee was also phenomenal.

Was visiting London for a show and wanted to find a nearby pho place. Atmosphere and greeting was rather cold, but the food was delicious! Would come back and would like a friendlier greeting next time - but not too fussed about this personally.

Unassuming but brilliant Vietnamese restaurant. Ordered the beef pho, quite possibly the best pho I have yet - completely changed my perception of the dish, as this one had a very flavoursome broth. Good portion size too. Restaurant was busy around lunchtime, got quieter by around 2pm. Prices are on the slightly cheaper side for London pho so even better. Efficient service, food came quite quickly.

Food was excellent and cheap just like I love. I had vegan rice nudel stir-fry . But the space didn't feel too clean.

Vietnamese food is normally full of fresh herbs and flavours - this was disappointing. I had a stir fried chicken dish with chilli and rice - it was reasonably tasty but had no fresh vegetables or fresh herbs (eg mint or basil or...) apart from a few slices of red pepper, and could have been from any typical "Chinese" restaurant rather than a specialist Vietnamese restaurant. The starter summer rolls were more enjoyable

맛있었어요 !! 전날 먹은 피쉬앤칩스가 느끼해서 속이 불편했는데 여기가서 싹 해소했어요 리뷰대로 스프링롤 너무 맛있었고 쌀국수도 맛있었어요 근데 고수가 아니라 민트를 줘서 살짝 당황했네요 고수를 주면 완벽 할 것 같아요 그리고 먹는 도중에 자리를 옮겨 달라고 해서 살짝 당황했네요.. 이해는 하는데.. 살짝 아쉬워요 맛있어요

Not what it used to be, sadly. It's average now, maybe coasting on its reputation. The Bahmi were very average. Crispy spring rolls still good. It used to be as good as what you get in Vietnam.

We went as a group of four, with two vegetarians there were loads of options ! The veggie pho took awhile to come out which is a good sign that the broth was made to order. The spring rolls were amazing !

Very very good and fresh food 🤤 The service was very friendly and we didn't waited long for our food. It was hot and delicious. The homemade Lemonade is yummy too.

I'm gluten-free so my options were extremely limited and unfortunately tasted really bland. Sadly no desire to return unless maybe for a Vietnamese coffee.

Went there for dinner. Very relaxed atmosphere. If you want eat after 6.00 I’d strongly advise to book as it gets very busy. Food is really nice and generous portion. Nice dinner that won’t break the bank ( wine included).

Very nice atmosphere and it felt quite promising at first - spring rolls were tasty. The pho was strangely served with lemon and not lime. There was also no mint. The pho was immediately disappointing from the first mouthful - the broth bland and watery. Not sure I’ll be back.

Depends what you’re after but for me this was first class. Friendly and polite staff, amazing food and not too much bother when you’re eating. Very quiet atmosphere with mainly Vietnamese customers. Loved every minute.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews. I don’t like to damage other people’s businesses. Im vietnamese myself and I want to support my people. However, I experienced such bad service here. The waiter was rude and the food was very mediocre. The pork in my food was raw. I hope I don’t get food poisoning from the food here. Get it right guys! Hire the right people and cook your properly. It really isn’t that hard. Goodness.

Lovely place, was recommended to me by a friend and I can see why! Great food with great service. Got the Chicken Bun Hue, it was so delicious I even drank all the soup. The Bahn Mi was also very tasty, the was bread was nice and fresh, I would it by itself.

OMGOSH, it took me 4 days in London to find something truly fantastic. This place is legit y’all. The fish soup took me right back home. Everything here has the aroma of authenticity, even the veggie/vegan dishes are fortified to perfection. Tuyệt vời!!! 👌🥹

I always like coming here as it’s affordable and yummy. However, our recent visit was a bit disappointing - our food took incredibly long, the server forgot a number of items in our order, and the electricity kept cutting out. I hope this situation improves, because I really did enjoy this restaurant.

Had the garlicky beef pho and it was deliciously fragrant. It was good value too, under £20 for a big bowl of pho and a soft drink which is good for central London.

Really great Vietnamese restaurant, food was excellent, fresh, delicious fish cake soup and amazing fried spring rolls. Perfect atmosphere, very busy but very chilled. No fuss or frills, just good food and reasonably priced.

I eat quite regularly at Sen Viet Vegan, so when I found myself with time ahead of a train, I figured I would give this version ago. Although not quite as much choice on the menu for vegans and vegetarians, there was still plenty to choose from. However, the restaurant itself is a bit dingy and dark. When I arrived at 5, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke (indeed, some other customers challenged the waiter about this). There was also a very uncomfortable atmosphere, with someone angrily yelling in the kitchen. I very much enjoyed the food, but I think I'll stick to my usual venue from now on.

Had the bun ca nuong - fried spring roll was soo good! Generous portion of well marinated lemongrass chicken, slightly diff from usual bun ca nuong. Friend has bun ca pork which wasn’t bad too. Fried ice cream was interesting, a tad too sweet with the condensed milk drizzle

Sien Viet on Kings rd looks very unassuming on the outside but it had good reviews and I was staying at a hotel nearby. Went to see if i could get a table on the off chance, but no joy as its very busy (so book in advance). So they suggested takeaway instead, so went for Prawn & Pork summer rolls and beef with rice Noodles and Lemongrass & Chilli and ate them in my hotel. Both where really tasty, bursting with vibrant flavour and there was a decent amount of beef. I would highly recommend.

Restaurant could have been cleaner (leftover crumbs on the chair). Main criticism was food was so so salty (had tofu claypot). Spring rolls were very oily. Wouldn’t return.

非常糟糕的体验，当天我们要赶火车，5点06分走进店里，是第一波点菜的客人，到结账的时候突然老板说卡机坏了不能刷卡，要现金！我们告知我们赶时间，能否转账，老板说不可以！旁边就有自动取款机，要我们去取现金，我们没办法，只能出门找取款机，结果不能用！现金业务暂停使用！我们再次返回店里，再次告知我们真的非常赶时间，老板不情不愿叫另外一个员工说给我们刷卡，结果卡机根本没有坏，正常付款了，结束了之后我们赶去火车站一路跑，差了1分钟车开走了，结果浪费了我们来回火车票加向日葵公园门票，加起来50镑，如果不是老板有意为难，根本不用损失这么多钱！ 体验非常非常非常糟糕！！👎

Very good Vietnamese restaurant near Kings Cross. Went their with the kids. We had a bit of waiting outside so if you can try to book a table if possible, but really good place to eat in the area.

Been going here on and off for about 6 years, but over that time the quality has fallen. Last bun bo hue I had tasted nothing like it should've (no lemongrass, and the broth tasted like it had seafood cooked in it). The venue used to be quite charming, but now really needs a bit of tlc. I accepted the brusque service when the food was great, but it's not worth it now.

Had the rare beef pho, the broth was very good. The peppers were nice and spicy which I love. My kids loved the pho and the fried prawns. Definitely would recommend!

Very nice authentic Vietnamese food, chargrilled pork and beef, fried spring roll are the best in London ever had. Only thing is very hot in the restaurant, no ventilation and environment is very noisy.

I have been to Sen Viet many times, and it never disappoints me. You often have to make a reservation to be seated at night, but you can get a meal at lunchtime relatively quickly. They have a growing vegetarian menu and are flexible enough to accommodate those with food allergies. I highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant.

The place was heaving with vietnamese so the food was going to be good. The delivery of the food to our table for 6 was done in an impressive time as we were slightly worried about catching our train. The others liked their food, but I thought my beef stew was just too bland. Nice portions though.

I would have given it a 5* but I had to deduct one because of the mouse I saw scuttle across the entrance. The food was great and service quick. A clearly popular little joint as there was a high turnover of tables.

Came with a table of six, and the person on the door started to bark about what number of cards they will take payment from and all that kind of BS. Had my usual viet option, which was not bad. Wouldn’t not come back, but at the same time won’t rush back.

If you're looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant to go to in Central London - this one is my favorite! Food is so good, but with service, expect it to be quite efficient. Everyone in your group has to be there before being seated as this is quite a popular place. They have a selection of Vietnamese noodles which are really good. The last time I went, I went for their starter platter to share and it was really really good! I loved all the sensational flavors and especially loved the summer spring rolls! I also had the fried ice cream for dessert for nostalgia sake (it was not as good as I had hoped it to be - the skin was a bit too thick, and the ice cream was not a very good quality ice cream). Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food thoroughly! I highly recommend and would come back again myself!

Waited over 10 minutes and nobody took our order. I was with a little child who was vey hungry and thirsty. After seating us right next to the toilet, the staff completely ignored us. None of them even answered us or looked our way to take our order. Felt a bit like discrimination to us. We left queitly without ordering or eating anything, and still the staff didn't even say a thing or notice. Not coming here again amd would not recommend.

Excellent food and such a great choice. The staff are very helpful especially the woman. They are extremely busy and so there can be a little wait - but it is worth it! The summer rolls were particularly good! You can’t book but the turnover is quite quick so no one seemed to wait long. Well worth a visit!
