We were two adults and a child who ate there. We all thought it was the best we had eaten in a long time, and we eat out all the time. I myself ate the Lamb Casserole. Delicious! Recommended!

We went there for breakfast it was nice and really large portion!! The service was good but it was really hot inside!! I recommend the place!!

They canceled our booking 20 mins before dining time on a mother's day! We drove all the way from Reading on Sunday just to have proper breakfast. It's disrespectful and really disappointing for a Turkish Restaurant.Why are you taking online reservations if you do not have enough capacity in your restaurant?! It could've been managed properly . Glad to have stumbled upon this place. Delicious to the last bite. We had lentil soup, Adana, and chicken wings. All full of flavor with great service on top. Gladly come back when in the area!

Place was not clean at all, I would give 0 stars if I could, I went with my family and i could easily tell it was low quality, we ordered starters(meze), they barely put one little spoon in each small cup, which didn't even taste good anyway, the bread came in greasy, unclean baskets which has been used by many other customers, staff were all unprofessional. The toilets were very smelly and unhygienic, restaurant toilets should not be like this. I would not recommend this restaurant

Very good chicken shish the meat itself was cooked wel. My boyfriend really liked his mixed grill. The only downside was the portion of hummus as it was quite small but all tasted very good.

Today i went for a meal with my husband and two boys for valentines dinner we have been attending this restaurant for years. The food we had today was terrible the lamb chops was off and wasnt fresh at all and the manger wanted to charge us full price i am shocked we had to pay anything to be honest we should only been charged for drinks

I relished the best chicken sheesh in the UK at this spot—so tender and flavorful. The lamb sheesh was satisfactory, and for starters, we ordered cacik, lamb and hummus. Unfortunately, the lamb and hummus fell short; the meat used was too fatty and burnt. While the service was fine, improving the quality of the lamb and hummus by using lean meat pieces would enhance the dining experience. Additionally, adherence to their toilet policy would be appreciated.

I visited Sefa’ this morning for breakfast with my mum. We were met by a group warm welcome by the staff. The service was so good; The Turkish breakfast was a flavor party, and the tea was so authentic, I half-expected a Turkish grandma to pop out of the kitchen. Shoutout to the staff – they're like breakfast ninjas; you never see them coming, but suddenly your tea is refilled, and life is good. Sefa: where breakfast dreams and my appetite unite in joyous matrimony!

Food is reasonably priced and OK although not a patch on the food from previous management. Most irritating of all though is the AI type Muzak jazz playing over the sound system , it’s not even proper artists - perhaps this is to avoid a paying a PRS licence to play real music!

The proper Turkish breakfast with çay 🤌

Awful experience for me and my family. As a turkish person we came here for turkish breakfast at Emmys kitchen which was not nice. No greeting, no smiling and not even a good bye. I have to ask couple times for bread and tea as the were not attentive and did not check if we needed anything, our bill for( 2 person turkish breakfast) came to £49. I was waiting for my change and the waitress asked me “are you waiting for your change?” 🤨 in which i replied “yes I am” unfortunately I don’t recommend this place. However, we have also visited the other branch and was a great experience!

Lovely little place. Ambience was lovely nice jazz music being played. Brunch was nice good portions. Nice decor, staff were attentive. Food/ tea could have been hotter but just my preference didnt ask to warm up as I didnt want the fuss but wasnt an issue really. Only nag no salt/pepper on table have to ask. Overall lovely place to go anytime.

Delicious food choices and great tasting mocktails. We had one mixed grill and one meal of chicken wings and a lovely salad dressed with pomegranate molasses and a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Our server was really nice and very attentive. The service was good and the portions were ample. I would definitely go to this restaurant again.

Came here with my family on a lovely Sunday afternoon when it wasn't busy at all. We can be quite particular with our food but we ended up choosing a platter for 4. We wanted to swap out one of the cold meze starters but it wasn't possible for whatever reason. We just topped it up with the dolma vine leaves anyway and called it a day. This made the order super easy as we had enough for a 5th person and had all our needs sorted. All we needed was beverages on top, which is where I ordered a mango juice and a jug of water for the table. The mango juice was nice and the meal itself was lovely. While I'd like to swap out a few lamb chops for some more shish kebabs, it hit the spot for sure. The shish kebabs could have also had a super light sprinkle of sumac to give a slight twist on the flavour too. I've not rated it higher because the downstairs is in dire need of modernisation. The light flickering could be an issue for anyone who suffers from light triggered seizures. The floor to the toilet was soaked and was dangerously slippery too - then you finally get to a very dated toilet facility that doesn't make use of the space very well - I'm thinking potentially adding some decor like upstairs and maybe even some plants. The cleaner floor would reassure me that these toilets are cleaned regularly too, which I don't really have. While I say this, I don't think it's any reflection on the staff, who were fantastic the whole time and were really personable. I just think this place needs a slight reinvestment before the next 12-24 months start looking even more dated for a place that performs so well in every other aspect. I wish for great things for this spot so we can come back and re-evaluate this review more highly.

A good restaurant serving Turkish food. A varied menu with hot and cold varieties. A friendly greeting and prompt service from the staff. A very good experience and at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Went for lunch after a walk n play outing with the kids at Greenwich park.. atmosphere was nice, seemed like a family run place.. ordered chef's special Hunkar Begendi (4.75/5) (star of the meal) also Adana kebab (3/5) and a hot side Icli kofte(4.5/5) (runner up).. service was A+, got on the house warm Turkish bread with hummus and Tatziki..the food was a lot in quantity for 2 adults so ended up packing up most of it.. first time experience packing your own food from a restaurant ..!! Next time will definitely go with a lil more hunger in the belly..!!

Went to lunch recently with a group of ladies. Our host Sena was both gracious, professional and friendly. Food was great, have eaten at Sefa multiple times. Definite recommend.

Ive never had lunch or dinner, because that Karadeniz breakfast is indispensable! Tursu kavurma, green beans and mihlama! Cant really express with words must go at least once for that breakfast💕

Food was a small portion and overpriced and if it’s compared to “London prices” make the hummus taste a bit better. Mashed potato was awful but salmon was nice. Previous owners were nicer and gave bigger portions, I don’t think I’ll go back as not as friendly and portions smaller.

A most excellent restaurant if you enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine. The food is delicious and perfectly cooked. The table staff are very attentive and will make you feel very at home. 6 stars+

We noticed that since the owner of the place have changed everything changed.. food not as good as it used to be.. the staff not as friendly as use to.. missing the good wibe..menu has changed too.. not sure if it is now one of our favourite littel place to go as before..

Wir waren heute dort essen. Es war super lecker. Die Vorspeisen und auch die Hauptgerichte waren ein Gedicht. Alle Zutaten waren sehr frisch und das Lokal war sehr sauber.

Rude - terrible customer service. I made a reservation for birthday dinner. When I arrived to the restaurant, a tall girl with black hair pointed out the table instead of taking us there. No hi, no smile. We went there because the owner is a friend of us however, service was definitely the worse thing that I’ve ever seen. She had gum in her mouth, shouting around. They were very stingy with the food compared to the price. It’s definitely over priced place. We asked for mixed kebab got 2 spoons of rice on the side. We had pide that we asked them to put it in the box they gave the box to our hand instead. What kind of service is that? When we leave there were no thank you no smile. I will never come back again. They definitely need to change the whole staff

I have been coming here for many years and always great quality food.

Stopped for a dinner , nice place , staff were very friendly. We ordered platter for two , had good portions of kebab, Adana , chicken and lamb chops comes with rice and salad , also hummus and halloumi . Mixed kebab was nice , food is well cooked , comes with fries and salad . Kids had chicken kebab for £9 , good portions can be enough for adults comes with fries as well Another kids meal was lamb for £10 . There was no entertainment sheets for kids, however the staff were very accommodating to their noise .

The food is definitely 11/10 and 100% soul satisfying. I’ve never eaten such good quality Turkish food. Besides this, the service was quick and the staff is very friendly and warm. I’m definitely going to visit again! Super happy and satisfied 🥳

One of the waitresses called Cheedam was very rude to us, conveyed by her body language and facial expressions. She would pretend to not hear me when I asked her for my order, and then refused to serve my family and I, would give us dirty looks, and would urge the other waitress to serve us instead. Upon asking for her name she said: “oh, are you going to make a Google Review - go on then”, showing that she did not care about serving her customers and doing her job. Moreover, we were served drinks that came from multi-pack cans, which you can buy for 1.50, but charged us around 20 pounds.

Staff were rude and service was bad. No complimentary dips or anything as is usually the case in Turkish restaurants, even charged us for extra bread. The food itself was nice but wouldn’t come again for the reasons above.

If you’re looking for proper Turkish food, this is definitely the perfect spot. We had Lahmacun for starters and Adana Kebap as our main. As a Turkish man, I can easily say that both were the best I’ve ever had in the UK. Portions are quite big, complementaries were delicious and the warm bread was a great final touch. Just go, try and thank me later :)

Turkish breakfast and other food. The turkish breakfast was good and plentiful. They only accept cash for the breakfast. So we had to go to cashpoint down the road. Set breakfast for 3 people sharing is £50.

Extremely small portions, paid £18 for 6 small pieces of meet and like 50 g of rice. SCAM avoid, give you loads of free bread tho))) still hungry after.

Good portion of fresh bread (5 pieces) with combo kebab+borek. Rice was tasty too. It is pricey, yet justified by higher quality. Very fast delivery, it would be great if Deliveroo customers could choose the side for the main course (e.g., fries or rice).
