Seeracha in Eastbourne

Customer service is excellent. Food above the expectation, flavour of Asia amazing combination. Definitely would advise anyone to pop in to try this lovely spot .

We dined here last night fantastic service great atmosphere sublime food full of wonderful flavours can't remember when we had a more enjoyable evening

We used to go to this place quite often but we haven't been quite awhile, went here few days ago and food was still very good, will definitely be back soon.

We ordered delivery for two, advised an hour which was absolutely fine. Selection of starters Fowler by two main courses at £12 each along with rice and noodles. Both main meals were half filled containers as shown in image. We ordered no.42 which should have been crispy beef in garlic and black pepper. When we called back to say we weren't happy with our order the guy who answered said they don't do that dish at the moment so sent an alternative. He said next time we order we will get a special price. No thanks... £55 quid and it was dreadful. Don't waste your money, go to the Thai Village instead 👍

Very nice atmosphere and decour. Food is very Anglicized, I presume to appeal to English taste more than Thai. The Mussaman curry I had was overly sweet,runney and no spice. Side dish of vegetables though was excellent.

Made a reservation for today at 2.30pm for lunch via OpenTable. Confirmed reservation yesterday only to turn up today and the restaurant was closed. Really disappointed - suggest you update your opening hours on OpenTable!

What can I say we loved every single dish full of flavour and the presentation was top-notch my daughter loved the Fried rice

Not much has changed, in my view, since my less than rapturous review in February 2018, except that the restaurant this time had virtually no atmosphere. We had 2 courses each, with a bottle of wine and a pre-meal complimentary plate of prawn crackers and were in and out within an hour. The food all came up far too quickly, with no pause inbetween. Unimpressed with the food (which could also have been hotter - just luke warm). The waiter was welcoming and friendly, the waitress was unsmiling and abrupt. Also, when we asked whether one portion of rice would be enough to accompany our main meals, she said a definite "no" and so we ordered two and had to leave one, as it was far too much. We shan't be returning.

We managed to book a table for this evening on the off chance. We are glad that we did. The service was quick and polite and the food was served up quickly and hot. We both had a curry of different sorts and they were delicious. How they manage in Thai food to add so much freshness in their flavours. Excellent

Fantastic customer service, lovely decor, a calm atmostphere. I'm both vegan and gluten free and the staff were very helpful and considerate of my food intolerance. I ordered some mixed vegetables and coconut rice. Was tasty.

I can only say I'm delighted to have found this amazing restaurant. As soon as you walk through the door, you're greated by very friendly staff. I'm a real Thai foodie, and this is by far the very best Thai green curry ever. My friend had an amazing dish, but too, but I know I'll be Thai green at every visit. I can't recommend this place enough. We ordered glasses of fizz too, and they were very generous glasses. The ambience in the restaurant is pure chilled and relaxed. Best restaurant in Eastbourne.

Food not bad but small portions poor value and average service Ok restaurant but be aware menu wasn't particularly vegetarian friendly ( poor starter selection etc.). Main dishes ok but my dinner companion had a mixed veg dish which cost £8.50 and was tiny. Accompanied rice was tasty but tiny portion. I had Pad Thai which was very passable. Service was average but when asked if we were happy we explained our issues and were told we had ordered the wrong dishes !?! We paid the bill but for the first time in many years did not pay a tip. This restaurant has so much potential but is overpriced and needs to consider it's diners a little more.

Excellent food and service. Arrived at half 7 and the restaurant was reasonably busy. Service was just the right balance and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Both the chicken and king prawn pad Thai and yellow curry are must haves!

Went to Seeracha during a weekend trip to Eastbourne. Found this restaurant just down the road from our hotel. We tried booking in person but we were told that it is fully booked. Later we checked online and there was an option to book. So...

Using Tripadvisor to find somewhere to eat, this popped up and was just behind our hotel. Thought we would give it a go. Glad that we did. Food was delicious. We have the veggie spring rolls, tempura veggies and a veggie green curry with jasmine...

Had a really good meal here. Price was reasonable and the food was first class. Service was good too

Daughter had veggie green curry and I had the red curry. Both very tasty. Staff very nice, prompt service. And so reasonably priced.

Ordered a big meal the other day ( over £100) and the whole meal was very disappointing. Every dish was lukewarm & the starters were near cold ! Portion size were atrocious!! Starter prices averaging £6 per portion is not cheap so I expected it...

Ordered a king prawn pad thai noodle dish, which tasted ok. The disappointing thing was there was only 4 prawns in it and it cost £9.50..

Just had another great takeaway. This is the fifth we have had since lockdown and has never failed to impress. We have been eating at Seerachas since the early 80s and have been fed the loveliest dishes and they continue to do this for us at home. Well done. Keep doing what you do.

Not impressed. Ordered at 4.30 to secure a delivery early to be delivered at 6.15. At 5.30 we received a message stating the restaurant had cancelled our order. We took a trip down there, they said come back in 30/40 minutes we’ll have it ready. We did as instructed and guess what no order ready! They then said re order via just eat - another 60 minute wait. No thank you. Disgusting service on New Year’s Eve. Won’t be using again.

There's no shortage of good Thai restaurants in Eastbourne. And Seeracha is no exception. Great food and friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again.

Ordered takeaway from here (during lockdown). Our chicken penang curry was delicious, but the container was half full! Not very good value for what we paid.Our veg green curry was also delicious - but again, a bit lacking in vegetables and quantity for price and size of container!Will probably not rush back here again for a while.

I booked as part of the eat out to help out scheme since the reviews were so good. My husband and I were not disappointed. The lamb shank massuman curry was exceptional. We also enjoyed chicken with cashew nuts. Thank you.

We visited here for lunch as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations. We had a fantastic meal, service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going again soon.

Mi experiencia fue muy buena y, viviendo en Londres, he comido algunas cosas tailandesas para llevar. La comida era generosa, caliente y sabrosa. Gran sate y el pollo, el chile y la albahaca era encantador. Llegó un poco antes de lo esperado, lo cual fue un poco molesto, ya que primero amo mi g & t, pero un punto muy menor en comparación con esperar durante horas. Definitivamente voy a ordenar de nuevo.

Pedí una comida para llevar de 100 de Seeracha para una comida de cumpleaños que se recogerá a las 6:15. Recogimos nuestro pedido a la hora asignada de 6:15 y conseguimos la comida para llevar a casa para encontrar que faltaba casi la mitad. Justo antes de que llamáramos a Seeracha nos llamaron para decirnos que se habían perdido parte y nosotros dijimos que estaría aquí en 10 minutos y dijeron que estaría. 7:20 Finalmente logré comunicarme por teléfono y dijeron que el conductor de la entrega se fue hace 5 minutos, así que debería estar con nosotros en 5 minutos. 7:45 Llamé de nuevo porque todavía no había entrega y dijeron que llamarían al conductor de la entrega y me llamarían. A las 8 pm llegó el resto de la comida y estaba apenas tibia. La otra mitad de nuestro pedido tenía ahora 1 hora y 45 minutos y la masa de 4 lotes diferentes de entrantes estaba empapada y todas las comidas de pollo se volvieron masticables. La comida se arruinó. Este fue un pedido de 100 sin disculpas y sin oferta de reembolso, cupón ni nada. ¡Pésimo!

Este es el mejor restaurante tailandés en Eastbourne y actualmente ofrece un servicio de entrega de comidas. La calidad de la comida es excelente y las porciones abundantes. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Hacer pedidos en línea es sencillo a través de Deliveroo, que también le proporciona un seguimiento de pedidos que funciona muy bien.

Fui aquí anoche después del cine. Han pasado algunos años desde la última vez que vinimos, no estábamos muy impresionados entonces, pero vaya, qué diferencia esta vez, excelente servicio amable y rápido y muy sabroso. Las raciones eran más grandes que la mayoría de los restaurantes tailandeses y absolutamente deliciosas. El único otro lugar en el que hemos encontrado el vino tailandés "valle del monzón", caro pero excelente.No lo dejaremos mucho antes de que regresemos.

We ate here last night whilst on a weekend break to Eastbourne. We were sad it being our last day as EU members. Enjoyed the food which is better than your average Thai. Spicy chicken had a kick. The place is full of charm. Friendly staff, warm, comfortable. I used to go to a Thai place in Kings Cross regularly called Paolinas and it reminded me of my happy times there.So nothing not to like. Except when my sleep is disturbed due to excess of salt in the food. When will restaurants start to have a section on their menu for those of us who don't want high salt food? Or high fat for that matter. I'm afraid it's Italian tonight. A safer bet, if not a tastier one.

Muy amable bienvenida, servicio atento. Cenamos para 2. Había más comida de la que podíamos comer, pero fue bueno probar una variedad de platos. Todo fue de primera calidad. Los pasteles de pescado son probablemente los mejores que he probado en mucho tiempo. Pollo al curry verde era increíble; Podía beber el caldo como mi comida reconfortante. Really excellent authentic thai food. Good service. The massaman curry was superb. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced.

We ordered takeaway from this place. Pad thai and chicken with holy basil (hot!!!) was nice, chicken with baby corn was ok. Spring rolls tasted great. Fishcake appetizers were good but beware it is not an 'English style' fishcake but something you would actually get in Thailand (bit rubbery). Don't forget to reserve a table as it seems always full on weekends.

Went here lastnight for the first time and I'd highly recommend. Great vibe and busy on a Friday night. Food and service were all great and impressive. Staff were friendly and very attentive. We were staying locally so were delighted to step inside this wonderful restaurant. Great welcome, very friendly and for a weekday evening they got busy. We had spring rolls to start with and then sweet and sour chicken and beef, with jasmine rice and pak choi it all was really delicious. i had lychees for dessert and they were served in a beautiful glass. Reasonable priced, we would definately visit here again.

This restaurant is excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is very good and the food is very tasty and good value for money. I would advise booking a table as it gets very busy. This one of the best Thai restaurants that I have ever been to!

We booked a table here on a Friday night but it was not busy when we got there. Friendly staff showed us our table and they were all in traditional outfits. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated, it tacky or over the top.

Nous avons vécu un moment très agréable autour d’un dîner en couple à Seeracha. Vaste menu, accueil et service doux, agréable et efficace. Déco et ambiance signées. Excellent goût pour nos plats - soupe Tom yum, riz à la coco, riz frit aux œufs, red curry aux pousses de bambou. Je recommande vivement.

een here a few times over the years and the food is consistently superb. Really individually flavoured and tasty. The portion size is good and we always order too much. Big mention for the satay, crab/sausage cakes, the duck in tamarind and my favourite the beef massaman. Top food.

Have been to Seeracha before & to the sister restaurant in the harbour. Was very surprised to arrive at 21:50 just to be told they were closed even though the sign on the door said open.

We visit this restaurant once a year and are remembered by the staff - that tells it's own story. We had the set menu for two, plenty of variety and full of flavour. Will be back next year.

Buena comida y servicio amable. Ensalada de carne tailandesa generosa y muy bien cocinada. Pad Thai estaba bien, no tan generoso. Teníamos la fuente para compartir (estaba sabrosa) y pudimos cambiar una de las piezas, lo cual fue bueno. El servicio también era bueno. En definitiva, una comida agradable.

Authentic Thai food fit for a king. Delicious curries and satay. The coconut rice was superb, and the beef salad very tasty.

Everyone is so friendly and the food is lip smacking. Delicious and fresh, they consistently serve great Thai food and have an ability to make you feel welcome without being overbearing or intrusive. This is a great place to go for a romantic dinner or to pick up a Thai takeaway. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is situated in the Seaside area of Eastbourne which is a little run down. Parking is tricky but the restaurant itself is well furnished and peaceful. Staff are pleasant and there is also bottled Long Man available. The starter of Fish Cakes were fine but did not have any wow factor. Crispy Duck was very good indeed and served in large quantities. Sweet and Sour Chicken was fairly standard with the chicken pieces being over processed. The starters work out at about £6 and mains at £9-10 so this is not an expensive restaurant. However costs can add up if a vegetable dish and rice is added to the order as well as a dessert. Alternatively 2 mains would be enough for 3 diners. Another Thai restaurant with the same owner is in the Eastbourne Marina and I think it is a little more expensive presumably due to the location.

Myself and my partner were looking for a nice place to eat in Eastbourne and happily stumble across the Seeracha Thai restaurant.

We have been using this restaurant for a few months without any problems however today’s delivery was almost inedible it was over 30 minutes late and all the food was cold. The soup had spilled out in the bag and the crispy cod was disgusting Sorry but we won’t use this one again as at 50 quid I would at least expect the food to arrive hot

We have been coming to Seeracha for many years, at least 20. We love the food and the service has always been good. However, our last visit we felt extremely rushed. They brought us our bill without us asking for it. They then decided to open the doors to let the cold in (our table was by the door) to get us out, it was only 10.30 and a Saturday night! They also asked if we wanted a taxi booked! All the staff seemed to be piling out the door too. Really unprofessional and we was quite disappointed with this treatment. Probably give it a wide birth for a while now, really sad.

Hemos estado viniendo aquí durante los últimos 20 años y siempre hemos recomendado la excelencia tanto de la cocina como del servicio. El personal siempre fue excelente. No esta noche. Realmente no les importó menos. Se olvidaron de las bebidas. Derramó comida sobre la mesa. No sabían lo que podían ofrecer a los comensales veganos (no es difícil con la cocina tailandesa) y fueron realmente terribles en su cuidado de nuestra fiesta. No volveremos El fin de una era. Muy triste.

Visitamos el restaurante a principios de semana. El lugar no estaba tan ocupado, que era agradable y la decoración era muy agradable! Me encantaron las sillas, son muy cómodas!

Tuvimos un poco de este excelente restaurante anoche entregado en un gran momento, la comida era absolutamente maravillosa y agradable y caliente a la llegada. Tenía las costillas pegajosas como entrante y eran abundantes y deliciosas. Para un main tuve pollo chili agridulce, otra vez delicioso. Estaremos ordenando de nuevo pronto, gracias chicos!

We were greeted at the door by a lovely lady and the food was delish. It looked lovely too. We had the set meal and it was plenty - we didnt need a desert. It felt very comfortable in the restaurant.

The mixed start were obviously from a Cash n Carry; the hot/sour soup was like dishwater and the main courses were so bad we sent them back, settled ghe reduced bill and left.

We had another wonderful dinner at Seeracha where all the dishes were of highest quality. We visit about 4 or 5 times a year and the food is as good each time. We enjoyed the mixed plate starter tiger prawns in sweet & sour a quarter duck & Thai green chicken curry. This restaurant will not disappoint

Lovely food, great flavours, very quick service and food was hot. Red Thai curry was to die for. Arrived late and just managed to sneak in for our meal.

Visited with friends on a Friday evening. It looks a little shabby from the outside but don’t be put off as it’s well worth it. The food comes up very quickly and it’s really tasty. The service is a delight as the staff are really friendly and responsive. Highly recommend it.

Exquisite flavours, beautiful decor and flawless presentation with nice touches such as fresh cut flowers on each table. Have had a lot of Thai food over the years and this rates up with the best of them! Would recommend to everyone visiting Eastbourne

Lovely restaurant, really clean tables, white linen. All the staff were friendly, some couldn't speak much English, but were all very pleasant. The food looked and tasted amazing. Lots of choice. I am a vegetarian but the rest of the family had a variety of different meat dishes.

Serving fried fish in a thick creamy Thai sauce seemed ambitious but Seeracha pulled it off brilliantly, somehow keeping the fish from going soggy. Our other main of basil chili chicken was more conventional but also delicious, as was our starter platter - with the sweet, sticky ribs a particular highlight.

Did not book. Managed to get a table. However would advise booking as there were a few walk in' s and some were refused as there were bookings arriving. Absolutely lovely clean restaurant. Staff very very friendly and attentive. Food excellent very tasty. Good portion sizes. Enjoyed the whole experience of this restaurant. Not on the main hub of Eastbourne so it's worth looking up. Would definitely recommend.

Liked the décor and it has a really nice warm ambiance/atmosphere. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. However, we both found the food very average, so we were a little disappointed. Perhaps it was our choice of dishes, so maybe we will try once more.
